its really funny to me that when i was like 10/12ish before i even knew what tumblr or twitter was (really anything except youtube) i was already imagining these men kissing. real life grian and mumbo. phan. crankiplier. etc etc

I've always wanted to wake up from a dream laughing and I just did but I realized after I woke up that I have missed a million social cues :((((((((((((((((( it wasn't even funny idk why I couldn't stop giggling. I dont even giggle irl.

#this also may have been a separate dream #i was in this big aquarium swimming and walking around. it was like. you could swim in a lot of the exhibit and interact with the animals #i had some sort of mission and i also found a baby seal who i picked up and was carrying around as i wandered around #eventually i ended up in this little nook that had one of the adult seals/walrusess? so i let the baby go but the adult was not into it and #i heard someone day something like “aw he still has hope”#theres this kid that works at the aquarium and i tell him to come with me for some reason. its around this time i realize this is some movie #the kids boss is like “next time you leave your post you gotta dive out”#and im worried a bit allready sbout him leavin his post with the adult walrus up there.#then suddenly the glass starts breaking everywhere. like one crack then the whole aquarium starts falling apart #and the kid seems a bit worried.#as were all evacuating i decide that its my fault. because the walrus must have been ramming the glass while the kid wasnt watching.#i remember thinking about how this was a movie or something and feeling really dumv #then yhe dream was over snd there was s recap??? in like drawing form and it showed the main character (me) putting a bomb in the center of #the aquarium in some sort of well or something. so. i guess it really was completely my fault in a different way than i thought #then later im at some sort of party or something and then i leave the party for another party or something? and i feel really bad sn #and socially innept the entire time. the person who i think i reconize we start talking and theyre like the first person whos nice to me #and were talking about following eachother on Instagram? or somth #while their scrolling i see a video eith one of my old friends and shes on the news? the headline is like “me and cathy snd the murder #victim...“ or something. and im like ”hey thats my friend“ and the person just shuts their phone off.#any ways so this person lets me hitch a ride with them back to the original party. they get out of the uber super early but its the right #house and the tell the driver that hes lost and the DRIVER gets out. so im like oh i guess this is their car??#and so they drive up to the drive way and three more people start getting in the car and theyre like putting stuff in the trunk #and talking about where to sit and i just start giggling.#and im still trying to participate like i offer to sit in the middle. theres already someone sitting at the front but he gets out and #everytime someone says anything i start giggling??? and like its sunny and everyone is very attractive in a way that o just found so funny #and then eventually two of then run over to this like panel dash board yhing that on a wall outside and like messing with it opening the #glove box and stuff and i just wake up #and immediately upon waking. well first i was like “teehee. i woke up from giggling” then i thought about it and i was like “oh. i was #take the front seat :(#dream log

I’m sure you’ve answered before, but HOW! did you get your hands on all of these scripts!!!

short answer: i'm friends with some of the kids in the hall, bruce mcculloch specifically let me help organize some of his old kids in the hall stuff in storage and as thanks he let me take home several of the original scripts for kids in the hall sketches!

long answer: somehow got in contact with paul bellini two years ago via the youtube comments for his band "mouth congress," we ended up meeting on zoom and becoming friends since i'm also a queer comedy writer and he's a huge inspiration to me. i ended up meeting scott thompson on new year's eve 2022 and about a month later after seeing a live performance of his buddy cole one-man-show i somehow had the audacity to pitch a buddy cole documentary to him (i was barely 20 years old at the time and had never made a documentary before) and somehow both scott and paul thought it was a great idea and said yes.

then i met bruce a few months later when he had a one-man-show at a theater next to the college i go to, i interviewed him on zoom beforehand (i told him it was for my school paper but that was a lie i was never involved with the school paper lmao) and literally by the end of that 30 minute conversation he was like "ok you are my mentee now please tell me all about the stuff you're working on because i want to help you succeed as a comedian" and i was like well actually the main thing i'm working right now is a documentary with scott and paul about buddy cole so bruce was like alright awesome i'm gonna sign on as an executive producer and help you get a budget and interview people

since then i've been traveling up to toronto on average once every two months (sometimes it's been longer between trips but i also spent literally the entirety of july in canada this year. i'm from the US btw and had never been to canada until i met paul) and every time i'm in town i end up seeing at least one of the kids in the hall during my trip. i'm actually planning on moving to canada once i graduate from college (it's my last semester) so yeah kids in the hall has very literally changed my life lmao

currently still working on putting together the buddy cole documentary - i'm traveling up to toronto next weekend to do my main interviews with scott and paul, then when the kids in the hall are all in town together in november i'll finally get to meet mark, kevin, and dave and interview them. making this documentary has been such a wild experience, i never expected to be able to genuinely call the kids in the hall my friends but now it's at a point where scott, paul, and bruce are basically my family. paul gives me feedback on basically every comedy sketch i write and i even got to perform with scott last summer (despite him never having seen or read my comedy before that performance, like what the hell how did he have that much confidence in me lmao)

i post updates on the making of my buddy cole doc on here all the time so definitely stay tuned for that, and i hope this context makes my random scott-posting make a lot more sense

#thanks for the ask!#also i still have some of the vintage autographs bruce let me take with me to send to anyone on tumblr who wants a kith autograph #i'm not currently sending any out bc i didn't bring them with me to college but i will make another post when they're available #ngl i love recapping the story of how i got to be this close with the kids in the hall #but there's so many more wild stories i have to leave out even from the ''long version''#like when i went on tour with scott last winter for the buddy cole doc while having an identity crisis and he took me to my first gay bar #(actually since i was very socially awkward in high school/college scott has inexplicably been around for a lot of ''firsts'')#genuinely cannot believe scott and i haven't even known each other for two years yet since we met on new years eve #like what the fuck what do you mean you're not just a family friend who's known me since i was a weird little kid #anyway apologies for rambling. and also apologies to scott for accidentally ghosting you today #(i was hyperfixating on the documentary prep and didn't see his text for hours)

#specifically it was in secret origins 80-page giant #look he was 13 when he became robin. and a year after that he was allowed on the field #reign of the supermen happened when he was on the field #kon was born during reign of the supermen #during superboy annual 1 or 2 he had his first birthday #& that was wayyyyyyy before yj98 #anyway. my point is that boy is at least 15 #(also superboy would need to have actually been biologically 15 when he was created to be frozen at 16 post meltdown)#i know annuals arent always taken into consideration by writers #but im choosing to believe superboy annual #bc that makes more sense to me than dc never letting the boys age #(also. dc comics should bring back recap issues. its fun to see characters reflect on whats happened to them)

Anyways, Genlock is a substance bright teal in color that Vlad obtained mysteriously after his mansion mysteriously burnt down (*cough cough* Atlas gave it to him *COUGH COUGH*) and shared with the Fentons. Any biotic (natural) materials that comes in contact with Genlock is corroded away immediately, including but not limited to human skin. Abiotic materials are not effected whatsoever. When interacting with ectoplasm, however, it seems to suck the ecto into itself and transfer the energy into more Genlock, essentially giving acess to infinite Genlock if you have infinite ectoplasm. It was also used to upgrade Valerie’s huntress suit to be able to attack Noises; Noises are practically immune to any typical anti-ghost weaponry and only become vulnerable once shot with Genlock.

#and no I'm not going to explain just yet how Atlas got genlock first or what it actually originates from #this is an ongoing story and I already have it planned out for when to reveal that information so this is basically just a recap #I wanna tell the entire story so bad now but I also have like a twelve (? Maybe more idk let me vassilate thank you) part plan for the main #Not even mentioning the shit post-plan (story) like it's gonna get alot
