this post is going to focus on law of assumption techniques. since there are a lot out there, I figured creating this post will help in knowing which techniques suit u and for what situations to use.
btw, you can find my routine for manifesting here. now, let's begin!
🫧 building ur self concept (sc)
creating a new identity or theme around yourself where you know you are powerful, limitless, and worthy of all your desires.
this is more of a framework than a technique since it relies on different techniques, such as affirming and journaling to acheive it.
I think it is worth mentioning improving your sc cos I believe that it is the foundation of powerful manifesting, yeah some might say "you don't need a high self concept to manifest" & I am not here to disagree w u but consider this: u believing that ur sc doesn't matter is literally part of you sc so u are essentially affirming for sc every time you say that
"you don't need a high sc to manifest" is equivelant to "I am enough as I am" and "I deserve everything I want, just because," which are sc affirmations.
🪷 use this if you wanna
work through your limiting beliefs
instead of having to affirm for sp, friends, family, etc. all the time, why not fix your self concept around love and step into your worth once and for all?
become an automatic manifestor of good things
think of successful people who've never heard of loa, how did they do it? they built an amazing sc about themselves. that is what we call confidence or charisma.
become happier, more confident, and stable/at peace
also, improving one's self concept is a foundation of therapy, coaching, and other non-loa disciplines that are concerned with improving one's life
🫧 affirming & affirmation tapes
repeating postive statements through thinking them, saying them (affirming), or hearing them (tapes). could be done with focus / feelings (focused affriming) or without (robotic affirming).
🪷 use this if you wanna
focus on a specfic desire & aligning to it
sc is general & that's great, but affirming is better if you wanna be specific
reprogram both the conscious and the subconscious
this method helps reprogram the subconscious through repetition but also your conscious through discipline and observing your thoughts meticulously
regulate your nervous system + be reminded that you already have it
I will talk more about regulation later, but affirmations can help you when you are feeling anxious or doubt since they divert your focus and serve as a good reminder of that which is true.
use an effortless way to manifest
affirmations are the easiest method to try because you can do it anywhere, anytime, and anyone can use them (if you have trouble visualising)
🫧 mirror work
basically you face a mirror and speak your affrimations, typically done around topics such as self worth/love
can be done using a timer or a pre prepared script or for however long you want
🪷 use this if you wanna
build your relationship with yourself
mirror work is one of the most effective ways to build your foundation of self love. it will help you get used to how you look, your smile. & it will also build your confidence
speaking the affirmations while facing yourself creates a deep connection with yourself and the words you speak. I really can't reccomend it enough cos each session will have you feeling more loved, limitless, & grateful
work on your self concept
since mirror work deals with self love & confidence topics, it really helps build your self concept.
and ofc you can speak your desires affirmations when doing mirror work, but even that feels different. it will feel like speaking worth and confidence into yourself, which ultimately builds your self concept! (esp. in that specific area of manifesting, for example money, love, beauty, etc.)
feel your affirmations
you don't have to feel them real, but it does make things easier/faster. speaking to the mirror helps the affirmations actually reach you + makes them feel personal
🫧 subliminals
they are affirmations layered over another sound so they become inaudible & pass right through to your subconscious mind
🪷 use this if you wanna
have 'unrealistic' & fast results
since this technique deals with your subconscious mind which readily accepts whatever it is given, the results are much faster & mindblowing
listen to affirmations but can't or don't want to
so if you're busy with life and can't find the time to affirm or if you wanna multi-task (practice loa + work), you can use subliminals since you can play them in the background whil living your life
you will also find that they work as an excellent manifesting tool as they don't require effort, focus, or intent for them to work
saturate your mind with mulitple topics
this is one of the techniques to use if you have mulitple things you wanna manifest but wanna affirm for all of them since you can listen to as many subliminals as you want
+ a single, very short subliminal can list out numerous benefits since it also utilises layering and speeding up the affirmation to allow for more repetition to occur
🫧 scripting
basically, repeatedly journaling about what you wanna experience as if it already manifested
🪷 use this if you wanna
visualise but prefer thinking in words
I use both visualistation & scripting. both have their perks. sometimes scripting helps me soak myself into the narrative, it helps me understand what I want & how the materialisation of the desire will look like.
it really helps me get into the zone since I love journaling like I am talking to someone about all the good things that already happened
(the interview method could serve as a link between both scripting and visualising & it is a method I really like!)
🫧 inner & imaginary conversations
along the same lines, you can utilise inner conversations (basically positive self talk) or imagined ones (basically the interview method)
ngl, I love talking to myself & it is probably how I used to manifest a lot of things before I learnt of loa.
I also like using ai. basically I open a chatbot and have a conversation with it about my desire like I alr have it, rampage with it, or practice gratitude using it
🪷 use this if you wanna
use a fun way to manifest
we all love making scenarios in our head, so instead of having imaginary arguments in the shower, make these scenarios/conversations favourable to your new story
work on/correct ur mental diet
your mental diet refers to the collection of natural thoughts that you think throughout the day.
the difference between a good & a bad mental diet is the difference between an optimist & a pessimist, a confident person & an insecure person
if you watch the inner conversations you have intently and correct it whenever it doesn't algin with what you want, you will start having better thoughts involuntarily, which will help you automatically & instantly manifest good things into your life
🫧 visualisation
basically daydreaming with intent, so you decide what you want to visualise (usually a short scene so you can loop it) + practice experiencing it from the first pov to generate the feeling / idea that you are truly experiencing it
I know some don't like visualising cos they can't do it, and I want y'all to know that visualisation is a practice. it takes time to be able to visualise vividly and feel like it real, so practice! you might not be able to do it at first but you will get better with time.
for me, my visualisations used to be much more hazy, unclear, and mostly audible but now I can see & feel with my five senses what I wanna visualise + before, I was only able to visualise in 3rd pov but the more I practiced 1st pov, the more naturally it started coming to me
there are several other visualisation techniques to apply, such as SATS, mind movies, and vision boards. I will talk more on them later.
🪷 use this if you wanna
understand what u desire much deeply
like scripting, this method helps generate feelings, which could help aid you in understanding what is it that you want to manifest & why, like what is the real end goal here?
live in the state of wish fulfilled
our minds can't tell the difference from between a real image and imagined one so vividly visualising helps in impressing the subconscious mind into believing that it already happened.
it also allows you to have fun in imagination, experience the good feelings that come with your desires with just the power of your mind, and thus helps you stop relying on the 3d for validation; thus you are now in the state of wish fulfilled!
🫧 SATS
this is a specific form of visualisation that Neville coined & you do it right before sleeping, aka the State Akin To Sleep or SATS
what is most important about it is to do it until you sleep, you live the scene as if it is real, and you loop it.
there's a variation of it called the lullaby method, which is about repeating a single affirmation until you sleep. this can be helpful to those who prefer affirming over visualising (but like I said u can always get better at visualising!)
🪷 use this if you wanna
manifest insanely quickly, for emergencies, time crunches, etc.
this method is basically a shortcut to your sub mind. so when I say it works insanely fast I mean it, like you will see results the very next day.
I like to use specific scenarios / manifestation that I want to happen super quickly
be efficient
this method is quite efficient due to the short time it takes to do (just a few minutes before you sleep) compared to the results you get.
ease the resistance
you might find that you have specific topics or concepts (such as revision) that you feel are "harder to manifest." SATS can be a great technique to use in that case since it impresses the subconscious much more easily, allowing you to feel less resistant / dysregulated.
🫧 mind movies / vision boards
a vision board is a collection of pictures which includes the experiences / things you wanna manifest. I have a whole post on how to create much more effective vision boards that you can check out!
a mind movie is similar to that but, instead of a board, it is a video of these pictures with narration, affirmations, or music accompanying it.
🪷 use this if you wanna
have preestablished visualisations created for you
instead of starting to visualise from scratch you can use those techniques as inspo + you can (esp. w the mind movie) just watch / look passively consuming the pictures, without having to actively imagine anything
incorporate visual subliminals
the post I mentioned above talks about visual subs in vision boards but basically you can add affirmations in low opacity, small font, or ones that quickly disappear, which you won't consciously see but your subconscious mind will register them.
provides the added benefit of incoproprating subs.
🫧 list method
you create a list of all your desires and then you affirm for the entire list using affirmations such as "my list manifested," "I have everything on my list," etc.
🪷 use this if you wanna
affirm but got numerous desires
instead of affirming for each of the million desires you got, affirm for your list. it will help remove some of the anxiety with feeling like you are not affirming enough for a topic or the dreadful choice paralysis of what you need to affirm for next.
script in a bullet point format
the list method is similar to a very simplified script, but you seperate the desires using bullets.
🫧 nervous system regulation (nsr)
this is not one technique, rather, it encompasses a lot of healing practices such as journaling, eft tapping, meditation, exercise, breath work, etc.
🪷 use this if you wanna
stabilise & ground yourself so you can feel happier and more peaceful
these techniques help you feel in alignment and be in the state of wish fulfilled
it can also help when you are experiencing upleasant feelings or unhelpful old stories
become more grateful for what you have
when your mind is cluttered and you trying to manifest desperately, it could cloud you judgement from seeing how beautiful your life is rn. NSR aims to remove that clutter and allows you to see reality for what it truly is: ever changing and honestly really not as bad as you make it out to be
as long as you are doing fine in this present moment, you're good (would recommend reading the Power of Now for more)
better understand your thinking patterns and any unconscious core beliefs
sometimes we wanna work on building a better self concept, becoming better people, understanding ourselves, or being much happier but we just don't know what exactly is holding us back,
NSR can help you with that, as you allow your mind to speak for itself or allow yourself to relax into your body you can better understand yourself and what you need to change.
🫧 void state / self hypnosis
they mean similar things as far as I am aware, which is the meditative state where your body is asleep but your mind is awake and receptive to whatever affrimations it receives
🪷 use this if you wanna
relax
it could serve as a great nsr technique, I personally used self hypnosis a lot before learning of loa because I found it hard to relax and short meditations weren't effective.
now I am able to relax so easily that I can do short meditations + a lot of health problems born out of chronic stress have disappeared
become highly suggestible
like I said your mind is awake but has slowed into a relaxed state, allowing it to accept any affirmations or assumptions it hears without judgement, it won't deny whatever you are saying to it & will accept it as truth causing you to shift/manifest instantly
🫧 revision
revision is technique used to 'revise the past,' which is not only about changing how you look at your past, but what actually happened too. there are numerous stories of people revising death and other unfavourable situations so it is quite powerful. I don't personally use it a lot (beyond affirming once for what I wanna revise) because I prefer focusing on the present (& the future)
🪷 use this if you wanna
change the past
pretty self explanatory, just affirm, visualise, and meditate on the revised story until it shows up
change your (limiting) beliefs & state
like I said, part of revising is changing your idea about what happened, this happens through changing your beliefs to know that time is a construct and that changing anything, at any point of time, is possible + shifting your state (feelings + thoughts) about what happened
self regulate
since you're shifting your state around something unfavourable, you're practicing regulating your mind + body & actually shifting to a more relaxing and fulfilling timeline
affirm in past tense
honestly affriming in past instead of present tense feels really powerful sometimes so even if you don't wanna revise anything, just affirming in past tense can make the affirmation sound more natural, like it has always been that way
🫧 acting as if
acting as if is basically thinking, feeling, and behaving like the person who has all of your desires aka your highest self. this is one of the most basic ways to building SC and it is a fun way of roleplay that will help you become the best version of you automatically. one thing I like about this technique is that it helps in detaching from the 3d and understanding that it is not the world that has to change for you to be happy, but rather you (your internal state has to change)
🪷 use this if you wanna
stop self-sabotaging
when you start acting like the desired version of you, you will come face to face with all the ways you're NOT yet being that version of you, which is the first step to stop being sabotaging your own success. through journaling and other techniques, these unfavourable habit of thinking, feeling, and behaving will be dropped
prepare yourself to be the person who can and will live this life
in relation to self sabotage, sometimes we subconsciously don't feel ready for all of the success and happiness we want. we don't believe we're worthy of it. as a result, we don't allow it to happen. but if you already lived as that version of you who you believe would have achieved it you will build a very solid self concept that such doubts and fears won't hold any truth any more.
detach
like I said, when you live as if this is your dream life, you realise that your dream life is not the keeper of your happiness, but rather it is you. you decide if you want to be happy, you decide if a circumstance has any meaning, whether positive or negative.
get better at visualising
in my experience, acting as if allows me to better visualise since I am seeing the world from the eyes of the highest version of me. it feels like my daydreams automatically align to what I wanna visualise and I can visualise at any given time of day, with my eyes open even
this all for the techniques, hope you enjoyed this post. I got an epiphany for it last night at like 2 am and started writing lol
on a last note, I'd like you to know all of these methods are connected and can overlap so make sure you are nourishing each area of manifesting (sc, alignment to desires, nsr, etc.) to live a fulfilling life while also getting what you want!
🫧 see u soon, loves 🫧

