It case you haven’t heard the Spotted Lantern Fly is in the Eastern Pennsylvania area These two photos are of two separate Lantern flies. Scroll right for more pics. They were taken in Pennsburg, Pa Montgomery County, on the golf course. They are very dangerous,from Asia and decimate local crops, like grapes and timber. I managed to kill both flies. 💀 they jump more than fly so swatting them out of the air is easy. Saw this beauty at one of my local garden centers that I frequent. It’s a Cercis canadensis, Eastern Redbud Red Sunset. I fell in love instantly! This years tree! The theme is woodland elegance! I always change up the theme from year to year, the star is always on the top but usually accented with different florals.
