Sinsmas drabble ( inspired by my Sinsmas Helluva theories and hcs )

One night, a few days after Stolas moved into Blitzo's house, Blitzo stumbled upon Stolas singing IL Dolce Suono to a singing rose his sister Gemory delivered to him

Blitzo froze

Oh no

It's a madness/suicidal/revenge aria

Immediately, Blitzo held Stolas from behind and started to hum Behind the Clouds from Cars

Stolas :....What are you doing, Blitzy?

Blitzo : You said this is a really sad song before....just wanted to sing something happier, cuz I've been a similar shit pile too, ya know, soon after I killed Cash....

Stolas : Oh .....

And then the 2 be stargazing and singing together, all the while Stolas let his tears fall and Blitzo helps wipe those tears from his 4 eyes

Stolas struggled to sleep for weeks - all he can truly think of was his daughter. How was she. What was Stella doing to his dear girl.

Even tho Stolas' clan are fighting battles to save Octavia, the DiGalaxises still won't let up - they already set up strong barriers against thr Goetias

And Stolas can't even be there

As the war of the 7 Rings went on, Stolas' sleep cycles began to sleep. Sometimes he would sleep walk around Blitz's apartment, singing sad song. One time he would throw knives at the pictures of those DiGalaxises, until Blitzo and Loona stopped him from throwing knives around the house

' You never loved mother, you never loved me. You love him! '

These cruel words, the harsh tone, very much unlike Octavia's usual self, rung through his brain like a scathing echo that refuses to go away. Stella cackled sinisterly as she brought a mind controlled Octavia to say these harsh words to her face through a mirror.

It was one of the most jarring things Stolas ever experienced.

His daughter. His beloved daughter, now at the hands of those monsters, who somehow turned her against him.

How could they do this?

As if they haven't stooped this low already

In fact, those harsh words sunk Stolas deeper into despair

His friends and allies tried to comfort him about. She didn't mean it. It was all Stella's doing. Perhaps she was literally mind controlled

Only Stolas was so devastated, he didn't notice the hypnotized circles of Octavia's eyes when she spoke those cruel words

It wasn't until one fateful day, near Sinsmas, Vassago teleported in and showed Stolas all the proofs that Octavia was in fact mind controlled

Vassago : Ay, Stolas, you can't just, hole up in there forever! Your hija NEEDS you. We have been trying a thousand times to save her. And as it turns out, the only person who can truly save her is YOU.

Stolas :.....But, brother, Via.....she.....she hates me.....* sobs *

Vassago : Well, I got intel from my spies and.....you may have to sit down on this.

Stolas, Loona and Blitzo watched in horror as Vassago showed them real footage of Octavia being tormented with mind control, being forced to all too tight corsets, dragging a reluctant Octavia to those extravagant parties Stella hosted, etc

Stolas froze. Octavia doesn't hate him, really. She was confused - AND ABUSED

Blitzo :.....That was way worse than I thought.

Stolas : ......* stood up * LETS GO SAVE MY DAUGHTER!!!!

And so, IMP, Vassago and Stolas traversed through Andrealphus' place to save her

When Octavia came out with Andrealphus, in a hypno trance, Stolas faltered. What have they done to her.

He can't even fence his own daughter, and ALMOST GOT KILLED FOR IT WERE IT NOT FOR BLITZO AND VASSAGO'S SKILLFUL DEFENSES AROUND HIM

But during the melee, as Octavia was ready to kill Stolas under the influence.....

Vassago bravely stepped forward, grabbed Octavia the wrist and shouted out an incantation which broke the spell

Silence fell. Andrealphus stood there, stunned, as Octavia snapped back to reality.

She soon caught on what's happening, and dropped her Seraphim blade

And she sobbed and sobbed in Stolas' arms

Stolas : * hooting in comfort * Shshshshshsh. It's alright. It's not your fault. I forgive you.

Octavia : * bawling and keep saying apologies *

Andrealphus : * shocks * WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! KILL THAT LOWLIFE, YOU STUPID GIRL!

