it's already said and done at this point and there's a VERY good chance donnie has forgotten about it lol. i think he'd needed access to april's phone in order to install it so there's a good chance he'd nabbed it and done that when she wasnt looking at some point (the little shit lmao) so he cant go and remove it remotely, and if he ever ends up remembering i think she'd kinda shut him down because its convenient. it WAS right when it went off and im sure they've already had a discussion about it where april thanked him for the sentiment and agreed to keep it because an antivirus was a good thing, but made a point about donnie doing shit like that behind her back lmao. dont touch her stuff without permission!!

donnie definitely wouldn't end up putting trackers in them, though! its mentioned as something he's considering pretty early in CL but it doesnt end up happening, and i think he'd be worried about it being too big an invasion of privacy. he wouldn't want them to be upset if they found out-- although there's a chance they might voluntarily go with the idea if he ever brings it up. ironically, that'd probably be a post-invasion conversation, because i could see the paranoia of them being hurt again spurring him into it.

donnie would very rarely approach raph unless its kind of paired with a real "reason", which usually means most talks they have are utilitarian and productive. things about the team, mostly, or something in relation to one of the others. or maybe donnie's bringing up an idea for team support, or offering to fix something for him (the weight rack haunts him, and he doesn't even remember it), or just wanting him to give a gift and needing an idea of what to scope out first. things like that.

he looks for raph's pride and appreciation more than anything. he wants to hear a "good job" and raph is increasingly more reluctant to give it, mostly because he knows donnie is prone to overworking behind their backs and he doesn't want to validate self-destructive behavior like that. its really hard to find the line especially because donnie will freak out if he gets too confrontational. "we dont want you to do good, helpful things if it hurts you to do them" is a concept that is REALLY hard for him to grasp. you know how in coming undone he hears "we dont want you to" and thinks it means "we dont want you"? yeah

raph works around it by being the one to initiate, usually. even if donnie needs something from him he's not going to be the one to come to him, so raph tries his hardest to bridge the gap and seem approachable. it's kind of awkward when they just hang out one by one, doing something together instead of just engaging in parallel play, because its been so long and both of them are so careful about appeasing the other, but they figure it out slowly.

to this day they do not know it was because they went there,,, leo mentions the night after where they cuddle up together only because its the last time they ever really do something like that, but they mention a lot that they dont remember exactly when it started (and the weight rack is earlier than their earliest estimate!), with the onset being so slow and with their thought processes being so clouded by all these excuses and rationalizations, its hard to say for sure. what's an extension of how they already acted and what isnt? they'll never really know.

if he learned about it though, oh yeah. this time he would not be reveling in being right, and if he was the only one who learned about it he would NEVER tell mikey, considering he was the one who was so pushy about going there in the first place.

leo thinks the most about how witch town was caused by what he perceives as his own negligence. i think all of them have a tendency to see their old selves as a lot worse than they actually were-- because they cared about donnie a lot and they did take care of him when he needed it. leo's the worst about it, because while raph and mikey will get caught up on the idea of knowing about witch town at all, leo's quicker to cut to the core of the problem-- would have donnie ever lashed out like that if they'd just known, and been able to reassure him, before it ever got to that point? why did leo's stupid younger self have to dismiss all of the signs?? miner's eulogy heavily features this thought process, which is why learning about witch town makes him react so badly in the first place.

donnie was already bad with yelling even before the Horrors and that's just because he's incredibly sound-sensitive and jumpy. if strangers yell he's bound to fall over like a baby goat regardless, which i think is just kind of intensified in cc!donnie. more likely he'll bolt like a skittish cat if he's shocked by a sudden noise like that. where is he even going? who knows. he just took off LMAO

otherwise i think it just really depends. there's bound to be a lot of shouting in battle so i think after a while he'll become desensitized to it, but i think if he was watching something that hit a little too close to home he'd probably just kind of freeze. i dont think he'd go fully dissociative but his breath would catch and he'd be slow to respond if they talked to him, and they honestly just might mistake it as him being drowsy/falling asleep until they notice him shaking. for some reason my brain went to tangled,, certain parts around the end there might hit a little close to home for obvious reasons.

it happened specifically away from donnie because raph knew it was going to upset leo and mikey a LOT, especially because both of them would demand details, it's just the type of people they are-- idk i've always just kind of assumed in my head that raph would physically be able to show it to them since he was already given donnie's permission to, dont think about logistics too hard. it was a really rough conversation though, especially tangibly seeing the way that the curse pre-closet fucked him up. it just gets worse the more you think about it.

a wall was probably punched. and it was probably leo (and donnie never sees this, the way that it affected him, because leo keeps such a tight hold on his anger and despair for his sake). and raph knew something like that was going to happen, which is why he kept it away from him. there's multiple times especially early in cw where they do things like this, talk about things that donnie expressed privately (or things they only witnessed, like raph catching donnie sleep on the floor), it's just the only time it's shown in donnie's perspective and he really ruminates on it. it was probably the right choice to make, raph just should've been more clear it was what he meant. mikey the mvp for being so open about things tbh

Love these thoughts anon. I do think they are getting hotter each year, so I can only begin to imagine how good they are going to look when they hit their thirties. I do think a lot of the drivers look hotter the older they get. 

Charles has always been very pretty but I think it was maybe mid way through last year where I was just like - you know what I think he looks even better these days - like I noticed that he seems broader and more muscular, which I know he still has that tiny waist but still he’s filled out and looks great. 

I think maybe I prefer a different  ‘version’ (not sure if that is the right word) of Charles to most people. I completely agree with you - I think he has this sweet angelic look and beautiful eyes - but I just love it when it looks like he could pick you up and throw you about a bit. Don’t get me wrong, I think he is cute but I also like that other side to him. I love the slightly longer hair and I do think the Ferrari merch this year looks good on him. He has been looking particularly good this year, even when he is fully going through it with the car. 

LOL yes Max is full of pregnancy hormones and absolutely glowing. It’s difficult to find a polite way to say how I feel about how Max looks hahaha. To me, perfect. A bit like Charles he has that pretty side to him but then also has that really hot sexy side to him. I know I have mentioned this before and probably sound really annoying to go on about it but when he walked past me in real life my heart did actually feel like it stopped for a brief second. You are right, Oscar is looking good these days. I think its because he is getting a little older but I also completely agree with you, I think it comes from confidence and also from being happy and I think that really shows through. I always think of Oscar as cute, like with that flush of red on his cheeks. Don’t get me wrong he can look hot too but I think he is more likely to give me cuteness aggression haha.  I don’t get to see enough of him these days because I have so many McLaren related tags hidden haha.

What makes the "non binary" women so annoying is that they don't even do anything gender non conforming. Like I've never met a they/them girl not in a long term relationship with a man. In fact I normally meet them THROUGH completely straight "normie" male friends who are their bfs. And they act like it's self evident they're a they/them. And as I don't remotely buy it I keep getting their pronouns wrong. You know they don't do this stuff at work too 🙄 like do something *actually* gender non confirming other than clothes or using the phrase they/them. I dont get it? In fact, weirdly enough I find totally "normie" straight women straight up dolled up in loads of makeup often are much much more likely to break gender norms in ACTION than they/thems. You know, because they lift up other women (mentoring into leadership roles, hell just being supportive) rather than they thems who insist they're they're women. Often these "normie" women do gender non confirming things all the time but that doesnt count if you own a skirt and have large boobs. The they thems are honestly so alienated from their bodies which is so unhealthy. I feel like I'm on eggshells around they thems. Around "normie" women of all stripes i feel I can often get a shared female moment which is really special, we really do look out for each other, hell sometimes you're the only two women in a room and it's a great convo starter. Random women have always looked out for me and I try to do the same right back. Around they/thems I have to be as aloof as i am with a man (more aloof if anything) you have to pretend they're not a woman or discuss literally anything about biological sex or gender. Which yknow is part of life... and feels super self censoring?! Hell I even sometimes discuss sex and gender issues with men (not like super deeply). It's honestly straining to talk to they thems cos you have to constantly remember they them and use gender neutral terms for everything. And they don't like also if you express any joy related to being a woman (okay you don't like yourself but that's not my problem).

