Don’t know why it took me so long but here you go! I was actually planning on writing about him first but then my friend got horny so Ao Bing happened before him, sorry Yunxiang </3

Yandere Li Yunxiang Headcanons 

These are my interpretations of his persona and none of these are 100% accurate. I don’t condone any of these actions in real life and all of this is purely fictional and should be taken as such. 

I’ve seen the movie like twice so I hope it’s enough, but until then I have this much to offer so hope you like them! Anyway, I see him as overprotective, possessive, manipulative, and controlling (depending on the scene). 

Okay so I know it’s not a lot but he’s, in my opinion, a very easy yandere? Like I can kinda think from the top of my head for traits. For starters, in the movie, he not only expresses a hard-headed and very stubborn personality, but he is also very emotional leaning towards anger. We can see that he can joke with Kasha and carry a friendship/conversation, but with his father, we can see that he has very different ideas and can stick to them. If he is angered he can very much act on it or avoid it together. Offered money to forget what Ao Bing did? Yeah, no his idea is an eye for an eye and he isn’t switching. Kasha, his father, brother, is very overprotective of his family and friends. 

His S/O is no different. He has one before him finding out he is Nezha? He’d be very overprotective of them and quite possessive. You and he would have a very serious and joking relationship. I see it as it would be like his and Kasha? Kinda like that, just obviously a bit more intimate. Does someone jokingly say something about you? Harmful comment or flirtatious comment? His tone might say joke, but his eyes and actions reveal his anger. Funny enough, while he is very stubborn and I see him as wanting to ensure that EVERYONE knows you’re his, he would never push it. He knows what is okay and what isn’t, while it may be difficult to admit he knows. 

An easier and less confusing way to describe the vibe I get is this. Try to be the dominant and always right, if they are proven wrong or do something wrong they will never apologize and either make it up some other way. With him though, I see him owning up to his mistakes just never admitting them out loud because it’s something he doesn’t want to express. The obsessive and possessive I also see as a common trait in wanting to be dominant and right. Regardless, it’s something he has. Now let’s get into more detail if his S/O replaced Kasha’s place and lost their leg? Ao Bing is gonna die (sooner) and literally, everyone will feel his wrath. If the clan has ever hurt his darling or affected them in any way, they will suffer as well. His anger issues also play a big role in this, his anger is primarily his driving force in controlling Nezha, and sooner or later he gets the hang of it without it. 

Manipulative and here is why. Have you ever jokingly said something and been like “Oh I guess you just don’t like me?” or something similar but then you encounter someone who HAS done it seriously. That’s him. If you ever argue, he WILL pull that stupid card. Gosh, I know people who do that and it’s so fucking annoying. Also sorry Anon, you asked for headcanons but I’m just slandering this poor man. That’s basically it along with gaslighting. He gives me toxic machismo vibes. 

Danger level? 6/10. Despite my slandering, he’s like Bakugo and many other characters with similar personalities. It’s hard to admit how one feels and they can’t. Sure, they get angry at times and it’s hard sometimes but while they don’t mean it they can’t control themselves. Sometimes they will apologize or sometimes they will make it up to you. Deep down, he cares for you and doesn’t want to lose you but it’s hard admitting the truth. Pretty sure I butchered his personality and this is not what you wanted so I am so sorry but yeah, that’s all I got.

• ao bing seriously loves how much you’d just attach yourself onto him. it makes him feel warm on the inside that, most likely, he’d never admit to you because he’s too shy to say stuff like that to your face.

• if you show up in his study while he’s doing paperwork and whatnot, he’d sort of just hope that you’d climb onto his lap and stay there until he’s done with whatever he’s doing.

• when you do, almost like instinct, one of his arms would snake around you and his hand would settle on the small of your back, rubbing gentle circles there as you pressed your head against the crook of his neck.

• you just liked the feeling of his warmth seeping into your skin when your bodies come into contact.

li yunxiang

• you were afraid that yunxiang would have found it bothersome, how quiet you were and how often you’d crave to have some kind of physical affection, given your past relationships where your partners broke up with you for that same reason.

• but he really didn’t mind at all!

• especially if you’d catch him by surprise, like subtly locking pinkies under the table, or giving him random backhugs from time to time.

• it’s just a reminder of how much you love and care for him, and he loves that.

• yunxiang mostly likes it when you’d press up against him on the couch or while sleeping together, with his arm thrown around your waist and feeling your muscles immediately loosening as your body made contact.

• “i love you s’much,” yunxiang would mumble before pressing a kiss to your forehead, bringing you into a tight embrace.

• you didn’t really know what to make of li yunxiang at the start.

• despite how often kasha assured that he wasn’t as bad as you thought, you didn’t want to believe it because all you saw was li yunxiang frequently getting into trouble. if anything, he was really just a menace, in your opinion.