Corey was a little embarrassed walking into the gym in early January. Last year, he had made a resolution to go to the gym more and it lasted maybe a month. He had done some classes, worked with a coach, but eventually life happened and he let his membership lapse. He still wanted to grow muscle, but habits take time to change.
This year he hoped it would be different. At the front desk, he saw one of the trainers who smiled and laughed, "Look who it is! Woah, man it's been awhile! Do you want to restart your membership? Or will you quit on me again!"
Corey turned red and chuckled, "Yeah, I know, hopefully this year goes better."
"How about we sign you up for our accountability plan? It's an extra $50 per month, but you're guaranteed results and sessions with a trainer. What do you think?"
Corey was going to say no, but was too embarrassed by the whole situation that he ended up agreeing. He filled out some paperwork, made sure his credit card was up to date, and then went into the locker room to change.
When he came out the gym was totally empty except for the trainer, who was standing and waiting.
"Ready to train?" he said. "Let's have a look here!"
Suddenly, Corey felt his arms lift up and the trainer took off his shirt. The trainer used his hands to massage Corey's body into different positions, having him flex and pose as his average body transformed into a thick, beefy gym bro. His mind went blank as it rebooted a few times with his new programming.
"So many guys come and go in January, but this is your year bro! Already looking massive, dude. See you around!"
That year, Corey rarely missed a day at the gym. For all he knew, he had spent years building up this body. The trainers often used him as an example and to promote the gym online. Every so often he'd just stand there to let the trainers massage his massive body. He was the most chill gym bro around who everyone could rely on. Dumb and dependable.

Vito
Vito, once a semi-successful soccer player, found himself comfortable settling down after his retirement at the age of 26. He got married, had children, and indulged in the pleasures of life. This newfound lifestyle resulted in him gaining a significant amount of weight, but Vito didn’t really care, his strict diet days as an athlete were a thing kf the past now.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/478e7ff47e1519d72649900ff0ea1d02/37afd9304861070b-3b/s540x810/b4679b6eaf04167aaac590db4602edc4ed2cb4c3.jpg)
After struggling to find purpose in post-retirement life, Vito managed to secure a job as an assistant coach at a big football club. Still basking in his past glory, he found himself attending numerous dinner parties and social gatherings, further contributing to his weight gain. Despite this, the club achieved success under his coaching. Vito's talent did not go unnoticed, and he eventually landed a position as the head coach of an English soccer club. Excitement and anticipation filled his heart as he embarked on this new journey, although it meant being far away from home. The first few months proved challenging as he resided in a hotel, relying heavily on room service and dining out every night. The restaurant owners and staff would celebrate his presence like a king, showering him with bottles of champagne and free food. Vito's weight continued to spiral out of control with each passing week. Amidst a tough season, where the club experienced both wins and losses, Vito resorted to snacking on packs of gummies during training sessions and indulging in big lunches with the club's CEO or players. They would even pass on their leftovers and desserts, further fueling his unhealthy habits.