I can say to a guy "I am happy being a woman" and even him, a man won't find fault with it. They thems wear me out. I don't have any interest in being friends with a they/them cos being a woman is a central part of my life. I honestly am so happy i am straight cos even if never date a man for the rest of my life people just take one look at me, know I am obviously not remotely in lgbtq culture in any way whatsoever and that gets me a free pass on not knowing any terminology even though I was literally right there on tumblr seeing it get written in real time. I don't know how I emanate this "don't know lgbt stuff" energy so well cos I don't wear makeup, don't shave, act very dominant and masculine etc. But never ever they themed. I honestly think it is cos i have a very hourglass figure. And I don't wear revealing or that feminine clothes i actually wear mens clothes a lot. But I couldn't remotely pass for a man ever regardless so i think big boobs are a big protection against they theming. I think you're onto something there. That sounds exhausting to have to deal with that many gender ideologues, I'm sorry. Are they really that common? Maybe I haven't encountered as many because of my line of work. Or maybe my age. This stuff was unheard of when I was in school in the 90's and early 00's, we didn't have a GSA and there were no out LGB people that I knew of personally and I didn't even know what transgender was until after I graduated in 08. No social media besides MySpace lol.

I get what you mean about these people not even being gender nonconforming at all, especially wrt actual behavior and gender roles. It's just an abstract concept or aesthetic to them. I've known quite a few and even dated (briefly thank god) a very feminine woman who used she/they pronouns who questioned my gender several times. I once overheard her friends talking about me and asking if I'm a boy because I "look like one" despite me introducing myself as her girlfriend. She also gave me shit about my "genital preference" and said I shouldn't talk about it because it hurts transwomen and said that "not all lesbians" only like vagina. I went off on her about it which led to us breaking up and then she went around telling people at our workplace that I was a "closed-minded, anti-dick" TERF. So that was fun. I still chide myself for not confronting her about it. And you're right lol, most of these types of women are into men, she went back to dating men after me despite claiming she was a lesbian while we dated. Didn't surprise me one bit.

I do carry myself very confidently, some would say in a "masculine" way which contributes to why these types think I'm somehow not a woman.

kyouka keeps taming animals (no one can bear to hit her. what if the dogs get mad at them. what if they have thorns armor. WHAT IF IT MAKES HER SAD.) and she is simply accompanied by a pack at all times

atsushi is still learning how to play and he builds these ugly-ass houses like we all did starting out but hes so proud of them (as he should be)

i was torn on dazai but i think it would be funny is hes so so bad at minecraft. he keeps walking off of inclines and dying bc he doesn't pay attention to his healthbar. he insists hes just playing on a higher level (hes actually rlly good at pvp and uses that for shenanigans but general play? he sucks so bad)

alternatively i think kunikida should be really good when he does play bc it would annoy dazai so much. i think he builds really nice houses and insists the game is just math but doesn't even play that often bc too much time gaming is unhealthy (it infuriates dazai that hes so competent despite barely playing)

i think ranpo plays exclusively for the chaos. he and dazai are a terrible combination (for everyone else) but also extremely funny. also i think he breaks minecraft in insane ways for fun when he gets bored and its a tossup whether the rest of the server suffers or benefits bc of it

tbh i think yosano should go feral in minecraft? like i think she should steal good gear from whoever has it and go kill to her heart's content. u cannot tell me she doesnt have insane amounts of repressed fury i think she should relieve that stress by going on adventures where she kills whatever she finds. yosano should 1v1 the warden powered by sheer spite i think

i think fukuzawa would not really understand minecraft?? but he gets on the server sometimes to spend time with the other members and has a minecraft cat that follows him everywhere (it took so many fish to tame. he worked so fucking hard for that ok)

OH MY GOD KENJI. I FORGOT HIM. THE BOY. i think hes so excited to play with everyone :) he can't build but he collects animals like kyouka and also provides the majority of the food for the other server members. hes like me fr just out here making massive farms of food and also collecting soo many farm animals in pens (he insists on not overcrowding the animal pens)

kyouka as an animal hoarder tamer is so cute and so real. kenji definitely does this too and yeah he'd totally make Massive farms. ranpo tells him he could make automated ones with redstone and he finds that amazing but also much rathers to just do it himself. they have huge buildings dedicated just to the animals they've collected and basically every name tag someone finds goes towards naming them all.

atsushi would 100% start out building the ugliest houses fr...all the dirt 4x4s and then the wooden box houses. he gradually gets better until hes a pretty decent builder. i feel like he'd also be the type to just get utterly lost in the game lol both in terms of directions (but he always writes down his coordinates) but also like he'd look up at the clock and realize he's spent 3 hours mining.

dazai being an utter disaster at the game is so funny to me. he's not allowed to go mining by himself because he will just die in a random cave and lose everything (also not allowed in the nether for similar reasons). he would be the type to purposefully hit a zombie pigmen just to make his fellow players lives worse lmao. the first thing someone gives him on the server is feather falling boots because he keeps walking off tall places (half the time on purpose the other half are complete accidents) it just makes him walk off things more but at least he's dying less because of it. he's an expert at setting up in game pranks though (usually on kunikida, the poor guy)

kunikida being great at minecraft is so near and dear to me now. i feel like he played the game a lot as a kid because lets be honest, its perfect for him but then kinda fell out of playing it as he got older. and then one of his students from when he was an assistant teacher reminded him of it and he got back into it. he definitely plays for like a couple a week to destress on his own private world where he has the most insane builds. he also is totally a resource gatherer/hoarder too, he's always giving the others supplies (though giving is a strong word, half of them just steal from him).

ranpo is also a disaster in minecraft i feel. he could build insane things but he doesn't have the patience for it honestly. same with redstone stuff, like he gets it but he doesn't usually take the time to do it. he's absolutely awful at pvp though and he gets lost ALL the time. he is the perfect person to go to when trying to find a special area or material, he always knows what someone needs. i also feel like he'd like potion making, idk why. he also really enjoys insane mod packs (though he makes other people install them for him)

yosano would totally be an insane pvp'er. she enjoys the other aspects of the game too but she gets the most enjoyment spending her nights beating mobs. she's not much of a builder but she does like to spend some time decorating the inside of ppl's bases. she's the kind of player to set off withers to defeat on her own for fun. she also plays bedwars lol and is a beast at it.

fukuzawa definitely has just a nice little house with like 5 cats in it. he logged on the first day of the server and then maybe like 3 times since but its okay. and absolutely no one is allowed to touch his house, under threat of ranpo's chaos lol. also no one really wants to destroy the presidents house, it just feels wrong.

tanizaki is just a fairly well-rounded player, like his builds aren't amazing but they're nice, he's decent at combat, he likes resource gathering etc. i feel like he and naomi have like several worlds of their own that they've kept up with for years at this point, with just like sprawling cities worth of builds. his favorite things to do in the game are probably just going on long journeys to find new biomes and fishing lol

This is Lynx’s most popular album, Conspiracy Theories. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a pic of lynx as the cover even if it’s silly. I really like rabbit imagery in music anyways though so I think it’s nice. I was inspired by Alice In Chains album covers and also fleshwater’s ‘we’re not here to be loved’. I tried to find a way to make it more 'gritty' but I couldn’t unfortunately 😭 I like how the title looks, like they just got a label maker and smacked it on..heheh

I imagine that this album is about relationship anxiety, betrayal, resentment, anti social tendencies, infidelity, and aliens. Probably not little green men, maybe more like the thing kind of fleshy imagery. Definitely appealing to atlas and scotch in different ways. Tool’s Undertow is a good example (off the top of my head..) of the sound I’m thinking of, so… prog? Or at least heavily inspired. I’m bad with genres heheh

im currently trying to either become okay with roadkill's name, or decide on a new one.. so im not making any album covers for them yet lol but i will post when i do..

