as max stepped out of the cockpit of his red bull - his gloved hands trembling slightly - he could feel the relief coursing through him, palpable even under the thick layers of his racing suit and balaclava. the cold autumn air nipped at his damp skin, but he barely noticed, lost in the overwhelming rush of emotions.

after a very, very long season, filled with challenges both in and out of the car, he had finally done it…he had won his fourth world championship. 

as he stood there under the vegas lights, savoring this triumphant moment in front of the roaring crowd, his thoughts drifted to you.

throughout the year, your presence had always been a beacon amidst the chaos, a constant reminder of what truly mattered to him beyond the roar of engines and the glare of millions of fans. as he ran towards his team, his chest pounding and blood rushing in his ears, he thought of your earlier message, and his heart swelled with affection for you. he knew now was finally the perfect opportunity to share his love for you with the rest of the world.

as you watched max leap into the waiting arms of his jubilant crew, who slapped his back, clapping and cheering, chanting his name, you tried furiously to blink away the tears. your boyfriend had finally achieved his fourth world title, and he was making both of your wishes come true.

walking over to the other drivers, max felt the hand of another behind him. turning around, the butterflies in his stomach heaved once again, coming face to face with your father, fernando alonso. max's exuberant gaze locked onto the figure before him, and as their eyes met, max felt the familiar flutter of nervousness in his chest, a sensation he'd grown accustomed to whenever thinking of you and your father.

"max," fernando greeted him warmly, extending a strong hand. "congratulations. you've earned every bit of this championship." max clapped his hand firmly, trying to hide the slight tremble behind his grin. "thank you, fernando,”

max blushed for a second, as fernando leant up to pinch his cheeks, while also grinning widely at him. as fernando's gaze lingered on max, he thought for a second that he had found out about the two of you, and was instead ready to pull him by the cheek in for a very obvious threat and kick to the balls.

"i must say," fernando began, his tone sincere, "you've shown remarkable resilience this season. much like myself. i hope to see you continue working hard for many years," his words carried a hint of approval.

max swallowed hard, his mind racing, as he opened his mouth to speak.

“i-i’m dating your daughter,” max’s heart pounded in his chest, the words tumbling from his lips before he could stop them. fernando’s expression remained jubilant, but there was a glimmer of something unreadable in his eyes. the air between them seemed to crackle with tension.

“i…i didn’t know she was seeing someone,” fernando said slowly, his voice low and controlled, as he waved to the crowd, whilst pulling max towards the other drivers. there was no denying the facts now – fernando knew about their relationship. and while max couldn’t read the older man’s thoughts, he felt a surge of nervous energy course through him. would this revelation change things? between him and fernando?

as if sensing his turmoil, fernando turned back around abruptly, causing max to jump slightly.

fernando studied max intently, his expression unreadable. then, slowly, a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "but i'm glad to hear that it's you max. my daughter deserves nothing less than the best."

with those words, fernando extended his hand once more, this time with a newfound warmth that spoke volumes. max grasped it firmly, sealing a silent pact between them. as they released their grip, fernando placed a hand on max's shoulder, pulling him in. "but listen closely mijo," he said, still grinning but his voice low and conspiratorial, "you mess with my daughter, and i will not hesitate to run you off the track or run you over. if you care for her, then show her that she's your number one priority, both on and off the track."

max felt a chill run down his spine at fernando's warning, but he also sensed a strange kind of respect behind it. this was a man who protected his family fiercely, and max wanted nothing more than to earn his place within that circle.

"yes, sir," he replied fervently, meeting fernando's intense stare head-on. "she is my priority, always. i promise you, i'll do whatever it takes to make her happy and keep her safe." fernando studied him for a long moment, searching for any sign of doubt. finally, he gave a curt nod, releasing max's shoulder.

"alright then," he said, "just remember what i told you. and welcome to the family, officially." as fernando walked away, max took a deep breath, his mind already racing. he glanced around at the celebrating crowd, their faces alight with joy and admiration, and couldn't help but feel a sense of pride swell within him.

but more than anything, max yearned to share this moment with you, to bask in the glow of his victory together and celebrate the love that had sustained him throughout the season. max scanned the bustling crowd, his eyes searching for a glimpse of your familiar features amidst the sea of faces. spotting you lingering nervously near the red bull personnel, he pushed through the throng of people, making a beeline directly for you. as he drew nearer, you couldn't help but notice the look of pure adoration etched across his handsome features. his dark hair was damp with sweat, his broad shoulders still trembling slightly from the exertion of the race. but his eyes shone brightly with triumph and something far warmer - his love for you.

