Regardless of what's going on it's still spring and things are popping up all over the place. I've got daffodils, lilies, rhubarb, chives, basil, strawberries, and garlic. Last fall we planted 138 cloves of garlic and most of them are coming up this spring. With any luck whatsoever there will be a lot of garlic in my future. The plants that I overwintered are doing so well that the roses and the impatiens are still blooming. I didn't even know that was possible. The pussy willows are prolific this year and I have many trays worth of seeds started. Such as cucamellon, hops, catnip, elderberries, tomatoes, peppers and herbs. I have another entire bag of seeds that are direct sow and ill be planted in the garden soon. I've got peas, carrots, onions, radishes, potatoes, and sweet potatoes too. Not to mention the sorrel, lettuce, and lovage. I can't wait to get started I think it's going to be a good year for gardening. Oh who am I kidding?