I think roadkill would take a lot of inspo from their fave band so their style is probably heavily influenced by Lynx. Scotch adds a lot of sampling, distortion, whatever..idk I don’t make music.. and atlas is a big fan of slow tempo and bass. think its important to note that atlas doesnt play bass like a bassist in this album, he plays it more like a guitarist. kind of. hope that makes sense. I’ve always been really torn about roadkill’s genre, it’s been everywhere and tends to change. scotch and atlas’ styles would be vastly different if they were solo, so I think that’s why i am so indecisive . I think I just have to keep reminding myself that they’re in a band together, so styles would be mixed.

A part of me is like.. I think roadkill’s first album would be reminiscent of faith no more’s ‘the real thing’, or even some of Primus' stuff in some sense, plus similarities to Lynx and influences of industrial. i know thats a lot of random descriptions. I kinda think of (here’s a goofy genre for ya) sludge metal bands’ instrumental style, not necessarily vocal style... its hard to describe a band that doesnt exist. LMFAO

right now im thinking about 'the pot' by tool as a close example of roadkill.. im having a hard time finding artists that match scotch's vocal range even remotely. also doesnt help that the bands im basing this off of like tool and FNM dont exactly...fit into genres very neatly. roadkill and lynx wouldnt either. HAH. i just know it wouldnt be that high quality but definitely obvious theres a lot of passion in it. i mean this is just an album made by guys who dontknow what theyre doing. like at all. lol

Roadkill’s sound changes quite a bit their next album when seraph is involved. It becomes a lot more ummmm I guess palatable to more people? I don’t exactly know what I mean by that. Ok. LOL. I’ll think about it.. but this is around when Scotch realizes he wants this to be his job. Having Seraph helps A LOT with building a more dedicated and bigger audience, since they’re the one most willing to make changes. Plus they’re in art school, I feel like they’d have connections. So I guess roadkill would sell out in a way.

if you asked me this question a year ago i would have had a completely different answer. i wouldve probably said roadkill is pop punk or garage rock or something. i have trouble fitting scotch and atlas into a genre together. it fits scotch just fine and i think he would enjoy it, but its not roadkill.. also ive been thinking of stylizing roadkill as rdkill.. lmk wat u think.. im unsure about the name is generalHAHA. i know this is a lot so dont feel pressured to reply to everything LMAO im just thinking out loud. and drawing connections between genres that completely do not make sense. peace and LOVE<3

Absolutely love to hear that you made someone promise to read FFAK as a penalty for losing a MTG game!! Anyway yes, as far as reccs go - definitely check out Kemonozume. It actually was specifically a huge influence for FFAK when i was brainstorming ideas, although I had seen it several years before making FFAK.

I will admit, i haven’t read much Ishinomori LOL.. - my favorite work of his besides Cyborg 007 is Kikaider! Which was actually visually, a huge inspiration for the robot/cyborg designs in FFAK - specifically Scissor’s look. I have been meaning to reread his manga again because its been such a long time since I did. The real reason why I get petty about him and Go Nagai is kind of like.. Well.. 

Obviously, growing up in the 90s, its hard to imagine not being into Power Rangers in some way - which I loved a lot but I’ll admit I barely remember details.. Its just like a fond childhood.. Memory. Power rangers for me really quickly got replaced by Sailor Moon - but it was still something that everyone KNEW. Later on in life when I got more into manga (i always was fond of anime from a young age, whatever I could get my hands on anyway) .. And in my teens, taking it “more seriously” as I wanted to become a comic artist myself.. I remember being like.. Oh my god, wait, Power Rangers!??! THAT was the Cyborg 007 guy?! And he- what?! HUH?? And I feel like - not to dunk on Go Nagai - but Kamen Rider and stuff is like.. Hard to imagine that just like.. Not existing for television? If that makes sense?? Like, how many kids had power ranger birthday parties, wore those for halloween, ect ect- while anime still was like.. It obviously WAS there and had its influence in the 90s but it was still “uncool.” but ALL the kids loved POWER RANGERS! 

And to me, while Go Nagai has certainly influenced SO much with his work and is a huge titan in his own way - it DOESNT feel comparable in the scope of what Ishinomori managed to do. I guess. Like, to me, Ishinomori - while still heavily influenced by Tezuka - made a different kind of impact on the world that just wasn’t there before him. That makes him feel like a different.. Kind of influential titan in terms of like. Scope. Its like “so big” that no one sees it anymore, because it feels like its not from “anyone.”. (and obvs, he wasn’t the only person involved in Super Sentai and ect..) BUT.. so isn’t go nagai with his works!!! And Ishinomori draws way better than Go nagai.. even if I think Ishinomori’s style is also virtually identical to Tezuka that i used to get them confused and STILL can be confused seeing them side by side lmao 

Regardless tho, this i just my opinion on the two of them.. I do appreciate how horny, weird, and genderfucky Go Nagai’s work often includes. And i do think that is incredibly valuable, anime/manga history would not be the same without it.. BUT… i also think many mangaka were contributing to this rising trend of darker and more sexual themes!! Including Tezuka.

OH.. so .. Tezuka.. 

UMMM.. as for Tezuka.. Jfc.. its hard to know where to start ‘cause I love so much of his work. He’s so unhinged. He's a fascinating storyteller to me.. as well as who he was as an artist and person. I love learning about him. Its delightful, tragic, puzzling and often surreal too. It makes me reflect a lot on my own life as an artist and how I ended up being like how i am, and why art possesses me too in a way I can't really comprehend. BUT, through learning about Tezuka - it gives me some language to describe it and makes me feel less alone and less strange. I've basically, over the years, created my own Tezuka-sona in my head to help mentor me through difficult times in my art and comics. Obviously, its not remotely him at all - its me wearing a mask of this.. exaggerated, characterization of who Tezuka is to me - but that game i play with myself helps me a lot when I'm stuck. Somehow pretending to be him, or pretending I understand how he'd think - grounds me. usually because I am apposed to him and his "reckless behavior" - of overworking, overthinking, being too impulsive.. ect.. but he also has "the thing" - "the spark" of what true artistic genius looks like. a fire that goes on for generations and generations and never goes out. The.. "it cannot be replicated" kind of "genius." He is THAT to me and I will always love him for making me feel that way. And I know a lot of artists do too. It truly is magical. I truly feel he gave that to everyone and anyone with his art. AND he was a furry with a transformation kink FOR sure. not even a single doubt. Thank FUCK for Tezuka!! ...Anyway!! i am rambling quite a bit here.. it happens a lot w/ tezuka.. it just does.. i never shut up abt tezuka.. Phoenix of course, his unfinished masterpiece, is still my favorite. (Nostalgia & Sun part 1/part 2 are my favorites from that series.) I also love MW, Ode to Kirihito, Black Jack, Book of Human Insects, Ayako.. Ect..  and so many of his short story collections. I don’t really like a lot of his younger-audience stories. And I actually didnt rly like Buddha, which is usually regarded as one of his greatest works.. But Pheonix and MW are probably my true favorites. If there was (another) house fire, I would probably try to grab my phoenix volumes. That’s how important they are to me (and those things are hella expensive now lmao.) Also Kaiba, another anime series by Yuasa that is a bit more popular, is undoubtably very Tezuka inspired. I didn't like it as much as Kemonozume, but it still was a memorable watch & had great music. I still listen to the soundtrack!