"y/n!" he called out, his voice ringing above the din of the party. pulling you through the celebrating crowd, he wrapped you up in a crushing embrace, lifting you off your feet. you melted into his embrace, pouring every ounce of your joy, pride, and adoration into it.

your fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer until your lips met in a searing kiss, pouring years of shared dreams and unspoken promises into that single, passionate gesture. the world around them melted away as max lost himself in the taste and feel of your lips, his body molding perfectly against yours. his hands roamed over your curves, tracing the contours he knew so well, as if mapping out the path to your heart.

when you finally broke apart, both panting for air, max rested his forehead against yours, his eyes shining with a mixture of triumph and tenderness. he reached into his pocket, his fingers brushing against the small velvet box that had been burning a hole there since the day he decided to propose. max dropped to one knee, his heart pounding in his chest as he gazed up at you with a look of pure adoration. the crowd around them seemed to hold its collective breath, the anticipation palpable in the air.

with trembling hands, max opened the box, revealing a stunning diamond ring nestled within. the stone glittered under the bright lights of the track, casting glittering cascades of light across your face.

"y/n," max began, his voice steady despite the overwhelming emotions coursing through him, "from the moment we met, you've been the driving force behind everything i've achieved. your love, support, and unwavering belief in me have pushed me to become the best version of myself, both on and off the track."

he paused, swallowing hard as he fought back the tears that threatened to spill from his eyes.

"marry me," max breathed, his voice barely above a whisper. "become my wife. let's race through life together because i want to spend the rest of my life with you, and no one else, i love you,"

with a shaky nod, you sank to your knees before him, cupping his face in your hands as you peppered his cheeks with tender kisses. "yes," you whispered, your voice choked with emotion. "a thousand times yes."

max slid the ring onto your finger, and pulling you up with him to your feet. spinning you around once more, your laughter ringing out like the sweetest melody. the crowd surged forward, enveloping you both in a sea of congratulations and well-wishes, their excitement nearly tangible in the air.

as the celebrations continued around them, max pulled you close, his lips finding yours in a passionate kiss that left no doubt about the depth of his love and commitment. in that moment, surrounded by the people who mattered most, max knew that this was just the beginning of a lifetime of victories, both on and off the track.

Saw a tiktok where a woman had to throw away an item she liked due to OCD contaminating it. That reminded me of a thing that's helped me a lot on my journey to get my OCD under control.

Other people dont care if something is bad cause your OCD said so– And yes that can lead to others being dismissive, but it can also be useful.

Lets use a fork as an example. When eating my brain may suddenly decide the fork is a death omen. When that happens I give it to my mom to eat with instead. It may sound harsh because in my head I just gave my mom a death omen, but she doesn't care (I've asked!) To her its just a fork.

I'd then keep an eye on her and when sometime later my mom's all good: I can turn that on my OCD and better resist intrusive thoughts of that kind (if my mom didn't die then its not a real threat!) It's still a major process and a chore-- this isnt some magical cure... But it helps me and mby someone else. 👍

I'm aware this may not work for a lot of ppl and I dont want anyone to feel Im shaming them for having to throw out things. OCD is a bastard and I get it. I just hope the post may reach even one person this tip could help.

So, I watched the first episode of “Those About To Die” on Peacock.

I enjoyed it, and Im willing to do write ups if folks would be interested…

Since I wana talk about details, and I dont wana spread spoilers, everything is below the readmore.

What I liked: 🔵 And what I disliked: 🟠

Total Ranking: 8/10 - very good, worth the watch 👍

🟠 It dove into the Intrigue right away, which made it hard to watch while doing other things, but I can appreciate a show that grabs you by the shoulders and shoves you down into the couch to pay attention.

