I do complain about (general) artists’ commission practices a lot but like…you are running a business…
It should be decently professional even if I’m commissioning art of that twink being rawdogged by an old man.
#it’s not about pricing it’s the fact that some artists treat commissions like it’s a social club#or influencer crap#like your commission sheet should be pinned or at the very least not buried underneath 10 billion discourse posts about cartoon characters#or learning about critical events like pause in commission fulfillment from social media#like honestly that’s one of my bigger pet peeves for tumblr comms#it’s extremely tedious to find a decent commission sheet with clear guidelines and pricings set#and work examples#compared to like twitter#which i assume is partially because twitter has the character limit#so artists and writers are forced to compress info clearly#and vgen has that same issue tbh since some artists will not give clear price points#even as ‘baseline’ and its just ‘please dm me for full pricing’#like i get theres extra charges im fine with oaying them#but even a rough estimate would be nice
