Right now, the older generation of my country are super against, super not ready. Many view LGBT+ people as there for only entertainment, and nothing but anomalies out side of that. They see it in black and white, they see it as gay and lesbian. Nothing else.

Our country still has a long way to go before fully accepting the LGBT+, but this step of giving same sex relationships basic rights, recognizing them as people, is a big step that I'm proud so many people are for.

There's a lot of opposition, but a lot of helping hands. So could ya lend yours to make another country a slightly safe place for us? °v°

CSGG : Season 09 “The Tiki’s Are Here”

Let us all be like summer that provides warmth to everyone. Maybe seasonal but definitely unforgettable, and hot. Let's live life to the fullest and let loose that animal spirit within us. - TJ Batas Zaragosa  Aloha! CSGG once again made its mark in the LGBT community as it officially open its Season 9 "Forever  Summer " last saturday night at the outbox bar.

They set it off with a dance competition with the theme of Tiki where each palace shake their hips into the rhythm of the hula. The group is composed of 4 to 10 members each having an alumni who are part of the royalties . With participants of 200 plus, the place was very much crowded not to mention the members of Out republic , sister gc of CSGG, that also held their event that night. An intermission number was given by members of the performing arts department. The crowd went wild as the host Leur Zaragosa and Blair Zaragosa call out the names of each palaces.

First to showcase their talent is the Pearl palace with their Duke Matti Zaragosa. Although the performance itself wasn't that perfect, you can very well see to their faces that they are enjoying what they are doing and that is enough to set the mood of the crowd. I must say what a starter they are indeed. Followed by Ruby palace with John and Torch Zaragosa currenlty the Grand Duke and Arch Duke of awards and recognition. They have once again prove that they are not just all beauty but with talent as well. In their red grass skirt they literally set the stage on fire giving them an edge among the others. They even had henna tattoo just to look like an authentic tiki warrior. Onyx palace made the right choice by sending their most beautiful flowers to represent them. With a simple yet synchronized steps and graceful swaying of their hips they have capture the eyes of the crowd. 

Sapphire palace with their tribal warrior theme invaded the stage with their rough but sexy movement. Lost their momentum for some minute but was tactically evaded by Angel Zaragosa with here charm and some members doing a fire batton . Amethyst Palace make the most out of their simple outfit and dance steps Carnellian palace with just four members dance in the tune of pearly shell and tiny bubbles effortlessly . Proving the saying that with less there is more. Sapphire was awarded for having the most active Gc with a chat counts of after the Birthday celebrants were called onto the stage to get a simple gift from CSGG. Because that’s how it is to be part of CSGG, we treat each other not just as a fellow member but rather as a family.

An intermission number was given then by Bonsai Zaragosa, newbie member of Ruby. With her own rendition of the song Sundo, she serenade the crowd that put them in awe for her. An award was also given to three members who participated in a Gc activity propagated by the Charity department about the establishment of pride and respect for the LGBT. The winner ot the tiki dance was decided by a panel of judges consisting of members of the diamonds lead by the emperor himself Sir Marcus Zaragosa.

The contest ended with Ruby having the second place and Best in Costume , Sapphire in first place and Onyx as Best in Choreography and Champion of the tiki dance challenge.

And at last comes to one the of most Awaited part in every Meb and Geb.
