The whole 10? minute run up to Merlin killing Agravaine in 4x13 is just so so good. Whole rune of pure content.

first we get Merlin calling Kilgharrah as he’s running from Agravaine’s men to get rid of them (I love all dragon lord bits but this is especially epic), Then we get Merlin being like “I can go alone to sort out Agravaine”- and Arthur’s reponse, where he almost says something genuine before copping out- still tells him to be careful, and Merlin playing it off like a joke. And Tristan being like... huh Then we have the wonder of Merlin’s confrontation with Agravaine “oH hElLo” before we get scary tired merlin

Arthur going back for Merlin despite Tristan being like “uh don’t” and Tristan “for a servant?” Agravaine and Merlin’s conversation double mention

and then “I was checking we weren’t being followed” “you were worried about me!” “Ok yes, no not really” wonderful, beauty.