Vassago : * creates a golden portal to Blitzo's apartment * STOLAS! TAKE YOUR HIJA AND GO!

Andrealphus flies an ice dagger at Stolas, who dodged just in time as he lept through the portal, with a scared Octavia in his arms

Once they finally escaped, Octavia could not stop crying on the couch

Her father scurried around to wrap his daughter around the blanket, made her Jasmine green tea for both, and sat down with her to have this heart to heart talk

Octavia told him everything. How she actually stood up to Stella for her abuse and cruelty, especially after she finally figured out the whole truth of things - through eavesdropping on Stella's conversations behind her back, and also reading Stella's diary, and then Stella actually inflamed Octavia as Octavia tried to defend herself and flee...and Andrealphus comes in and puts Octavia in a mind control trance.

Stolas wept as he did first aid on his daughter's arms, which have been burned by Stella in that confrontation.

How can some people do this to their own child?

Not even his own parents are this terrible to him and his sibs!

As Stolas did the bandages and aloe on Octavia's arms, Stolas starts to sing the lullaby ( You will be Okay ), with a more hopeful tune

To his surprise ( in a good way ), Octavia softly sings along

And as the two end the song in a hug....IMP and Vassago finally returned from Vassago's portal, looking all battered

But they are smiling and cheering

Vassago : WE DONE IT!! THAT PENDEJO PUTA LITERALLY FLED LIKE A COWARD, AND HIS SISTER GOT FROZEN BY ANDRE BY ACCIDENT!!! HAHAHA!

Blitzo : Well, first imps to be able to defeat a royal! I can see the headlines about it already.

After much catching up, Stolas and Vassago had an emergency meeting with the rest of the Goetias through facetime, while IMP helped comfort Octavia

The Goetias all reacted in horror, and they all gasped when Stolas showed them proofs of Octavia's injury

Arrangements are to be made - Octavia shall move into her paternal grandparents' place after the next New Years Day until the whole mess is over. For now, she can stay with Stolas for Sinsmas.

Such suggestions are suggested by his parents, and Stolas reluctantly agreed.

He knew that his current position - and mental state - isn't the best to take care of Octavia. She needs to be safe from harm, so he agreed. He also asked Octavia about it, and she agreed

It was one of the hardest things he has ever done

After ensuring Octavia is okay, Vassago temeported back to his sun palace to prepare for his Sinsmas party festivities. He even kindly teleported Moxxie and Millie back to their abodes

That night, Loona, Blitzo, Octavia and Stolas sleep together on the couch, all wrapped up in a cozy warm blanket

The next day at Sinsmas Eve, Octavia enjoys her first ever non royal Sinsmas

There are decorations, ugly Sinsmas sweaters, Blitzo and Loona made most of the food while Stolas helped. Octavia spent the Sinsmas Eve admiring the apartment, and spent the morning watching sitcom with Loona

It isn't like the royal Sinsmas galas

But the 4 are safe together, for now

And that's already enough for Octavia.

She already had those ghastly Wrathian and Sloth Royal garments that Stella forced upon her to be burned down last night, and she's just enjoying the Sinsmas season with her new found family.....before she was sent off to her paternal grandparents' place

That night, in the new IMP offices in Lust, Blitzo gave a warm welcome to Octavia, and everyone there instantly liked Octavia for her down to earth and polite mannerisms

Octavia never really partied with non royals before. Usually, it's basically fancy galas of Hell's royalty, with near endless champagne and caviar

However, within the assortment of paper plates, pot luck meals cooked by all the hires, and karaoke booths....

Octavia felt a new warm fuzzy feeling.

She's found herself a new real family amongst these non royals

And she likes it

Having the IMP office moving from Imp City to Desire City in Lust is definitely a big change, but it's done largely out of accommodating the huge number of new hires and also under protection of Ozzie ( especially considering the situation with Lucifer, Lilith and Charlie then )

Moxxie and Millie stayed in an apartment complex next to Blitzo, Stolas and Loona's, and their apartment complexes are below the new IMP offices

I decided to take a break from writing and start working on my theory journal I just got so I can work out different theories (mainly Loona lol) and like idk why I never considered this, but like why if all of Loonaverse is just Heejin’s dream 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m mainly saying this bc every time I see her MV, I reminded of how like wonderland-esque it is.

