does anyone have any Tips on how to take care of a fat body for someone who hasn't had one until recently. there are Things that are coming up that i never really thought about before (like thigh chafe) and i don't trust google to give me non-fatphobic answers, i want real tips on how to feel more comfortable in this changed body from people with bodies like mine rather than get told i need to starve myself to look good
#one thing that's been getting me is my posture#i tend to have a hunch because of back issues and while I've been working on fixing that misalignment it still bothers me#especially when now my little rolls actually make kind of painful creases when i sit like that#but yeah mostly my thighs are touching each other now for the first time in my life#and im very happy to have them look like that but i don't want my already irritated skin to get worse#also i know there's definitely other care tips that i wouldn't even think about until i finally see them#like i think my hypermobility is having issues with the new weight of my limbs#because turns out getting about 50% more heavy in the span of a year (which really isnt saying much seeing where i started from)#can mean already loose joints get strained even more#which it's not straining TOO much because the rate at which i gained weight was pretty slow (again. did not start from much at all)#but it's still something i want to keep an eye on like. is my body slightly more prone to subluxation now?#or would it even be better possibly because of extra cushioning#or maybe net neutral#idk this is new for me but i want to learn how to take care of this in a way that will preserve the body type that's been bringing me joy#because i cannot state enough how awful being underweight is for me. it's torture. and I'm not going back to body dysmorphia
