Easy: I wasn’t serious about the cheesy invite. Ringo: No, you screwed with me. Thank you. Easy: Look, those are the real drafts. And you are the one who can decide. Ringo... Britta: Oh, oh – first marriage crisis before the wedding? Ringo: The party is not a surprise anymore, so... you can carry your gift there yourself. Easy: What’s in it? Ringo: A band. Painful destruction. They’ll jump out of it at midnight and sing: Easy is an idiot! Easy: You know, that’s why I’m a fan of their lyrics. Because they’re so close to the truth. Ringo: Get over here, you punk. Easy: I was so stupid.
Britta: Jealous? Emilia: Excuse me.
Ringo: Let’s gooo. Britta: Where will the party be? Ringo: On the rooftop terrace. Britta: I’m iiiin. Emilia: So am I, like I said. Easy: Well then, see you in a bit.
Britta: You are jealous. Emilia: Nonsense. Britta: Sure looks like it. Unwillingly single? Emilia: You are probably hardly believe me, but it’s not that hard for me to wrap men around my finger. Britta: Well then, have fun with those two. Emilia: Uh-huh. Thank you.
Emilia: We’ll see if the wedding really takes place.

Love Like Yours- Day 4
Prompt number 4 for the @lovelikeyoursfest ! :^)
Title: Glow Fandom: The Arcana Characters x Pairings: Julian Devorak x OC Word Count: 1041 Rating: G Warnings/notes: none Summary: Payton teaches Julian another magic lesson
“Ok, remember when we were in the tower, and you made fire? We’re going to do something like that again, only with this time.” It had been awhile since they’d practiced magic, so Payton thought they should start with something somewhat familiar. “But we’re going to use light this time.”
“Should I get my notebook out or did you bring one? It’s, ah, rather dark for reading in here.” Payton had put out the fire and most of the lanterns in the shop so the atmosphere would be more conducive to relaxation, but mostly so Julian’s light would be that much brighter.
“Neither.” Payton said, shaking her head. It was still a lesson, after all. “You’re not going to use a circle this time. This time the magic all comes from you. But don’t worry,” she continued, noticing the look on his face. “I’ll help you.”
“I have every faith in you, darling.” Julian smiled.
“I have every faith in you. I’ll guide you when you need it, but you’ll do most of the work.”
“Um, right.” Julian shifted uncomfortably.
“Do you want to continue? You seem unsure. We don’t have to if you don’t want to.”
“No. No, it’s not that I don’t want to, it’s just,” he sighed as a blush crept up his neck. “I’m not very good. And you, you’re like a master. It seems...beneath you to teach me.”
“Julian.” Payton frowned, her heart sinking. She had thought all of this was behind them. It had been months since they’d defeated the Devil, and Julian was still making great progress in his self-worth. But maybe today was just an off day, or maybe it was just the subject. Payton moved so she was sitting next to him. “I’m only as good as I am because I’ve practiced for many years. And I’m, like, half Arcana or whatever. So don’t think of it like a master teaching a new student. Think of it as me, as Payton, sharing a hobby that I love with you, the person I love most.” She smiled and put her hand on his shoulder. “But we still don’t have to do it if you’re uncomfortable.”
“I love you the most too.” He kissed her on the forehead. “Thank you. I think I’m ready. What’s the first step?”
“Ok, first we’re going to meditate.”
“Er...ok.”
“Do you want to hold my hand? You can hold my hand while we meditate.” Julian immediately reached for her hand and interlaced their fingers. “Ok, so now you gotta relax and-”
“Ha! You know I’ve never relaxed a moment in my life, darling.”
Payton sighed. “That’s not true. I’ve seen you relaxed. And I know you’re not going to totally relax here, but try, ok?” She squeezed his hand. “And close your eyes.”
“How long-”
“Like five minutes, maybe less. Ok,” she paused to make sure his eyes were closed. Payton couldn’t help but smile to herself at how he’d scrunched his eyes shut. “Relax, remember? We’re going to take some deep breaths. Each time you breathe out, I want you to try to release the tension in your body even more. You’re gonna be loose as a noodle when we’re done.” Julian snorted and opened his mouth to say something. “Ok, here we go. Iiiin...oooout.”