I present to you a will so strong that it defies all that would stand before it: science, biology, finance, reason.

It has defeated the efforts of medical professionals, direct physical and psychological intervention, thousands of dollars, and years of effort.

It is the epitome of defiance in the face of insurmountable odds.

It is contained within a very. smol. borb.

I give you the gorgeous idiot at the center of it all: Petrie.

So cockatiel hens can lay a handful of eggs each year, with or without fertilization or even companionship of another bird (species and gender notwithstanding). Also if said ladybird has bonded with her human; she don’t judge. They can produce clutches of a couple to five (or more, if feelin’ sassy) at a shot, and it’s typical to have maybe two clutches a year if any at all.

Unless you’re Petrie.

If you are Petrie, you can churn out stupid numbers of little white ovoids, each one of which contains enough craziness fit to drive your human off the deep end. I lost count after she’d pooped out thirty just over the course of one year; there was maybe a three-week span when she, for the love of some deity somewhere, took a breather. (That’s a little under ten clutches; at the time I was removing them as she laid them when I could distract her before I realized I was making the problem worse.)

Thing is, Petrie is very pretty. She has an apartment next to her buddy Loona, a Very Old Man who has no interest in her That Way. There’s one brain cell between them (spoiler: it’s his) and Petrie typically has the memory of a gnat. Cockatiels and similar small parrot(lets) are thought to possess intellect along the lines of a human toddler. Cause-and-effect are something Loona understands quite well. You can see him mapping out his path from where he is to where he wants to go, and then watch him implement it. He knows where the bathroom is down the hall, and how to get there. He knows where he is not allowed to go in the kitchen, and goes there anyway. He has specific calls for “Where are you? Okay, thanks!” and “Hey, I’m hungry and don’t WANT these pellets” and “WE’RE OUTTA WATER BC SHE SHAT IN IT AGAIN.”

Petrie, tho. She will fly from her cage, land upon the floor in front of it (near the ladder that leads up to the entrance), and walk in circles backwards, screaming, until rescue.

...she is very, very pretty.

So Cockatiels aren’t laying hens, right; their tiny bodies are not designed to churn out calcium-fortified baby-containment units on the regular. Chronic layers can become egg-bound--they run outta calcium to the point that the egg’s shell is neither hard nor soft enough to pass. It gets stuck, jams up the works--being birds, there’s one business-end orifice for all functions. She can’t poop because the egg is in the holding position, and her body doesn’t stop making poop especially if she continues eating. Her strength wanes, and her calcium deficient and heavily-taxed body is not built to handle this shit.

In short, she becomes even more highly stressed, malnourished, possibly septic, and dies.

It’s a shitty way to go.

Solution(s): 

Provide plenty of calcium, discourage laying and breeding behaviors. 

Avoid overfeeding and reduce free-feeding. 

Rearrange the cage frequently, try to eliminate cozy spots that look very NestableTM. 

Don’t touch her on her back, and do not engage when she’s sticking her butt in the air and squeaking. 

Redirect, distract, do anything that gets her out of make-babies mode and go on with your lives.

As you might have guessed, Petrie is a Chronic Layer to end all chronic layers. She shan’t cease egging for no man. You can’t take away an egg she has made, as she will immediately get to work on cooking another. Rearrange the cage all you like! That perch and dish combo really make that corner pop. Change the photoperiod to the point that you are genuinely worried about her psychological wellbeing, until telltale squeaking emits from a covered cage at three AM. Balance out her diet with regulated mealtimes (how DARE you father i am sTaRVinG) that inevitably regresses into free-feeding chaos because she needs all the nutrients bc shitting out eggs. 

You can consult avian vets, plural, on other solutions.

