#aizo’s really too good for this series (sometimes). very male lead of him i have to say #he forgives his mother for being like *that* to him and still loves her despite everything #he shows kindness to people who openly hate him (mona; granted it was only to make up for his bf’s earlier misdeeds)#a n d he tolerates yujiro’s nonsense (bc he loooooves him) despite their frequent arguments and disagreements all #meanwhile yujiro openly hates on people who go after his bf (kanami 2k20: never forget… and chizuutan to a degree too ig)#man i miss honeypre event stories (says this all the time). i miss seeing aizo pine on main (while being dense about his own feelings)#and yujiro being salty on main (while somehow being even denserrrrrrrr about his own feelings for aizo)#those event stories truly were some of the best shipping fuel for ss lxl #(also ngl but. i liked how hiyoko was still present in their stories as the supportive friend role to them…)#(unlike a certain [redacted] anime which turned her into a horrible self-insert who shoehorns herself into situations unrelated to her)#(*cough* aizo’s so-called ‘fake trauma’ *cough* ‘how could yujiro’s family hate him when his mom makes him such a nice lunch????’ *cough*)#(wished we could’ve seen more of the jk trio in the event stories though [sadge]. bring back honeypre p l s)#um anyway!!!!!! see y’all when the next lxl mv drops ig???? maybe later in the week???? sometime between wed-fri???? idk?????

in dghda the universe is a stage all the characters are performing a role the universe wants them to act out, hence theres a backstage of reality, theres an ending to the cases thats all planned out

LADIES AND GENTS AND THE THEYS INBETWEEN- I PRESENT TO YOU MY TAKE ON MONA LISA/Y’GYTHGABA IN RISE OF THE TMNT0

So- The basic things about her is that I based her on a big mouth cave salamander, as well as a yokai- I decided to write her as a lost friend of Red fox. They were in movies together for Jupiter Jim, but due to personal reasons Mona quit, and went back into the hidden city and became a pirate.

I like to think when the boys see her they recognize her (Raph specifically) even tho she was only in like. 2 or 3 movies.

#I like to think Mona starred in Jupiter Jim Sails The Seven Galaxies #They mention how Raph always gets a pirate accent afterwards and thinking it could be his all time favorite JJ film endears me to no end-#Mon and Red were like. Childhood besties. They wanted to work in the movie indestry together #But Red ended up becoming really close with JJ. And Mona started feeling kind of- Ignored.#She brings it up to Red; but she just tries to reasure her that 'Of course you're my friend! I treasure you. We'll always be friends'#Without actually doing anything to reasure her or trying to spend more time with her. She thought their bond was stronger then this #So one day Mona just. Quits. Update I FINISHED BUNNY and oh my god what a fucking ride that was

I (as I expected) had to put the book down when I finished it and just sit there in complete silence and stillness to process the story I'd just been through lmao fuuucking hell

#that was a goddamn book and a goddamn half #I'm so disappointed it's over tho #I'd love love love to read more of this terrifying drug trip #unfortunately it does not exist #but my god it was great it was amazing #I can feel it rising now into my top five books ever of all time fucking hell #mona awad #bunny #bunny book #bunny novel #I honestly loved how weird and at times confusing it was #it had all this beautiful meaning and purpose there #but it was also really unique and interesting and shocking and horrifying #and the writing was just so clever #Jesus Christ #I feel like I need to reread it rn to pick up on more stuff

my 'hey yes we have an all-consuming brainrot going but let's try and do something actually productive this week that I'm having off of work' project is sorting through my bookshelves, rigorously throwing things out (little miss I own over a thousand books in my one-room apartment is reaching the breaking point aka I'm finally and utterly running out of space) and i think i threw out almost a hundred books today and it's still not anywhere close for sorting shelves by genre without having to stack and put things second row. how am I supposed to live like this

#*mine #mona rambles #I've already put a book buying ban on myself until i catch up with my tbr of owned books #unfortunately for me then tolkien took over my brain so while i /am/ only more or less buying my 2 allowed books per month #they're all his stuff and I'm not making a dent in said tbr at all while also having very little hope that this is going to change anytime #soon #i do have a rough sorting now by like....#fantasy / other fiction / queer + feminist + antiracist theory / other non-fiction / poetry / classics / philosophy / language + travel /et #but it's really more of a suggestion and really testing the limits of like.... shelf space lmao #i'll have to catalogue all of it too once i'm done to see what my actual tbr is at and like. man. terrifying #but also i just think someone should pay me money in exchange for 5-50k words per month so that i can move and have a library. it's time