Payton directed their breathing for two more breaths. “Are you feeling relaxed?”
“Almost as relaxed as that time Nadia let us use the palace bath.”
“Great! Ok, now we’re gonna keep our eyes closed, and we’re going to concentrate on love.”
“Love? Um, here? Now?”
“Uh, yeah?” Payton opened one eye and saw that Julian had turned pink.
“Oh. Ok.”
“Yeah. I locked the door.” She took a deep breath and closed her eye again. “Think of how it feels to be in love.” She squeezed his hand--after all, he was the first thing she thought of when she heard the word. He squeezed back and she hoped that meant the same from him. I’ll be quiet now so you can think about it.”
“Actually, it’s, uh, it’s easier for me to focus when you’re talking me through it, love. Can you- can you keep talking?”
“Of course. I just don’t want to project my feelings over yours, you know? I want you to feel your feelings.”
“I still feel them.”
“Ok. Well then. She thought for a moment, trying to phrase the words. “Think of how bright and warm love is. How it fills you up and feels like a hug all over your body. Think of the passion that you love with, the fire behind the feeling. The passion that makes you want to fight for those you love. Think of Portia and Mazelinka and the reason you wanted to become a doctor in the first place. Think of how lobster tastes and good, hot coffee. Think of a good ship on the open sea. The freedom, the salty sea breeze in your hair.” She paused for a bit. “How do you feel?”
“Determined.”
“Determined?” It wasn’t exactly the answer she was expecting.
“Determined. I want to prove that I love you enough to do it.”
“Julian, I know you’re going to do it, but even if you didn’t, that wouldn’t mean it’s because you don’t love me enough.”
“It doesn’t? Oh. That’s good. I don’t want you to think I don’t. Because I do. More than anything.”
“I know. And I love you too. So...are you ready?”
“I’m ready.”
“Open your eyes and focus on those feelings we just meditated on while imagining the shop bathed in light. Woah!” Payton teetered backward as the shop filled with brilliant golden light that seemed to come from the air itself.
“Ha! Yes!” They exclaimed in unison. “You did it!” Payton clapped him on the shoulder.
“Look at that! I did it!” Julian pointed excitedly at the light he’d just produced. “It’s so bright!”
“And you didn’t even need my help! See? You’re a natural! Julian,” she said emphatically, putting her hands on his cheeks. “I’m so proud of you!” she put her forehead to his.
“I couldn’t have done it without you, darling.” He leaned in, and their lips met, surrounded by the light of their passion.

“If you have any information on the whereabouts of these…”
Here it is again. She turns off the TV.
This is a “good vibes only” office. This is a “good vibes only” life. And who would want to hear about a bunch of teenagers being kidnapped and… Lord knows what? Just being aware of it is enough to mess her up. It’s not out of some sense of superiority that she avoids negativity, but because it’s the only way she can survive.
If she lets despair get to her, she’ll live in fear again.
For that reason, she puts on a smile and turns around to water her plants. There’s no need for her to worry about things that don’t concern her, after all. She’s allowed to live her life without thinking about pain.
She’s inspecting Walter the little cactus when someone knocks on the door.
“- Come iiiin~”
Her colleague Catherine walks in.
“- Hi!
- Hello, Joanna.”
Hm, she smiles politely, but she still looks upset. Didn’t she read the sign? Well, there’s no sign. Still, most people know.
“- What’s up?
- Sorry, it might feel random, but I was uh, wondering if you knew… You know, these disappearances?
- Oh god damn it, Catherine.”
Joanna shakes her head.
“- You know I don’t want to hear about that.
- Of course, I know, but did you see—
- No I didn’t! I don’t want to know anything about something this terrible.”
She grimaces before turning her attention back to her plants. At least they don’t talk…
“- If I’m right… This is pretty important, though, Jo.
