"Huh?" A confused voice rang through your room.

It didn't take you long to realize that it was just Simon. He stood in your doorway with an almost observant look on his face, and that made you quite cautious, too.

"Simon?" You murmured underneath your breath.

He took a few steps closer to you, causing you to sit up on the edge of your bed. His brows furrowed as he towered over you with a small sniff.

His wandering eyes met yours before he leaned down to nuzzle into the crook of your neck, your body relaxing with the familiarity of the warmth from his body. His nose brushed against your pulse point, causing your eyes to widen.

"When did ya change your soap?" His question made you pause. Was that really the first thing he'd noticed?

"Um, just today. I couldn't buy my usual one, I've been busy and it ran out...I'll probably go and buy it again in a few days."

He hummed in reply, backing away to give you your personal space back.

"I liked tha' old one better," Simon mumbled, though it was a bitter lie. Everything looks and smells good on ya, he longed to say.

"What's the brand? I'll buy it fo' ya."

"Oh please, you don't need to—"

"Don't give me tha' bullshit. C'mon, spit it out, love."

With a reluctant sigh, you did as he told you. And for the first time in your life, you thought—maybe being spoiled wasn't that bad.

Is it just me or is it kinda annoying (and disrespectful) when showrunners constantly say that some of their queer characters just aren't 'into labels'

And I find that this happens a lot more with female characters than male ones.

And here's the whole series. I'm kinda proud of myself - when they all put together I can see the amount of work - and I love my characters a lot. :) Now, I wonder, which one is your favorite? My personal favorite is 2nd - I think I did Lyra justice with those wings. Since this is gonna be a long post anyway, I'm gonna add a few sketches for some of them below.

Last one was an alternative variant for the 10th piece but I imagined that people would misinterpret it BAD so I decided to draw another one. I still like this sketch, however, maybe I'll finish it with lineart or sth like that. And another sketch also had Devil in it but since this piece was more focused on emptiness, I just erased him. Well now you know he was there. And about the knife... now you know who did that, too. After holidays I want to update my lore post a bit so stay tuned for that :]

Puritanical shit like this is censorship and control packaged in a way that hypocrites will get on board with.

The point of censorship like this is controlling people, keeping them ignorant, and suppressed.

Famously banning swaths of books is considered a BAD thing.

Oklahoma is attempting to pass a bill that would ban explicit romance novels. Authors, narrators, and sellers could all face fines of up to $100,000 and up to 10 years in jail for each instance.

If you live in OK, call your representative and tell them this bill should not be allowed to pass.

This is likely a test case. Republicans will try to pass it in OK and if it passes other states will likely try to pass similar laws.

In the meantime, get physical copies of books you like. Download those pdfs. Archive your AO3 stories and keep them on a physical hard drive. (Storing those files in the cloud could be problematic in the future as the company managing the cloud service can see what your files are)

basically all animals: evolve in such a way that their backs will forever be itchy and bond to some extent with anything that alleviates that itchiness primates: evolve to feel an instinctive soothing sensation when they groom another animal, as well as a tendency to packbond with anything that lets them do this conservationists: "please don't pet the animals. Not just because we don't want to have to clean your half-eaten corpse out of the road if you piss them off, but also because we don't want to have to deal with *even more bears and alligators* breaking into human population centers because they want back scratches and a snack"
