LFRP - SAGA ASVORANDI

Saga is a very homesick, very emotional Viera who feels completely out of her element in Eorzea, but is desperate to keep that firmly under wraps. Her goal is to travel this unfamiliar land to learn as much about it as possible while lending her services to the populace as a bounty hunter (particularly where voidsent are involved). She believes in herself and her own abilities above all else and is far too proud to back down from challenges. Her greatest desire is to find and defeat her rival @the-void-stared-back. Until that day, gaining a reputation as an accomplished adventurer and voidsent slayer will have to suffice.

Build: Saga is muscular and statuesque with perfect, perhaps too perfect, posture.

Common Accessories: Saga always has weapons on her and they are always very apparent. She usually has a large, imposing lance on her back, but that is occasionally replaced or accompanied by a healer's staff. She has a bag full of miscellaneous trinkets that remind her of her homeland or that she finds charming in these new lands (they are often very strange). She carries a book with her that she takes notes in when finds something especially interesting (or irritating) in her travels. It is also filled with various details regarding voidsent. It has poorly drawn doodles in the margins as well-- mostly stick figures of herself leaping or fighting stick figure monsters.

Hobbies: Saga loves to draw. She is not good at it. She also likes to sing. She is much better at that. Other hobbies include extensive travel, reading bestiaries, reading travel guides and historical accounts, reading absolute trash that she is not aware is absolute trash, cooking, and sparring.

Languages: She speaks the common tongue of Eorzea with a slight accent that identifies her as being from far away (the Skatay forest in Dalmasca specifically)

Residence: Saga does not have a have a permanent home. She'd like her permanent home to be her village, but according to the laws of the Green Word she cannot return there.

Patron Deity: Saga does not worship specific gods; she adheres to the Green Word and devotes herself to nature. Well. And herself. If Saga worships anyone outside her village, it is herself.

Hunter: Saga has been out in the world taking on jobs to prove herself a capable investigator and hunter. She often gets in over her head because she takes the jobs others won't just to make a name for herself. Perhaps you can help her? Perhaps she can help you!

A world devoid of Voidsent: Saga hates Voidsent more than anything else. She blames their existence on her inability to return home. She is looking for one Voidsent tied to a woman she says is a traitor to their village, but in the meantime she will chase down and destroy any Voidsent she hears about just to become strong enough to complete her goal and to protect future people from being manipulated by them. Hate Voidsent? You ARE Voidsent? That's a good way to interact with Saga's angry side.

Memories of Home: Saga misses her homeland. She misses her village. She misses being immersed in the culture she grew up in. If you are interested in hearing about where she came from, she will want to tell you. If you have come from there too, she will want to be around you.

Cooking and Music: Saga loves to sing and loves to cook. She enjoys other people who are similarly interested in these pursuits.

Healers and Historians: Saga is a marginally skilled healer, but her skills could be better (she focuses on fighting far more than she does tending to wounds). Regardless, she has the utmost respect for healers and would love to be better at the art. She also really wants to learn about the world around her. If your character is a healer or particularly knowledgeable, she'd love to meet you.

Scion of the Seventh Dawn - If you had ever come into contact with the Hero of Eorzea -The Warrior of Light- you perhaps may have heard or perhaps met Y’raha before! He accompanies the Warrior of Light (Could be you or the poster boy!) and Scions about their adventures, getting into all sorts of hijinks. 

Sharlayan! - One would be hard pressed to miss the tattoos inked upon his right under forearm and neck, a nautilus with the words ‘Knowledge Seeks No Man’ curving inside its shell; The tattoos on his neck a mark of the sages for his mastery of aetherial manipulation.

Student of Baldesion - Y’raha became deeply interested in the phenomenon that was the echo, choosing to shift the later part of his life towards learning more about it. He left long before the Island was destroyed to pursue a new life in Eorzea.

Tribal Deserter - Before making his way to Eorzea to join the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, Y’raha was Nunh for several years for his tribe in Sharlayan. He isn’t ashamed of it but did essentially disappear on the tribe and family, tossing his old title away after finding a new home with the Scions.

A Tad Bit Too Curious - Y’raha, while intelligent, isn’t always the best at keeping patient with his desire to see things finished or solved. He is liable to be the first to volunteer to forgo legality and rules in the name of the greater good!

Distinguishing Marks: None, which is the most distinguishing thing. For someone who dresses like an adventurer, he’s very clean with no scars nor marks.

Common Appearance: Well groomed, dresses like a common adventurer. Always wears a metal half-mask upon his face, claims it helps him see better. If he is not wearing adventuring garbs, he is wearing dress attire. Very clean.

What a Creep. Amosis often finds himself standing in dark corners or as a wallflower in inns and bars, watching everyone around him. He doesn’t like approaching people verbally, but will go through comically large measures to observe what certain people are doing, i.e. what book they are reading, what they are writing, drawing, etc.

Allagan “Sympathizer”. Conversation with him may lead to topics on Allagans, in which he will condone the methods in which the Empire took in their politics. Those who also delve deeply into Allagan history and technology may find themselves either being watched by or confronted by Amosis - or at least have an excited letter show up in their mailbox about wanting to converse with them. 

Calling All Heroes. Or not. Amosis is constantly searching for people who often break the bounds of the limits of man, whether physically or mentally. He never says why, aside for observation reasons. He only wishes to talk guys, there’s totally nothing sinister behind him or his reasons.

In Need of a Villain? Looking for a plot device for your character that needs a good “morally ambiguous” villain? Look no further than Amosis! The man stops at absolutely nothing to meet his goals. Nothing.