- If it’s a group or one of the families seeking donations, you can just leave the pamphlet on my desk, I’ll send them some money.
- No, that’s not…
- Then there’s nothing I can do.”
Now that she’s taking a close look, her tulips looks a little thirsty. She’ll take care of them…
“- There is.”
…Huh?
What’s her problem?
The tulips will have to wait. If she waters them when she’s upset, they’re sure to feel the negativity coming from her.
“- There is not,” she says.
She then turns to look at her again. What a weirdo, she thinks.
“- Listen…”
She sighs, like she’s not the one bothering the other.
“- I understand that you don’t want to let the news and whatnot overwhelm you. Honestly, I do, but please make an exception just for this question.”
She frowns. What question? Is she trying to play with her emotions or something? She doesn’t have a retort to that. She just wants her to get on with it so that she can rightfully reject her once and for all.
(“She thinks you’re involved in the kidnappings.”) Psh! Ridiculous.
“- Joanna, bear with me. Can you please just remind me… What your last name was?
- What?!”
Her entire face immediately becomes red.
“- I’m seriou—
- Are you kiddi—Oh, come on! What’s with that question? What do you want from me, all of a sudden?
- Joanna…
- Joanna, Joanna, Joanna doesn’t want to hear it!”
She clenches her fists… and starts to laugh nervously.
“- Can’t a girl change her identity and forget about her dark past in peace? Apparently not! Catherine has to show up out of nowhere and bring it up for nooooo reasooonn!”
She shakes her head. Seriously, who would ask something like that? That’s completely inappropriate, isn’t it? She’s in the right, isn’t she?
She turns to grab the watering can. Fuck it.
“- Please.
- Please leave.”
She finally goes silent. Good.
As she waters her tulips, though, Joanna can still feel her presence behind her. Can’t she take a hint? It’s more than a hint by that point.
 …
“- Tch.”
Huh?
Catherine clicks her tongue.
Really? Is she going to act like she’s losing her patience?
“- It’s your son.”
“- What?”
She doesn’t turn around.
“- This is your son.”
She raises her tone.
“- Look at me, Joanna. This is your son, I’m certain of it. He has your ex-husband’s last name. He looks exactly like you! This is a young man with your name, your face, your hair. I have no doubt that this young man is. your. son.”
She mentions a young son.
“- But Cath.”
Ah, it looks like she gave them too much water.
Too bad.
She turns around. The blood has drained out of her face to go inside her colleague’s instead.
“- You don’t know that I have a son.”
Catherine is gripping some sort of flyer in her right fist. She recognises it at a glance. It’s the exact same design as those missing persons announcements plastered everywhere.
“- Well now, I know.”
She unfolds it to hold it under her nose.
She never looked past their overall design.
She doesn’t want to think about teenagers getting hurt. It’s too awful. But she’s now forced to face it – and she sees portraits of a bunch of kids and young adults she doesn’t know.
But one of them…
A young man with a beauty similar to her own – with the shape of her nose, of her mouth, with the colour of her eyes, and that of her hair, but with a texture she recognises from someone she left behind, and his chin, and his expression – like a mirror, that if she blinks, instead looks like the love she lost.
“Jan Lyons.”
The name she no longer deserves.
“Ultimate Pianist.”
(“Is that how far you’ve come?”)
… …
Unable to look away, she straightens her back.
“- Joanna…
- Leave me alone.
- …Why?”
Without thinking about it, she snatches the flyer out of her hands.
“- You know, that’s not my name.
- …What? Lyons? Is it not—”
What’s her deal, acting confused now?
“- Joanna,” she replies.
She turns her back to her once more, but this time, she heads towards her desk.
Catherine doesn’t respond right away.
“- What are you going to do?
- What do you think I’m going to do, Catherine?”
She grabs her cell phone from her bag. If she’s lucky, that loser won’t have changed his number since.
“- I’m going to call my useless excuse of a husband.”
She takes one last look at that face on the flyer. 10 years ago, she thought she made the right choice.
“- You can have this back. I don’t want to look at it.”