As the press and media took notice of his expanding waistline, Vito reveled in the attention. The club managed to secure a third-place finish that season, but Vito's weight gain became a topic of concern. “Can he be a good example to the team at this weight?” The media questioned. Taking a well-deserved vacation, Vito's frustrations led him to overeat during his month-long all-inclusive stay in Dubai. Constant lounging at the pool and dining at extravagant restaurants only added more weight to his already hefty physique.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/baaf77e62c68bc0167f368d831450378/37afd9304861070b-37/s540x810/74de957707170f304ec39ac49a8cac31311ff646.jpg)
Upon returning to the club, Vito faced numerous remarks about his weight gain. Despite the criticisms, he remained focused on his work and became stricter with the players. No parties were allowed, and he would push them hard during training camps. However, unbeknownst to Vito, the players started using his weakness for food to their advantage. They would discreetly pass on their leftovers to keep him busy, providing them with some relief and relaxation. As the season progressed, Vito's weight continued to escalate. But he remained indifferent, solely focused on the success of his team. Parties became a regular occurrence, and hangover breakfasts started being a part of his daily routine. Snacking, lavish lunches, and dinners dominated his every waking moment.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/102a358f364ad7a7e7a17ab862d0f6b0/37afd9304861070b-57/s540x810/b55b50f4646345cd23829db6bc28f89d0e0ce34a.jpg)
When the moment of truth arrived, Vito's team emerged as victors in his second year as head coach. The ecstatic celebrations and constant partying only added to his ever-increasing size. But in the face of victory, he couldn't care less about his physical appearance. Vito had become massive, but his unwavering dedication to his team defined him more than his physicality ever could. Despite the consequences on his body, he had achieved success, which meant the world to him. And as he continued his coaching journey, he learned that true fulfillment came from within, not from societal expectations of appearance.

Do you think Jean might be the person Kevin cares about the most? Like. I know this freak is super smart but he learnt to speak French fluently in like 3 years. In secret! When he only cared about history and exy.
honestly, i genuinely think he does. but also when you take a look at the people kevin cares about i just think kevin cares about jean in such an unique and deep way that's different from the way he might care about others.
he gives dobson full permission to discuss the things that have come up during his sessions if it helps jean. kevin has seen jean at his worst at the ravens nest, but i think jean has seen a great deal of abuse towards kevin too. kevin's might not be as bad as jean, but he was still a pet to them.
they will always have that shared trauma and i think kevin will always carry the heavy burden of leaving the nest before jean did. i think if needed kevin will always go out of his way to be there for jean if jean will just ask for it (f.e: coach rhemann asks kevin to help jean with his first press conference ? media appearance ? and kevin is ready to jump on a plane and be there next to jean or jeremy calls him late at night and asks him if riko broke his hand and even though only a dozen people know and he does not want to talk about it, because the situation is 'resolved' he trusts jeremy with this truth).
a few other examples of people he cares about: andrew, neil, coach wymack. i think he will always care for andrew, not just for the potential he sees in him, but for the fact andrew was his partner outside the nest. i think it's andrew who has been there for him when he needed to adjust to a normal(ish) life routine. i think he cares for neil for his potential, but also for all neil has given him in return, even though they all had to face hell for it. i think he cares for coach wymack because that's his father, but even when david wymack had no idea kevin knew he was a person he could run to and never even doubted it.
in general i think kevin day cares so deeply for the people around him and although he's not a soft person, his actions and feelings are.

Hi new to this fandom and was told this is the Joe’marr blog . I’d love to know your favorite moment between these two and how would you describe this dynamic cause it seems like Ja’Marr don’t play
Hi anon, welcome to the fandom and to joe'marr in general! and lol yes i do definitely post about them a lot!
ja'marr does NOT play, i agree! neither of them do about each other i'd say <3. i've described my perception of their dynamic a few times in asks (and! important to remember it's just my perception because we don't actually know any of these men personally) but here goes way too many words about it below the cut 🫡
differences and similarities
to me, they're two good friends who are seemingly very different, but complement each other well, and are actually very similar on the inside! ja'marr is outwardly more extroverted, warmer and friendlier, while joe isn't cold, necessarily, but he seems to take longer to warm up to people in general; he's never friendly just to be friendly ("he'll walk right by you and not smile" per ja'marr), and, despite recent appearances lol, is more of an introvert. (although honestly, ja'marr recently has said he's starting to prefer staying in playing video games and joe has been more out and about! so it seems like they may be rubbing off on each other!) but at their core they're both stubborn, strong, brave and have an edge to them that i think they've recognized in each other since day 1 (all those fights at LSU practices! a love of taunting!)
taking care of each other
they care about each other a tremendous amount and it seems like they are always trying to take care of each other in their own ways. ja'marr with his (maybe???) buying joe clothes and taking him out and wanting him to live his life (he must be thrilled about France Joe), and always defending him in the press (and on twitter lmao). joe always getting in extra throwing sessions with ja'marr (including and most importantly ja'marr's rookie year when he was struggling and they'd stay after practice getting extra work in), always talking up ja'marr's talent and intelligence and work ethic in the press, and he basically guaranteed him a spot on the team during the 2021 draft.
mind reading - good
they've known each other for 6 (SIX!!) years now and according to both of them they "don't need words" to understand each other at this point. which is maybe my FAVORITE thing to analyze about them lmao. because that's definitely obvious on the field. i don't think i really understood how special their on-the-field connection is (despite announcers and coaches and analysts talking about it constantly!) until i finally started understanding how the game actually works (lol i didn't watch football until 2 years ago and started understanding it even later). like, ja'marr's ability to know when to break out of his route, when to improvise when joe needs him to, and joe's ability to know exactly where ja'marr's going to be??? and all of this is happening in SECONDS while people are actively trying to bring them down through any means possible?? that's such an impossible feat and it's one they pull off all the time! and this translates to off the field for them too. one of my favorite clips ever is ja'marr describing how he can tell how joe's feeling just by how he walks in the building, and that joe can do the same for him. "i know him like the back of my hand, he knows me like the back of his" like??? ok boys! that's some soulmate shit actually!
mind reading - bad
BUT on that note, i do think that, ironically, this ability to "read each others' minds" sometimes could lead to miscommunication for them! or at least it could lead to them NOT saying things that maybe they should say out loud. i don't have a lot of concrete examples here (obviously because if they're not saying things to each other they aren't saying them to the press) but there's an interview where ja'marr's talking about his hip injury. and how he "never talked to joe about it" but he "knew in his mind that he'd come back when joe needed him" which ???? what are you talking about ja'marr?? the double mind reading there of a. expecting joe to know that he'll come back when he needs him but also b. expecting himself to know when joe would need him! like! that seems really complicated, you could just, talk to each other? maybe?
ja’marr also said that joe didn’t believe him when he told him that his presence was enough at practice, that joe thought he was joking (i guess it’s not commonplace for ja’marr to come right out and say how important joe is to him and the team! so joe probably wouldn't know what to make of that rare moment of sincerity!)
and i think they aren't talking to each other about contracts (which, fair enough, that's business), but people sure were asking ja'marr about joe's contract anyway (and they're starting to do the same for joe about ja'marr!) and we all remember a lot of ja'marr's comments that came around to bite him lol. and, i have NO proof for this one besides my projections/feelings, but i wonder if joe's worried at all about ja'marr's contract this year. if he's worried that if he doesn't perform, ja'marr won't want to stay. now, ja'marr tells the press (and twitter. and his twitch chat. and his dad.) that he wants to stay with joe, but does joe believe that? has ja'marr ever come out and actually said that to him? or is he expecting joe to just know that?
(oh man i wrote a lot in that section, and i have so little actual evidence, but it's something i love thinking about! i don't want them being too cutesy or perfect tbh. they're flawed! they're men raised in stoic sports culture and honestly i am so sure they suck at communicating. i'm sure they've had misunderstandings. i'm sure they've argued. and that's so important!)
balance
i think another thing i love about their dynamic is that ja'marr is such a good check for joe. if you haven't noticed, joe kind of runs the organization lmao. from day 1 he's been involved in the play calling, drafting, overall culture and philosophy. and that's his right! he is good at all of that! he's The Franchise (worshipped throughout the team, the city, half of the state!) and, in the beginning, i think ja'marr felt that way about joe too. joe led him to a perfect season and a national championship in college and then a super bowl his first year in the league! he himself said, right before the super bowl in 21, "he's like a god to me" which is...just a WILD thing to say about your friend :') like??? the devotion? the loyalty?? okay ja'marr!!
but, then they lose, and ja'marr "coaxes joe out of bed" to go celebrate anyway. he gets to be the one to see joe at his absolute lowest and he's the one to build him back up. and i think that really affected their dynamic from then on, to the point that ja'marr became the only guy to think of joe as an actual human being in the organization. i don't think (until very very recently with zac) that a single person other than ja'marr ever said no to joe (the way joe stayed in that titans game last year despite being hurt, at risk, and losing by so much cemented that for me!) ja'marr was the ONLY ONE to say that joe should sit out as long as he needed to for the calf. the only one not celebrating (in fact, he seemed PISSED) when joe was running around during preseason games despite not being fully healed 😭 the only one saying "come on joe let's go out" instead of just coming to him (and it seems that's finally worked lol) and joe NEEDS that. he needs that desperately! someone who will support him but call him on his shit, someone who sees him as more than just his abilities and wants what's actually best for him!
teasing <3
finally (oh my god this is SO LONG) i really enjoy how playful they are with each other. joe tends to be very Stoic and Serious (not all the time, but it's a tendency) and i think ja'marr is good at bringing him out of that. he's talked about how back at LSU he would joke around with joe and it took him a long time to finally figure out how to make him smile and laugh. and i think that's a skill he's perfected over the years! every mic'ed up between the two of them, we get to hear them tease and mess with each other. "you see that big blue thing over there??" "you couldn't overthrow me and get me in stride?" "my guy you were wide open!" (ja'marr's hands on joe's hips the entire time) "you're looking pretty slow" "be serious" and "he said you underthrew him" "yeah right" and "i ain't gonna lie, you look slow as hell" and "i'll start taking it off for you ja'marr" and "joe swears he's sneaky fast" and "hey man you're so cool!" and on and on and on! i HATE that we've never had a long form interview/podcast with BOTH of them on it because my god i want to know what an actual conversation is like between them. but i think it must be a lot of that. a lot of fond jokes, compliments hidden in teasing; we see them laughing together so often <3 and of course we CAN'T forget the UFC moves they practice on each other :) "we mess around every now and then".
the end
okay i'm stopping myself because oh my god this is so much. anon i'm sorry, you absolutely aren't going to read all of this. but it's been two years and i STILL apparently have so much to say about these two. it's ridiculous. i'm ridiculous. (but so are they!!)
#holy shit i'm insane#this is almost 2000 words about two silly football guys#who i don't actually know and never will#so like - please understand this is all just my projection and perception based on the little evidence we have#and you could have a very different idea of them#and that's okay!#it's all fandom - it's all make believe baby!#but good lord do i think about these two a lot!#it's a problem <3#haha i went back and put in subheadings so this wasn't just a massive wall of text#maybe that will make this slightly readable lmao#oh and i didn't even start on my favorite moments#tbh i can NOT choose#game ball gifting....jersey wearing...clothes buying saga....i need him to sit back and look pretty....#a lot of options!#maybe i'll make a poll lol#joe'marr#joemarr

