As much as we offer a non-essential service, indoor plants certainly bring a little happiness to those of us who are plant parents!. Studies have shown that interaction with plants may actually help reduce stress. So here is our "on-line" solution to enable you to still get your plant fix: in lieu of you physically coming into the store, we'll do our best to bring the store to you! Each day, we'll post pictures of plants currently in stock, along with price and pot size. To reserve a specific plant, you can call the store at 613.445.5214, email us at info@beyondthehouse.ca, or leave a message on Facebook or Instagram. Payment can be made over the phone or by e-transfer and we can arrange for either free delivery in the local area or pickup. If picking up, we make sure the plant is well wrapped and place it outside once you are close to arriving. Please note that on-line sales can also be made for other products in the store. We have a great selection of seeds, soils, giftware, Bee by the Sea products, indoor pots and much more. Stay tuned for other ideas we are working on including plant videos and maybe even DIY Workshops where we provide all the materials with instructional video!! I got a pair of these seedlings from letstalkplants on eBay last April. I grew them outside on my covered porch all summer. When I brought all the plants in for the winter, I was surprised by one being in spike. This is the second flower on this spike. The first one I didn’t even take a picture of because it was ugly. The petals were twisted funny. I tried waiting to see if it would flatten and then it never did. Obviously it was a fluke because this flower just opened today and I love it. It looks like it is forming a second bud behind this one. This plant is super tiny.
