Yes very much so! More or less everything is similar, maybe just a bit grittier and bleak I suppose

how do they regard phantom?

The more sentient they are, the less they like him. They’re Blobs don’t care, they’re the only ones who tolerate him.

is he just a bit of an oddball, or are they horrified by him just like the humans?

Horrified no, disturbed? Unnerved? Maybe.

what is (or would be, if everyone knew) the general ghostly opinion on vlad's actions in reviving danny?

Ghosts hate what Vlad did- maybe even more so then they despise Danny

Ghosts are supposed to be FULLY dead- OR were never alive in the first place.

But Danny is dead, and alive at the same time. A poor kid who’s spirit was crammed back into a body it didn’t quite belong to anymore.

There are some ghosts who may feel pity for the creature- after all he didn’t choose to become this… thing.

Most are not as charitable.

Does Danny's family know who he is?

Nope! They’re really only aware there’s an especially smart new ghost for their ghost hunting roster.

How did Vlad get Danny's body?

Snuck into the graveyard and dug him up himself.

Did he steal it from his grave?

Yessirie, dug him up and everything- loaded him into his personal jet and flew all the way back to Wisconsin (he’s rich or something)

How would Jazz react to Danny and what would the reveal be like, since she can't see?

I wonder how differently she would treat him to everyone else since she wouldn't be able to see him as a monster.

Jazz has always been a kind understanding person, and being blinded has only made her kinder- but finding out her brother is now a mangled reanimated corpse with ghost powers may do a number on her.

And lastly, do you mind AU's inspired by yours? Not at all! Take all the inspiration you want!! Giving others ideas makes me SO happy- please @ me if you do!!! I’d love to see it :D

I am SO happy to show y’all my part in this year’s @ecto-implosion - I had a lot of fun coming up with more ideas and drawing them- y’all don’t understand I love this concept so much-

Welcome to Phrankenstine, an au where Vlad takes the place of Dr. Frankenstein, and Danny is his monster.

Detailed summary: Danny dies in the portal accident, Jazz is blinded, and the family is broken. Vlad- a scarred, broken recluse- hears about Danny’s death and sees an opportunity.

Vlad defiles Danny’s grave and resurrects him with power from his own ghost portal- only realize what came back wasn’t Danny…or more accurately, it was Danny, but he wasn’t the same boy who died in the accident.

Now with all the powers and attributes of a powerful ghost, Daniel is used by Vlad as his personal henchmen, sending him to do all the dirty work, all while treating him like what he is, a powerful creature with no soul…

But Daniel is slowly coming to realize, his master might be wrong… maybe he did have a soul… could he really be more than just a monster?

Taken from his home as a baby and raised on the streets of Coruscant. Part of a dangerous gang there, he’s never sent out to do the dirty work, he mostly just brings in stuff that can be cashed in for credits easily

He’s a master of misdirection and a fantastic pickpocket- he’s a laid back guy, but doesn’t laugh much, he’s a serious fellow. People can get on his nerves very easily, but he is good at not showing it. He’s one of those people who just slips into the background and goes unnoticed- which is exactly what he wants.