And dont worry, i will keep making FFAK! Unless i actually manage to finish it. Then i will work on other things. Who knows!! for now, we still have a long ways to go before I can even pretend to say its wrapping up.

Oh. I have OPINIONS.. My hot take is that i actually kinda hate Go Nagai LMAO.. i know, i think most would assume otherwise but.. Well. Every time i have read or engaged with an adaptation of his work, I’m left feeling underwhelmed in a way that’s.. pretty frustrating. I wanna like it! but I’m usually left with feeling “.. that’s it??” and i struggle to feel an actual connection with anything made, it feels more like seeing something for the sake of having a broader appreciation for manga.Like, of course, you cannot deny his legacy/influence on manga/anime. But personally i need more than that to connect with an artist and so far, I haven’t felt it. I don’t want it to be forced, but it doesn’t keep me pursuing more of his stories to see if it clicks for me. 

I could also feel this way because I’m such a huge Tezuka fan (he’s one of my favorite artists ever who massively changed my storytelling when I started reading him as a teenager) that I almost have a harder time looking at Go Nagai’s stories and wondering what new things he brings to the table that Tezuka hasn’t.. Done already but better. Possibly a hundred times even. This also could just be a trend with western online circles, but i get kinda offended?? That Go nagai is brought up SO often when i feel like Shotaro Ishinomori was like. Way more interesting as an artist (while also being another well known mangaka Tezuka directly mentored) To me. And i dont see his name brought up quite as often. This is of course just a very petty reason but I CANT LIE.. it will still annoy me.. I see the appeal of Go Nagai’s artwork, but it kinda always gives the vibe of like. Traced Tezuka drawings to me. My favorite thing about his work has to be maybe Sirene’s design. And some of the devil designs are cool. But man, that's kind of like grasping at straws to say something nice. I think his cover art/illustrations are stronger than his actual manga pages, which i feel often look very stiff or unintentionally awkward. His stories too feel a bit rushed. Like “i dont know what im doing! Who gives a fuck!!! heh” kind of writing. Which I think can be appealing and fun but idk.. 

I think because Berserk is such a huge influence on my work, it makes sense that Devilman would be a given too, since Devilman was essentially the blueprint for a lot of Berserk. But I really just think what Miura saw and took from Devilman was vastly more interesting than devilman itself for me. I also somewhat enjoyed the Devilman crybaby anime that was made several years ago but.. Once again.. That was because of Masaaki Yuasa, who is one of my favorite anime directors.. And.. also.. Devilman Crybaby kind of just felt like Kemonozume (an older anime by Yuasa) but worse. It was still fun! but Kemonozume was truly unique and incredible to me. All those qualities that i liked about crybaby were in Kemonozume but stronger, with an original plot/characters and felt less restrained narratively to a pre-existing story. (and one with such a big legacy)

IDK.. hopefully not too disappointing to hear but that’s my honest opinion… So far everything of Go Nagai seems more interesting when done by other people for me, including fanart. I’ve seen SO much fanart that makes it look like a story I want to check out!!!!!! and then the story I check out is just not anything like what i thought lmao. NOW i know what to expect. and so far its just been the same meh feeling.

Well well well it came to my attention (thanks @hulibean) that we are having a party organized by @sesshousfur. As I was a big fan of parties pre-plague and also am a big Inuyasha fan, I feel like this technically was designed for me so here is my first contribution to the Yashahime is over party. Sorry in advance for the english. Tbh I think most people could write a better story than sunrise and I already read some fantastic ideas so here are mine:

The main plot might still concern the pearls but lets be real, I just wanna see the characters travel and fight people with lots of background story concerning the sociological and psychological effects on characters and society in regards to hanyos and demon hierarchy after and before the og Inuyasha since him beating Naraku with Sesshomaru should have some effect on stuff

1. Inuyasha and Kagome are living their best life with Moroha and possible other kids. I think Moroha would be a cool older sister. She is the main character and fights with Inu in the background while Kagome is trying to adult. They can travel between times and Kagome urges Moroha to get an education despite her not wanting. 

2. Sesshomaru doesnt have kids. He is still the head empty weirdo traveling the country, sometimes with his ‘honorary-pups’ rin and kohaku, sometimes just with Jaken and a-un who is still the mvp. I headcanon him as asexual and perhaps biromantic so I could see him grow enough to occasionally have another (ADULT, 18+ person) travel companion of various heritage or just one (*cough* Kagura). 

3. Since Towa and Setsuna dont actually look like Rin and just vaguely resemble Sesshomaru as much as any other dog demon, lets pull one of those out of the magic hat and have them be remotely related to everyone. I like their designs and they have potential as side characters. Them growing up as half demons in demon circles might be interesting to see 

4. Rin could be a jacks-of-all-trades-master-of-none adventurer who travels around, helps people, and is the laidback (slightly eccentric) older sis. Since she is completely and utterly ordinary (and has never been a literal fighter) without any special miko or demon hunter training. Instead she uses the street smarts, kindness and courage she used to stay alive as a child to help and cheer people up.  Maybe she learns how to cook weird stuff and earns money that way along her way. Perhaps she also learns to play instruments on her journey. While her being with Kaede sounds nice for her, she always traveled on screen and I think it’s part of her to discover the world like she always had. At one point she gets an amulet or something that protects her from harm. She and Sesshomaru start the tradition to give each other cool stuff whenever they meet. She mostly gets Kimonos and he gets interesting foods, Kimonos, perhaps hats. She writes songs about her journey and performs for the children in the village and is obviously beloved. Some of the children she met on her journey, accidently - Sesshomaru style - ‘adopted’ them and then brought them to Kaede.

5. Kohaku might travel alot with Sesshomaru and learns how to fight ‘like a demon’ in terms of weaponary and stuff, making him a very special demon hunter and feared amongst even higher ranked demons. I could see him eventually settling down and protect the villages like in the show

6. Miroku and Sango stayed with their children until they were old enough and then started to randomly run around and save people like they did in the og show. Or Sango leads the demon hunters and Miroku is helping as a spiritual guide. But neither of them retire. 

7. Koga and Ayame have a child who is traveling with Moroha as deutagonist. I might add something about the child in the future. Maybe unlike their parents a strategic/planner and calm person who doesnt want to fight but always knows how to talk their way out of shitty situations. Ironically the most powerful in the team as a full demon. Their main motivation is to get away from their parents and grow up to be a respectable person. 

8. Inukimi is living her best life in her castle. Unfortunately to her, people are now aware of her existence and whereabouts and the main cast starts to pay her visits for information and because she is legit fire. Not just Sesshomaru but Inukag, Moroha and Kohaku too. Sometimes Rin visits her and they play games and talk shit about everyone. It will also be revealed that she owns a badass sword herself (made like Tessiaga and Bakusaiga) and occasionally the characters hear rumors concerning higher demon circles about her asserting dominance by murder. This might be a minor plot point, I wanna see more of the demon side of things. Maybe a bit Julie d'Aubigny style in her ‘youth’

9. More toga and flashbacks of him and Inukimi slaying. Perhaps but not limited to Izayoi and Kirinmaru. Domestic flashbacks of Sesshomaru being a little shit would also be very much appreciated. 