[2024.12.07 & 2024.12.14] Nikkan Sports - Celebrating his 30th birthday. Yuzuru Hanyu Interview

Part 1: [Celebrating his 30th birthday] Yuzuru Hanyu interview: "I can definitely get better in my 30s"
Figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, who achieved back-to-back gold medals in the Winter Olympics, celebrates his 30th birthday today, the 7th, and is kicking off his nationwide ice show tour "Echoes of Life."
This is the third installment of the "Yuzuru Hanyu ICE STORY" series, where he performs solo and serves as the creative director. The tour begins at Saitama Super Arena and will continue through seven performances in three cities until February next year, weaving a unique story. In a recent exclusive interview, he discussed the progress and changes he has experienced as an athlete in his third year as a professional. (Honorifics omitted hereafter.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
At age 19, he won an Olympic gold medal in figure skating. At age 23, he became the first Asian to win two consecutive Olympic titles. At age 27, he turned professional. Hanyu, the extraordinary skater who became the youngest individual recipient of the People's Honor Award, has just celebrated his 30th birthday.
"It hasn't changed. Human DNA inevitably gets damaged with age, but I believe the body changes in both good and bad directions. I want to find the good direction. There are things now that I can feel, which I couldn’t in my teens or 20s. I’m sure I can continue to improve in my 30s. Of course, compared to my teenage years, my recovery cycle, the way I handle tension and pressure, and the development of my muscles have all changed, but by considering how to care for my body and listening to it, I hope to spend each day thinking, 'I’ve definitely gotten better than I was before, and I’ll always get better than yesterday.'"
He has proven his progress through action. During his competitive years, if we put it in extreme terms, the short program (SP) was only 2 minutes and 40 seconds, and the free program was 4 minutes, and those performances happened only once a day. Now, he performs shows lasting 90 to 150 minutes alone.
"For example, in the 'RE_PRAY TOUR' (the second tour from a year ago), after about 40 minutes into the first half of the 50-minute segment, I perform a quadruple jump. By then, I’m already exhausted... but practicing to be able to perform under those conditions is essential."
Before achieving his second consecutive victory at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, he focused on strengthening 'oxidative energy metabolism.' He practiced high-difficulty jumps and ran through his programs, and after giving everything, he would even skate an additional 30 minutes, covering 80 laps (about 11 kilometers) on the rink.
"Back then, I was doing training to build endurance and increase my metabolism, so I practiced skating continuously for 30 minutes. But now, just doing the entire program (for a show) takes an hour and a half (laughs). I focus on 'run-through practices,' and just doing that is enough to feel like my stamina has improved and evolved."
In the previous show, he skated through 12 programs. Additionally, if you include checking the basics of jumps and refining the details, it would take twice as long.
"It inevitably takes more than three hours, so on practice days when I can only secure three hours, it's a tight squeeze to finish everything. On top of that, there’s the timing for building a solid foundation, improving endurance for long skating sessions, and developing explosive power. Ultimately, off-ice and land-based training have also increased. I'm also responsible for the choreography and structure, so I need to make sure there’s enough rest time to improve the quality within that... It's really tough (laughs)."
Third year as a professional. Achieving everything on his own. That’s why he has also progressed as an athlete.
"Until now, I had been taught by coaches, but gradually I became more independent, and after COVID-19, I returned from my base in Canada and started training alone. I realized that if I didn't incorporate knowledge on my own, I wouldn't be able to win, and I would get weaker. I did a lot of research, studying myself. When I was younger, I was taught only the knowledge related to figure skating, but now, through self-study, I look into what the top athletes in other sports are doing, and research the advancements in fields like kinesiology. Recently, I’ve been referencing sports like basketball, thinking about acceleration, stopping, and jumping while repeating movements."
An ice show typically involves 10 to 20 skaters taking turns, but he performs alone. There is no precedent for this anywhere in the world. He has no choice but to carve his own solitary path.
"To begin with, there isn't much scientific knowledge about figure skating. It's a minor sport (considering the number of competitors), and it's difficult to measure movements on a large 30m x 60m rink. That's why I compare it with my own intuition and experience (as a two-time Olympic champion), form hypotheses about whether practicing in this way will yield results, and then go through a process of trial and error. I have a clear goal from the start, and I believe that if I follow these steps, I'll definitely reach it."
At the 2022 Beijing Olympics, where he attempted the unprecedented quadruple Axel (4A), he pinned his hopes of success on the 'tendon reflex,' utilizing the elastic energy of the tendons that connect muscles and bones, acting like a 'spring.'
"Actually, I now use two types of tendon reflexes. One type produces power in a very short period of time, while the other generates power over a slightly longer period. I use them differently depending on the situation. As sports science research progresses, I am incorporating this approach into my ice shows as well."
In the previous tour, he performed five consecutive jumps starting with a quadruple toe loop, a feat not recognized in competitions. Yuzuru Hanyu, now 30 years old, continues to perform courageously in a world without limits. The curtain rises on the stage as he promises, 'I will skate with all my heart and soul to give you the best experience possible.'"

