saying this as respectfully as possible but. Do not put fandom content creators on a pedestal. We are also just fans contributing to a community just as you are. We have boundary on our own work and that’s it. What I say is not and should not be considered sth the whole fandom should listen to. I’m just a normal ass person ranting about things on my blog. If it does not have a fandom tag for others to engage in, do not make it out to be me trying to start fights or addressing the whole community. Because it’s not.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, my art, my lore talk, is biased. I’ve never tried to hide that I view Marika a certain way and will always develop my theory following that base assumption.

Aside from translation stuffs and pointing out in-game items, everything else I say you can look at it, agree or disagree, and move on to form your own opinions. Just because I draw stuffs doesn’t mean you get to saddle me with responsibilities about managing fandom expectations. What the hell? I’m a fan artist, I’m the last person who you should look at for “leaderism” (?) WHAT?

I can and will be a hater in my own space, like I know sometimes other artists will just post their stuffs and not engage too heavily with fandom, and for a while I did try to do that here (because I’m already a dramatic ass on twitter), that’s just not me though.

You will get art and you will get my opinions as well.

Every day I am haunted by the fact JJK could be amazing but it will be just idk Bleach or something

#I've seen a lot of people complaining about the fact that it's impossible to fit the ending of every unfinished arc #in the five chapters that remain for the manga to end for good #And it all just... legitimises my fear and apprehension haha #And it's a pity! It's a pity! The dynamics were so good! And yet nothing! Sukuna was so good! And yet nothing!#It was so nice how he seemed to play with the idea of transcending human categories and values but even the values of curses so to speak #Well beyond everything. Well beyond positive/creative nihilism even! He was not like Mahito #I wonder if Mahito is more a negative nihilism with a funny edge or a positive nihilism. For now it seems positive #with how he seems to have said something like 'nothing matters so we can do whatever we want and create what matters'#But Sukuna transcends all that! It could have been interesting to see how that developed in a way that wasn't just childish edginess #But no. And then there's all the idea of curses and sorcerers not being all that different #and so not really entirely possible to say one side is good and the other bad #There was the idea of the very source of powers with fear and love playing a role here in such a juicy way #And then there's the entire thing happening with Gojo as a concept and the very concepts he plays with which I could eat like an apple #but also I would let those very concepts eat at my heart as a worm inside an apple #Full of holes and rotting inside out and yet delighting at the sweetness #It could all be so good! And yet! Most of the manga is a few sketched dynamics and concepts and a very long fight with Sukuna #promising half finished arcs #WHY it could have been so good. And I don't think criticism is a matter of 'fans being spoiled! Go write your story!' or something #It's not a matter of things not going as fans would want them to be. It's a matter of not writing well #or cohesively things established by the author themselves. And I think that's a fair criticism #If we are to take manga as an art‚ which I wholeheartedly support‚#then we can subject mangas to artistic or literary or whatever you want to call it analysis. There are works that are better constructed #than others‚ and there are works that have good ideas but poor execution. And it's always a pity #In the case of JJK it's truly breaking my heart and the comments I see around about these five last chapters are not helping xD #God it could be so good. So good. And I'm not talking about in specific to me‚ which yes that too given the topics‚#but just so good in general. It could be so good. It could have been so good #And yet it's starting to look more and more like any other shonen. It truly breaks my heart haha #I talk too much #Jujutsu Kaisen #I used Bleach because I think that's one of the mangas that has been the most a let down to the friends I have who like shonen

