Of all of the kpop mysteries to be explained in 2024 gfriends disbandment wasn’t one of them

#at least it takes the heat off of the le sserafim girls for a while…#but also you can’t put all of the blame on it for mhj cause hybe didn’t have to give in to her every whim and give her own subsidiary #and take on all of her costs like they clearly trusted her enough to bank on her gg getting money #which it did but like…now that things have gone to shut everyone looks like a moron 😭#like hybe execs were probably ambivalent to gfriend and deemed taking on the struggles of placating mhj worth it #but look where we are now 💀#words of mine #ties up a lot of loose ends in then hybe business timeline too like they were marketing that mhj x source gg for a while at least to people #in the industry and then all of a sudden there were two ggs lmao

I'm busy illustrating a practicebook for work this month so I'm drawing less of my own things. So you get more oldies. The oc group I first created in like 2011 has gone through so many design changes sometimes I forget they were the same characters, but this version of Mira is still dear to me <33

She doesn't quite have this design anymore but she could still dress up close enough! Ada on the other hand looks very different (and that's my current hairstyle, lol)
