College Student!Chongyun

Inspired by the song 'Boyfriend' by K-pop group Boyfriend

Imagine being a bedraggled senior to this overachieving Yang energy abundant baobei who only ever wants to look out for you whenever he could.

❄️Chongyun's an IT Student who majors in Game Development and so he doesn't really have much of a need with the orthodox study materials of books and papers. He only ever has a laptop that he leaves on campus and otherwise just carries around in his arms.

❄️He's a rather famous junior because of his soft looks and his equally gentle character.

❄️Mostly dresses lazily in hoodies, jumpers, sweats and loafers.

❄️Pulled a late nighter because of a term paper? Boy already waiting for you at the university gates with a cup of your favourite coffee in hand and a coy smile on his face.

"Ah, jie, I heard that you'd been working on your term paper all night? Here, I got you your coffee. I wish I could be half as diligent as you are once it's my turn to make those papers!"

❄️A dreary day in class? Your boy's already hanging right outside the wall near your window seat to pull funny faces to cheer you up.

❄️Got all those books you need to haul around? Popsicle boy gets a tote bag just for you, it's his tote though, for carrying your things.

🔹Your friends notices this and points out how the junior was notorious for never bringing a bag to school and living off on borrowed pens and papers from his studious academic scholar of a best pal Xingqui without whom he'd pretty much have failed in class since day one.

🔹Chongyun never needed the bags, the pens or the books, he's a practical learner- and a relatively fast one at that, this you both know of.

🔹So you're also equally as surprised to see him carrying a tote bag, of all things.

🔹You give him a surprise bag inspection™ which leads you to know the exact purpose of the thing because it was empty.

"Chongyun, is it your exams week? That's why you're carrying a bag? Is there a calculator in there? Would you mind if I borrow it- hold on, why is it empty?"

"You never told me you needed a calculator, jie. Next time you'd want me to bring something shoot me a message, yea? As of now it's empty because- ah, yes, those books of yours, let me carry them!"

🔹Needless to say henceforth a scientific calculator had found its rightful place in that bag of his.

❄️He'd also bring extra shirts in there for his gym classes, one of which you'd snagged after a dreadful wardrobe malfunction. He then proceeds to bring one on a daily basis for emergencies.

❄️Xingqui slapped a custom-made Spotify qr patch on the fabled tote as a prank, Chongyun never noticed but you did and so you scanned it and-

Boyfriend booms on your Bluetooth speakers (that so happened to be turned up full-blast courtesy of your deaf dance club members) as Chongyun cheerily jogs up to you with the brightest of smiles on his face- he was just about to regale you with the news of his A+ research paper when he notices the song, the lyrics, the looks on your friends' faces and then Xingqui's conniving little grin-

The literature major had been tormenting him with the same song for well over a month now along with the constant jibes of "So when are you asking her out? It's a surprise really, with how much you're fussing over her everyone's thinking you already are,"

"You started bringing a bag with you for goodness' sakes!"

❄️Chongyun never understood the deal with him bringing a bag like every other student does. Like he doesn't understand labels with relationships among quite a number of even more pressing things.

❄️But he always does his absolute best to be good, and he thinks it's enough. Which of course concerns you to great lengths because more than once had you seen him been taken advantage of because of this.

🔹Xingqui and you made a bond out of bitch-slapping those who dared one-up the pure boy.

❄️You would fondly refer to him as Little Ducky as he used to follow you around during his first days in campus. His parents knew yours and so they left Chongyun to your care during his freshman year.

🔹 Unbeknownst to you, he would use the nickname he treasures most for all the computer games he got to playing with his friends. It ceases to be a secret when Xingqui decides to livestream one of their game nights and makes it a point to call Chongyun out on every single thing that he does- good and bad.

"Lil Ducky your aim's a little off."

"Lil Ducky med kit med kit- MED KIT!!!"

"Nice shot, Lil Ducky!"

"Lil Ducky DUCKKKK!!!"

Xiao drops off early game in annoyance.

Hu Tao's giggles drowns out Chongyun's groans of embarrassment.

Hellaur, I recently just found your blog and it's so good. Like honestly I'm going through you masterlists over and over hehe. Anyways, will there be a part 2 to the teapot hcs? It's just so cool 😭💙. Well, in any case, please take this as my shameless ask for a part 2 😭🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

Serenitea Pot Club (Electro, Cryo)

synopsis: AU where vision holders can enter shared teapots of their respective element.

note: yes!! i brainrot about this a lot in my mind 😭 im just a big fan of found family and people from different nations meeting each other- HEIFHJEJXS may or may not make drabble fics out of these

Electro Teapot (Ei, Yae, Sara, Beidou, Keqing, Fischl, Lisa, Razor)

Honestly such a calm and poised group.

The first few meetings in the teapot were enjoyed with afternoon tea or coffee, a good stack of light novels or academia books.

It's like a women's book club

Somehow, Razor stumbled into the little teapot late (he didn't really know how to get in the thing and frankly, it scared him)

He was only able to figure it out when Lisa wondered why he never visited.

Honestly, mentor Lisa is such a mom; she already scouted the teapot for areas Razor would like to nap in, and even brought basic education books he could read to practice on his words

I headcanon that everyone just loves Razor

He's like this little wolf pup that appears in their book club, gets crowded on and they coo at him

Razor may or may not be scared of Yae though. He thinks she smells weird, like a fox but also a youkai, and that scares him

It's mostly curiosity though! So when he discovers that Yae isn't a threat, he warms up to her quite fast

Yae is much like Lisa, teaching him how to read by bringing books from her own publishing house.

In an amusing twist, Razor reminds Miko of Ei a lot. They're both kind of ditzy and clueless to human culture, it's just adorable!