Purchase expensive, stressful shots (as in needle-y injections into this tiny borb) that are intended to have a stern discussion with her single functional ovary. Being governed by hormones, it can, in theory, be deactivated by the same principles--throw the right kinds of hormones at the birb, the birb stops egging.

Petrie’s utterly-fucking-determined drive to create egg after egg after egg is so insurmountable that she has laughed in the face of said injections on a quarterly basis for more than one year. These shots, btw, are $75 a stick.

You can discuss with an avian veterinarian possible surgical options--but removing the ovary in a cockatiel is a high-risk operation on a healthy bird; the prognosis for coming out of the operation alive is fifty-fifty.

Never mind if your bird is stressed and already egg-bound. If you’ve gently massaged her bootie above where the egg sits, and you’ve vaseline’d her butthole (technical term for gentle application of approved oils to cloaca, of course) and given her the equivalent of a bird sitz bath. All short of gently taking this fluffball in hand and just squeezing her.

Thus you find yourselves at the emergency vet at two in the morning because she collapsed at the bottom of her cage, too weak to hold her head up. She’s checked in, and you go home with an empty carrier and stare at the stupid eggs she’s left on the floor of the cage away from any hospitable nesting configurations and amidst all the barriers and deterrents you’ve placed there.

You get the call at work that she’s holding steady but not looking good; she’s malnourished and they can’t risk trying to crack the egg, suck out contents, then gently crush and remove the shell. She won’t survive any sort of stress, never mind surgery. At this point, it’s touch and go if she’ll see the morning.

You can keep her checked in, and hope.

You get the call that she’s made it through the night, holding steady. And then in another day or so, she’s passed the damned egg, is scarfing enough food to feed a rottweiler, and is ready to come home.

That’s just the first time shit got real over the last several years of hyped-up egg production, the first thousand bucks and change.

After she’s back to a healthy weight and shows good on her bloodwork (another stressful test), Petrie goes back on the hormone injections.

She lays three eggs, her average clutch.

The vet says “hey, maybe it didn’t work, let her finish with this clutch and bring her in for an early next shot.”

She ‘finishes,’ as in loses interest in the unfertilized eggs long enough for me to distract her and remove them, rearrange the cages anew, and watch closely that she doesn’t immediately start going ass-in-air squeaktoy. We go to the vet. She gets the shot.

She lays three eggs.

The vet scratches her head, and reminds me of the half-chance of survival should we try to de-ovarize this bird.

She gets another shot, and lays three more eggs.

We stop the shots.

She bulldozes through a bunch of creative, bird-safe debris and obstacles placed at the bottom of the cage. I have found her underneath crunched-up water bottles sitting on eggs, happily poofed up and looking up at me like “I maked these!!”

She became egg-bound a second time, and that was a second vet trip, though not as dramatic or in the wee hours. She passed the egg overnight, to the tune of another cool grand.

This bird. This friggin borb.

She came home, and amazingly went for several months without egging. I was thrilled. She crapped out five eggs in January 2020, a big clutch for her. She rolled out the dummy eggs when I tried to get her to please stop, baby. She lost interest in them faster than usual, and then came another blessed fiveish weeks of egglessness.

And yet, as I sit in my mancave-turned-office for work-from-home, I hear the distinct sound of a fluffy borb shuffling through crunchy water bottles and squeaking as she goes. I can only hope to fortify her, love her, and support her as she works on her next set of freaking giantass (for a cockatiel) eggs.

Petrie contains her own fortitude and sheer will beyond any I can imagine. She persists, against all odds, and survives her own best efforts to do herself in, and when I look at her in exhausted exasperation, she gives me this little cute squinty-eyed cockatiel smile and chirps.

This gorgeous idiot cannot do otherwise, and I love her and hope to love her as long as I can, as I cannot do otherwise.

ok i had to sit down and watch the mvs you listed because idt i've watched any of them apart from loona - butterfly SO!!