10. A third protagonist who is an engineer type kinda person who likes to build new and creative weapons. Perfectionistic and annoying about it. A hanyo who - after finding out about the future - is desperate to visit it sometimes. Their powers might be fire or metal based or something entirely different. 

Gonna add more, I actually feel inspired rn and I have the time. Hope you guys liked my ideas. Feel free to add more. Also, if someone wants to flesh this out, improve and write it with me, shoot me a dm, write me under this post or something lol

Belphegor honestly didn’t get her. She constantly gushed about him, telling him that he was cute and so  many other things. As much as her words gave him a warm feeling in his chest, it was getting embarrassing, with the way his brothers would tease him. 

So maybe. Maybe if he annoyed her enough, she would stop. Even if he knew he’d miss it. He started to ask her to do things. Stupid things. Asking her to do his work, grab blankets, snacks, whatever else he could think of that would potentially annoy her away.

“Hey. Can you hand me the remote?” 

“You... You mean this one?” She asked, picking up the remote less than two inches away from his hand. He nodded, not moving from his spot on his bed. To his annoyance, as always, she smiled at him brightly and handed it over. “Sure thing!”

“For real?” Belphegor frowned at her. She blinked at him and frowned slightly.

“What’s wrong?” She asked. He rolled his eyes at her. 

“You keep doing whatever I say. Do you like being ordered around or something?” He asked her, narrowing his eyes at her. To his surprise, her face flushed and she wouldn’t look him in the eyes. He raised an eyebrow. “You do like it.”

“... maybe.” She said quietly. Belphegor looked at her in an appraising manner, and she began to squirm under his gaze. 

“Come here.” He said quietly. Almost immediately she made her way to his side. He couldn’t stop the smile that slid onto his face. “Kiss me.”

She blinked in surprise, but then grinned, just as sly. She leaned over him, and just before her lips met his, she whispered.

“Sure thing~”

BTS In The SOOP EP4 - HOBI’s REVENGE (The full recap)

I havent done a recap since Ep 1 and technically that wasnt a recap but more for fun. However, after watching today’s episode, I felt inclined to share some thoughts as I found this to be such a lovely and heartfelt episode that truly exemplified not only each member and how they are as well as dynamics between them so im making this exception. This may be a long read for some but if you make it to the end then ❤️and feel free comment. Welcome to a summary/analysis of my thoughts throughout this episode full of cute moments between certain member “ships”. I put that in quotations to point out that I look at these platonically in a friendly way (with the exception of 1 lol) but also as a way to emphasize how each member looks to another as different likes and circumstances arise. We all can fully see that OT7 truly have a special bond unlike other idol groups who pretend for years only to be discredited later. However, it shouldnt come as a surprise that some members are closer to some than others and that isnt a bad thing, just like we all may have that 1 or those 2 people we wanna tell first when you have a major life event or need to just talk. That is the main reason for my recap today, to talk about these and how it genuinely warms my heart because even though they may not act like their full real selves here, after all, this will be seen on broadcast by the general public and not just fans, this is probably the closest we get to their domestic normal selves, no narrative, no event or photoshoot to prepare for, just them doing things as they go. 

We start off after the dinner scene where everyone has dispersed into their own thing. Cue to V sitting by himself in the main house about to sing karaoke. As anyone who has followed him along the years, you already know that he often prefers his own “me” moments and its just cute to watch him start singing to his hearts content that its even pointed out by his hyungs as they sit outside further away chatting. Its nice to see him happily enjoying whatever he feels like doing with no care in the world but I do shy away from calling him an introvert as he can be the social butterfly. 

We then cut to Namseok sitting outside, drinking some beer, having a heart to heart. The rap line has obviously been close for a long time but the way Hobi speaks about his chat with Joon that night and how it feels natural and not awkward shows you that they gravitate towards one another vs possibly some other members in terms of lets say normal adult discussions where its not about jokes or laughter but just growing up and responsibilities or random hobbies and its a beautiful thing to see. Between Hobi wishing he could sing (I think he has a lovely voice and should try it out even when he thinks he isnt good) to Joon talking about writing in a journal or feeling like this is a break they should have where they retire, its cute, its normal non celeb talk, and just a moment between 2 likeminded friends. I’ll finish off this scene with another *Joon should just not touch things in general* moment when he drops the mosquito defector and all Hobi does is smile and reply... 

(Friendship Goals...)

Jimin decides to join shortly after but doesnt have a beer in hand, the hyungs are quick to point that there is some in the other fridge but Jimin dismisses it and goes to sit as all he wants is to be in their company awww. He mentions that he will take some cold medicine and Hobi immediately questions if he’s feeling unwell to which he replies that he is in fact not feeling well. This cause an immediate reaction of concern from the hyungs as Joon tells him to put his hood on to evade a bit of the cold air and Hobi insists in a serious manner to not disobey and do as they say after jimin says its fine. Double awww 🥺

Their night ends with Minimoni heading out to another mini tournament of ping pong because why not, Jimin trying to convince Hobi to watch them because awww, and Joon telling Jimin to not torture Hobi like that 😂. Joon reading the room and knowing its not his thing cracks me up, baby mochi just wants him around haha.

The scene then cuts to the next morning where we finally see Yoongi waking up from him sleep nest in the search for water. He is still out of it as he cutely blames someone from taking his water to only realize a few moments later that that someone was him 😂.

Lil meow meow cutely wobbles out of his camper to go get a drink only to suspiciously look around like he’s spotting the cameras. Perhaps to make a Yoongi Part 3 impromptu advertisement??? We all know how good he is at those 😂. He finally asks himself “What should I do”. Story of my life he probably thinks in his mind... meanwhile I go, just rest. 

We then cut to another episode of the Chronicles of Jin: The “It’s still Hot” saga where I genuinely wonder why he still chooses the tent when im sure another arrangement is possible but do you boo. As always, the forever RJ representative cutely wears his pj’s as he heads to the main house not before stopping to do the most random thing ever...

He finds his way inside to stumble upon baby Tae still kinda sleepy looking complaining to the sink where dishes were left unwashed the prior night. His annoyance cracks me up and then he starts to play with a mini skillet/stove? and we finally get a moment of Tae cooking... yayy. He cutely complains as the rice is not staying together and tests out the sugar level to then realize it needs more and its adorable. Hobi wakes up and heads downstairs to encounter Jin at the piano again and cutely heads towards Tae to smack his butt and ask for some food, cue VHOPE cuteness, which later continues when Hobi wants to time Tae’s food with his jog haha. Tae again complains about the dishes and proceeds to drag a chair closer to the stove because I guess the 2 second distance from the table is too much? 😂Cute..

Back to 2Seok which to what I have seen in videos is not often, agreeing to go for a jog as well as disagreeing on how to go about it. Jin is like America (we go out to the store in sweats with unruly hair and not give an F LOL) and Hobi is like Korea (Where everyone dresses nice no matter what the occasion) Side note* this is my perspective as an american who has visited korea, they just do fashion better over there and I want to buy it all ☺️. I guess Hobi ends up finally convincing Jin to change because next thing they are out and about in their morning jog.