Part 2: [Celebrating his 30th birthday] Yuzuru Hanyu interview: "Studying with my own body" - The evolution of his athletic side
In the second part of the solo interview, he looks back on his progress in his third year as a professional and shares his impressions of watching the Paris Olympics this summer.
--Two years have passed since your declaration of intent on July 19, 2022, and you’ve entered your third year as a professional. Looking back, from an athlete’s perspective, are there any areas where you feel you've grown or improved, in terms of measurable progress?
"I've definitely become physically stronger. Plus, what's known as 'thinking while performing.' For example, if I keep thinking about how I need to move, whether it's a jump or an expression, and continue performing, I'll inevitably lose oxygen as I think more and more. Thinking is a tiring task, isn't it? So, I've been skating so much that I can reduce the amount of thinking required. As a result, I feel like the quality of my performance has improved simultaneously. "
--Over the past two years, you’ve essentially been doing all the thinking by yourself. "That's right. I've really been thinking and thinking on my own. It's tough, but because I'm thinking, I have a sense of conviction about my own body. For example, if every day was just about being given instructions (like training methods), I wouldn't have the time to think, 'Is this really the right approach...?!' It would just be a daily routine of doing without questioning. In that case, it feels like the only thing I can remember is what I'm taught."
--Compared to when you were competing, have there been any significant changes in the way you look after yourself, your diet, or your lifestyle schedule?
"I really feel like I've improved since I turned professional. The way I use my body is completely different now, and the way I build it has also changed a lot. Even the timing of my meals has changed. For example, when I was in Toronto, Canada, I had to adjust for the time difference. Eating is also a moment where energy is consumed. So, I constantly think about when to eat and how to replenish my energy. But digesting what I've eaten actually takes a lot of physical energy. It's surprising, but it's true. After eating something heavy, it feels like I get tired, in a way. So, I have to be mindful of when to allocate time for using that energy or when my blood is flowing for digestion. I try to be conscious of that, and also, I want to make sure that nutrients get into my body without using too much energy. So, I'm always thinking about what kind of food I should eat and what I should intake. I've started to think about these things much more carefully compared to when I was competing. I do feel like I've evolved in this regard."
--Literally, there's nothing but evolution.
"I think it's the same as the progress of science (laughs). Scientists work in a lab, managing budgets and conducting experiments to produce results, right? In my case, it's like I'm conducting research using my own body. So, I believe I'm always evolving. For example, there are studies out there that may not directly relate to our real lives. Even if research results are produced, one might wonder, 'But what does that mean for me?' For instance, if research in quantum mechanics advances, we might still ask, 'How does that directly connect to our lives?' There are things like that. You can't know right now, at this moment. I, too, experience moments in my skating practice where I try something, but it doesn’t yield the results I expected. But when that happens, I just think, "Okay, that didn’t work—so maybe I’ll try this next time," constantly moving forward while thinking about what to do next. In the end, I think it all leads to evolution as a result."
--You practice, think, and prepare not only the technical aspects but also the structure of the performance and the direction of the show itself... I imagine you don’t get enough sleep, so have there been more nights when you can’t sleep? When you were an athlete, I assume you focused on ensuring you got enough sleep.
"Basically, the amount of time I need to spend on skating has increased. So, not only do I need to eat, but I also need to sleep, and I have to calculate when and how much time I should allocate for each. I can only live by calculating everything. There have been days when I couldn't sleep at all, but on the other hand, I'm always thinking, ‘Yesterday I could only sleep this much, but today, I might be able to sleep during this gap. How much time can I make up?' It’s a tough balance."
--This summer, the Summer Olympics took place in Paris. It's been two and a half years since the Beijing Olympics. I imagine this was the first Olympics you watched from a professional standpoint. How did you feel about it?
"Yes, indeed. From an outside perspective, I think that the Olympics are viewed as 'entertainment' for the people. The topic of judo, the excitement around skateboarding, and the newly introduced breaking were all part of that. In that context, the opportunity for the general public to watch these sports, even if they don’t know much about them, is something that can only happen at the Olympics. I also felt once again that, for us, being able to perform and achieve results in that moment is everything. However, I also realized that we should not become complacent just because we’ve achieved a result, and that people will find us cool in the future if we continue to push forward."

Today's translation #666
Kikan Esu, Summer 2017
The on-ice bond between Yurio, Yuuri and Victor
A fellow student of Victor and gold medalist of the Grand Prix series, Yuri Plisetsky (Yurio). He has a strong attachment to Yuuri, and so, he is very aware of not only Victor, the top skater's existence, but also of Yuuri's. Even though he fails his jumps, his steps charm the audience, and so Yurio is very interested in Yuuri's potential. Yurio has been receiving orthodox ballet training in addition to his practice sessions, and in the Grand Prix Final, in short program, he broke Victor's world record and placed 1st. Also for Victor, it was a stimulus. Victor informs Yurio, who's coach is by his side, that he's going to continue his competitive career and then he hugs Yurio. Yurio instinctively senses that 'perhaps Yuuri is planning to retire?', and he skates the following free program, feeling irritation towards Yuuri. Yuuri's free program broke Victor's world record. Yurio continues to skate his program, motivated to win, no matter what. He fails his quad toe loop, but after that, he shows the audience a series of brilliant spirals, steps and jumps. It seems that his skating is a message to Yuuri - 'if you retire, you'll regret that your whole life'. On the other side, Yuuri is watching Yurio's skating, with an expression on his face that suggests he's been provoked. Yurio's skating has a power that can move people, power that can bring back on ice even Yuuri, who has already decided he's going to retire. Skating depicted in this show, Yurio's performance being a prime example of this, is connected to Yuuri's monologue in the last scene of the show - 'There are places that you cannot reach, if you don't have a dream that is too big for you to carry alone. We call it love. Everything that happens on the ice.' Yuuri's skating revived Victor, and Yurio's skating revived both Victor and Yuuri. It's not only about your personal success. The deep emotions are born, because they skate together and fight together. The love that keeps alive those, who stand on the podium, touches the hearts of people, who watch the show.
[Notes: It's an editor's comment to Sayo's interview, but it's quite interesting, imo - how much influence on how the story ended Yurio had.]

Butchlander are answering the Valentine’s 25 asks
* first date: describe your ideal first date.
BB: We meet at a racetrack, I stare at him across the way and drink a beverage with his face on it.
HL: … What? Oh, that. That wasn’t a date.
BB: it was to me.
HL: I prefer visiting his house and having a bitch session.
* first kiss: what’s the best way to be kissed?
BB: fast, hard and spontaneous
HL: what he said.
* preference: sexuality? what’s your ‘type’?

BB: My last one was in 2011. *grim*
* flowers: what’s the best romantic gift to give someone?
BB: Sometimes a good old punch in the teeth. Or a spanking to set them straight.
HL: I gave him a dose of Compound V to use and he tried to return it to Vought for retail value cash.
* st. valentine: what are your hopes for love this year?
BB: For him to stop being a cunt.
HL: To have the person I’m dating still be alive at the end of the year.