#photo diary #image 1 - pretty sky!.. so many sky photos as always #2 & 3 - baby son keeping me company during one of my Sickness days where I kind of just sit on the floor in a blanket #for hours slowly sipping pedialyte and having applesauce and such lol #He likes to bite the squeezy apple sauce pouches.. and try to steal the heating pad #4. Sky again. lighter more scattered fluffy clouds.#5 - greeting card that I drew at someone's request so they could send it to their elderly family member lol.. It's like.. cats baking #in a kitchen I guess? My eternal curse.. being the number one lover of cats in the world yet still somehow barely having a grasp #on their anatomy so they always look ridiculous when I draw them. I have both drawn and looked at cats for my entire life basically #yet somehow those two things do not come together to make me a good cat artist.. alas..#6 - underpart of an outfit I did (and havent yet posted of course because of my evil backlog of onemillion drafted posts)#I took the main dress off the top but thought the underneath part looked cool on it's own as well #7 - more sky.#8 - Mushroom fettucini alfredo. steak. and grilled asparagus. A fun little meal for me though I can't remember the occasion. I think maybe #as a reward for getting my covid booster or something. Though I still feel it's not as much of a reward when I am personally cooking #everything myself at home gjhbjh.. so its like... I'm having to do quite a lot of labor which makes it feel less relaxing I suppose. but eh #a treat in some form. Still cheaper by overall cost than ordering from a restaurant - and also can be customized and prepared #exactly how I like - which is the point. I guess more I just wish I weren't the only cooking person in the house. Everyone could #take turns making special meals for each other rather than like.. ''hmm I feel like having a treat. suppose I shall spend an hour #making it all myself and then feel tired whilst eating it'' lol.. ANYWAY #9 - and then.. you guessed it..MORE sky pictures!!! This time pinky bluey and so on.. huzzah..#A very sky heavy entry into the photo diaries I suppose #The sky in the 1st/7th image is jsut very ethereal seeming to me. something about the way the lighting is behind the clouds. It's #transportive. An interesting sky will make me feel like many other places in time or things I've seen in dreams or something. You get #a sense of being in a different world or like you're looking out over something you once imagined whilst reading a storybook. maybe lol

But there's so much mystery behind Sportacus, his upbringing, and the 9 previous heroes before him. We don't really know anything about it but it seems to be (at least among fans) passed down GENERATIONALLY through a family tree, and you gotta imagine it's something that's trained into them from a young age.

Idk I was just watching the show and thinking about how sweet and playful Sportacus is 🥺🥺💖💖 he's always going along with the kids' games and such, it kinda makes me wonder if he likes to join them because he didn't really have anyone to play with while he was growing up.

#wanting to be on here so much more often but im so anxious about the current state of the world and trying to get a job #i get rejection after rejection and my parents are literally talking behind my back and are recommending me jobs that just need a hs diploma #or they think im not applying #and then theres these two equal and opposing forces: one who is so scared of moving far far far away from home and wants to stay in the #familiar forever. and the other side wants to gtfo and make something of life #my brain is just so loud and i feel like such a failure all the time and my parents are only making me feel worse #it shouldn't be this fucking hard to get a job in bioengineering. it's fucking engineering #and back to the parent thing... i wouldn't be this upset if they weren't so pushy. in this job market it takes approx 6 months for new grads #to get a job #it hasn't even been two months #ik they want what's best. but i feel so belittled #i feel belittled by everything these days like it takes me forever to respond to messages and i feel so depressed #maybe i just need a good cry but i truly am just so stuck and i wish future me could grab me by the shoulders and tell me it's gonna fucking #be ok and just relax #i just dont see anything good happening for me in the future #negativity tw #apple lady words

My boyfriend and I made dinner together for his parents since im staying with them for 9 days over the holidays and there were some hairy spots but we did really well together and I have to say. I freaked it

#Martha Stewart kale and apple salad never misses #both him and his mum took third helpings and they both don’t like Dijon or raw garlic #Adam made the garlic bread #the lasagna recipe is the our favourite lasagna from Epicurious with Italian sausage and a basil ricotta #it’s one of the lightest and freshest tasting lasagnas I’ve ever had and his dad could not stop talking about it #it looks so wet going into the oven but set perfectly #also my hot tip for good lasagna noodles is instead of boiling them you soak them in hot tap water for twenty minutes then layer as usual #don’t use no boil

