All weather fighter - for an aircraft that was quite hard to fly in bad weather it is remarkable that the RAF based the Lightning at Binbrook which probably had the worst weather in uk !

I would like to begin this by asking that we all collectively ignore the hand anatomy (lmao) and the first sketch is likely to never be finished so you get this unfinished version in which Stein cut off his nipples for science and somehow managed to find a way to leave no scars

And here’s a translation for both, though they ever so slightly differ from one another:

“Marieee/Marie. I want a cigarette. I need a cigarette. Give m-“

“And I want you to be alive!”

Both of these were sparked by Marie canonically withholding smoking from Stein, as well as the fact that Marie had mentioned how she couldn’t bring anymore of her things into his laboratory because he’d throw a fit. Though the first one was also sparked by my thought process pertaining to her implied caring for Stein when his ability to function was impaired. I wondered how much she’d ended up helping him with, and whether that could even include hygiene and such.

But anyway. This is your reminder that, while she was likely exaggerating a little, Stein canonically gets a bit whiny and will apparently throw tiny fits over particular happenings, such as what you could consider his space being taken over and changed. I applied his apparent (not necessarily frequent) tendency towards being a bit of a fussy pathetic meow meow (lmao, “pathetic meow meow” is amusing to me) to his withdrawal from smoking- and that shit is physically painful, so who wouldn’t be a little whiny haha. I actually have a whole fic I’m writing dedicated to that assistance she gave him as well as the whole “he’ll throw a fit.”

Sketch and line! I like to do this. You can also see the pencil in the final coloring. I did a lot of erasing. It will simply have to be dealt with.