• you didn’t go out of your way to talk to him, either, so he was typically the one that would (try) to strike a conversation with you, though his attempts would result in no success whatsoever because you wouldn’t really…cooperate.

• oftentimes his attempts are just due to the fact that he thinks you’re really pretty and wants to get down to the reason why you don’t like him so much.

• he asks kasha about you sometimes, and since you wouldn’t spit out the reason yourself, he has kasha tell him.

• and after learning that the reason why you wouldn’t really cooperate with him was because he was such a troublemaker (and a smuggler at that), li yunxiang tries to…tone it down a bit.

• he’s really desperate to get along with you.

• he tries to make himself more…welcoming when he sees you? makes an effort to smile more, just doing very friendly things in attempt to bring you closer.

• if li yunxiang’s feeling bold enough, he’ll probably bring you flowers or some cheesy shit like that.

• regardless of what you thought of him, the effort was really flattering nonetheless, so you thought you could try and at least be welcoming back, too.

• he was surprised when you actually contributed to the conversation the first time.

• he saw you walking down the street, so—almost like instinct—he went up to you and said, “hi, y/n. whatcha up to?”

• he was expecting for you to ignore him, per usual, but much to his surprise, you say, “nothing. just had to go out and buy some things for dinner later.” you hold up two plastic bags, filled with vegetables and protein.

• “it looks heavy. let me carry it for you,” li yunxiang insists, already taking the bags out of your hands before you can protest.

• “thank you.” you say in a quiet voice, very light heat rushing to your cheeks because of the gesture.

• it was a really nice few minute walk back to your place. you could feel yourself liking him more the more you talked during the way there (the conversation was mostly him talking about his most recent races and motorbike mods, not that you really minded).

• “well, this is me,” you say, eventually stopping in front of an apartment complex. “thank you again for carrying those for me.”

• “it’s no problem, really,” li yunxiang says as he’s handing you back the bags. “it was nice actually talking to you.”

• “it was,” you feel yourself smile. “i’ll see you around, okay?”

• “yeah, i’ll see you,” he says, waving and turning to leave.

• hm, you think to yourself as you watch him leave before going into the building, i guess i really did have the wrong impression on him, after all.

Of course! I’m like 76% sure I wrote some for Ao Bing but not for Li Yunxiang, also I’m taking my Nezha masterlist down for a bit while I update it!! 

Ao Bing 

Can someone say, spoiled rotten? This man LOVES to flex his wealth so high end meals, events, and shopping sprees are common. Whether or not that’s something you’re into and like, he’d still offer. Dinner with his dad is a no unless you’re rich and important. Aside from gifting and acts of services, love and affection is also important. I see him as the person who truly wants attention. 

Yes he loves going out but with you around, he likes staying in as well. Staying with you in your shared room and speaking about your likes, dislikes, and what you want. He also prefers silence and cuddling. I know it’s short, but it’s a simple dating life. Also the fact that I don’t know what else the city has to offer from what I saw in the movie that they’d go to

Li Yunxiang 

He doesn’t have a lot of money so most dates are something small but meaningful. Late night drives around the town/city and he’d also invite you to his races! After that it’s to a small place that has meaning to the both of you. I know that the life that he has with his dad isn’t the best, but I feel like deep down he’d want to introduce you to his dad so maybe dinner with his family?

Aside from small rides, I see you chilling with him at his work place waiting for him to be done. He wouldn’t mind driving you around so maybe taking you to places you need/want to go to. Another one I see is the mountain, the one where the clinic is. I think that one is common. It’s hard for me to picture a date with him mostly because he’d make any date, no matter what/where, memorable. Memorable talks, acts of service, and small acts of affection are a must!

Soft Nezha relationship headcanons, like what ways he would show his s/o affection?

Of course! Again I only write for New Gods: Nezha Reborn! 

Li YunXiang

A relationship with him would be normal? You’d be a normal couple, having fun on small dates. Given his status and situation you probably wouldn’t have much expensive or a lavish lifestyle but that’s okay! The romance is important after all! Small dates and small gifts would be appreciated, notes, cooked meals, and late night drives! These dates probably aren’t over the top like in movies with restaurants and shopping, but something small and casual. Like I said, late night drives, cheering him on while he races, going along with him when he goes on errands, etc. 

Arguments may be a bit common with him. He’s stubborn and rarely uses his head. Small arguments such as, “you shouldn’t take this job!” or “listen to reason! Think before acting!” He’d be a tad bit hesitant to introduce you to his family. His brother no problem, but his father? I can see the dinner invites and the drama already. You’d sit and eat your food, his father asking you about your occupation and your life. You’re polite as always and mind your manners, until his dad starts saying, “I wonder how someone so respectable could be with someone who doesn’t contribute to society” which leads to Li YunXiang storming out of the house with you in hand, or without you. 

