We lost both Sun Lang and Qian Zhao in one episode 😭And Yu Shi San having to fight and lose his brothers and look after the others with the belief that there will be no help from Ning Yuan Zhou since Yu Shi San saw the post about Ren Ru Yi's "death" and knew that NYZ would follow her in death.
No! Yu Shi San sent Yuan Lu away from the frontline to be the messenger so he won't be in danger yet he still died!
Also to think of what is going on at the frontline of them having to hold for Yuan Lu's journey and then the 3 days while Li Tong Guang and Yang Ying were under house arrest and all the freaking romance mess. Like seriously people are dying here!!
Also my mom is just so annoyed and mad that while his brothers of Six Realms Hall are fighting and dying left and right, Ning Yuan Zhou is just focused on romance. And you know what, after the pause for their impromptu wedding, I'd agreed. Yuan Lu did not run with all his strength to death to deliver frontline news and ask for support for no immediate reaction, especially from his precious Ning Da Ge, and the man didn't even know his brothers died until later.
At the same time though, the multi-shipping in this drama for me is crazy! But I definitely like the subtleties of all the side pairings more.

Oh noooo is SML Chang Hua Sen?
I mainly know him as Li Tong Guang from A Journey to Love and it looks like he's doomed to not end up with FL in this one either.
I loved how he played LTG though despite that character being incredibly annoying for a lot of the time, and I love his look. So I'm excited to see him here.

I have come up with the perfect (personally) "a journey to love" alternate ending.
OK, so, after thinking about it all night. I have come up with the perfect (personally) "a journey to love" alternate ending.
The ending, which is less painful than their death, will give them justice but will still hurt me.
*Qian Zhao didn't die. He just went into a coma.* BUT! on the day where Emperor Wu died, where he got bombed because of that disabled lord (I forgot his name), he died in Qian Zhao arms. The emperor said sorry multiple times to Qian Zhou; he didn't stop to say sorry until his last breath. and Qian Zhao will cry, saying that the emperor should live because he's the one who wants to kill him.
*Sun Lang didn't die. But he lost one of his arms.* He's going to be devastated by the fact that he lost one of his arms. saying that he's not going to be a hero. Yu Shisan will hug him and assure him that, even from the very first time, he's already a hero. That one of his arms is gone is a sign that he's a hero. Hence, after seeing Qian Zhou in a coma and Sun Lang lose one of his arms, *Yu Shi San will still send Yuan Lu to the capital an.* BUT! Yuan Lu will meet Ruyi and Ning Yuanzhou. During the time when Yuan Lu passed out on his horse, Ning Yuanzhou would see him and immediately help him. Yuan Lu will rattle Ning Yuanzhou about how he should hurry up to help Shisan. with the fact that Yu Shisan is all alone, so they need to hurry up. And just like that, they left Yuan Lu in Mei Niang hand. And with that, Yuan Lu will not meet Princess too, but he will (in poin number 10).
*Li Tong Goang action of trying to marry Ruyi in episode 37 will not happen!* Because that is so unnecessary. Yknow, they already made li tong guang stop pursuing ruyi in the episode before it, and suddenly they made him be like that again?? duh, weird.
*Li tong guang will still interfere ruyi ning yuanzhou action in the palace (the one where they killed prince 2).* and because he will not tried to marry ruyi (like i said in poin 3). He will immediately go to he county with chu yue and still married to yang ying. Ruyi and ning yuanzhou too will go to wu like in episode 38.
*and with that, the war will still go on.* but qian zhou would not be participating although he's already wake up from his coma because he will treat the war victims. Yuan lu (that passed out because of exhaustion) would not go to war but he will made equipment for war. sun lang would be knocked unconscious by ning because he was constantly trying to go to war. *Yu shisan would still lose his eyes :(* BUT! he's not going to die! Yes, He would feel devastated by the fact that he lost his vision. However, the gang will not leave his side. The gang will stay by his side, assuring him that everything is going to be okay. And because of this, yu shi san --the one who always keep his feeling to himself-- will learn to open up. And chu yue --someone who have never been in a relationship-- will learn to set aside her feelings and comfort other people.
*Li Tong Guang will not be as reckless as he did in episode 39 and 40.* Cause in my opinion, in the early episode, they showed us that Li Tong Guang is someone who is used to go to war. its weird to think that someone who is used to war doesn't know the pitfalls of war (like in episode 39 the one that killed deng hui). Hence, Ning yuanzhou and ruyi too will not died!!
and with this, in the last battle where reinforcement from lord dan yang come, the gang will fight like they did the first time they fight together. *Sun lang will be yu shisan eyes, and yu shisan will be sun lang arms!!* (damn i cried imagining this…). qian zhao, yuan lu, chu yue, crimson guard, six realms, mei niang would participate in war too. Ning yuanzhou and ruyi would kill the king, just like how ruyi capture zhou jian in their first war. With that they will get their peace!! (continue on note)