1. wHOA I LOVE THE CONCEPT FOR THIS it's very modern fantasy-ish, and there are also some steampunk elements and just wow 😱 plus the choreo was hella smooth

2. ooh the sets for this one are very exquisite!! + their looks 😭👌 this song is very catchy LOL

3. can we just talk about the people who were featured in this mv bc i really appreciate that diversity 😌 and the choreo is just a++

kpop recs

okaaay so i was bored and wanted to procrastinate so i thought why not??? keep in mind that this list isn’t exhaustive and there are probably more recs out there but here are just some of my favorites + why i would rec them!! a lot of the recs are on the popular side of things too but i also tried putting in groups that not everyone know of / listen to already ( i put the more popular groups down the bottom btw ).

day6: day6!!!! day6!!! i got into them like over a year after their debut lmao so i was a lil late but damn am i glad that i started listening to them?? they’re more krock than kpop probably but honestly....pls listen to day6.... a lot of people have been saying that some of their songs feel like anime intros too and i would agree?? like some of their songs would fit v v well into shonen anime intros tbh esp probs like sports anime? ANYWAY, they have a variety of songs like they have different sounds for some of their things but i think they still have a v distinctive day6 feel it’s just a matter of preference which sort of sound you like better? honestly, i would rec all their songs but i think for the purpose of this list my rec for them would be letting go (놓아 놓아 놓아). even without context the music video feels so Raw and Deep too imo but...with context lmao they left a keyboard untouched whenever there are scenes of them playing as a band and that’s bc one of their members left and that always makes me emotional. also, congratulations was their debut and you were beautiful is a continuation of that mv wise which i think is cool af. personal rec though? both tracks from the every day6 march ( how can i say is the title track for that one ). 

dreamcatcher: ok so as i write this they’ve only debuted like a couple of months ago but goddamn i love their concept. here’s a fun fact: they debuted on friday the 13th with a song and mv bearing a horror concept which is??? sick af??? their debut mv chase me basically is about the girls as ghosts haunting this place and it is SO COOL. ofc tho, trigger warning for horror!! i believe that the mv is part of the trilogy, and here is the second part of it called good night. the chase me mv i think is the BEST but i really really love good night as a song too. also !! they have rock sounds which is really cool!! ( also, pls listen to yoohyeon, sua and siyeon covering winner’s really really. )

laboum: MY GIRLS WHO DESERVE SO MUCH. i....honestly don’t even know what to rec for this list just bc i like everything they’ve done?? some i do like more than others though, but i think it also kind of depends on your taste and what you like?? if you like kinda like that cute concept then i would def recommend shooting love?? honestly, i myself am kind of like...picky about cute ish concepts just bc a lot of them seem to blur together but i really like shooting love?? it’s such a fun mv and is such a bop. if you’re here for something slower, though, give fresh adventure a listen. and pls support their latest mv ( as i write this ) hwi hwi which is such a catchy song i’m crying.

loona: they’re doing this thing where they’re releasing info about a member every month this year and they’re letting their members come up with a debut song and mv one by one until all their members are out to public. i think it’s a really cool concept too and they seem really really promising. i would recommend watching each of their individual debut mvs ( hyunjin’s around you is my favorite, but watch them all tbh ) and i still can’t get over how much i love their mv ( not featuring all their members tho as not everyone is “released” yet ) love & live.

pentagon: i....love them??? HONESTLY i have no idea what it is about them that makes me love them so much?? sometimes i’m like pls @ them but i really love them and i think their debut was really Solid too?? it’s an mv called gorilla and it just....really impressed me for a debut mv?? their second title track is called can you feel it and they also they have a super cute mv called pretty pretty lmaooo. in their second ep though ( five senses, with can you feel it as title track ) i really like the song engine!! if you like slower and chiller songs, give beautiful a listen too. the mv isn’t like a Spectacular concept or anything but i just love these boys and how much of cute losers they are.

