I finally read the last 2 chapters that were left, I have gotten lazy after bing reading it in the august so💀 BUT YEAH! I have enjoyed the story alot, angst/drama is my favorite genre and I enjoyed this story so far! :D

ok i compiled the last sentence of every chapter of lfls bc istg this fic has some of the most iconic last lines i’ve ever seen

“I have a job for you.”

Only a sword remained, forgotten on the sewer floor.

But Leo’s throat was now too dry for him to be able to swallow, anyways, as Draxum started to laugh.

Whatever you’re up to, it sounds very... urgent.”

But perhaps that was just him being optimistic.

Just a few days.

He set the slice back down and pulled his knees up to his chest, resting his head on them.

And there was still nothing.

He had two more matches to go today.

Because what would they think of him now?

He wondered, sitting in the dark, if it was just his imagination… or if that voice actually sounded a little bit like a mix between Draxum’s and a stranger’s, a seeming sense of static softly crackling in the background as his thoughts futilely sought out who it was that he was meant to be.

His pile of papers all fluttered to the ground, long forgotten.

He looked up.

In his other hand he still clutched the two severed mask tails, the usual blue now stained the muddy color of dried blood.

Somehow, Leo Green looked right at home.

He didn’t sound convinced.

He opened another portal, and the four returned to the lab, leaving the semi-destroyed bazaar behind.

“And oh,” he continued, “do I have plans to come.”

After all, he probably had quite the explaining to do.

And here I thought we would have to come to you.”

It was getting louder.

He didn’t make it in time.

He fell asleep with his head angled towards his two youngest brothers.

His wrist tech dinged loudly again as he left.

Everything about Raph’s hypothesis was severely lacking supporting evidence, after all.

We'll talk more once Dad and Donnie can weigh in.”

Just finished reading Like Father Like Son…

So I started reading Like Father Like Son a few seasons back but I stopped at around the part where Leo forgot his name because I just. couldn’t take it anymore /pos, but now I’m deciding to give it another shot.

But for some reason, I can’t find it on AO3? I can find translations in a few languages, but I can’t even find anything by eternalglitch at all. Did she (sorry if I misgender, I haven’t read their comments in a while) delete her account? Did the guilt catch up with her? I really hope not, because it is genuinely one of the best-written fanfics I’ve read and I hope to read it again.

Someone lmk where I can read the whole thing.

It is suggested to read the comic while also listening to the song.

I remember stumbling upon an animatic for this fic, then I went and read it and it got me deeper into the rise fandom. Not for the gentle of heart though, but a good read. Made this as an homage to it. To be honest, one of the first pieces of art I did relating to rise tmnt. It spiraled out of control from there. Still really proud of how I paneled some things out. A main starting point for this whole comic was the panel of Leo being in a coffin-shaped panel.

I was rereading one of my favorite turtle fics with a friend recently ("Like Father, Like Son" by @eternalglitch ), and I just got bitch slapped with animatic-based ideas. This is a WIP because the entire song would be perfect for a LFLS animatic, I just couldn't draw it all at once.
