1, What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

My husband has a character he loves for rdo, Makwa. We started talking about him one day and somehow decided to start roleplaying. So I made Cassidy as a partner for him

2. How long was the process before the character reached its final version? (or a version that would be clearly recognizable as the character?)

He's still techinally a work in progress but he has most his backstory, character traits, and personality. I just dont have his cowboy design. He has his army fit and his face and hair and stuff like that is done. His now cleary recognizable version was first made on 8/27/24 and his doodle sheet was finished on 9/23/24. So bout a month later. Im also still working on getting his shire/cob mix drawn with his new pattern marking. I used a f2u base but the stature isnt the same so i need to now translate it onto his actual body.

3. What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story?

So it went kinda backwards from how theyre listed. His role came first since Lamb and I decided to make him Makwa's boyfriend. Then came his personality which plays off Makwa a good bit. Then his design and finally his name.

4. And reverse, which one of the four things did you struggle with the most?

His design. His clothes have been very difficult. His army fit not so much since I can just look at historical uniforms but his cowboy fits been a whole lot harder. I still dont have his cowboy fit cause i cant figure out what kind of silhouette I want for him and the extra details. I want him to look unique and not boring. A lot of cowboy designs just feel really lacking on details. So idk

5. How did you choose their name and why? Was it simply based on vibes or is there any specific meaning behind the name? Are the reasons behind their name different in- and out of universe?

So his name means White Fire Fire. I thought that was hella funny so I chose to use both of those. Hes also a pyromaniac so yknow. I also wanted to make sure he had an Irish last name since his mothers 1st gen Irish immigrant (so shes irish herself) and his dads 2nd gen (so his parents were irish). I just looked around in name lists. I think I specifically looked for male names popular in the year he was born. So like 1850 sumn I think. I have it in my notes somewhere lol

6. What was the thought process behind their appearance? Did you go mostly for the aesthetic or are there other reasons they look the way they do?

Honestly it just kinda immediately was in my head. I was thinking of that one guy in Captain America: The First Avenger. The ginger guy in Steve and Buckys team with the stache. He was my first thought but I wanted Cassidy to look more unhinged which made me then think of Charles Manson and his eyes. Also with some color palette changes. Speaking of which his colors are mostly in the red to yellow range with blue because of fire :)

7. What is an aspect of their appearance that you like the most?

His stache. I dont draw a lot of facial hair and it just is him. It makes him so noticable. Its either that or his eyes. I like the shape and his crazed expression or yknow the opposite when he gets angry and the tops of his eyelids actually touch his iris.

8. What is the origin of their personality? And let's be honest - how much of it is projecting?

He does have some projection but lets be honest again all my characters will have projection. Whether I know or not i just dont know how to make characters without some degree of it. I only know myself completely like that so ofc in creating a whole new person im gonna use myself as reference. Any mini ramble over, he got my pyromania cranked up to 11. Like hes actually an arsonist, I am not. I just like watching fire and watching stuff burn. Idk where the rest of his personality really came from though. Just me brainstorming and givin him stuff.

9. How big is their role in the story? Do they make a frequent appearance or are they a character with little "screentime" but big influence? Or are they just a favourite background guy?

Seeing as its roleplay centered on him and makwas story id say pretty massive lol. I love him but I think lamb and I both kind of see it as Makwa being the main character while Cassidy is his supporting character

10. What is their main character arc in the story? Where do they start and how do they develop? Do they get a happy ending or is their story a tragic one?

Honestly? Hes not a good guy. He never gets redemption. He is intrinsically bad. He kills for the fun of it. He quite literally will kill you (general) if youre too boring and dont bring him entertainment or if your death would bring him entertainment. His main motivators are protecting Makwa and having fun. The most "development" he has is basically developing a set of morals which is just not doing stuff Makwa doesnt like. As for an ending he doesnt really have one yet. We dont know where thats going but we have a few general plot points that are in a timeline.

11. Is there any existing character from other media that your character resembles? Was the resemblance intentional or was it a coincidence?

Without his stache, he honestly looks like Julian Devorak to me. Idk if theres any others tho personality or looks wise.

12. Do you have a playlist for the character? What songs do you associate with them and why?

I do!! Lambs helping me build it but mostly its built off vibes. Anything slightly unsettling or creepy while upbeat. Theres also a ship playlist but its only got like 4 songs rn and that ones Lambs

13. Do you have a voice claim for the character? What do you imagine the character sounds like?

I dont yet. At first I was thinking like southern American accent with notes of Irish but I couldnt find any references to that. So now Im just thinking southern cowboy with some words said with the pronouncation of brit english. Seeing as his father has the southern accent since hes usa raised and his mother died when he was a young kid, he doesnt have a lot of the Irish accent influence anyway.

