In my imagination, Toy is the shortest one

(Although anthropomorphic)

and the other Buzz is the height of a normal man (maybe 1.8 meters?).

Woody was surprised that Buzz in different worlds wasn't so short

Izzy thinks her otherworldly captain is cute (Buzz doesn't seem to think so).

Light Year Buzz is a little scared and wary of the alien in front of him (warp can see that it's not his Buzz).

While on our way to see Barbarian this week we did stop in for a couple of pick-ups. I did get a 4K copy of Disney/Pixar’s Lightyear for a movie that apparently no one liked it sold pretty quickly being I got the last 4K copy at Wal-Mart. Also when we were leaving we stopped into toys and I found the HW Screen Time Armadillo that I was looking for to go with the movie which made me extremely happy of course.

So yes we finally went to see Disney/Pixar's Lightyear at the first mention of this movie I didn't understand why they were doing it? a Buzz Lightyear origin story didn't we already have that? Wasn't that what the the animated series was about?

but the thing is this isn't an origin story in the classic sense of the idea. This is suppose to be the movie that the boy Andy from Toy Story watched that made him a fan of the character that the Toy is based on in the First Toystory movie. and when I found this out the idea of this movie made total sense to me now the opening text at the very start explains that by saying something like “In 1995 Andy got a toy. That toy is from his favorite movie. This is that movie.”

Well first there wasn't any cups or buckets or anything like that for this which was surprising the only thing they that was a few fleecy Lightyear blankets which I wasn't too interested in.

Now as for the movie itself I thought it was great!! the animation for it of course was amazing I thought there was some really nice action in this and it had alot of funny moments and some sadness like one scene around the first of the movie got me right in the feels also there was a nice jump in there too one scene startled me and I jumped being I wasn't expecting it.

the story is basically Buzz and crew are on there way back from a mission in the "Turnip" (its a running joke being the ship is shaped like a Turnip) and they stop at a unknown planet to investigate and then have to leave quickly which causes Buzz to crash the Turnip and marooning everyone on the planet while Buzz and his team try to figure away to get everyone off the planet and back home again.

There is alot of Toy Story references you can see why Buzz in Toy Story especially the first one acted the way he did.

I thought Chris Evans was great as this version of Buzz Lightyear I think it worked perfectly

also you are introduced to plenty of new, different and interesting characters which I thought were great.

especially his robotic companion Sox I absolutely loved the character of Sox I want a Sox just like he is in the movie he was one of the best things about this movie. I could say if they were selling plushies of Sox at the theater I would have totally bought one when we were leaving the theater

Now as for the apparent controversies I don't understand why ppl are hating on this movie and claiming that it is "extremely woke" or that it is some how one of the wokest movies ever. I don't get it? I don't see why you would hate this movie so much? also how is it woke?

also in regards to the over blown kiss scene when they do the whole same sex kiss its like a second like totally blink and you'll miss it. and I thought "that's it?" that is what everyone was complaining about? its stupid to complain about that it was like ppl were making it out to be like they were full on making out but it is a tiny lil peck nothing more ppl are crazy for complaining about this.

So yeah I thought the movie was great the other couple of ppl I went with liked it too and thought it was great also. So I would recommend it to ppl if you want to see it then go see it

Also yes there are some credit scenes too that relate to some of the jokes in the movie.
