This is part 1: I love seeing Aiden and Jake as friends, they have so much in common, but I also think they can have TOO much in common. They were both the “friendly” guy in their respective seasons with Miriam/Karol, Ellie/Lake, even if one of these backfired on them. They were also in the main gay couples, and both had trust issues with their partners. They’re not seen as a threat cause neither are exceptionally strong/smart, but they aren’t weak either. They survive mainly due to allies/friends. They’re both bratty twinks as well, and both can be proud to a fault.

Now I don’t want to 100% change them, but S3 AS wastes their dynamics. No hate to Tomden fans, but Aiden and Tom’s relationship is almost exactly the same as Tom and Jake’s or Aiden and James’, just minus the romance. Jake could say Aiden’s lines of dialogue in S3, and it would still be in character. Aiden offers the exact same advice to Tom that Jake would in his situation. You can’t say the same for Gabby, or Riya, or Fiore. Aiden and Tom just don’t develop each other’s characters more than James/Jake already did previously. I was excited to see Tom interact with the Season 2 cast, not Jake 2.0. Season 3 just repeats too much of previous seasons.

So 1) I think Jake and Aiden interacting is interesting cause they can see themselves (their flaws) from an outsider’s perspective. Aiden can help Jake in ways Tom couldn’t. 2) James and Tom could be interesting friends too, they could relate to in the past hiding their true selves, or bond over their love of romance. They could both even feel like they lied/hurt their significant other, and maybe need to redeem themselves. We should have seen these 2 friendships from the start, not the love triangle.

I think they're about on par! They're pretty a pretty active bunch, so they arguably do about as much (if not more) than the canon boys, since it's implied that their training is perhaps a bit, uh, sporadic when we first meet them at the start of the series! But they do have a bit less 'ninja training,' so to speak, though they're very capable martial artists! But, you know, they learned their martial arts in their dad's dojo in Brooklyn as an after-school activity...

Hello it's me! I finally finished my thesis and i wanna try to be more active now! I haven't taken fitpics in a while but i'll try to get back to them!

My 2nd rewrite: Aiden needs more going on. Right now Aiden feels like a desaturated Jake. I can only describe Aiden by saying what he lacks from Jake, he’s Jake with less insecurities. Aiden should have unique traits/flaws of his own too, and he needs his own character arc/plotline than just being Tom’s therapist.

So I’m open to suggestions, but I’d go harder on Aiden being more of a coward than Jake. He’s sacred of thunder and heights (don’t say he got over this offscreen), but make him also afraid of the dark, wild animals, spooky noises, etc. He doesn’t have to be 100% terrified of the outdoors, but I think it’s fitting the “e-boy” is more comfortable on the internet than in nature. Give him a clear weakness to overcome, like Jake has with his insecurities.

In Ep. 14 we saw Aiden get Jake to talk to Conner, and I loved that. Is Aiden afraid of speaking up? Jake is more emotional/sensitive than Aiden, which has it’s pros and cons. BUT, Aiden should also be more cautious/cowardly than Jake, so he can have his own situations where he’s stronger/weaker.

this may be similar to other Ned family stuff ive done but!! Idgaf!! This is our 10/10 husband material family man. Im gonna base it loosely off Home Again since u mentioned that.

Ofc these HCs will include pregnancy, symptoms/changes relating to that and a femme married reader.

While this was an outcome you both expected and wanted, Ned is more than happy when his lady wife tells him the news. Perhaps to some it wouldn't be anything exciting - this would be the third fourth child Ned had, and by a second wife, no less. Yet he's just as happy as if it were his first, and he scoops his wife up in his arms and holds her close for a long while.

It's actually Ned who helps with much of the initial symptoms and worries. He helped Cat through Sansa, as much as she tried to insist it was fine. This sort of attentiveness is considered strange for most lords, but Ned cares about you! What your body is doing is amazing and what you're going through is unimaginable to him. He wants to make sure you're comfortable, that you have plenty of ginger tea for nausea, that you're eating well, and so on. The servants at Winterfell think it's sweet how doted on you are, as if you were carrying the heir.

That said, the further along you are, the more nervous the children become. Jon, Robb and Sansa are all old enough to know this is how Catlyn passed, even if they don't have the details. It gives Sansa anxiety in particular, as even at six, she understands this is something women do that leads to them not being around anymore. She becomes more clingy, more nervous, and has trouble believing it'll be okay this time. You and Ned do your best to reassure the children, even bringing in Maester Luwin to insist that it'll be alright.

Also, it must be said that Ned takes a liking to the glow and plumpness your body takes on as the moons pass. Quite a liking, though he becomes horribly flustered if you point that out. Perhaps you shouldn't tease; plenty of lords ignore their wives during this time and think nothing of it. Feeling extra attractive and being so doted on a luxury most ladies don't get.

So im terrible at naming musicians and such, so ill go for genre and general taste!

Marius: "whatever's on the radio", and old French music his parents would listen to. He probably likes any music that gets him pumped and has a hard beat. Willing to listen to any genre and is terrible at describing what he likes! Doesn't have a spotify or itunes, just types the song into youtube and blasts that from his cracked phone. Loves a handful of French radio stations he streams on his phone; the quality is fucked and it drains his battery but he doesnt care.

Jack: Exclusively oldies bluegrass and gospel bc thats all his parents would play. Modern pop country and christian rock confounds him. He could swear his pa said something about drums being the devil's instrument. Metal is scary until he reads the lyrics and has a small mental shutdown. Just like him fr fr... thinks Marius' French stations are incomprehensible but he says nothing bc he doesnt have a better suggestion.

Lottie: A huuuge pop girlie, as well as jazz and 90s r&b. Yes jazz is a very broad genre, but she'd like so much of it, especially more unique or weird sounds. Doesnt "get" hyperpop or tiktok music and worries she's getting old bc of that. LOVES musicals and would likely be a professional in the modern times, and if not that, she'd be in local theaters.

Eveline: Still uses cassettes and CDs, and theyre all classical, opera recordings and vocalists, mostly European. Enjoys some musicals. She thinks she's kinda up to date on modern pop music, but when you ask her what's the last pop album she listened to, she'll say Celine Dion's Falling Into You. She'd start sobbing if she got to see Natalie Dessay.

Máire: Huge punk and rock girlie, especially the Irish scene. Probably exclusively listens to punk tbh. She'd frequent the clubs and smoke too much in the corner while appearing disinterested but is actually vibing so hard w the music. Really loves making mixtapes and recordings, never got into vinyls or cds. Wants spotify to burn and die.

Malwina: LOOOVES pop and is a massive Britney Spears, Selena, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson fan. 90s-2000s pop is her favorite by far and those are the only CDs she owns. Probs has a beatup little red Ipod she's had since middle school; it was a hand me down from her oldest cousin and she treasures it even if it's "old". Queen of pirating and burning music but by god she paid for her Mariah Carey and Britney Spears cds. She wanted the pretty inserts and lyric booklets.

Slyvester: Loves a lot of swing and oldies from his parent's day, and Italian vocalists his wife adores. They played Andrea Bocelli almost exclusively at the wedding. Finds the music his sons listen to bizarre but doesn't mind the rock and alt rock too much.

I'm also in a bit of a rut, mainly some summer things and having issues with friends not reciprocating care. I'm doing some unpaid work in a few weeks (it's not volunteering, but it's like... an unpaid internship... kinda?), so I'm hoping that having something to do will help me get back into the swing of life.

I'm really looking forward to autumn!!! I don't have any specific plans yet, but this September some books I've been looking forward to are getting published/released. I'm also hoping to bake a bit more, but we'll see if that actually happens.
