This resting thing isn’t what I had planned. I feel lazy and wasteful of time when I rest. * I’ve been feeling so incredibly discouraged about my pain lately. Lots of crying and feeling inept and useless. Lots of, “Why the hell did this happen to me?!” and “What did I do wrong?!” * So here I am existing and just trying to let go, because right now I’m physically limited and I need to accept that. Summer Camp, with a Twist

Imagine your traditional summer camp. Now imagine what it would look like if the entire experience was centered around teaching young people about their own reproductive health. This week, our partner, Reach a Hand, Uganda, is holding its annual Youth Health Camp, where close to 700 young people from across East Africa are coming together to learn about their own health and gain skills to become champions of reproductive rights in their own communities.