When Henry Ford switched his factory in Highland Park, Michigan, to this method in 1913, the labor-hours required to produce a Model T dropped from 12.5 to around 1.5.
--
A simple alternative emerged: using visible activity as a crude proxy for actual productivity.
--
If you can see me in my office—or, if I’m remote, see my email replies and chat messages arriving regularly—then, at the very least, you know I’m doing something.
--
As the twentieth century progressed, this visible-activity heuristic became the dominant way we began thinking about productivity in knowledge work. It’s why we gather in office buildings using the same forty-hour workweeks originally developed for limiting the physical fatigue of factory labor, and why we feel guilty about ignoring our inboxes, or experience internalized pressure to volunteer or “perform busyness” when we see the boss is nearby. In the absence of more sophisticated measures of effectiveness, we also gravitate away from deeper efforts toward shallower, more concrete tasks that can be more easily checked off a to-do list.
--
PSEUDO-PRODUCTIVITY The use of visible activity as the primary means of approximating actual productive effort.
--
3 Principles of Slow Productivity
PRINCIPLE #1: DO FEWER THINGS
Strive to reduce your obligations to the point where you can easily imagine accomplishing them with time to spare. Leverage this reduced load to more fully embrace and advance the small number of projects that matter most.
PRINCIPLE #2: WORK AT A NATURAL PACE
Don’t rush your most important work. Allow it instead to unfold along a sustainable timeline, with variations in intensity, in settings conducive to brilliance.
PRINCIPLE #3: OBSESS OVER QUALITY
Obsess over the quality of what you produce, even if this means missing opportunities in the short term. Leverage the value of these results to gain more and more freedom in your efforts over the long term.
--
A coach named Laura, for example, reported that she simplified her practice by reducing her offerings down to a few key services. “Since figuring this out,” she told me, “my brain is calmer, the quality of my interactions is stronger, and my work quality is higher.” As a result of this higher-quality work, she now makes the same amount of money working fewer hours.
--
A teacher named Aurelia, fed up with the overload that’s endemic in K–12 education, quietly adopted a clear rule: “I no longer do work that is not compensated and clearly expected as part of my job.”
--
Overload is not fundamental to knowledge work. It’s instead largely a side effect of the crude ways in which we self-manage our work volume.
--
Mission can sound grandiose. For our purposes, we’ll demote it to a more pragmatic definition: any ongoing goal or service that directs your professional life.
It’s hard to specify the optimal number of missions, but generally, less is better than more. There’s a romance to focusing on a single pursuit, but this level of simplicity is typically accessible only to the most purely creative fields—Hemingway at Key West, banging out his morning pages on his Corona typewriter. Two or three missions are more tractable and still quite minimalist.
--
Missions require that you initiate “projects,” which is my term for any work-related initiative that cannot be completed in a single session. Some projects you complete once and then are done, such as updating the sales copy on a product website. Other projects are ongoing, meaning they unfold without any clear stopping point, such as answering support queries from clients. Projects create many of the concrete tasks that take up your time during the day.
--
Feynman, then a professor at Caltech, gave to the BBC show Horizon:
"To do real good physics work, you do need absolute solid lengths of time . . . it needs a lot of concentration . . . if you have a job administrating anything, you don’t have the time. So I have invented another myth for myself: that I’m irresponsible. I’m actively irresponsible. I tell everybody I don’t do anything."
--
Pull system
Transition from a system in which new tasks could be pushed onto their plate haphazardly to one in which they would pull in new work only when they were ready for it.
The first step in simulating a pull-based workflow is tracking all projects to which you’re currently committed on a list divided into two sections: “holding tank” and “active.”
When I say “projects,” I mean something substantial enough to require multiple sessions to complete. (Strategies for containing smaller commitments, which we call “tasks,” were discussed in the preceding proposition.)
When a new project is pushed toward you, place it in the holding-pen section of your list. There is no bound to the size of your holding tank.
The active position of the list, by contrast, should be limited to three projects at most.
--
Send an acknowledgment message that formally acknowledges the project that you’re committing to complete, but that also includes the following three pieces of extra information: (1) a request for any additional details you need from the source before you can start the project, (2) a count of the number of existing projects already on your lists, and (3) an estimate of when you expect to complete this new work.
--
Here’s an example of an acknowledgment message:
Hi, Hasini, I wanted to follow up on our conversation from earlier this morning and confirm that I’ll take charge of updating the client section of our website. What I’ll need from you before getting started is a list of what elements you think the new section needs (or a link to another company’s site that you think does it right). At the moment, I have eleven other projects queued up ahead of this. Based on my commitments to these existing projects, my best guess is that I’ll be able to get to this in roughly four weeks after I get the needed information from you. I will, of course, update you if this estimate changes. – Cal
--
You should update and clean your lists once a week. In addition to pulling in new work to fill empty slots on your active list, you should also review upcoming deadlines. Prioritize what’s due soon, and send updates for any work that you know you’re not going to finish by the time promised. These cleaning sessions also provide a good opportunity to remove from your holding tank projects that are languishing. If you’ve delayed the same project again and again, for example, this might be a good sign that you’re not really equipped to handle it, or that it falls outside your comfort zone.
--
WORK AT A NATURAL PACE
MAKE A FIVE-YEAR PLAN
DOUBLE YOUR PROJECT TIMELINES
By deploying a blanket policy of doubling these initial estimates, you can counter this instinct toward unjustified optimism. The result: plans that can be completed at a more leisurely pace.
SIMPLIFY YOUR WORKDAY
Apply the heuristic of reducing whatever task list you come up with for a given day by somewhere between 25 and 50 percent.
A good target is to ensure that no more than half of the hours in any single day are dedicated to meetings or calls.

Hello, world!
Hi, there! My name is Jibby (pronounced like Gibby from iCarly except with a J). I have other fun accounts here on Tumblr @jibbi and @adrinoir (if you like Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir), but this is one specifically focused on manifestation.
Last year, I got into actively practicing law of assumption. To quickly define that, it's being in a state of mind where you assume/believe what you desire is already yours and already exists in your reality. Everyone practices this every single day, whether you realize it/know about it or not. For example, you wake up and you tell yourself "It's an amazing day," you'll have an amazing day, especially when you keep consistently telling yourself that affirmation.
I've watched a lot of content from coaches and other people in the manifestation community. I like hearing different perspectives and techniques used to get you into that state of mind to assume you have what you've desired. However, I noticed some of them fish for people to pay them for personal coaching sessions and things can start to sound gimmicky or even confusing. But, I do understand direct one-on-one or group coaching can be beneficial for certain people. We're all different when it comes to how our minds work.
I wanted to start this blog for both your sake and my own. I feel that talking about manifestation techniques that have worked for me, mentioning important things I've learned about LOA, and sharing success stories in my own life and others' can be really helpful. It definitely makes me feel good, too, and keeps that mind state and persistence going.
I love hearing other people's success stories! It's really uplifting. So, I encourage you to reply, repost, and/or message me about your success stories with manifestation.
For me, this is simply enjoyable. I'm not a professional coach, I just want to share my own experience and advice with no charge. Also, as someone who's neurodivergent and struggles to process certain things, I'll explain things in the simplest terms possible - it'll be easy for both me and you.
Even if you don't feel like engaging, welcome to my blog! Thanks for reading.

Dear friends and loved ones,
I'm writing to you with great urgency regarding my partner Syd Arrojo/Goddexx. As many of you know, Syd has spent the past few years living a nomadic life since 2021. During this journey, they have started life coaching and professionally holding space for others, and are incredibly gifted in the valuable creative and spiritual work they do. Their intended next step is to work on their memoir I Am Goddexx, which chronicles their experiences as a trans, queer, Two-Spirit person with Peruvian and Cuban roots. This memoir is intended to be a vital resource for not only trans people but all walks of life.
I need to be direct: They are in crisis due to physical and emotional burnout. The constant uncertainty and displacement has taken a severe toll on their physical and mental health. They have been forced to completely stop working, including pausing progress toward their memoir, as they experience serious burnout that requires immediate rest to recover. This isn't just about being tired, this is about survival from the effects of generations of oppressive systems working against QTBIPOC that affect Syd directly.
At this time, Syd requires collective community support to secure $6,000 for stable housing and basic necessities for the next six months. This isn't just about comfort - it's about creating the bare minimum conditions needed to recover their health and rebuild their capacity to work. The violence of forced nomadic life and constant uncertainty pushed them to a breaking point, and even after months of house searching, an appropriate space has not been made available. The severity of Syd’s situation cannot be overstated, and I fear that without stable housing, their health will continue to deteriorate.
If you're able to contribute financially, this is the most direct and immediate way to help. Funds can be directed to Syd via Venmo: @iamgoddexx
However, I understand this isn't possible for everyone. Here are other crucial ways you can support:
Share this request within your networks, especially with those who have the means to help. Sharing this directly and providing context with your networks is the most beneficial. (For example, naming your relationship with Syd/Goddexx and vouching for them while sharing this information through email or social media).
Forward this email to folks with privileged identities and resources who can invest immediate (and ideally, consistent) financial assistance.
Help identify and apply for emergency, artist, and individual grants.
Join a care pod with Syd where support and resources can be mutually provided.
Share and contact individuals you know affiliated with college/universities that have access to event coordination. Syd/Goddexx is looking to book performances to support their income.
Share housing connections you may have that can support Syd’s housing search.
Volunteer for tasks such as managing a kickstarter fundraising page for their memoir, admin tasks to manage email contact collection, draft and send emails, and/or other admin tasks in support of Goddexx’s work.
Share Goddexx's work (gift a tarot session, coaching session, or performance)
Please let me know if you can assist with Syd’s recovery, or if you have any questions. (To avoid overwhelm, please direct questions to me instead of Syd, so they can focus on their rest and recovery). I really hope to see them supported and back on their feet to continue practicing their many gifts, bringing their memoir to life, and ultimately thriving again in community.
Syd via Venmo: @iamgoddexx