kard: as i’m writing this they have currently not yet debuted but !! they released three project singles that are all such BOPS HONESTLY. kard is a coed kpop group with some really cool sounds. i’m just gonna list all three project singles here because i def think you should listen to all of them esp bc they’re kind of a trilogy song wise?? their first one is oh nana, followed by don’t recall ( a personal fave ) and their most recent one is called rumor. there are v interesting fan theories about the mvs too, especially for don’t recall.

triple h: they’re a project unit featuring hyuna and pentagon’s hui & e’dawn and their debut is!! really something!! their debut mv is called 365 fresh and holy fuuuck. trigger warning for blood, bruises, violence, murder and suicide, though, so please keep that in mind if you plan on watching. if not, the song in itself is such a Fresh song. i love the entire vibe of their entire 199x ep too.

vixx: kings of dance and vocals, ngl. i swear that they just get better and better and better and every time they have a comeback ever since like chained up they just get even fucking better somehow??? fantasy i really really love too and for the longest time it was my favorite song of theirs but then they recently dropped shangri la which is honestly....quite Something Else. i have admittedly not listened to many of their non title tracks either but i really like black out!!

f(x): i’ll be honest and say that i haven’t really listened to much of f(x) other than their 4 walls era but i love that era?? i love the mv to 4 walls too and i would 10/10 rec it. though honestly pls give the entire album a listen and personally, my favorite song from the album is deja vu.

blackpink: goddamn these girls got popular real quick. honestly one of my fave girl groups though I LOVE THEM SO MUCH and though boombayah i think is officially their debut mv whistle is honestly such a bop and also has a bomb ass music video?? their other two mvs playing with fire and stay are also sick af i just really love them. they got the #aesthetic.

seventeen: i’m just gonna keep this short bc i don’t think i know nearly enough about svt just yet but mansae is suuuch a fun mv imo as a whole group that’s their best mv just because it was really fun?? the song is super catchy too. but give their hip hop unit’s check in a listen too bc it’s Iconic tbh.

bts: they honestly deserve the hype they get?? so much?? you’ve most likely already heard about them but if you’re not into them yet or have yet to listen to a song and don’t know where to start my number one rec is blood, sweat and tears — which is also what got me into them — ( and here’s the japanese ver but keep in mind there are triggers for blood, murder & allusions to drugs, i like to think that the japanese ver is an alternate universe/continuation of the korean one and there are lots of theories on this that you can read up ). althouuugh bst especially the mv would set your standards very high i think?? but honestly....that’s a Must Watch if ur getting into bts. i know that it’s already v popular but it really really deserves the attention it gets imo. red velvet: probably another name that pops up a lot too and they have a really interesting concept tbh?? they have like this duality where red is like a more playful and fun concept and velvet is more classy and elegant in a way?? dumb dumb is a really fun example of the red concept and be natural for velvet!! russian roulette seems like a hit or miss for people too but i think the song is really cute!!

exo: again, who hasn’t heard of them?? monster was a Hit and deservingly so too. i honestly really really love the entire lotto / ex’act album too and i especially really like can’t bring me down from the album. but honestly, as much as how big of a hit monster ( and some of their other mvs like overdose and call me baby, amongst many others are huge hits too ) was, i think my favorite mv they did was sing for you. boy that made me feel things?? many fans speculate that the mv was kind of a tribute to kris, luhan and tao ( three members who left ) too and that made me even more !!! about it. ALSO ALSO they have a sub unit called exo cbx and i just rec everything cbx does tbh but before they became an official sub unit they did this song as an ost for a kdrama and i LOVE it so much it’s called for you.

got7: another really popular group so imma try not talk too much about them but honestly...i think just right is p much an insight into got7′s personality LMAO aka adorable losers. everyone loves all three of their flight log trilogy eras too but my favorite is the flight log: turbulence era. hard carry is a masterpiece that i keep on coming back to and skyway is my other favorite song on the album, followed by boom x3.

2ne1: a disbanded group, which is really sad lmao. you’ve probably heard i am the best too but i just wanna rec come back home and falling in love. 2ne1 was what got me into kpop in the first place too and i love them.
