I also would like to share something: For the past 3 years, I have worked as a Survey Research Interviewer at a local University of mine under the Public Health department, meaning I call random numbers of people to see if they want to do a health survey or not. The surveys we do are done all across the U.S., and recently, the most common survey that we do (that is under the State's health department and the CDC) added questions regarding sexual orientation and gender identity.

I just want to tell you that if you don't want to do the survey, please say something like "You're not interested," "Take me out of your list," or "Don't call me again." You can even curse us out if you wish to. Because if you just hang up on us, then we are forced to call your number again in the future (probably that same week or month). But if you say anything that I listed, then we will take your number off the list immediately.

If you do want to do the survey, don't mention anything about you being queer or trans/nonbinary. You can lie to us because we have no choice but to code the answer you've told us. I personally skip the question about sexual orientation and gender identity to protect whoever I'm interviewing because even though the survey we do claims to be anonymous, I live in a red state so I'm not taking any chances.

Please do what it takes to protect yourself these next 4 years.

Something that definitely made it harder for me to realize I'm aroace was my love for movies with a good romance. The longing I felt while watching them, I assumed was longing for romance, but really, it's a longing for movie magic!

I want to be in a world with spells and mythical creatures! I want to go to balls! I want to travel to distant planets! I want to break out in song and dance with a full ensemble!

I'm not longing for love but adventure and creativity.

In honor of pride month, I will share a TGAMM fact I learned when I rewatched part of the Project: Enhappification encore video regarding everyone’s favorite gay ghost couple.

According to Bill and Bob, while Geoff and Jeff have been partners for 100 years, they’ve actually lived in completely different times. Geoff is the oldest of the two and died around 150/160 years before Jeff died.

This is what I’m getting from that fact:

-Jeff and Geoff became a couple around the 1920s if their 100th anniversary is in the early 2020’s.

-Jeff likely died around the 1920s or just before that.

-If the math is correct, then Geoff was in fact alive around or just before the American Revolution. Yes, really.

-This would explain why Geoff’s assigned town for scaring was in Connecticut (which was hinted at in the ‘Jinx vs’ episode) because it was one of the original 13 colonies around the time he would have been alive.

-This also explains why Geoff is so clueless about President Lincoln, because Lincoln was only around AFTER Geoff passed, and there’s no telling how busy Geoff was with his scare reports to know about Lincoln while he was around.

-I just did a quick research and considering how Geoff was said to have died…. Chocolate actually WAS a thing in America during that time period. So everything still lines up with what little was given about Geoff’s death in the show.

Queer-nections /// Custom Connections Game

I made a custom connections game for the first time called "Queer-nections" because why not! Feel free to play, share, and reblog with your score, I wanna know how you did :D

Connections is a game where the player is given 16 words and asked to sort them into 4 categories of 4 words. Usually there is not a common theme among the categories, but with most custom connections there are. The difficulty of the categories is shown through colors, with the least difficult being Yellow, then Green, then Blue, and finally Purple as the most difficult.

Yes, I am aware that cis, allo, and hetero people can have other identities that make them queer, and they are valid. I was simply trying to make the long title shorter. Still though, they are terms used to describe the people who are not or are the opposite or etc of the identity being discussed and etc. It's not that deep, so please don't come for me or be offended on your own slash someone else's behalf. Why are romantic relationships expected in our society? Like it’s not even a case of most people have them, it’s a case of once you reach a certain age, you *should* have been in one otherwise ur classed as lonely and people feel bad. I’ve been single since I was literally 12 years old and that wasn’t particularly a serious relationship, yet I’m absolutely living my best life bc my friends mean the world to me and ofc since the age of 12 I’ve gotten to know myself better and realised I’m aro but idk it just feels weird and that one relationship I did have was just bc I thought it was what people did.

Essentially I just wish friendships were valued as much as romantic relationships bc there have been times friends have left me and it’s still hurt but people don’t see that as being as bad as a breakup? Like I get breakups hurt but don’t use that to make my feelings less valid as I’ll never experience a true romantic breakup. Friendships and romantic relationships are essentially still both relationships, they’re different but not different levels