🔵 It wasn’t boring, quite the contrary, I felt fully engaged throughout the episode. Theres a lot of small moving parts to the story, and it orchestrates together incredibly well so far, even for Episode One. The writing is very well done, which is a lynchpin for me on a show like this. You cant pretend to be an intrigue type series without a proper plot. And, in my opinion, they’ve set their plots well right away. Tenax getting those shares in Blue was a great con, which had clearly been going a while, but we only saw the tail end of it. I see this little setup as a great look at how the writers DO their work. Connections matter, money does more than talk, and if you play the game wrong, you die. Don’t trust anyone.

🔵 I REALLY enjoyed the historical aspects of the first episode. Like, yes, this plot happened, its a historical fiction and a number of these characters exist in history, but its not just that. Its the small details, the different knives in different cultures, the veterinary care of race horses, the deities from more than just the main roman pantheon, the drinkware, the VARIOUS clothes from various cultures and climates…. And yes, women often went topless when they were a sxwrkr. Gotta advert.

🔵 ON THAT SUBJECT: can we talk about “3 sesterce… and Im tighter than both of them.” MY BOY, YOU ARE RIZZIN TOO HARD AND I LOST IT. Please, please let him be in future episodes. Omfg….

🟠 I am forced to concede the accuracy isnt PERFECT, the horses wore modern driving bridles to go with their ancient styled chariots. However, Im realistic about how many horses are trained today to pull anything without blinders, and how much safer modern bridles are. I’ll also note: I absolutely saw the animal handler grab the horse differently (calmly) before the riot surrounded it, then direct the horse to dance in the crowd. Great training with the horse! Bad camera angle. Lol

🔵 I also really like this cast so far. Everyone fills their roles incredibly well.

Hopkins doesnt even need an introduction, the mans a legend and brings all his experience to the stage with him every time. -chefs kiss-

Rheon was great in GOT, he plays calculatingly unhinged exceptionally well. But I wont lie, seeing him in a more commanding, level headedly calculating person?

Hashim….. HASHIM!!! Im SO excited to see where his character goes. We haven’t seen much of him in Ep 1 just yet, but he’s clearly going to be one of the main players. Im not familiar with him as an actor, but I’ve enjoyed his performance so far, and I REALLY appreciate the story being told.

Martins is also incredible. She does a fantastic job of knowing the danger her characters children are facing, but also knowing she HAS to play her cards right to save them. She personifies the strength and determination of a mother perfectly.

🔵 Quite honestly, I have to give points to that whole plot-line in general. That point of view is something we’ve had hidden from us (in America) for so long, that I think a LOT of people have… become calloused. I hope seeing it will potentially help others come to an empathetic understanding. This isn’t glossing over what happened, or whats likely to happen to any of the three children.

🔵 I also want to gush over actually SHOWING the wider Roman Empire, we get to see the direct effect of their influence in both Africa and Spain so far. Egypt was their bread basket, and without that grain, youve got problems. The Berber Coast has animals, and people they want, and we see money exchanging hands for the purpose of those ends. We see how the locals were told they’d be treated fairly, paid properly, and even eventually become citizens, like the Spaniards, only to have those promises thrown aside as soon as the Romans have better money to make. These people gave the Empire everything it wanted, but the Empire is never satisfied.

We also get to appreciate how far west the empire went when the Spaniards are trying to sell their horses. (Plot-bunny: Andies are dancing horses, exceptionally athletic, and a prime choice for chariots, though, a standardbred is the usual choice for modern cart racers)

🟠 I will say the CGI isnt the best. You can tell exactly when they change from live action to CGI. But this is a minor issue for me tbh. Its passable CGI, and they use it to avoid putting animals or people in danger which, obviously, I appreciate. A chariot wreck was shown, annnnnd it was pretty darn accurate to how messy those would have been. Not good times y’all. Not good times. Also, the ramifications of a major concussion. Oof. At least the guy would have barely knew what was happening? Still.

🔵 The sound effects were enough without being over the top. Often times when theres gore to show, theres all these extra squelching noises and gratuitous blood… not this time. It’s actually… pretty durn accurate. Don’t ask how I know. I don’t wana tell you, and you dont wana know.

Overall, it was a really solid first episode, and I plan on watching the rest.

She is initially shocked apon finding you

A living voodoo doll that is able to transfer someones pain,it sounds like a story you tell kids to scare them honestly.

Not only that but you are insanely hard to kill,every time she has her claws on you,you suddenly evade her and run away.

She finds the situation both amusing and annoying.