14. Do you have any quotes tied to the character, either from the story itself or from another source that fit them?

I have some from roleplay but not really. Heres a few from rp i like ig: "Got teeth like the god damn hounds. If your name aint Dog already, it should be." (after Makwa bit him on the hand during their first meeting) Makwa: "...you have to bite the hand that feeds you." Cassidy: "I didn't feed you shit, mutt." "No plan makes a dead man."

15. Have you ever made a moodboard for them?

Hub and I have a Pinterest board for the both of them. It's called Blazen Arrow which is their ship name.

16. Is there any memes or running jokes associated with the character, both in- and out of universe?

in universe, he gets the outlaw name "Fire Boy McCoy" and he absolutely hates it. I cant think any others right now.

Fire. Lots of fire.

He does have a family which consisted of him late father, late mother, and older sister (and the inlaws and nieces and nephews). Then yknow Makwa. And his horse and cat. Theres a few others but those are the important ones.

Idk. I just love all of him. Him being completely unhinged probably if i had to pick.

feelin like that dude who ate an individual slice of cake alone in his car just to have a single thing to himself that he didnt have to share with anybody or make anybody else’s business. not his wife wanting some or kids begging for a lick of frosting, just a moment for himself to be himself by himself and enjoy something all for him. quite literally as i was plating my small batch of cookies my mom comes in and goes OOHH COOKIES HUH??? THATS FUNNN LOOK WHAT A FUN THING YOU DID like i cannot even make cookies at 4 in the fucking morning without her finding out about it. and of course the feeling is guilt; i look like the asshole for getting upset since she didnt do anything wrong. but she “caught” me, as she always does, and that’s the real message. 

my mom is such an overwhelmingly oppressive force in my life. i want to be able to move out and be independent so badly. im going to be fucking 32 this year. and every single year has felt exactly the same for the last ten, where im just stagnant and stymied at every turn. ever since i had to come home from college because i got hit by that fucking car, ive felt like i’ll never be able to escape. i cant sleep at night because she snores through the walls, i cant have a single conversation with her without her turning it into a therapy session for her (despite me setting boundaries, kicking her out of my room, and nagging her to see an ACTUAL THERAPIST). i even struggle with my own therapy because i know she’s listening in the next room. i cant withdraw from my own bank account without her seeing. the car i drive and the insurance on it is specifically in her name, and she keeps procrastinating on giving me the title (despite assuring me it’s “my” car). and of course, her hoarding. my parents have so much control over my life that it feels insurmountable to get out from under it. and they dont want me to leave. my mom keeps calling me her “roommate”, as if i selected her as a candidate to live with. as if i looked at all my options and chose my mother as a roommate.

r crumb is a fucking asshole, but there was a documentary that delved into his family life, where his brother and mother lived together, both severely depressed, and the brother morosely commented how he would probably never be able to leave, as he had to take care of their aging mother. he made self-deprecating comments about how he was stuck there while robert got to move on, and eventually he just killed himself. the only way for him to break the tether was for him to take his own life. i saw that documentary as a teenager and it’s haunted me ever since.

Charles, who Robert acknowledges as his main artistic influence, no longer draws, has never lived on his own, and takes prescription psychiatric medications to help stabilize his mental state (he committed suicide before the film was released[5]).

it’s so fucking cliche and stupid but tumblr is genuinely the only place i can be myself and express myself. i can’t put up pictures on my walls so i put them on my blog. i used to be able to draw with the touchpad, so i loved making silly doodles for friends about whatever dumb shit came to mind, without the pressure of it needing to be “worth my degree” or profitable. i cant express my political opinions, as scant as they are, because my family is full of conservatives. and despite my mom cornering me and forcing me to come out to her, she’s quite comfortable being a bigot, only making efforts to “be woke” so as not to upset me, rather than from a place of empathy. 

tumblr is the only place my parents cant find me, mostly because they have no fucking idea how to use the site. everything else, no matter what it is, they’ll eventually find out, because no matter where i go and what i do, i have to fucking come back here. i feel like unless i can make a full, clean break from my parents—my own car, my own bank account, a job or school where they can’t just “swing by” and visit—i’m never going to get to be my own person. im never going to be free. but i dont know if im strong enough to break away with absolutely nothing. i dont think im strong enough to survive on my own with nothing to my name.

Next, you may be thinking hey, there’s 7 seasons of this! Where do I start?

