What color hair did you have? Dark brown.
Did you wear glasses or have contacts? I got glasses in 3rd grade.
Did you have braces? Yes, but not for my teeth.
Did you go to pre-school or go straight to kindergarten? I went to preschool.
Out of grades 1-5, which one was the best for you? I enjoyed all of them, but my favorite teacher was the one I had for 4th grade. He really made learning fun.
Did you have a lot of friends, or just a couple? Back then it seemed like everyone kinda just hung out with everyone and your friend group switched a lot. I’d say I had my more permanent friend group when I got to 5th grade.
What were your favorite shows? All the popular stuff at the time.
What were your favorite movies? Disney movies and whatnot.
Did you read Goosebumps? Yes, I loved Goosebumps.
What was your favorite thing to do on weekends? Watch cartoons, play Barbies, play with my cousins.
Pre-Teens. (Grades 6-9)
What color hair did you have? Still dark brown, but in middle school I got blonde highlights added.
What color hair did you want? I wanted the blonde highlights.
Was your Middle School a seperate school from Junior High? I went to a K-8th grade school.
Did you have a lot of boyfriends/girlfriends? I didn’t have any boyfriends. I had crushes, my first major one being my guy best friend at the time in middle school.
Did you still watch Disney movies? Yes.
What kind of music did you listen to? Top 40 stuff. Middle school is when I first got into Linkin Park as well, which has been one of my favorite bands ever since.
What were some of your interests? Music, TV, going on the computer, reading, hanging with my cousins.
What was your favorite animal? Dogs.
What was your favorite color? I think back then it was red for most of that time.
Did you draw? Attempted to, yeah. I’ve never been any good.
What was your favorite subject? English.
Did you have any piercings? Just one in each earlobe.
Did you wear make-up to school? I was allowed to wear like lipgloss in middle school and then started adding mascara and eyeliner in high school, sometimes eyeshadow.
What kinds of clothes did you wear? Preppy/girly, t-shirts and jeans.
What did you do on the weekends? Hung out at home watching TV, reading, going on the computer, hanging out with my cousins.
Smells Like… Teeeenagerrrrs. (Grades 10-12)
Did you like your high school? It certainly had its ups and downs. The first two years were a little rough. I liked my senior year.
Was it as bad as they were on TV? I was expecting it to be how it was portrayed in movies like Mean Girls and was really nervous, but that wasn’t my experience.
What color hair did you have? Still had the blonde highlights for most of it except for when I dyed it black during my emo phase in 10th grade.
Did you have any piercings? Just my ears still.
…How about tattoos? No.
What age did you learn to drive? I haven’t.
When did you get your license? --

What college were you considering? One in southern California.
Did you get along with teachers, etc? Yes.
Young Adults. (College years)
What did you look like? Well, my college years were like 18-26, so that’s a pretty big range. Uhh. I had like shoulder length hair for most of that, still had the blonde highlights until my last semester of UC when I dyed it red and also started to let it grow longer, glasses (ever since the 3rd grade, never have switched to contacts), thin.
When did you first move out of your parents’ house? I’m still living at home.
What college did you end up going to? A local community college and UC.
What kind of music did you like? Variety.
Did you like college? Overall, I suppose. It was definitely stressful and I experienced a lot of burnout and feeling overwhelmed. There were times I wanted to quit and had to really push myself to keep going. Lots of late nights. I enjoyed many of the classes, though, and a lot of what I learned. I was really involved in the psych club during my time at community college, which was fun. I actually had a social life then, too.
How long were you there? (2 years, 4 years, mooore) Like I said, my college years were from 18-26. Most of that time was at community college, with the last 3 years being at UC.

Have you ever dyed your hair? Yes, numerous times.
Did you study any languages (other than the one you were raised to speak)? I took Spanish all 4 years in high school and one semester in college.
Are you still into the things you were into when you were 12? Some of the music, movies, and even TV shows. And I’ve always loved to read, that hasn’t changed. Still spend a ton of time on the computer.
How about 15? ^^^
Do you listen to the same bands you did growing up? Yeah, a lot of them.
Were your parents cool parents or were they strict? My parents were/are cool.

2.
I saw an old friend today. She lives a few hours away. We have know reach other since pre k. Possible earlier than that. We also went to a private school until 8ty grade, so it was small. Not to many options for friends, but we did good. She was more girly (still is) and I being the tomboy. Sometimes she’d make me feel bad, or be so emotional I wouldn’t know what to do. Which probably made her feel bad as I think back on things. She’s in town, so we’ve hung out. We had a little distance for awhile while I dated a horrid person and she and I had different interests. But we’re back. But our meet ups always start slow and slightly awkward. I’m not very social inclined to begin, but she is. Eventually we get the ball rolling and don’t want to stop chatting though. Funny how it happens. I’m sure I will always love her and count her as a friend. In high school tho, she went to public while I continued in private. We did different things and made new friends, but my cousin also went to that public high school. My friend wasn’t always nice to her and I didn’t like that. It became one of those situations where, when with person A you talked bad about person B. Then while with person B you talked about about person A. It made me so uncomfortable, I realized they were just different people. They didn’t. I wasn’t one for being any kind of confrontational either. I wish I would have stood up for both of them, rather than talk about their more negative qualities. Everyone has them. Especially me. Those two helped me realize that even though I have negative qualities, it didn’t mean people liked me less. Or at least, I hoped they didn’t.
