Are you scared about httyd 3? Cause I am. It used to be a happy escape but it seems to be getting darker and darker. I don't want this happy feeling to be ruined.

If anything I'm scared it won't live up to the others and have a good, solid ending for the franchise. I wouldn't worry about it being dark though. Dean (or someone else at dwa) already said httyd 2 will be the darkest. If my predictions are making it seem dark it's probably because I want to see the film be more mature. Like the movies and books are about growing up and all this responsibility that comes with it. I know that doesn't necessarily mean make the movie darker, but I want to see hiccup and toothless have to make tough decisions. And I'm a sucker for angst

Becoming a woman in Zanskar. Imagine that you lived in the mountains. Not any mountains, the mountains of Northern Himalaya. You were housed in one of those tiny houses once chalk white, now fairly smoked, glued to the steep outer surface of the bleak stone. The land is put to sleep, tucked in massive snow beds for nine months of the year. This is a different world. The world of the Zanskar region. It is up in the clouds and protecting itself with brusque icicles from change. There are few who know it, who stayed for the land to tame them. Why did I chose this username: I think it suits me better than my previous one (rose-merida) and it has two of the princesses I like most (Aurora (Briar Rose) and Belle). It also highlights the fact Aurora used to be called Rose like me and that’s Grimm’s Sleeping Beauty’s name, not to mention I identify quite a bit with her. ^^ I think I would probably be Sleeping Beauty if I were a princess.
