Meitantei Luke gets translated as “Detective Luke” because it’s whats natural but it’s not a literal translation. See how “meitantei conan” also gets translated as “detective Conan”.

MEITANTEI’s literal meaning is GREAT DETECTIVE! :D

Luke is not only a detective, but people think he’s great at it! ^^

Steam Bison being vaguely in a desert in the united states means he's actually fairly close to California, so Luke could probably visit Phoenix if he had the time between all the puzzle solving. (Assuming of course that they aren't going to make up a new desert in the US like they did for Miracle Mask with Monte d'Or being able to be driven to from London)

i don't know enough about the geography of the Southwestern states to make a guess at which states Steam Bison could be in based on it looking like a plateau that Layton and Luke are standing on there, so ppl more familiar with those states have a go at it!

Hello!! You're an older Professor Layton fan right? Do you know how long Level-5 Visions usually last? It's gonna be my first time watching one but I'll only be able to catch the first hour of it given the timezone differences :"^]

If I remember correctly, they used to be longer than one hour, but not this time! I think it's because there might not be an in-person conference this time, everything seems to be online. Not 100% sure that's the case though.

Both the Niconico link and the freshly posted Youtube link state in their descriptions "The estimated runtime is approximately 30 minutes", so I think you're good ^^