Time Management Tips from IAS Coaching Centers in Bangalore
Preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination is no easy feat. With a vast syllabus and fierce competition, every aspirant needs a solid strategy to make the most of their time. Fortunately, IAS coaching centers in Bangalore are known for their expert guidance, not only in academics but also in effective time management techniques. These tips can help you stay on track and maximize your productivity throughout your preparation journey.
Whether you’re attending classes at Bangalore IAS classes or self-studying, these strategies—adapted from the top UPSC coaching institutes in Bangalore—can transform the way you prepare.
1. Prioritize the Syllabus with Micro-Planning
Coaching experts often stress the importance of breaking the massive UPSC syllabus into smaller, manageable chunks. At renowned civil services coaching in Bangalore, aspirants are taught to divide their study plan into daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
For example, start your mornings with a focused review of a topic from polity or history and end your day solving practice questions. A micro-plan ensures you cover all subjects systematically, leaving no room for last-minute cramming.
2. Follow the 3-Hour Rule for Study Sessions
Many IAS academies in Bangalore recommend aspirants divide their day into focused 3-hour sessions with short breaks in between. The goal is to achieve deep concentration during these periods and complete substantial portions of the syllabus without burnout.
Faculty at Bangalore IAS classes often suggest aspirants take a short 10-minute break every hour to stay mentally fresh. This approach ensures you retain information better and avoid fatigue.
3. Make Revision a Daily Habit
One key piece of advice shared at the best IAS coaching in Bangalore is the importance of daily revision. Revisiting previously studied topics helps consolidate your knowledge and builds confidence. A popular strategy among coaching centers is the “50-10-40” method:
Spend 50% of your time studying new topics.
Dedicate 10% to quick revision of the previous day’s work.
Use the remaining 40% to attempt mock tests or write practice answers.
Aspirants who incorporate this method often find themselves better prepared for both the prelims and the mains.
4. Master the Art of Note-Making
In most UPSC coaching centers in Bangalore, faculty emphasize the importance of concise, self-prepared notes. Instead of relying solely on bulky textbooks or coaching materials, learn to distill complex topics into easy-to-revise points.
Top-performing students at IAS academy Bangalore recommend creating separate notebooks for subjects like current affairs, essays, and GS topics. Highlight important points and update them regularly to stay ahead.
5. Leverage Mock Tests and Analysis
One of the standout features of top UPSC coaching institutes in Bangalore is their extensive focus on mock tests. Regularly attempting tests under exam-like conditions helps improve time management, question prioritization, and accuracy.
However, the real trick lies in analyzing your performance. Coaching centers guide aspirants to evaluate their mistakes, learn from them, and refine their strategy. This practice ensures that you’re continually improving and saving precious time on exam day.
6. Balance Classes and Self-Study
A common challenge for aspirants at civil services coaching in Bangalore is balancing classroom learning with self-study. Faculty members recommend reviewing classroom notes the same day, ensuring you retain key concepts.
Additionally, allocate at least 4-5 hours daily for self-study, focusing on strengthening weak areas or exploring additional resources recommended by mentors at your coaching institute.
7. Maintain a Healthy Study-Life Balance
Top coaches at the best IAS coaching in Bangalore stress that time management isn’t just about study hours—it’s about overall productivity. A healthy routine that includes adequate sleep, physical activity, and relaxation is crucial for maintaining mental clarity during preparation.
Taking short walks, meditating, or engaging in a hobby can help refresh your mind and boost your efficiency when you return to your study desk.
8. Use Technology to Stay Organized
With advancements in digital tools, many UPSC coaching centers in Bangalore encourage aspirants to leverage apps for time management. Calendar tools, flashcard apps, and online test portals are invaluable for tracking progress and staying consistent.
For instance, you can use apps to schedule revision sessions, set reminders for coaching classes, or track your daily goals.
Why Time Management Matters for UPSC Success
Effective time management is the backbone of every successful aspirant's journey. The best civil services coaching in Bangalore goes beyond academics to teach students how to optimize their time. These techniques aren’t just limited to study hours—they prepare you to think critically, manage stress, and approach the exam with confidence.
As many toppers from IAS academy Bangalore point out, mastering time management can be the difference between clearing the exam and falling short. Start early, stay consistent, and adapt these expert tips into your daily routine.

FFI Euro B Coaches - Gretchen Löw (Brockenborg 🐉)
Gretchen descends of Johann Löw, a famous trainer that brought many Euro Frontier cups to Germany. Or at least, with the adult team. Junior high football isn't his specialty... Nor his interest. Although she was forced to be around his training sessions since childhood, Gretchen preferred to work as a caregiver once she grew up. Mostly oriented around those with special needs.
That seemed to be her life, till the sudden menace of Alius Academy and the kidnapping of an important japanese political figure shook the entire world. With soccer being turned into a weapon, the countries closest to Japan (Australia and Korea) entered in panic and were forced to improve their local junior high soccer skills faster than ever. (Or you thought that Jean Baker stopping most S2 hissatsus was because of plot convenience?).
Even if Europe was in a better place, the fear of the "weak" Japan (and Asia) falling to these "aliens" penetrated deep into some guvernamental powers. As such, many countries started their own soccer-improvement methods as a "just in case" type plan. In Germany this manifested with Operation Sicherung, a secret plot that meant special training for the most qualified junior high players of the country... And with that, it meant "protecting them" in a specialized base located within the Brocken mountains. Being forced to cooperate, Johann's struggle with the german youth was so bad he had decided to call his daughter in secret to help him over. Despite her own worries and the implications of the project, Gretchen decided to accept.
Originally, her intention was to be a "bridge" between her father's soccer knowledge and the children choosen for O.S, but soon enough she proved herself to be a better Junior High coach than him. The secret behind her success was mainly on her past as a teacher, fitting well with her caring and nurting personality, knowing perfectly the weakness of each child and finding a way to use it for the better. But she also had a strict side, being able to see things with logic and creating sucessful strategies in base on harsh yet understandable choices. This meant keeping emotions and logic separate, making her look colder than what it actually seemed. Truth is, her heart breaks easily when she sees her players upset.
Operation Sicherung lasted for only a while, as it got suspended once the Aliea menace was over. Nonetheless, the mark that Gretchen left both in the program's operators and in the kids she trained had been so great, that when the Euro League was announced the German Soccer Asocciation did not even hestiate on making her Brockenborg's coach instead. She was surprised by the sudden change of tides in life, but by that point there was no turning back.
I think that out of the EuroB coaches, she has the best relationship with her players. Her participation in O.S gave her prior time to study what she could about each BB member and what they could struggle with during both tournaments. But not only about soccer skills; but also about their own personal struggles. This is why she often employs special training methods for some, or her atitude is different with others.
Best example I can give is with the german captain himself. Upon finding out Jonas' being originally from Poland, Gretchen decided to start using her (so and so) polish language skills as to communicate better with him. Of course, german is still used between the two, but Polish is a perfect secret code within captain and coach (Or as a way for Jonas to vent anything to her). I like the idea that Pollack himself is quite happy with Gretchen's efforts to communicate, so in return he tries to help her understand the polish language better (better than having to rely on tiny dictionaries), or talk about his homeland's culture. 🥺
It is to say that at the end of the day, Gretchen was still a soccer rookie that kept learning as both the league and FFI went on. And despite all the effort she put in, unfortunately it wasn't enough for Brockenborg to pass the group stage. Nonetheless for a first-time coach, her road as a coach is still very appreciated by the german populace, and so her future endeavors. Who says she can't keep coaching after the FFI!? Besides junior high boy teams, she could also try luck for the upcoming female-only competitions, too 👀
#Inazuma Eleven#hc:ina11#brockenborg#OC:Gretchen Löw#Euro B Talk#Writing her surname is hell because I can't figure out how to 'ö' in a spanish keyboard#(We only use the ü for stuff like penguins but never the o...)#Btw I went with Sicherung instead of Sichern due that it is more accurate in the language (the latter is more of a verb; I think)