As well as Sima Guang cutting the wrong part and making it look as if Li Shimin drowned his own army, the phrase "季年疾病,刑法濫酷;太宗承之,吏文亦深" is also a good example of why we need to look at the Twenty-Four Histories in addition to the Zizhi Tongjian.
This phrase is a paraphrasing of the Weishu's treatise on criminal punishment. However, the language used here makes it look as if Tuoba Si continued his father's later cruelty, when the Weishu makes it clear that this was not the case.
"季年災異屢見,太祖不豫,綱紀褫頓,刑罰頗為濫酷" is the first of the original version. It means "in his later years disaster was frequently seen, Tuoba Gui was not at ease, the laws were damaged and destroyed, and punishments were rather excessively cruel"
From this two mistakes in the Zizhi Tongjian is already made: the first is that the punishments were cruel, not the penal laws. The rule of law was destroyed and in shambles rather than excessively cruel. The second is that the excessively cruel punishments are supposed to show that the administration had deteriorated, while Sima Guang seems to have used it to show Tuoba Gui's cruelty.
And the original wording on Tuoba Si's laws are "太宗即位,修廢官,恤民隱,命南平公長孫嵩、北新侯安同對理民訟,庶政復有敍焉。帝既練精庶事,為吏者浸以深文避罪", which means "Tuoba Si ascended the throne, restored abandoned officials, relieved the people's suffering, and ordered the Duke of Nanping Baba Song and Marquis of Beixin An Tong to manage the people's lawsuits, and common governance again had appraisal. The emperor was proficient in government affairs, and those who served as officials gradually because of their strict laws avoided crime."
This indicates that Tuoba Si did not continue Tuoba Gui's cruelty. He restored those unjustly dismissed under Tuoba Gui, and he had his officials manage lawsuits. This led to appraised governance, which means that Tuoba Si fixed the problems of Tuoba Gui's late reign. The excessive cruelty was because Tuoba Gui's administration had deteriorated, so this language saying that Tuoba Si fixed these problems means that this problem would also be fixed.
As well, the Weishu and Zizhi Tongjian give two different causes to Tuoba Si's officials being strict in their enforcement of laws. The Weishu attributes this to Tuoba Si being good at finding mistakes in legal judgements, while the Zizhi Tongjian attributes this to the harsh punishments for these mistakes.
While usually "深文" refers to strict laws, I doubt it means such in this case. Tuoba Si is described in his biography as having been lenient and he is described as adopting lenient solutions to criminal cases given by the ministers. I don't think it makes much sense for him to pressure his officials into adopting strict laws. "深文" is more likely referring to the "strict" (read: proper) enforcement of laws by officials to avoid making mistakes, or to them being well-versed in civil affairs or the law, which does work as a translation of the phrase "深文", even if it is not the standard or most common one.
Furthermore, Tuoba Gui's cruelty led to his officials and staff becoming afraid of him, leading to more problems. The officials were not sure of their position and became lazy and idle, not supervising government affairs. They also robbed the people and thieves were common, and the entire government ground to a halt. Tuoba Si's common governance having appraisal means that these problems must have ended under him, as there was no longer this climate of fear. We can also see this by the fact that refugee activity again became common under Tuoba Si, which indicates that his governance was one people were willing to live under, so it could not have been excessively harsh.
The Songshu also does not defame Tuoba Si as a tyrant, but defames Tuoba Gui and Tuoba Dao as such. If Tuoba Si did use the same cruel punishments as Tuoba Gui, the Songshu would have used it to defame him. Its lack of complaint about Tuoba Si being cruel or tyrannical suggests that Tuoba Si's governance was more benevolent than his father's or his son's.
When the Weishu says that Tuoba Si punished the offenses of the ministers using canings, it records that Tuoba Si was "intelligent in examination" rather than "strict", which indicates that the Weishu saw this aspect of his governance as a positive. It describes Tuoba Si as being lenient and virtuous, so he could not have been too strict himself, which limited how strict those under him could be on average. While it describes Tuoba Si's officials as strictly enforcing laws, the language used is rather oblique and could have a variety of meanings if the words are taken separately.
I think that what Sima Guang meant by 承之 was something like 即位 or 承业, which refers to Tuoba Si succeeding to the throne rather than continuing his father's punishments.
The word "亦" is also a strange choice. Tuoba Gui's magistrate officials were never noted to be strict in his later years. In his later years, the Weishu writes that the laws were damaged and not properly applied, which does not fit a description of a judge that is "深文" which refers to being strict and rigorous in legal matters. The officials are described as not helping to administer the country, being idle and stealing from the people, which means that they were not being strict and rigorous in legal matters and avoiding errors; they were not properly applying laws and making many errors. Perhaps it's meant to be 'again' and is supposed to show Tuoba Si's restoration of order? Or Sima Guang meant 'in addition' and just made an unusual word choice, or he meant 'all'.
