thinking about how misa amane was stuck in an empty prison of a luxurious building floor right after going through hell in confinement and seeing her sort-of boyfriend get fake shot in the head (and promised she would be executed as well). genuinely she would’ve been absolutely craving any sort of kind human contact. do you think the memory gaps even registered to her or was she just used to the emptiness in her soul. do you think the oddness of her and light’s relationship even registered or was she just used to it not being right. light’s not supposed to say the quiet part out loud! he’s not supposed to say he doesn’t love her out loud! he’s the only solid part in her life and even if it’s fake even if what she loves about him is the doll she projects any semblance of safety onto it’s still there.