I see his love language being acts of service, words of affirmation, and physical touch. He doesn’t mind doing small deeds for you, like driving you to work or around the city. Probably wouldn’t say “I love you” as often, but he would say things like, “I care about you” and “you can trust me.” He isn’t all that serious and can joke, in fact his favorite thing would be teasing you. Leaving sly comments slip out or just speed up on his motorcycle leaving you to desperately clutch onto him. Physical touches are more like pats? Like head pats and hugs, kisses on the forehead or knuckles.

What would nezha and ao bing's reaction be to their crush telling them they can't be in a relationship with them because they only see them as a younger brother. I hear guys completely break down after hearing that from a girl. And since their both kinda hot heads I'm curious how they'd react, just giving up completely or still going for it. 😁

Yeah no you’re right about that last one. Like jokes aside and all, a lot of people break down when they’re rejected which can lead to them being harmed. I don’t think Li Yunxiang would do that (Ao Bing might), but please be careful in those situations and always heed caution. 

Based on the ‘younger brother’ I’m assuming you’re older than them. When telling Li Yunxiang, he’d be a bit disappointed but wouldn’t push you. He’d leave you for a bit to clear his head but he’ll be back. This is a bit tricky because I can see him as still wanting to purse a romantic relationship with you or simply be content with being by your side. Being a protector is his number one thing. When Kasha lost her legs he wanted to make it right, when his brother was in a coma he sought out revenge and as well as the death of his father. He even went to protect his love interest in the film as well. Li Yunxiang wouldn’t actively seek out trouble and put you in harms way, but if the situation ever arises he’ll definitely take advantage of it. If someone harasses you he’ll step in to help. If you ever get mugged or involved in an accident, he’ll get revenge and make them pay. This is to show you that without him, you’re in danger. You need him to protect you because who else can you depend on? Ao Bing on the other hand, does trifle in your situations. You reject him, he’ll be stunned and confused. Why?? He’d ask if this is a joke and he will get mad. He’d calm down though, you’d apologize again but that’s that. You’re not interested because despite you caring for him, you don’t love him. He’d do the flaunting, as opposed to Li Yunxiang who wants to protect you and shows you can depend on him. Ao Bing would do the ‘oh you like that fit I got you? Well you could have more if you were with me’ and things like that. He’d probably tweak some things in order to put you in a strange situation so that you come to him for help. Both similar, but Li Yunxiang is the ‘I’m always here for you don’t worry’ and Ao Bing is the ‘Come to me for help you know you need it’. Hope I’m making myself clear if not I’m sorry :((

NO CUZ LIKE SAME. I originally wrote for Ao Bing because my best friend mentioned how there was no content of him so you know I had to make her happy. SO MANY AO BING REQUESTS AFTER THAT THOUGH (NOT THAT I MIND!!!). I love writing for y’all <3, but I nobody asked for anyone else until someone asked for Sun Wukong (Masked Man) and then it was Li Yunxiang, lowkey was confused why nobody asked for anyone else. LIKE IT’S SO PERFECT!? Anyway, here you are and I hope you enjoy!

While I have written general headcanons for both of them, this is them fighting over an S/O. Only way I see it is if you somehow manage to interact with them both. Like how Kasha is an entertainer but also mingles with Li Yunxiang? Like that, but I’m thinking more that you’re either an entertainer or a medical practitioner. If I remember correctly, his spine was ripped out and had to be infused hence his metallic spine. With that being said, what if his S/O was a great doctor but preferred to give back to the communities so they didn’t charge as much for their practices. Maybe having Li Yunxiang run to get you supplies or sometimes would come and assist you in your job. You grow close to him, his brother, his dad, and Kasha. He appreciates all that you do and has vowed to keep you safe just like his family. 

Ao Guang is looking for a good doctor to help Ao Bing and shit, you fit the description. He drives by your location, picks you and explains the offer. I’m assuming you’d agree some way or another and so your life as Ao Bing’s doctor comes into play. Here you are, tending to his wounds, though he can be a bit harsh and a dick, after spending time with him you see past all that. You see a boy who grew up in a terrible homelife and under the influence of his father grew unloved and spoiled. Luckily he isn’t too far gone since he does happen to have his moments where he reflects on his own actions. Talking to him and trying to get him to realize that he doesn’t need his father nor this hatred. You’re there for him when no one is, he feels comfortable with you. 

