Drawing is genuinely the only thing in my life that can push past the giant cloud of "blah" that constitutes my feelings, the only time I can actually get in touch with feelings I normally can't put a finger on, the only thing that makes me feel alive

Genuinely believe I was put on this earth to make art

#it's dbz art but still LOL #its that little burst of confidence #or maybe more like #that burst of accomplishment #created something with my own hands #saw my vision come to life #all that jazz #sure there are bad art days but they dont negate the good ones and they still produce art even if 'bad'#the older i get and the more i dabble into other art #like city drawing and people drawing #the more i can really envision myself having a little painting station in my room/house #paint and draw and create for hours #i drew clouds the other day and coloured the sky around them #the cross hatching was bad and the lines were messy and the clouds didnt make sense #but damn did i feel happy drawing that and looking at the final result #musings #this is sappy even for me but i feel like being sappy into the tumblr void today :D

#i kept... procrastinating........... sorry to everyone who gave me a character for taking so long....#my art #digital #worm #wormblr #i like.. most of these 👍#ive struggled a lot with my alec design but i think im finally starting to get somewhere with him #that specific emma is from arc 5. her dad mentions taylors moms death and taylor lashes out and emma cant help from smiling #so she leans forward on the desk and covers her mouth #the sleeper.... ok so his whole deal is intentionally vague in canon #because someone told wildbow he doesnt need to explain every single deatail about every cape that shows up #so i was able to do whatever the fuck #basically his power is visually described as a not-rainbow storm thats large enough to cover a good chunk of a large city #out of canon wildbow says the only capes whod be able to survive his storm would need to be indestructible or have an impenetrable mind #so i thought yo. i recently watched a video about a short scifi horror story about how certain fractals make people die from looking at the #and the only person who didnt die from seeing the worst one had trained himself by looking at less dangerous fractals #so.. there the sleeper is ig.. a vague figure in the center of a giant fractal mess #i didn't INTEND for aisha to be looking at alec but no harm no foul. its kinda cute #anyway i spent most the day finishing this and now i think i dont wanna draw digitally ever again?

I haven’t heard of it before, what’s it about? Or if that’s a bit much to ask, where could I find more info about it? It seems right up my alley 👀

Ride Kamens is still doing prerelease marketing and isn't out yet; it's set for "early summer 2024", so a bit yet to go! similar to Twst, it's a mobile game about anime boys loosely based on an existing franchise (Kamen Rider), although it seems like it's going to be more standalone/won't require familiarity with Rider going in.

the (very) basic premise is that your player character has just taken over their late father's role as a secret agent, supporting the city's superheroes by running a secret base disguised as a cafe (plus you have a personal butler for some reason) (the reason is because it's amazing). you also have to help the heroes regain their lost memories, and it looks like it'll have a bit of a route/choice aspect there (not romance, just different endings to the character episodes depending on what you do). the details are kinda hard to tell at this point but the characters seem like a really fun bunch; there's definitely big "idiots with emotional problems" energy which I am extremely into.

all the official info is in Japanese only at the moment, but here's the website and the ride_kamens twitter! (though the twitter is sort of overtaken by posts about the AnimeJapan exhibit right now, whoops.) and I believe some people are already planning on doing translations for it too? lots to look forward to! :D