She eventually gets to the point where she realises you just wont die

So instead she corners you and questions you

Apon finding out that your not entirely sure how you are what you are she feels almost a sense of familiarity,given the fact that she was created by an eldritch God.

Now you may be wondering,how did kintoru find out you can transfer pain?,you transferred your pain to her when she sliced you.boom.

For some reason,you get stuck in her realm,she literally cant get rid of,she tries multiple times before just accepting your there.

She eventually grows to enjoy your presence and you enjoy hers eventually to.

She loves to just pick you up and hold you close to her.

She refuses to admit that shes cuddling you

So she says holding you

She feels relief knowing that you wont die of old age in all honesty

Kintoru will never admit it but she loves you unconditionally

Should yasu EVER try to take you away she will have zero chill, legit hes standing one second dead the next,she will not loose you.

Unless shes sure you can,she probally wont involve you with the whole cursing an entire family tree thing

She let's you put on her hat if you want to,mainly cause she gets to see the large hat on your head and she finds it amusing.

She to is shocked at learning about you.

Shed definatly try to pursue you after finding out about your capabilities.

It's rare for someone to not be ink-ified so seeing you only dirty and inky is a shocker,her initial thought was that it was the ink that had turned you into the doll.

The first time she learns about your ability is when she saw you get attacked by one of the ink creatures,one slashes you on the stomach before you quickly transferred the injury back to the culprit and fled.

She definatly took notes.

I can see her attempting to appeal good and maybe even flirting to gain your trust

It isnt until you both unexpectedly get put into a fight with eachother that she learns about how much of a pain you are to kill.

After that encounter she thinks more leisurely now,she dosnt like the fact that you can last longer than practically any of the ink creatures down there -bendy/the ink demon

This somehow transcends into your relationship becoming frenemys

Whenever you cross pass it's a short fight with snarky remarks and offhanded insults being thrown back and forth until one just walks away

You both eventually just sit down with eachother and talk,how does this happen? Idk it just does

She talks about her former life before she became and ink creature whilst sadly looking at herself.

Once the questions are diverted to her and she questions your existence,you reply you just simply dont know

She would question more but she dosnt even know how shes living as an ink creature so she cant talk.

After this I can see her warming up to you and letting you around her area of the studio.

Surprisly she likes pda

She would be ecstatic if you would want to help her become beautiful and gets abit upset if you dont but otherwise understands.

She let's you touch her horns and halo,shes very over protective over you

She keeps you away from the ink demon at any and all costs

She wont let him take you away from her.

If you cant defend yourself she will teach you.

Due to the fact that she is in a factory that literally makes dolls and toys live she wouldnt find it a huge shocker

When they defeated Eclipse (v2), the start wasn't destroyed. No one knew this but Nexus, however, and he quickly hid the star and told everyone it was destroyed in order to keep it out of danger out being stolen.

However, when Solar died, things took a turn. No, Nexus didn't use the star, but when he tried to use magic to bring Solar back using the remnants of his soul essence stuff. The star absorbed it. This made the star sentient, and it turned into a robot child.

Nexus began to raise her, with Sun (and the rest of the family) helping. Nexus never went crazy, becoming too engrossed in raising a fucking child to focus on bringing Solar back. He feels guilty, but he feels like this is what Solar would have wanted. He now has to deal with mourning his best friend, and raising an all-powerful, important, chaotic star child. Yippie

Relo Au

"The Relocation au"

(V4) Eclipse, while looking for who created him, decided to pay the lord Eclipse dimension a visit with the help of Spanaird. He never found a pull towards world domination, and wanted to see what that world looked like. However, before he found the lord, he found Servant Sun (who didn't die in this au 👍). After talking with him a bit and seeing his anxiousness, he felt pity and helped him devise a plan to take Lord Eclipse down. It works, and S!Sun uses the stolen star to bring his family back, before destroying it for good.

Eclipse went back to his own dimension for awhile. However, Nexus's insanity only kept growing, and he attempted to kill Eclipse to use him to bring Solar back. He evaided death, however, and told Earth on him. But when the rest of the celestial family confronted Nexus, he ended up killing them all. (Nexus a villain in one of my aus??? Its more likley than you think) All except Eclipse. He tried to go for him too, but he high tailed it out of there and went to S!Sun's dimension (also he brought Spanaird with him!!)