FOUND IT THAT TOOK WAY TOO FUCKING LONG-
---
“You know how I say I’m not gay?”
“Having trouble?”
Edward scrunched his face, hands fiddling with the hem of his shirt as he averted his gaze. It was really nothing new, that he’d come to Barry about his problems, but this...this was a topic he wasn’t too sure about.
He knew of Barry’s Bisexuality, hell, most of the people he knows are part of the LGTQ+ community. And yet he was still unsure, should he have really come to him for this? Would he know what to do?
He was quick to catch on, so maybe he does.
“Uh....yeah.” Edward awkwardly admitted, sitting on one of the beanbags in his lair, Barry seated on the other. Barry smiled at him, resting his head against his palm.
“So, what prompted these thoughts exactly?” He could hear the amusement dripping from Barry’s tongue and internally cursed the other into the sun, sighing as he leaned back.
“The fuckin’...fuckin’ everyone.” He grumbled, pressing his palms against his eyes as Barry chuckled. “Everyone? As iiiin?” Edward let out an exasperated sigh, a redness flushing his cheeks as he hunched into himself a little.
“They’re too hot for their own good, okay?” He spoke snappily, turning his glare to Barry, who simply continued to smile at him. “And what about them is hot?” He asked, tilting his head slightly. Edward narrowed his eyes. This boy was out for something, Edward was very much aware of this. But damnit, he was going to dig his own grave anyways.
“I don’t...know. I mean...uh,” He licked his lips in slight nervousness, humming quietly to himself as he tried to think. What about them was hot? He wasn’t sure, he didn’t exactly remember what it was about any of them that made him...feel this kind of way.
“Well, what’s the first thing you want in a person, at the most?” He perked at that, blinking owlishly for a moment. “Uhm, I guess I just want someone who can actually put up with my shit?” Barry huffed at that, but didn’t comment any further.
“But other than that? Just someone I can get along with.” He sighed, leaning back into the beanbag to look up at the ceiling. “Vague, but varies.” Barry muttered, Edward giving a half-hearted nod. “So, someone with a personality you enjoy?”
He stopped, face contorting slightly as he pursed his lips. Really, if he thought about it now, he really did like people with nice personalities. It always just made him feel good, knowing there was someone out there who could put up with him, get along with him, relate and not relate to him, anything really. “I...” He trailed off, at a loss for words as Barry hummed.
“So, do you ever actually consider someone’s gender? Have you actively thought about it-”
“No.”
The room fell quiet.
The realization, the very thought of it, stunned Edward. For as much as he spoke to ‘not being gay’, when had he ever even considered dating a person based on their gender? Was it really something he cared about? Even a little bit?
No, no it wasn’t.
“That kind of sounds like being pansexual to me, Ed.” He’s heard of that one before, one of the more commonly known sexualities. Where a person doesn’t think romantically of another’s gender first, but more so them as a person. Was it really that? It suited his situation, but...
“You’re not sure?” Edward grumbled a bit, turning to face Barry again, who’d since ditched the smile for a much more neutral look, calm, yet thoughtful. “I...no, not really.”
“There’s no pressure, then.” Barry stated, reaching up to pat Edward on the shoulder. “Sometimes, you don’t even need to care about what you’re labelled as, or you can just forgo labelling all together. What matters is that you know what you like, and what you want in a person regardless of who they are in terms of gender.” He smiled, letting his hand rest against Edward’s shoulder after. “Is that okay with you?”
Edward stared for a moment or two, hesitantly taking Barry’s hand and pressing it against his cheek instead, eyes fluttering closed. “Yeah,” He muttered, relaxing as Barry rubbed his thumb soothing against soft, dark skin. “Yeah, ‘m okay with that, right now.”
He didn’t need to figure it out right now.
He had the rest of his life to do so, anyways.
It’s okay.
---
Baby boi baby boi baby boi baby boi-
What Edward told Barry first when he was figuring out his sexuality?
