Thank you fire emblem warriors for giving lucina and marth a support conversation, it's been years and i still think about it constantly

Lucina fangirling over her great (×10) grandpa is 10/10 and marth feeling uncomfortable with the praise is also 10/10 and a very marth thing to do lmao

He legit tells her that his legend is super exaggerated like 3 times and she just keeps on praising him lmao i love them

But my favorite thing about the support is the talk about lucina taking marth's name and basically cosplaying as him cause it gave her strength and helped her cope with what was happening

Marth telling her that she didn’t need his name to bring hope or rally her people cause she's more than capable herself is also sooo 🥺🥺 he also tells her he doesn't mind she took his name cause he's sure her deeds are more than worthy of his name like

Mihawk cosplayers in general I love you I love you I love you. I’ve never been to a con, so I’ve never seen a Mihawk cosplayer irl, and I’m not sure any of the ones I’ve seen online have fit any of the things I said above, but I feel like Mihawk is a character that people feel like they can’t cosplay because of various reasons, and that makes me sad. I want to see and appreciate everyone who wants to cosplay Mihawk, even if they use a rake handle for Yoru and pin a feather in their mother’s floppy sun hat. I love Mihawk, and everyone should get to cosplay him without worrying about whether or not they fit him <3

oh no ive started looking at takumi's outfit. if i were to cosplay him that'd be like a several year commitment thing with my speed and how well i'd want to get it done, he wears expensive materials. i'd have to do so much research into how his armor is constructed bc i dont get the point of the white thing that's his collar and stuff. it's kind of like an apron in the front but in the back it's a triangle. also that piece would need very rigid structure for it to not only stay up but not slide. im not really a pattern maker and i wouldnt even know what kind of a pattern to look for as a base id modify for it. his shoulder pieces also make my brain hurt. and i think the costume would be very hot to wear and i'd risk a heat stroke any time other than in the middle of winter. im starting to think im only thinking about cosplaying him bc he might be my fave so far and he has a bow

You came home early today. The smile on your face is stretched thin, but you press a bouquet of yellow flowers into my hands. “What for?” I ask you. You don’t reply.

I put the flowers into a vase, place them on the dining table. ‘They’re beautiful,’ I think. I try to ignore the feeling that they wilt every single time I look at them.

You tell me, “Take them down, It's been weeks.” I feel bad for them. for their wilting and falling petals.

I take them and press them in between the pages of a book, leave it up on a shelf. The vase goes in the sink. You don’t notice its absence.

You find the petals inside the book by their yellow. “Why did you keep them?” I explain, “I felt bad for them, they didn’t deserve to be thrown out.” You laugh and toss them in the trash.

I rescue as many of the petals as I can, when you’re not looking. They’re dry and falling apart by now, but I hold them together as best I can. I put them in the back of my phone case.

You never really see me in the first place, so you never learn about my small act of defiance. They’re still pretty to me, even in their brokenness. My mind never lingers on why you brought them in the first place; an apology for something that I never knew about.

(I’m pouring them out into your (her) grave before long, wishing that it were enough to cover the crisp blue flowers.)

Nano cosplay update!!

I printed a paper guide to help me cut the holes at the right spots and it worked. It feels great when I do something so sketchy, using my hand and a Dremel, and then it looks just like the cad model I made earlier.

I'm still not sure how I'm going to hold everything together though

I should probably make a checklist to tick tasks one after the other.