Fischl treats Razor the same, since they're already good friends! They tell Bennett all about their teapot experiences (to which the pyro user whines, also wanting to share the same teapot with them but he's surrounded by a handful of chaotic girls and a child terrorist)

Fischl and Sara bonds over birds and arrows. I like to think Sara can keep up with Fischl's imagination, just because Sara plays a somewhat fantasy role in an authoritarian rule!

Beidou is the cool aunt to the motherly-ness towards Razor. She brings in alcohol from time to time, which everyone lowkey likes to enjoy overlooking the view at night.

Keqing tries bringing in her work, to which Lisa and Yae would make a strict rule of no paperwork in the teapot.

Overall, Razor usually feels overwhelmed in the teapot, but he can't really complain when Lisa tells him this is what having family feels like!

Cryo Teapot (Kaeya, Rosaria, Eula, Ganyu, Shenhe, Chongyun, Ayaka, Qiqi, Diona)

Please, if Razor feels overwhelmed in the electro teapot, then Chongyun just feels really awkward in his.

It took him a while to decide to enter, Xingqiu had to encourage him by using the cryo teapot as a good place to cool himself.

In the end, he probably jumps in after knowing his own aunt joined the teapot. If an antisocial person like Shenhe can do it, then so can he!

Probably brings Qiqi along with him just to show her around as well (Qiqi doesn't really mind or care where she goes, so it isn't exactly kidnapping?)

Kaeya and Rosaria have already settled in their own little bar area, enjoying the drinks and mixes.

Kaeya is also probably responsible for bringing Eula in. She wasn't so sure how to react with meeting other people, but she quickly takes regular visits when she finds out the others don't exactly know or care about her last name!

Ganyu probably brought Shenhe in too, she was a little shy to invite the other but it worked! After all, the teapot is an adepti relic. They both want to enjoy these as much as possible!

I feel like Ayaka would make great friends with everyone, and in an odd twist, she fits in well with Kaeya and Rosaria! (Ayato and Thoma get a little worried when she relays to them about her new nun friend that drinks and a man with open chest fashion though...)

Diona finds Qiqi odd at first. She peeks at the little zombie and just narrows her eyes curiously.

Qiqi makes the first move to befriend Diona (not intentionally, Qiqi just introduces herself but Diona somehow decided she likes her then and there! Qiqi doesn't drink, after all, unlike the two disgusting cryo allogenes by the bar)

Qiqi brings Diona herbs to add to her weird mixes, which Diona in turn gives to Rosaria and Kaeya

Hear this but... Drinking nights.

They're supposed to be dinner nights but when you have your own amazing cat bartender, why not drink!

It's even more fun when they encourage the others to take sips (no one's forced, of course, but the mood is just so lively they'd want to go along!)

Qiqi just stares at finches with a small smile, she likes to hear everyone laugh

Diona tries to get everyone to hate her drinks

Ayaka takes a few sips, probably gets cheered on after a particularly hard shot (later, Ayato's worries would increase)

Chongyun actually enjoys his cold mix, tries his best not to drink too much. He doesn't want to embarrass himself!

Shenhe can hold her liquor incredibly well.

Eula is, of course, an adorable type of drunk

Ganyu can't really get drunk as an adeptus so she does her best to watch over everyone!

Ohhh this sounds so fun! So here's my submition.

I'm an introverted gemini currently majoring in anthropology and the reluctant mom friend of my friend group. I come off as closed and distant at first and it takes some time for me to open up, but I'm very caring of my friends and family. I love spending time with them and joking around, though I do value my alone time. Considering that, my biggest pet peeve is when someone is overly clingy. I consider myself as kind and easy going, though I can be quite moody sometimes. I have a bit of a dark sense of humor and love using sarcasm. A few of my hobbies are journaling, baking and watching ghibli films. I'm also especially interested in horror literature, poetry and art in general. I'm very into the dark academia style, adapted to work on a small budget and hot climate. I love visiting museums and bookshops and traveling whenever is possible. I'm very prone to stress, have a habit of pacing and cracking my knucles and hate noisy places. I'm also addicted to caffeine. A big part of my time is spent either studying or spoiling my pet cat

It allows for quick movements from your side, striking close attackers until you build enough energy to unleash ANCIENT MOMENTS, causing glacial ruins to erupt from your surroundings and bury enemies as they sink back under.

One of the first people to not only see your potential in academics but see through your facade and treat you as any other was LISA MINCI, who practically raised you in her library. Your age gap isn’t big enough for your friendship to seem out of place, and she’s more of an older sister to you than anything else. Whenever you come back to Mondstadt, she’s always waiting for you with a hot cup of tea and an unwavering eagerness to hear of your discoveries.

However, she isn’t the only one. You bumped into XINGQIU during one of your stays in Liyue and have been well acquainted ever since. To him and CHONGYUN, you’re the cool older sister, and here you can let loose and simply enjoy yourself, not just as an academic, not as a Lawrence, but just as you are. They, as well as KOJOU SARA, another close friend from a different nation with similar familiar experiences to you, are featured on your banner, EVERWINDING PAST.

People often wonder how someone who seems so distant and comes from such a scandalous past can be found baking treats with friends on days off or venturing through cities with careless youth. But then again, the people who possess the gift of cryo are never as straightforward as they seem, and you have set yourself the mission to follow the past’s footprints as well as you can, despite never liking your own. Maybe, you ponder, that is exactly why.

Albedo is very dark academia! Well. He's light academia. So is Sucrose. That aesthetic fits them both really really well.

Xiao and alternative or skater boy, Venti is cottagecore. Change my mind! I believe Diluc is dark academia.

Xingqiu would be royalcore with chongyun. Xinyan would be alternative for sure. She already is. She dresses pretty modern for genshin but it still fits the universe.