#Wow. Okay ♡#I love this episode. The animation is flawless. The drawings quality is out of the world for real.#I love this episode so much I'm so grateful so much care and dedication went to this sskk centered episode.#(Refraining to talk about what 5x03 could have been)#Sorry for repeating myself but seriously the illustrations this episode are so so pretty.#I rarely appreciate how Akutagawa is drawn in the anime but when it comes with this episode I really like how he looks too.#And Atsushi that I already like a lot in the anime on average‚ this episode is just fabulous. Handsome even.#Seriously I don't know who the animators are but I want to kiss them. This art style is one I dare say I like even more than Dead Apple–#that although is obviously more detailed is just... In comparison too rough for my personal taste?#The art style for this episode is very delicate and soft and I love it tons #And the directing is just great. No weird pacing or awkward ost choice. It's neat.#The reiterated placing ss/kk on opposite sides is neat. The lightening is likeable and especially the purple scene is super pretty.#The “don't compare me to him” scene is neat. The ss/kk final scene is AMAZING. It's gorgeous and stunning and awestriking and every other–#epitome in the world. It's like the only scene I believe turned out better in the anime that it is in the manga which is saying SO MUCH.#But it's really that good!!!!! My favourite anime ss/kk scene ever.#Aaaaaahhh please let me talk about it forever it's sooo pretty and especially poignant...#The heaven-like soft yellow light and how it contrasts with the bleak stormy background. But especially their softening features...#Man that scene. okay. Akutagawa's quiet surprise!!!! That scene is. Idk. Unfortunately chapter 88 exists–#but it's nearly the most romantic thing ever.#I'll leave it at this. It's not like the bsd animation suddenly became a masterpiece and this is still an episode–#I would say I like less than my least liked k/l/k episode (Trigger animation my beloved). The idea that a god-like character with (supposedly) unlimited powers should snap their fingers at the end of a TV series and remove all pain and terrible things in the world so humans no longer had any suffering is the most BAFFLING thing I have ever heard. WHY DID THE SHOW EVER EXIST IF FIXING THINGS WAS THAT EASY??????

#It seems like this 'gotcha' card that overrides any argument someone could have #but it's actually the laziest zero thought behind it belief I have ever seen #And it complete ignores the function and structure of a story #Holy shit #Like... that's literally Adam and Eve before Eve ate the apple #That kind of utopia is literally in the Bible and in general is considered bad #It was certainly painted as bad in the show! Because Eve gave us free will and choice and the opportunity to self-determine who we are #And that's good! That's considered better than the Garden of Eden!#And yes choices have led to the godawful structures in place on Earth today and all the godawful death and suffering that goes with it #BUT THIS STUPID LITTLE TV SHOW ABOUT THE DEVIL WASN'T SPEAKING ABOUT ALL THE EVILS IN THE WORLD!!!#It was talking about how you always have a choice to do better! That everyone can be redeemed!#It's a much MUCH narrower scope because that's what story does! It picks one thing and speaks to it #And sometimes that thing is indeed Wow modern capitalism has completely fucked the world like The Good Place showed #But even The Good Place didn't use the Judge to snap her fingers and change Earth #She could have! She certainly had the power too!#But no instead they argued against wiping out the entire Earth and starting over in favor of revamping the afterlife instead #to allow people a second chance and support to do better #Which is EXACTLY where Lucifer ended up too with the titular character playing therapist in Hell #That is a strong ending! That is a hopeful ending! Because it's speaking to the audience as individuals and saying you have a choice #You always have a choice to do better. No mistake you make is too irredeemable so don't let yourself drown guilt #because guilt fixes nothing. Only your choice to try again can change things #God snapping their fingers and rewriting Earth is not a hopeful; realistic; or satisfying ending to a 6 season show about free will!#It makes no sense!#like jfc I don't want to drag one singular person through the mud but their opinions are just so mind-boggingly to me #It's like beating my head against the wall

2) the privacy erosion has become the normalized state of existence for the average person for the last 10 fucking years at least, its snuck in, they disguise it as Convenient Features to Help You Shop Better, and thats IF they bother telling you theyre doing it, instead of just opting all your shit in without asking, its so fucking normalized that yeah, a lot of people do not bother to question it, they just sigh in resignation and go, yeah, i guess, do i even have other options? and they do, but theyre an investment of learning and time you dont have capacity for at the moment, or maybe you do but you feel like you dont bc it feels like a bigger hurdle than it is, and computer stuff is already kind of intimidating, cos man, what if you hit the wrong thing and brick your expensive ass machine? easier to just let it data harvest, you guess, it cant be THAT bad, can it? plenty of people live like this, put up with this, seek this out, its easier not to resist the privacy erosion. fucking whatever, i guess. yeah, i guess twitter i mean X, or walmart, or facebook, can just have all of my contact info and my phone number and my birthday and phone contacts and bank information and fuck it, give them my ssn while im at it. less effort later. this is just how tech has been for the last 10 yrs. no one can effectively get rage clicks on this topic anymore bc we all fucking know. it sucks and we know. what do you want me to fucking do about it? i have other shit to deal with more urgently. etc

why is there no actually good music app :/

like i’m using apple music and most of it works okay but the search function sucks so bad and i considered switching to spotify a while ago so i tried that out for a bit but holy shit the user interface sucks so much. the only good thing there are the user created playlists

and why youtube music and amazon music suck is obvious probably lol