How About A Morally Ambiguous Ally Instead? Don’t need a villain, but an ally with a strange sense of ethics? Amosis works there too. He’s a fairly good informant, and can usually get information on just about anything and anyone.

Descendant of Saint Shiva: Due to begin orphaned, Sirendie is disconnected from her roots and she never encountered others like herself in appearance. Thus Sirendie’s early childhood was spent believing the legend of Saint Shiva, as it seemed the only logical reason for her features. However, Sirendie did learn of her true lineage its homeland of Othard, but only in books or from the stories of Scholars and other more worldly travelers.

Labeled as Heretic: As a young adult, Sirendie found herself (and  House Baelaire due to association) under investigation by inquisitors of the Holy See. She was captured and escaped with the aid of House Baelaire’s young master. They were separated and she fled from Coerthas-- leaving the only home she ever knew.

Cultural Exploration: She’s curious about new places, and would love to hear stories from travelers.

Not really super picky about hooks, Sirendie spends most of her time hunting, gathering or exploring. Just wishing for someone friendly who wants to hang out.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE –––

Hair: Short dark hair, almost midnight blue fading into a pale blue. It is cut short at the sides of his head and slightly longer on top.

Eyes: Deep Crimson Red

Height: 6′8″ / 207 cm

Build: Despite the fact that he is very slender at first glance, that is because his height belies his bulk, broad in the shoulders and chest, and well-muscled. His strength is primarily in his upper body and arms, from wielding a shield and sword, and now a two-handed sword.

Distinguishing Marks: A long scar down his left cheek, presumably from his time serving in and around Whitebrim, a slight bump in his nose where it seems to have been broken and healed not quite properly. A large set of marks on his back that seem to be claw marks.

Common Appearance: Adjusted to his domicile now in Ul’dah, he dresses for the desert and hot weather when he is in Eorzea, rather fond of the warmth. This means a lot of open-front shirts and loose-flowing linens, though he is still often seen in the frock coat in Aurifort colors.

A Cursed Fate: Rainier was on patrol outside of Dragonhead as part of his family’s service to House Haillenarte, when he and his squadron ended up in the bottom of Witchdrop, where they had an encounter with voidsent. He survived, but with a curse that changed him... Now, he must feed on life aether by drinking blood on a regular basis, or risk going berserk and losing control of himself. [Basically he’s a vampire because I can.]

The Burden of A Family: Rainier is in Ul’dah as a representative of house Aurifort in Ishgard, the youngest son of the family and thus least essential back home, so he is seeking actively to open up trade or business arrangements with his family’s name and businesses in Ul’dah.

Smoking Habit: Clara tried a cigarette once. Once. She nearly stopped breathing right then and there, and decided to never smoke again.  Drugs: Canon verse, no. Modern AUs, it’s likely that she’s tried one (or several) drugs at some point.  Alcohol: Clara seems to be a petty heavy drinker, however she uses the notion to get more information from people. It takes a lot of alcohol to get her to lose her inhibitions, but she plays herself as a lightweight and uses the advantage of others thinking that she’s too far gone against them in the long run. 

Vigilante: After being sold by her step-mother to the ruthless Captain Cyril Stacy ( @lordofcrowns​), Clara eventually escaped, after much hardship, and commandeered own vessel alongside her childhood friend, Vhett Revy ( @ghostlyfoxangel), in order to start hunting down slave vessels. Brother/Tavern: During the darkest part of her life, Clara lived in one of Cyril Stacy’s brothels, having defied him and seen the brunt of his anger. Her character changes a lot during this point, going from a kind young girl to a cynical woman. Meeting her there is quite common, so feel free to message me. 

Jack of All Trades: Clara had taken many odd jobs to support herself throughout the years, from carpentry to cooking. She’s often busy running about from place to place, barefoot, throughout Gridania and Limsa specifically. 

Childhood Friends/Acquaintances: As the daughter of a traveling merchant, Clara spent most of her childhood (from infancy to about nine years of age) traveling between towns and city states. She was a friendly girl, very bright and witty, and had an easy time making friends. If you would like your character to be involved in her childhood in some way, shoot me a message!

Seeing Eye to Eye; Have a past agreement with Luken or calling in a due debt? Luken has grown up in the criminal underground, and such living does not come without I.O.Us. An pre-established relationship like that is possible if in the right place at the right time. 

Ear To The Ground; As previously mentioned Luken grew up learning the inner workings of the underground, and how to network those links. Luken is always looking to build his book of contacts when he meets someone. It always good to have friends in high and low places. 

Jack of All Trades; Luken is independent criminal up for hire. From forgery, thievery, and smuggling. Luken has done it all. There a only fields of work Luken no longer works such assassin, courtesan, and slaving. However, any can be done for the right price, or when necessity calls for it. 

Time is Money; While Luken does not do well working in organization, but sometimes one can’t avoid it. If there is more reward than risk involved.

A Wallflower; Luken meets many people from a simple pocket picking to meeting a mark. In general, Luken always attempts to be open and chiasmic with new people. From greeting onwards, Lukens tries to adapt his personality to the situation. This would be away to meet Luken that doesn’t need to involve his life of crime. Although, it is always bound to come in some way or form.

Okay, so, the real question is,

do I buy a house on Zalera, or do I move to a different world once his road-to-70 gaol time is up (about the end of may/start of june)? I mean I suppose it depends on if I end up rping on him? Because I'm willing to brave Balmung housing if an fc wants him, I don't intend on Emyr ever wanting/needing to upgrade from a cottage.

Though at this point should I even be rping anyways? Sometimes feels like a lost cause. Maybe the first step would be putting up a lfrp for Ruhka and Emyr both.