Back to baby Tae and random inexplicable moment of the episode #2... He removes the plate from the chair then proceeds to sit on the floor to taste his treat when the chair is now empty...🧐😂

2seok is now on their jog down the road and Hobi stops to rest on the side with Jin judging him “We only ran for 3 minutes and you already want to rest?” LOLOL. He then proceeds to take some of Hobi’s water and insists on carrying the bottle back because it makes him look good on camera. LMAO Jin, stay humble always... 😂. Hobi just does a literal SMH.

Cutscene to the view where different rooms are shown at once and I spot the second room next to Jungkook in the floating house with the door open.. Hmmm who opened it I wonder? Was someone using the room??

Back to V being his cute self enjoying his “me” time. He proceeds to play again with the rc boat and I almost panic a little at what seems like he may fall into the water trying to place it there. Good thing he doesnt but he gets the wrong control remoter and rushes back to get the right one. Once it finally moves its like all is right in the world. Cute. We get a short glimpse of him in the floating house and seeing that Jungkook is still fast asleep.

We then see Yoongi back at the top house heading in to read his book, shortly after the 3 amigos V, Hobi and Jin are walking in as Jin previously mentioned he was hungry, cue to start of meal prepping. 

We finally see the final member we havent seen wake up, baby mochi in all his fairy like self is still in bed. Tae is the first to open the door to his room and proceeds to cutely jump over him, play around, get pushed back and complain and then just lay on top of him with his butt facing the door. Excuse me while I melt in cuteness..my VMIN heart... ❤️

Only to literally do a 180 and LAUGH my ass off when Hobi walks in, sees them there and just goes NOPE.. walking out 😂

Apparently 2seok have decided on their meal plan and the ever so helpful ray of sunshine seems at a loss on how to set the charcoal on fire, note that he could have asked Jin but he heads to Yoongi for help (Bring in some SOPE love :)). Either way here I was hoping Yoongi would just chill and it seemed like that was the plan until he saw Hobi’s lostness and eagerness to help so he decides to step up again and help out. It’s kinda evident he didnt plan to when he goes “Oh ok” after being told what they plan to eat but proceeds to jump in at Hobi’s lostness in terms of making a fire. Cute. 

Cue back to Hobi disturbing the soulmates and whatever little cute slaps Tae was giving Jimin to probably wake up to ask him to fetch the torch because hes finally done running between the houses like last episode lol. The ever obedient Tae obliges immediately, Jimin remains in bed. 

Were back at the main house and maybe not every caught on but its ADORABLE how Joon goes out with the plan to play with the boat like Tae but leaves it abandoned to see where all the other members are. Note, he is for some reason limping all of a sudden and I think it may have to do with why he left early for personal reasons, I hope he was ok. Potential theory, could Jin slapping the boxer bag have anything to do with it? 🧐.

Anyways, even with his leg issue he literally walks around to the other house, checks on all members and ends up back at the main house sitting next to Jungkook, encouraging him as he is building a glider and then ultimately telling him he will keep him company by sitting next to him and reading a book. Even takes care of him by bringing him a drink. Awwww KookieMonster ❤️

anddd were back to the others in the upper house. 

SOPE taking the lead with building a fire..

TAEJIN figuring out the fish with Tae sporting an adorable hat and looking lost but still willing to help his hyung. Cutely Tae later makes Hobi aware on how this is his first time putting a knife on a fish and learning that a fish’s life is previous. AWWWW.. 

Its the little things that I like to point out, the members gravitate towards who they feel more in tune with. Tae to help Jin and Suga to help Hobi although the opposite would have be interesting to watch lol.

We then get Yoongi thawing out the ribs, Hobi trying to get veggies and LITERALLY pulling out the roots of a poor plant 😂, Yoongi legit pulling up a chair to read while cooking (poor thing haha), Jin crying because hes wasting the fish fillet as hes still learning, Joon adoringly looking at JK while he continues building his glider like a big brother, JK finally giving up and whining that hes gonna ask Hobi for help (HOPEKOOK cutely building a glider? yes please), JK looking over to see what Joon is reading, giving up again and ultimately moving out with Joon looking up like “You leaving me?” and then looking at the camera LOL. 

The 3 cooks up in the upper house are busy in their own thing when Jin asks for the location of the wrapper with SOPE rapping in return making a joke about them being the “rappers” haha. 

Back at the main house Taekook are cooking together. It makes me laugh at the difference between the hyungs cooking above. For starters, JK is cooking sausage for some time but I legit wanna teleport myself over there to tell him “Hey, cut it in pieces, you are burning the bottom of it but the inside is still raw” 😂... thankfully he does that eventually.... Meanwhile little sweet Tae is getting fancy on us and bringing his wine habits into the mix making an appetizer and struggling to open the Jamon packet even though (as the camera clearly zooms in on) the scissors are right next to him...These two are funny. 

Finally someone acknowledges that Jimin is still alive somewhere LOL and its none other than Yoongi who says it out loud in the kitchen then passes by his room but instead of waking him up just cheers him on then walks away haha (YOONMIN ❤️)

However that lasts for about 2 seconds before Yoongi comes back and ask Jimin to gather the others from the other house for lunch as the other members are busy and Jimin listens obediently by rolling over and calling Joon and with a hoarse voice letting him know Yoongi’s instructions. Poor Jimin, he sounds unwell 🥺. Joon goes to gather the younglings, Tae makes it up and decides to decorate the cheese with a red umbrella only to look dissatisfied and make it a blue one lol. They then have some random cuts of moments because JK’s sausages appear on the table but we never see him walk up and then he magically walks out the house but dont show any of that.. hmmmm. I’ll leave my thoughts at that since some people might understand what im alluding to :). 

Yoongi is taking out the ribs and accidentally drops a piece and we get the following reactions;

Yoongi: little scream 😱

Joon: Just use the 3 second rule 🙂

JK: Just wash it and then recoat it with more sauce and that should fix it 😄

To which Yoongi can only look slightly flabbergasted at the suggestion and throws it back “Do you wanna eat them?” hahaha

They all finally gather at the table including Jimin and I see that both him and Joon look a little off, I hope they got better soon after but for sure they seemed sick. Jin sweetly talks about always wanting to make the dish he prepared and how complicated it is and refers to it being a hard dish to make for a Family (the BTS bond is one of a kind). All the members admire the sampling of food, Jimin calls out the cuteness of Tae’s umbrella on the cheese, JK helps Jimin break the ribs apart, Tae tells everyone to try his appetizer, the member’s cutely all aww and ohh when they find out he cut the melon 💜, everyone but JK and Tae seem to know the dish, Hobi and Jimin cue to immediately try it for their friend so he doesnt feel left out, after trying it he cutely asks Jimin how it tastes and waits for his response, another awww, soulmate responds with its diff (which probably isnt his taste but eats it anyway for him ) lol and it zooms out with someone asking (sounds like Jin?) what they will have for dinner to have another member whom I cant tell reply LETS STARVE.  These clowns 😂but I get it, it took like hours to cook each meal.

They get ready to clean and apparently prep something for dinner with Joon washing the dishes and eventually asking Jk for help who is busy cooking rice eventually summoning Jimin who heard his name with Jk cutely smacking his butt to tell him Joon called him to then Jimin telling Joon not to worry and he will take over ( I reread this whole sentence and ran out of breath haha but then again im not here for proper grammer.. oopps). This leads us to a sweet domestic Jikook moment where he asks JK to help him dry the dishes and the other obliges and they just fall in routine.. just cute.

Joon heads back to the main house to pack and I honestly think he probably was heading for a doctor check up, he just seemed out of it 🥺

Jimin gets done with the dishes and ends up next to Tae as the soulmates cutely discuss the game he is playing and Tae announces his kills and loses.