Sun and his family gratefully took Eclipse in. After all, he was the reason the reason they were even still alive. Eclipse ended up changing his name to Solstice, since Ecliose was an uncomfortable name for them.

Sun and Solstice get close, and they both begin to heal from what they've been through. Solstice becomes friends with Earth again. He mourns her and the rest of his celestial family. He mourns Solar, too. They don't understand who Solar is. He gets a bit closer with Moon, and begins to heal from what his Old Moon AND Nexus put him through.

Its a story of healing 👍

okay, so- this one doesn't really have a story, rather so just some events I have in my head. Again, this is a newer au

First of all, its an Eclipse x Nexus x Solar au

Second, Nexus does become insane in this, but he isn't the main villain or antagonist in the context of the au- he has a virus

Solar after he's brought back believes in Nexus, and when they see each other he starts to lose hope. So in a last ditch effort he kisses him, and somehow it works, breaking the virus and bringing Nexus back to him. True loves kiss 👍

Also we have forbidden love with Eclipse and Solar cause they can't be in the same dimension (thats why its called tol- true love and forbidden love lol)

Anyway they help each other heal from their attachment issues and trauma (shared Moon trauma lmao, even Nexus-) and bad decisions- and they cuddle and have long talks together and are sarcastic together and build things together- eclipse has had to drag the two away from the lab at like 4 am to sleep lmao.

1; val fact i wanted to tell 🤔 is probably that in my hc he spent some of his high school years in russia with his grandparents. (bc i think maybe rebecca got too busy, got too scared out of nowhere, or rooks side of the family insisted he learn more of his other side, who knows, i dont have a solid reason)

val already spoke fluent russian by then bc maybe rooks parents were a bit pushy and wanted to have a significant part in his upbringing so he visited them for extended vacation, but he had a brief time he lived there too, in my mind 😔 they lived in a much less fancy area than he does in the uk (wayhaven is there to me) so he was integrated into the world of slavic traditions over time (dont be mad at him if he reflexively smells your water bottle looking things) with the help of grampy and grammy 👍 also he does speak brazilian protugese due to rebecca. those and english he's fluent in but he knows a good chunk of things in spanish (i hc he learned it to impress bobby's family in uni years perhaps) as well as japanese for some reason (probably mandatory class for said uni?) 2 ; vals relationship w tina and verda is. i'd say like alvin and the chipmunks. they r all soooo annoying together (yes even verda gets there) and even with bravo being vals found family, he's still very close to them. real friends who stick by you like that are rare and he knows it. so far i do Not have a canon in my mind for who'd he telly if he told either of them at all 😭 i feel like him keeping it hidden would be just hypocrisy because he was mad at rebecca for hiding it from him in the first place, but then again. it was a major thing he would've needed to know to protect himself in his own life, considering his blood made him a target. tina doesn't seem to have anything life altering unknowing entanglements with the supernatural world (as far as i'm aware??) like verda. val would probably want to help eric with that, because that kind of "lying" (it's not exactly lying as much as it's just. you dont have to worry about it being like gorgeous freeman because it is NOT like that at all. gordon freemind is mean and not a great guy, but hes not overtly crass or super sexual or anything that will give you super secondhand embarrassment and worry about someone looking over you shoulder and judging you based on visuals alone. out of all the mindverse shows, freeman's mind is one of the easier ones to watch. I say this as someone who loves mindverse

- don't force yourself. it's a comedy series. if you're not having fun, don't feel obligated to watch it. it's not for everyone! one of my friends thought it was boring ;u; so yeah dont subject yourself to something youre not enjoying

- pause to take breaks. I had to do this for felix's mind. I love felix but he is weird.

- pause to react and let out any pent up energy in your preferred method (talking, moving around, etc)

- keep water on hand . or whatever drink you like.

- use arrow keys to skip forward if necessary. no character stays on one topic for too long (mindverse's tangent-y format) so don't like the bit? don't subject yourself to it!

- if you dont want to watch everything but still want to watch, you can watch the best of season 1 comp

im not sure what level of knowledge you have for the series is, sooo.. a few heads up:

- he does use the r slur in a few episodes. it's not abundant but it does happen. you can tell it was made in the late 2000s

- hes not a good person. he will say some things that are strange, bad and/or offputting. this isn't ALL of his dialogue but it is a chunk of it