Now, Li Yunxiang finds out about your work arrangement and is furious. Let’s say that what happened with the whole bike and killing the cat (I WILL NEVER FORGIVE HIM FOR THAT) has happened. He doesn’t know him by name so he just refers to him the bastard who took Kasha’s legs. You and doctor Su do what you can and when they describe in detail what the man who did it looked like, you realize that it’s Ao Bing. It would be a dick move to hide it from them so you come clean, he’s pissed off. He took Kasha’s legs and is also the one who you’re helping for whatever reason(I headcanon that it’s blackmail or a I’ll make your life hell if you refuse/I can give you riches)? Yeah no, he’s pissed the fuck off and says you’re never to go there again. 

Ao Bing on the other hand finds out that you associate with him via his servant, the bastard who burned him and nearly killed him. He’ll do whatever he can and tell his father everything so that he can give you permanent living arrangements with them so that you’ll never see that bastard again. You’ll be with him and he will lavish you in riches. When they come to face each other or it get’s even more confrontational, they’ll probably fight and we all saw how that happened. 

In terms of them, Ao Bing is the more let me spoil you and show my affection via gifts whereas Li Yunxiang is more like let me protect you and you need me to help you.

I have an idea for Ao Bing and Nezha react to a crush who is the child of the Chinese Trickster God Sun Wukong. And they are a trickster and mischief deity themselves. They decide the whole history repeat thing is pretty boring and decides to make a twist for shit and giggles. (Much to the other gods dismay and Sun Wukong's amusement,)

Oh that’s interesting, but a twist how? If you think about it their is a probability that they too get reborn as well. As we’ve seen in Nezha:Reborn, it is possible to acquire memories back from past lives. If you reborn, I’m going to say you always have your memories back and if not then that’s even better. If you think about it, Sun Wukong did end up meddling in when he was ‘training’ Li Yunxiang but it did more good than anything. I’m thinking that the reader definitely has meddled before. Maybe ends up being a devils advocate and causing mayhem between the two because you know they’re just gonna be reborn again so might as well see if you can cause different results with your actions. You keep playing and playing trying to break the “loop”, maybe you end up connecting with one of them or both in past lives? Maybe their love and infatuation for you got carried to their now present lives and will stop at nothing to get you in their arms because they love you so much! You have much to catch up with of course! Maybe you enjoy the constant fighting that occurs to win your heart or maybe you’re just confused and wondering why Ao Bing’s reincarnation and Nezha’s claim to love you despite you never meeting them. The possibilities might be endless and who knows what the future holds?

Ok here's the idea! How would Ao Bing and Nezha learning their s/o is a demigod? OwO (Demigod s/o's parent can from any mythology Greek, Chinese, Norse, Mesopotamian, Celtic.. you know the drill XD)

Ngl, I haven’t consumed the novels in so long that I forgot a lot so please don’t hate me lmao- 

Anyways, that’s an interesting take. If I remember the film correctly, you *could* consider them demigods. They are essentially reborn since Li Yunxiang isn’t *actually* Nezha, but he is. Anyway, they’ll be more than concerned. Throughout history and if you watch the 2019 film, it provides SOME background knowledge. If they are fated in history to repeat and him and Ao Bing are destined to fight, then it’s fate and will end the same unless someone changes that. Well, if that itself is fate, where do YOU play into this? Are you siding with Ao Bing? Nezha? No one? Are you fated to die? Live? How do you die? What’s your role? No mistake that Ao Guang would certainly make use of you or seek you out if need be. Li Yunxiang would do everything he could to protect you and make sure you stay out of it, but history will always repeat itself and we can only hope that things change.

Ok! How about a angst platonic reader x Nezha where the reader is a Huli Jing fox spirit who was friends with the boys back at the 2019 movie. (Nezha Reborn) Where after Ao Bing's Death reader and Nezha talk about the past. Perhaps the reader admit she wishes to stop history from repeating and just wants to see her closest friends alive. Even if the friendship the three lost never truly recovers.

That would hurt a lot, especially with what happened in Nezha:Reborn.

When Ao Bing caused Kasha to lose her leg, Li Yunxiang was so mad. If he lost his leg it would only own up to what he did to Kasha but he didn’t. Let’s face it, Ao Bing was a BITCH in this damn film. Like he killed the cat and toon Kasha’s leg? Nah we ain’t doing that. I think it hurts the most considering that the reader gets to experience this all over again. Unlike in the 2019 film where they technically all were somewhat on par and did become friends, in every past life that friendship has been lost and never recovered. Born in two different worlds, Li Yunxiang was born into some poverty but managed to get along with the others whereas Ao Bing was rich and didn’t get along with anyone because he’d always use them or appear weak to them. It would be extremely sad because I don’t see this friendship ever coming back unless they are born together on the same level. (Thinking of making a fic where they are born as childhood friends and try to break it for the sake of their friendship as well as their friendship with Reader but maybe shit goes down and they want to protect reader in their own way or smth).