Jimin is then next to Hobi in the other house who is getting ready to customize his shoes, he asks Jimin to join but he doesnt seem enthusiastic to the idea so Hobi just goes “I’ll just do what I like” and to me sounding a little sad since this isnt the first time hes asked Jimin to do an activity with him lol. Before walking away Jimin starts singing a song about it. Yoonjin are back again as buddies down the lake fishing and we get a sweet after interview of Yoongi admitting he is not interested in fishing but he does it because Jin invites him. You KNOW you only do those kind of things for your closest friends or family and that was sooo sweet. YOONJIN goals!

Back at the house we see that Jimin ultimately decided to join Hobi and we get cute JIHOPE moments. Im glad because I honestly got the vide since the beginning of in the soop that he wanted to spend more time with Jimin and hadnt had the chance. They both decorate a shoe each and are careful not to splatter on each other. I also spy with my little eyes... an Iphone?? tsk tsk tsk.. all the others are at least trying and Jimin is like nope hahahaha. If that was indeed a samsung then my bad.

Next thing we know JK and Jimin are harmonizing and sounded just beautiful, can we get another subunit please? I know they did Who and We dont talk anymore but a legit korean song.. anyone? Ok.. moving on haha

Now here is a group I havent seen hang out together often, I  know yoongi mostly keeps to himself but I was wondering if we would see any interactions longer than just passing food or related to meal prep between Yoongi and JK/Tae but here we are, the 2 kiddos singing and the hyung just watching on. Yay..

We later see Jimin revealing his excitement over the art project and im glad he enjoyed doing that with Hobi.

Hilariously enough, not long after, while deep into another song, Yoongi tells Jk that he needs to get out to pack. Jk’s reaction? Proceed to continue singing and kinda ignores hahaha. Cue to the camera angle still showing JK doing his thing and an exasperated looking parent *aka yoongi* just staring at him like 😐

They all head to pack their belongings and we fast forward to them playing games in the upper house. While Jimin is packing he walks out and asks to no one in particular where his hanbok piece is, then sees Jk playing in with the VR and proceeds to go up to tickle him cutely (domestic much? 🥰). This is ironically followed up by mischievous Tae wanting in on the fun by standing up from his spot and moving behind JK and after what seems like thinking it over, carefully tugs his pants down but not with the intention to actually pull them. JK laughs at this and goes “You shouldnt do that” hahaha. Which begs the question, did he know who tried to pull a fast one on him? LOL  

Everyone is back to their usual roles, the 3 cooks prepping the dinner, the maknae line just doing their thing between JK still in the VR game and Vmin cutely playing games in the corner. Yoongi seems like he NEVER rests, poor thing. He sees them prepping the ramen and suggest they add meat and ends up cooking meat. He is such a DAD and im all for it. While all this is happening there is a whole ruckus in the background and we hear the maknae line having a blast but only get a short glimpse of what is happening when the camera is still on the cooks. Apparently Jimin is now on the VR game and Jk decides to mess with him by taking a controller away and putting it behind his back, as Jimin tries to reach out to find it somehow, mischievous Tae is back at it and steals the other and moves it all the way to the other side presumably above the food shelf LMAO. I gather from the way that Jimin reaches UP and not straight out when reaching towards JK and the controller that this is DEF not the first time this has happened and when it has JK played the “I am taller and you cant reach this” stance, so of course Jimin’s instinct is to reach above his head hahaha.

They finally get down to eat and they all run to the table, I spook a cute Jikook moment of JM sitting next to JK and pulling the chair up leaving little room LOL, then Hobi still needs help so Jimin proceeds to go in to help with JK not far behind and a cute JiHopeKook hug alongside a Jikook sweet moment (I see that waist caress there JK 👀🥰😂😏) and they all make it back to the table with their meals ready. Tae makes sure to remind Jimin there is also meat for him to grab. Aww, ive lost count of the times that these two have been looking out for the other and its just so subtle but sweet af. 

Its time to finally go homeeeee. They all decide on who’s going in what car and then suddenly Jin remembers to check his fishing rod. 

Now... you may be wondering why I called this Hobi’s revenge. Well well well.. I want to say that slowly, Hobi decided to butter Jin up by hanging out all day long to eventually go full betrayal mode muahahaha. I kid I kid. But as life turns out, Hobi was presented with an opportunity to return the favor of Jin’s BV4 master plan to abandon him in New Zealand. Well well well... how the tables have turned. He tells his plans to the other nearby and they immediately agree 😂. Cue to a total pandemonium... Hobi rushing them in, Yoongi slowly walking to his car because of course he aint gonna run, Jimin trying to drag his suitcase, Tae running from the house in a cute manner probably going hehehehehe as he hears the plan, Jungkook walking up to them with no idea whats going on, having like 1 second to understand it, and then immediately running unsure of what to do until Jimin goes “Help me load this in!”. 

Jin finally approaches and they get in in time and start driving off. Jin finally goes heyyyyyyyy and cant believe what is happening, shouts out Yoongi, like you cant do this to me LOLOL. You can see Yongi’s big ass smile through the windshield which is even funnier. For a second he stops and it seems like Yoongi decides to have mercy on him, even open the door for him to stick his suitcase in. Hobi, Jungkook and Jimin seem to believe it as they are seen walking back up away from the car guessing the plan is a no go. That is until Yoongi goes full AGUST D and says “Who's the king, who's the boss?”... JK but lets just pretends he says that 😂, and literally does start driving off. Jihopekook see this and run their asses back to the car like little kids and laughing all cute as can be HEHEHEHEHE and they end up leaving Jin there LOL. Revenge is a dish best served cold and you just got served Jinnie.

Legend says Hobi slept well that night.

i know im predictable, but i really reaaaaally want izuku in a skirt and katsuki having an aneurism everytime izuku flashes his (killer) bare legs that had sent more than one person to the hospital because they're dangerous in so many ways lol.

it started with an usually cold snap in the fall of their third year and all the girls were complaining about wearing skirts in such a cold ass weather. they wanted to wear pants instead but school officials were being asshats and refused to budge against the 'dress code'. which THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN rile up the female student body because now all the more they want to wear pants whenever they want because of society enforced gender role while boys get to be safe and comfortable in pants while girls have to wear skirt just because it more socially acceptable even in the bitter cold of winter.

majority of the girls at U.A. start wearing pants under their skirt and some even just wear pants with their uniform as a protest which get them in all sort of trouble with the school because even if this is a hero school that teach kids to fight and survive its still stuck in old tradition. izuku get dragged into this because he's a sucker for a good cause and seeing his close friends (mina and ochako spearheading this protest) he wants to get involved in any kind of way to help them and show solidarity especially when it's only the girls getting into trouble for it because while it started with girls just wanting to wear pants but now it become I WANT TO WEAR SKIRT OR PANTS HOWEVER I CHOSE BECAUSE THIS IS MY SELF DETERMINATION, gimme a choice instead of having that choice taken from me.

so it becomes a thing, kinda of a movement to assert their freedom of expression – to dye their hair, wear earrings, etc. to be free from the archaic entrapment of societal expectations of who they should be and what they should wear. it's especially important in this generation where quirks dominate because look AT THIS DAY AND AGE WHERE not everyone look even remotely human anymore and that's taken for granted now so why should they be conforming to gender norms. so izuku got caught up in it and decided to fuck it and wear a skirt as supportive of the girls' protest.

the first day he wears a skirt, it turns plenty of head. more than the girls in pants, it is izuku that get all the attention because girls in pants, power suit, masculine attires is consider a power move but man wearing skirt or dress is consider soft, delicate, and most of all weak. the sexist standard that dressing masculine make you stronger, powerful while feminine attire makes you weak and frail which is all bullshit when izuku knows many of the girls in his class whether they dress overly in pink lace or not that doesnt stop them from kicking people ass in training.

it's the thing that izuku doesn't notice until he wear a skirt bc suddenly everyone is looking at him strangely especially the boys while the girls make noise of compliments and encouragement with his choices. katsuki wouldn't look at him at ALL but when he does, he looks like he's SUFFERING LOL.

