Last one I swear, because I have an assignment due tomorrow at 9 am and won’t have time to do it later. And I have 40 minutes until I have to be somewhere.

“Hey babe,” Yuu calls out to you, coming around the corner from the kitchen into the living room. “I’m gonna hop in the shower.”

“Mkay,” you answer quietly. You pull the neckline of Yuu’s hoodie up to your mouth, eyes on the tv in front of you. 

Yuu stares at you. “Um....” Usually you jump up and race him to the bathroom to shower with him. It typically leads to some spicy time, or just some casual loving on each other’s bodies. And now you’re just sitting there. You didn’t even lift your head. 

Then his eyes drift to the hoodie. It’s his oversized one, the one that you wear when.... He mentally smacks himself before walking over and standing in front of him. 

“Hey, move,” you whine at him, shrinking down into the hoodie. 

“No. Come shower with me.” 

“I don’t wanna.” 

“Yes you do. You want to, but your brain is being mean to you. Come on.” He holds out his hand to you. 

You stare at it for a good minute before sighing. He wouldn’t give up. Sometimes his determination is a curse. You take his hand and let him lead you to the bathroom. He takes his shirt off and you quickly look away. 

Yuu notices and frowns. This was not good. You wouldn’t even look at him. He clears his throat to gain your attention. “Take the hoodie off.” 

“No thank you.” 

“Babe. You’re not gonna shower in my hoodie. Take it off.” 

You sigh again and take it off. You catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and move your gaze to the ground. You gasp when Yuu’s hand makes you look up into the mirror. “Yuu--” 

“Shh. Lemme show you something.” His other hand smooths down your arm. “You’re so perfect. Your arms give the best hugs in the world. I dunno what I would do without your hugs. They make me so happy.” Then it goes to your stomach. “I love holding your tummy. It’s so soft. Makes you so cuddly. You’re my favorite teddy bear.” Then your thighs. “And these.... They’re so soft. They make the most amazing pillows. They’re squishy, too. They make me happy.” 

You sniffle softly, watching his movements. Yuu’s hands trace your shoulders. “Your back and shoulders are so strong. I could stare at them all day. I love watching the muscles work.” He meets your gaze in the mirror. “There are gonna be good and bad days. Where you love and hate yourself. But I will tell you every day how damn perfect you are. I will show you if I have to. Don’t let your brain be mean to you, okay?” 

You nod and turn to him, eyes big and watery. “Mhm.” 

“And you’ll tell me next time you’re having those thoughts about yourself?” 

You nod again. 

“That’s my boy.” Yuu kisses you softly, cupping your face. He pulls back a little. “Now let’s take that shower.”

When Noya has to travel for games, he leaves behind a hoodie for Yaku, who douses it in Yuu’s cologne. 

Yaku’s favorite position to sleep in is on Noya’s chest, with his face buried in Noya’s neck. 

Noya makes a dish for Yaku called Morisuke no Momo. It’s a meat dish with a peach glaze. 

Noya will fight anyone who makes fun of or hurts Yaku. He’s super protective. He fought Yaku’s dad at their wedding. 

Their anniversary is June 12.
