All LightningClan cats can agree that Darkstar was the best choice for leader, especially after that fateful night. While she had never had ambitions of leadership, Darkstar has managed to salvage the remaining cats into a functioning clan once again. Although she's leader, she much prefers to offer a kind smile and let her clanmates take the spotlight.

Greenrain was a senior warrior at the founding of LightningClan, but seeing that there were no other options, he took up the position of deputy. The events that destroyed their former clan still haunt him, however, causing this deputy to fear for their stability. Due to their nervous natures, Greenrain and Rowanpaw have formed a bond, both finding solace that they're not the only anxious cats.

Barely old enough to earn her name, Lightback has become the sole medicine cat for LightningClan. Naturally gifted at caring for cats, Lightback falls into her role quite well; she has especially become close with Dovekit, forming a motherly bond with the kit. Lightback is also quite popular with the rest of the Clan, as most cats find it incredibly easy to get along with her.

Dragon of the Week 7/1

New month ahead of us and Brightshine Jubilee coming to a close, this dragon of the week is Molt! (She/Xe)

"Despite what most would originally believe, Molt mostly reads fiction. She adores the many fantastical stories within, and exploring the depth of dragon imagination. Perhaps there are real worldly truths to be found, in the lands of whimsy." (lore blurb written by Ozeatetsor)

Molt is the Everbloom Grove's Light Rep! Xe and her Lightback Slink, Phosis(She/It) are the main(and currently only) voice for the Lightweaver in the Grove, and the two take their job verrry seriously.

On top of the usual Light-aligned hoard of scrolls and tablets, Molt also likes to collect spoons, and does Tarot readings on the side for her fellow dragons! Her favorite book genre is Mysteries.

I finally have all 11 slinks!

i had to spend some pretty cash to get that lightback slink, but it was worth it!

hopefully i'll be able to make some of it again with month's festival currency?

Had a realization that Lightweaver just really, really likes spheres, huh?

-Spheres are all over the Lightweaver’s Domain scene.

-The new Light Aura apparel is made up entirely of glowing spheres.

-Sunguard Chest, Sun Chaser Jewelry, Luminous Legguards, Luminous Sundrapes, and Solar Blades all have spheres or almost-spheres somewhere in the design.

-The Light sprite, Shining Goblin, Luminous Ambassador, Shining Cancer, Marble Lightweaver, and Lightback Slink are all holding spheres, or have spheres as part of their body.

-The Sunsea Pseudo is a recolor of the Wavebreak Snarler, so both are surrounded by bubbles… which are spherical.

-The Sunbeam soldier has some almost-spheres floating around them.

-Pearlcatchers, one of the breeds created by the Lightweaver, hold pearls that are physical manifestations of their souls, and also spherical.

Lightweaver REALLY loves spheres.