"do i look that bad?" izuku asks worriedly, hands twisting around a handful of his skirt.

mina grins. "No, it's because you looks so good that it's terrifying the boys," she says, giving him a thumb up. "Especially katsuki. now that's real fear in his eyes."

izuku scrunches up his face in confusion "w-what does that mean?"

Mina wags her brows and gestures behind him. izuku looks back and is quick enough to sees katsuki staring intently at his rather bare thighs with knee high socks as a series of conflicting emotions run across it. a cocktail of confusion, annoyance, anger, and something else runs a gauntlet all over his face. izuku bites down on his lips and parts his thigh just a little more and katsuki seemingly chokes on air as he jerks up, their eyes meet for a brief heated second.

the air is still, the world pauses, everything falls silence around them, and as though they're the only two in the world—katsuki looks to be in pained, face twisted in a rare show of raw unfiltered emotion before cutting away quickly, cheeks stained red in conciliatory defeat.

izuku turns back to mina who grins on proudly at his flushed expression. he tugs at his skirt, feeling high and powerful as though he'd slay some beast. "this is a dangerous weapon," he mumbles.

Mina cackles. "to hormonal teens boy, yes."

Could I have some advice? I'm 23f just graduated college, work remotely full time, and I've always lived w/my family. I love them but my mom's extremely anxious/overprotective, so even tho I'm v competent n mature lol I'm v restricted (like I never go out on weeknights). My fam also just moved somewhere totally random where I don't know anyone, but I also didn't have any close friends where I lived before anyway. :( I want to move out for more freedom n life experiences but ik I'll get even 1/2

2.2 lonelier working frm home full time in an empty house, even w/a roommate the roommate wld prolly b at work all day, n im used to having my fam bustling around me. the idea of moving frm my fam (esp my little sister, whos my best friend) doesnt make sense to me, but on the other hand ive never dated or done anything fun or real in my life lol. sry to dump n feel free to ignore, i just often relate to what u post so i thot u might have some insight

hi queen thanks for messaging!! im honoured that youd ask me for advice! your situation definitely sounds like something i can relate to, the big family+overprotective parent+loneliness combo is too real.

in general from what youve said it sounds like you have a lot of the self confidence you need. if so, that's awesome, and just practically, maybe something youd like to do is look for a place to move which is more of a community house with people you share interests with? if youre christian/religious that might be a great place to start, but if not, maybe you could try to find one full of people interested in music, art, fitness, or in a similar career to you. that might create some of the bustle you've been missing, and create a natural environment for you to find friends.

otherwise, if you don't feel ready to leave home quite yet, maybe there's still a way you can find to build self-confidence and make friends, like joining a class to learn something challenging, like a new athletic skill. if you get the chance to try, fail, and conquer something, maybe it could help you work up to bigger steps.

these are just some initial thoughts and theyre kinda just practical, not really emotional haha. you may have already thought of them. if youd like to talk more, please do feel free to come off anon!

S8 ep 11 Changing Times or something like that

Omg the opening!! Nathan at Elizabeth's house in the morning. First of all, kind of scandalous (even my mom was like 😉) And then all those lowkey kinda highkey sexy inclinations. 'Take off your red serge' 'warm you up'. That was a heated scene, I-- 😏I loved it. And yes he did the most adorable thing with the flowers! That was so cute how he presented them. I also loved the easy references about Jack. It's become much easier for E to talk about him in passing without all the emotion hitting her and it's especially nice that it doesnt cause lots of discomfort between her and Nathan. I loved the way she automatically went to button his serge. They are so married. Ugh that scene was just the best and I can't believe that we actually got something like that. I was not expecting anything remotely similar to that so it was real treat tonight.

Lucas definitely sees the love between her and Nathan. And from his talk with Carson I suppose he's already started to move on. And yo Lucas finally took himself out of the equation and told Elizabeth he's setting her free! Boy beat her to it and left with some dignity. I felt for him though in this episode and want him to find happiness with someone else. Hopefully when they write Lucas as a romantic interest with someone else (as they most likely will do at some point) they wont write his character to be so rude like he's been lately.

Moving on, I like how with the school inspector, he isnt some enemy that's easy to hate. It's actually very clear that he's a man who likes his job in the education system and he just wants what's best for the students. Honestly, when he was walking with E and explaining his point of view, I had to agree. I mean, Angela would require so much more attention from E and she's only one person. There's no way she could teach her class at the speed she's been doing, while also teaching Angela and at the same time learning how to read braille herself and teach a blind student for the first time. That's too much for one teacher to handle. I wonder, since Ned's daughter is a teacher in Hamilton, would she come and assist Elizabeth? I doubt it since she seemed to really like her life in Hamilton, but it's a theory. I guess this school inspector drama will be s9 plot bc how can they solve that in one episode left of the season? It's being set up very well I must say.

Ok. Clara. Very quickly, her shirt was way low cut for the times. Quite the scandal that was. Second, I really liked her crying scene when she was talking to Lee. The way she took those sharp inhales, and her change in voice. I really believed it. 👏 Applause for Eva, well done. That whole plot with the business man wanting to build a factory!! It was really good. I mean, how annoying, but it makes for good plot so I like it.

Ah! And Rosemary! The way she fell off that horse! I was kind of scared for her when she was facing those men alone. Ohhh I was really feeling for Rosemary in this whole episode. I thought it was so funny the way she was taking over Lee's office. And oh yay she wants to start the newspaper that's wonderful. I really need her and E to make up. I dont like watching either of them being sad and hesitant around each other. And omg the police that Rosemary ran into at the property. I mean, wow. That man. He was so BIG. Don't mess with him. You run into him down the street you go the other way bc that guy looks like he can take anyone down lol. His face and voice were so intimating too, just overall, dont mess with that guy.

So glad that Carson is moving on from Faith. Omg I couldnt take anymore of them. It was kind of annoying the way Faith kept saying she didnt want Carson to propose, and yet whenever she was with him she was all smiley, like. Girl, talk to the man and tell him you dont want to be with him anymore. Yeah that's my only complaint. Glad that's all done with.

I loved how Elizabeth asked for Bill's help with the school board situation. That whole plot is looking really good and well developed. Oh and the way Elizabeth looked at Nathan from a far when Lucas visited her at the school *spoken in true Hope Valley fashion* 'Oh!' She so loves him.

And I absolutely LOVED the late night rainy scene with Elizabeth holding baby Jack and singing to him😭 That was so beautiful and loving❤ one of the best parts of the whole episode and there were many tonight. I love it whenever people sing on this show, especially when it's a truly heartfelt moment. I just---* deep sigh* It was a good episode tonight.

Quick last thing, where's Ned? He didnt come back with Florence? Weird. Also Florence looked beautiful in that outfit, I loved her shirt. So beautiful.

Overall, such a good episode. So many scenes central to Elizabeth and her plotline, which apparently even though she's the main character I need to be grateful for bc she doesnt get enough screentime normally. That preview for next week was just too much. Omg the way they present the love triangle I-- how cliche and cringe could they be. Whatever I'm still so so sooo excited for the finale!! Hearties for the win! Team Nathan for the win!!
