โ€ข ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป โ€ข 26.09.2017 : Tuesday : Lunch : Homecook โ€ข Stir Fried Fuzzy Melon ๐Ÿ‰ with Dried Shrimp ๐Ÿค in Chilli ๐ŸŒถ Lime ๐Ÿ‹ Sauce โ€ข Thai inspired stir fried fuzzy melon. I don't have green papaya to make Som Tum so I thought I try using fuzzy melon ๐Ÿ˜† โ€ข It's not crunchy as what you get in green papaya or green mango salad ๐Ÿฅ— but it sure is appetising for me. โ€ข #lifeasmrsyeocooksrecipe ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ Stir Fried Fuzzy Melon with Dried Shrimp in Chilli Lime Sauce Ingredients: 1 small fuzzy melon (peeled and julienne) A handful of dried shrimp (rinsed) 100ml is water (A) Juice of 3 Thai lime 4 cloves garlic (minced)** 3 bird eye chilli (cut into small pieces) 2 tbsp fish sauce 1/2 tsp sugar **reduce garlic if you do not like garlic too much. As the garlic will not be cooked, the dish will be a little garlicky. Or, you may stir fry the garlic in step 2 instead. _____________________________________________ Method: 1. Mix (A) together in a mixing bowl and set aside. 2. Heat some oil in a pan, add dried shrimp, stir fry until fragrant. Add fuzzy melon, stir fry until soft, about 5 minutes. Add water and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. 3. Transfer to plate, drizzle with sauce and mix throughly. It can be served hot or chilled. โ€ข #lifeasmrsyeocooks #recipe #food #foodporn #foodsg #foodlover #foodstagram #foodpoc #sgfood #sgfoodies #fooddiary #instafood #homecooked #simplehomecooked #onourtable #lifeasmrsyeocooksstirfriedfuzzymelonwithdriedshrimpinchillilimesauce #lifeasmrsyeocooksvegetable #lifeasmrsyeocooksweekdaygreenlunch #fuzzymelon #stirfriedfuzzymelon #lunch #thaistyle #thaiinspired (at Singapore)