Well dear anon, that, doesn’t actually matter much. As in like, you really don’t need to start at the beginning. You can go back at anytime but there’s not exactly anything crucial to the point where you need to go back unless you want to at a later time for more content and to get a few in jokes. I’d recommend just staying with season 7! We’re getting close to the end of season 7, not like soon, maybe a few months? But like you know, you should be good there, and there’s plenty of content!

So you’ve gone through the flow chart, while whoever you get content wise might be what you’re looking for, their vibes might not! High energy, low energy, their episode pacing, it just might not be what you’re looking for at the minute!

While I cant exactly give you a clip of one of ever hermits episode to chose who’s editing is what you enjoy, I can offer you advice of what will pretty much happen because of this: You will watch the first few episodes and end up with multiple people you wan to check out from their vibes. You do not enter hermitcraft and come out with one content creator, you usually end up with like, 5, or more, probably more.

So! Don’t worry about going to them when you first start. Like really, ultimately the pacing is up to you and you really might end up watching just one or two people! But just, don’t overwhelm yourself when you first begin, if there’s anything important going on you’ll usually hear about at least a little what other people are doing, there’s no story stuff really so don’t worry on missing out on stuff. It’s just individual person and projects experience :)

Joe Hills - His vibes are absolutely immaculate, you are going to be incredibly confused and baffled or completely vibing but either way next thing you know you’re completely sucked in and excited about the poetry at the end of the episodes. That’s the joe hills difference! (Also if you manage to catch a joe stream I recommend it because theres just, so much more vibes there)

2. BdoubleO100 - oh my god his builds. i would die for this mans builds. his houses????? oh my god??? the interiors,, the exteriors!! Also he’s just!! Vibes but like Unhinged in the most loving way possible!  I think? He was a radio host like actually at some point? I dont know if my brain made that up but his vocal range is wild and it is the most entertaining engaging narrating I know of dude

3. Zedaph - god these really are just based on vibes, but more vibes!! Very very good vibes he makes me very happy. His editing is wonderful and his intro is very fun. The most understable and enjoyable redstone shenanigenry and general shenaniganry i have ever encountered. just,,, zedaph,,

4. RenDog - Now, I have not watched a single hermitcraft episode from this man but I have watched about 7 hours worth of streaming from him over the past two days and feel like he should be here

5. TangoTek- Same reason as above, I watch his streams only but once you see his creations you will get it this man is absolutely amazing at what he does also good vibes and absolutely entertaining i adore the him

6. Goodtimeswithscar - By far very high up on the oh my god this man and can build and oh my god this man has the best vibes. Shenaniganry! Very very fun! Building and things and part of some of the big server stuff! :D Scar!

7. Grian - You probably know him, very big builds and crimes! Chaos! Really did prank his neighbor on the first day of the server and I respect him for it. Thank you @kahasan for tagging me in your post!! I’m super happy to partake in this ^_^ Its always fun to try describe yourself haha ok here I go!

Appearance: I am about 5′3 closer to 5′4. I have very dark and think hair that is wavy and slightly curly. I have a light brown skin tone, that gets a whole lot darker when I’m out in the sun for too long. I have dark brown eyes and I go back and forth between my glasses and contacts. I also have a small head with a small face including mouth eyes and so forth.

Personality: I am a huge extrovert. I thrive on talking to people and just making conversation. I usually just a very happy go lucky person. Aside from that I almost have no filter, and by that I mean that I don’t tend to sugar coat things. So if anyone is asking for advice and will be very honest to them. Although, I’m pretty honest in general. 

Ability: I don’t know if speaking Spanish is an ability but I can do that! :D I also can sing pretty well and am able to match pitches and keep a rhythm. I can also do the splits! I have a very wild imagination, I love to write so there are like a hundred stories in my head.

Hobbies: I draw once in a while, but they are more doodles I cant draw to save my life. Writing is a huge hobby of mine, I write short stories, drabbles, poems and even try to write a novel. Fun fact! The longest story I wrote is about 200 pages and I’m still writing it! Another huge hobby is just listening to music, I love music so much that I listen to just about anything. Experiences: I’m just barely starting out here, in a more active way. I think I’ve have tumblr for about a year now, but I’ve only been liking stuff and following people. It just took me a few months ago to want to actually post some of my ideas and some of my stories in this blog. But I am very happy with the people who I am talking to right now and how have helped me with some of my writing. It makes me really happy to be in this community and I’m really happy about finally being more involved. ^_^

Life: I am a college student who is pursuing an English Literature degree. I’ve been with my boyfriend for about 5 years now since September and we are High School sweethearts. I am still very much in love with him, he is my best friend. But with college almost coming to an end the realization that I really have to start living life on my own and independently is finally hitting me. Its scary, difficult and altogether a pain, but I’m still very excited to live my life.

