in all honesty, as their own seperate things, The Turner’s are okay but they pale in comparison to the Yagami’s

Was watching Netflix's adaptation of Death Note yesterday to dunk on it with friends, and it just occurred to me that Light "Turner" is just Xander from BTVS but somehow even more incompetent.

Worst part about the 2017 Netflix movie version of Light is that I want to hate his hair so bad I want to make fun of it but like. Stones. Glass houses. I like that look and have had it myself multiple times over the years. This is horrible

but the first Death Note content I ever consumed was that white washed movie

and I enjoyed it

until I watched the anime where I was horrified by what the Americans had done