Hey how are you ??? Your blog is very motivating. Loved it . Specially Lester work is amazing . Thanks alot.
I wanted to ask what does that mean " ego creates and maintains subconscious"??
Hi! thanks for the appreciation!
Tbh i'm not quite sure of that part yet either anon... what I can grasp so far is that as an ego, we have "negative" or limiting thoughts or assumptions born out of certain experiences we have during our lifetime, and also "negative" strong emotions that we don't fully proccess and end up supressing and therefore holding on to. Both these thoughts and emotions are accepted as truth and integrated into our identity (as an ego) but this isn't done in a conscious way, and this type of energy (that we usually don't consciously know is there) is what makes up the subconscious. It's an integral part of what defines the ego, but it's "negative" or traumatic things that the ego doesn't want to deal with, so it's stored deep inside.
I can give an example from my own life, in my case it turns out I cultivated a feeling of not being good enough, and it probably started in my childhood, due to my dad leaving my mom when i was very little (he's always been very present, loving and supportive as a father tho) and this feeling got reflected in literally every single area, topic, fear and desire in my life. And I kinda knew it was there a little bit, but it was only after a coaching session I did last year that the coach told me that was probably my issue and it's only been very recently, way over a year past that, that I really accepted and realized it myself. It was a subconscious belief that had been shaping my entire life and that I wasn't aware of, yet I was acting, thinking and feeling from that belief all the time.
This is my understanding of it so far!
Hope this helps 🌻
#i just saw you asked lain the same question and they linked my post to it.... lol i was shook#thx lain#answered#subconscious#o#ego

Intentional with my time 💖💖💖
Today I wore a yellow long dress with flowers. I bought it few years ago from Rainbows. I love that store as a plus size woman. It can be hit and miss but you can’t beat affordable prices.
2024 I am being intentional with my time. The truth is time waits for no one. I learned this hard way in my 20s. I wish I knew what I know at 31. But that’s behind me. I must make peace with dropping the ball during my 20s. I had no real feminine hypergamy examples around me.
I actually started my level up glow up femininity hypergamy journey at 25. But was still naïve, immature, and didn’t know what I know. I wasn’t serious at 25 late 20s like I’m serious at 31 early 30s. It’s like I’m playing catch up. But it’s better to play catch up than to never start this level up glow up journey.
I also didn’t have this spiritual ability. I am so thankful I have strong spiritual ability where spirit and beautiful black communicate through me. It’s on my list to get medium reading to see which spirits and black ancestors channel through me. So glad I took out birth control and spiritual ability developed.
It’s my time to shine. My January gym sessions scheduled in my digital planner. And this pre booking beauty appointments. And my grandma is in New York while she is gone my step dad spoils me with takeout and I’m not giving it up. So I will look at restaurants menu and calories and pick in the middle food choices and enjoy my step dad spoiling me at my favorite restaurants and me not pay. Because that’s what men are for. He like my only example of a man financially providing for house and being a leader and provider.
I’m blessed to have him as good example and father figure. And giving me the option to be a stay at home daughter and working being option not requirement and my money being mine and no major bills where I can save money and follow my dreams and have hobbies. I am shopping addict. First step is acknowledging your bad habit and creating a plan and correcting bad habit and replacing it with good habit. And being realistic and not cold turkey. It’s small but I saved $100 on Cashapp savings. And refuse to touch it like I normally do.
Hard pill to swallow I learned bad money habits from my caretaker parent my adopted mom my grandma she goes through money and nothing to show for and pass on to love ones. Thankfully she has life insurance. She been on medicaid , ebt and public housing and have a lack poverty mindset and it’s all I saw.
So at im acknowledging my bad money management skills habits. Save today and wait for tomorrows pleasure. I felt so good saving $100 and what it can grow. I created a budget in note section of iPhone. And I pay my bills with gratitude 🙏. I’m thankful I have money period and more money is coming. Spirit and black ancestors sending me a financial blessing cause I bless black women in need and I currently don’t have much.
But at end of day you can’t tell me I’m not abundant. I know I’m abundant and I’m a money magnet and money grows on trees for me. I have a good relationship with money now. I can’t wait for my sp David match my importance of financial security for us and our 3 future kids. Pass on good money management with my future 3 kids.
I need spend less on mindlessly spending. And pay my two credit cards off and Affirm bill and student loans. I’m thankful my debt is small than others. Spend less on subscriptions and groceries and makeup and wigs.
I’m use the clothes I have now till I’m doing better financially and same for wigs, shoes, makeup, and skincare. Let step dad help me afford beauty treatments to keep my appearance up.
Yesterday I had like consultation coaching session with Destiny the confident hoe. And told her all my movement and how I’m off social media and intentionally using social media for good, fame and money. I can log out and it not control me. Seeing therapist tomorrow. And law of assumption coach I believe on Sunday. I have invested time and money on my level up and glow up and it’s worth it and making shit manifest faster.
So many making ideas and affirming for money so I can invest in businesses and side hustles and free money. 2024 I’m focused, putting action, faith in myself, spirit and beautiful black ancestors. Step dad treating me to Asian Habachi. Today I posted content and need edit productivity vlog for YouTube. Thank you for those who read and share my blog post. Affirming for hella followers. Until next time be well.

Today's translation #365
Yuri!!! on Life official guidebook, Kozuka Takahiko's interview
Part 2.
-- In Yuri!!! on ICE, compositions of jumps have very high levels of difficulty, and a lot of skaters jump different types of quads multiple times.
At first, I was watching the anime thinking: "Is this even possible? I think not", but watching last Four Continents and Worlds, the world of Yuri!!! on ICE has become reality, it seems. I started to think that [what we see in the anime] may not be that impossible. For example, Nathan (Chen) seems to be from that [Yuri!!!] world, I think. When I was watching the anime, I was thinking that it shows not-so-near future and none of those things can actually happen anytime soon, but just two months after the anime ended, it did become reality. Although a few people tried something like that during practice sessions before, Nathan at Four Continents actually jumped 5 quads - lutz, flip, toe loop, toe loop, salchow. And other skaters also had multiple quads [in their programs]. Thinking about it, maybe Victor wanted to rest a little bit longer (laugh)? At 27, I have already retired. But he will go back to competitive skating eventually, I think?
-- At 27, Victor starts to coach, as well - have you ever thought about teaching somebody, when you were still competing?
I'm not sure I've ever thought that I'd want to "teach" somebody. But for a long time I have been saying stuff like: "It would look much better if this skater paid more attention to their toes" or "This person' skating when there is no elements perhaps needs some more work put into it". It's on my mind when I watch [other skaters'] performances - "What this skater should do to get more points?" - I'm not their coach, but I just think about that (laugh). Perhaps, Victor felt something similar, I wonder?