Random stuff: By freshman year of college I found out that I was going to have fertility problems. Which means that I am going to have a real difficult time trying to get pregnant. Luckily, its not something I have to worry about now, since I am still a student and such, but its still something I want to have. I want to have a family, heck I’ve always wanted to have twins too! So that’s something I’ve had to accept for a while. I am totally happy with the option of adoption though, and I really want to adopt now even if I’m blessed with a child of my own body. 

On that note I just want to say that I want either two or four kids! I want everyone to have a riding buddy for amusement parks and such! haha I already have a few names picked out for girls and boy. Girls: Olivia, Angelica and Belinda. Boys: Raphael and Leonardo. I was tagged by @fersaurio thanks luv. Uhhhhh this is gonna be really weird. Rip im on my phone atm in class replying to this cause my proff cant use a computer. 1) I started off painting landscapes . I didnt switch to drawing/painting people untill i was 14/15 range. Ive only been doing people for 5 years roughly. But i had like 0 friends and all i did was draw. To this day the only person i talk to on a normal basis is my bf. Because he drags me out of my room away from my art tablet so i dont over do it. Lol. 2) I really love to sew . Though im crap at it and normaly only do it for cons . I also have a bad habbit of not finishing projects and forgetting about them. 3) im a 2nd year university student with a bad leaving things to the last minit habbit. Also getting off topic. But yet im a workaholic with art and have spent 12 hours stright on stuff many times with little breaks. I lose track of time when vent doodling. 4) when i was in 4th grade i spent 2 months with my parents in a rv and drove from my city in canada to california. Ive been to a fair amount of attactions and sights that i dont even recall. 5) i clean when im stressed out and yet my room is still a trash pit some how. I can confirm my room is a endless void of landry and random things. My cosplays are never all in one place. I still cant find my skirt for my brs uniforme. 6) i collect sharp and shiny things. Sadly after we rearanged my room i cant find any of my shit half the time and randomly impail my self on things. Or trip. Or just sit on the floor looking into the void that is my room blankly untill i recall why i came into my room in the first place. Im mentaly 80 i swear some times. Get off my lawn. 7) the doctors at the hosptail once told me that corpeses had more color in there face then me. I wish i was kidding. I need more sun. i also freaked out there med students that were touring in the er because i took 3 fluid bags in a iv and my blood pressure still didnt go up to normal level where i should be awake. But i was just chilling fine once the pain killers kicked in. lol also apprently i have like no veins anyware but in my hand that the full time needle guy can never find. In the blood work flie for me they have in blod text " use a hot pack on hand " lol. Also that it might take 12 (that one time sucked) times min 3 . Rarely one. My body fucking hates me. Im always sick. Always. 8) I had a stalker for two years untill they moved ((and i got a restraining order)). So im a wee bit cautious with people offline. 9) Im really intrested in history. Debated doing my minor in classics instead of anthropology. But the professor i would have to take a class from inorder to get it is a huge ass hole. So no also debated dropping out of unoversoty and going to art school like my mother want me to . At this point im only staying in uni to be a spitefull little shit. Plus degree with skeletal anatomy can be good for anything really. And i like looking at the material even though it smells awful. I plan on making a summary post on what it is i study some day. 10) Im a huge dork. I really am. Im apprently good at puzzel games ? i beat 100 levels in a day once. Ended up 4th on the leader board and then gave up because i got board meh. Currently dropped down to 29th place after not touching it for 3 weeks.

1: Mysims Karla Intrests: Geeky Cute Hates: Studious Karla is a townie geek who comes to {yourtown} at star level 4. She hopes to grasp the inspiration to create and finish her famous comic book series: "The littlest star".

Introduction: "Hi, I'm Karla, the comic artist behind the famous "The littlest star". I was hoping to grasp some inspiration here in {yourtown}. Accept Move in: Yay! I can't wait to get started again! Can I be in a place that has a lot of stars? Finish building the house: This feels so cozy, just like in issue 9, chapter 2 of my comic, "The new home"!

Charlotte is Kaia’s equally leggy, equally barely legal ride-or-die. Her dad is producer Bill Lawrence and her mom is actress Christa Miller. Her dad was a bigwig on Scrubs and Cougartown—those shows that you kiiiinda  forgot about up until now—both of which her mom starred in. That means that Charlotte has clocked in a lot of time growing up around actors like Zach Braff and Courteney Cox, that actors you kiiiinda forgot up about up until now. She is also dating Presley Gerber exclusively, which totally doesn’t sound awkward for Kaia at all. This Canadian beauty was discovered at the age of 16 at Coachella.