I'll come back to this once I've made an official post for the requests! Don't be so hasty buddy XP
Edit: Changed my fucking mind, I’ll talk about it, but no drabble of it. Yet-
He’d definitely say some shit like “You know how I say I’m not gay?” and Barry will just understand INSTANTLY like, “Having troubles?” and he just slowly nods like, “ah....yeah.” and I won’t give you any more cause I’m thinking hard and don’t wanna spoil what I have in mind-

Memoria: Doctor’s Visit
If you want to blacklist these, you can use either the tag #xdu memoria scripts or #xdu scripts
Reminder  that these are copied straight  from XD Unlimited itself, so any grammatical weirdness, mistranslations,  and/or mischaracterizations are  not my doing.
In-game Summary: “With the medical staff absent, two girls finally get to play doctor. But when someone turns up in need of real assistance...”
Tumblr media
Kirika Akatsuki: "We're heeeere! It's time for our medical checkup!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Huh? Looks like nobody's here."
Kirika Akatsuki: "Yeah, you're right. Hm? Ooooh! Shirabe! Shirabe! Look at this!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Hm? What did you find, Kiri-chan? Are those nurses' uniforms?"
Kirika Akatsuki: "And they look like they're just our size! What do you think? I bet this would look great on you!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "...I'll wear one if you do, Kiri-chan."
Kirika Akatsuki: "Of course I will! I'll be the nurse and give you your medical exam!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "That'd be weird, a nurse doing a checkup on another nurse. We need patients to run checkups on."
Kirika Akatsuki: "Oh, good point... Then first, let's find ourselves a patient!"
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Excuse me... I'm not feeling so well."
Kirika Akatsuki: "Oho! Methinks we've found ourselves a patient!"
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Huh?!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Hehe! Perfect timing, Kiri-chan. Quick, let's change into our nurse uniforms."
Kirika Akatsuki: "Ah..."
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Huh?"
Kirika Akatsuki: "Hey, just where do you think you're looking, buster?!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "No peeking!"
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Gwaah! U-ugh..."
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Mrrmph... Mmph?!"
Kirika Akatsuki: "Heheh, looks like you're awake. Now just stay nice and quiet..."
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "This way, we can give you a nice, thorough checkup. Now then, shall we begin?"
Tumblr media
Kirika Akatsuki: "Sooo, how are you feeling?"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Breathe iiiin, and ouuut... Hmm. With the gag on, I can't tell if that's good or bad breathing."
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Mmf! Mrrrmphh!"
Kirika Akatsuki: "Yes, the patient does seem to be in a bit of a bind. Ah, well, whatever! What should we check next?"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "I believe a temperature check usually comes next... Should we make the patient change clothes?"
Kirika Akatsuki: "Nah, too much effort. It's temperature time! Now let's see. Where's the thermometer?"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Annnnnd... There we go!"
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Hmf?!"
Kirika Akatsuki: "--Huh? Wh-What?!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Kiri-chan, be quiet. You're being so loud that I can't tell the patient's temperature."
Kirika Akatsuki: "No, that's not... Sh-Shirabe, what are you doing?!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "I'm using my forehead to check for a high temperature, dummy. Hmm... Signs point to a slight fever."
Kirika Akatsuki: "Shirabe, you... I can't believe you're doing this..."
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Keep it together, Kiri-chan. If we waver in our nursely duties, it'll make the patient nervous."
Kirika Akatsuki: "Oh! Yeah, that's right! I'm a nurse right now! Everything's fine!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Now, then, Kiri-chan. What do you think we should do with the patient?"
Kirika Akatsuki: "Why, that's obvious. This calls for surgery! Let's go, Shirabe! To the operating theater!"
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Mmrrrrfff!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Wait, what? We're performing surgery for a minor fever?"
Kirika Akatsuki: "Of course! Now that the patient has felt the touch of your forehead, I gotta destroy-- Uhh, perform surgery!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "If you say so, Kiri-chan. Let's do it."
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Mmf! Mrph! Mrrrmphh!"
Kirika Akatsuki: "Heheh. Now that I have permission, you'd better brace yourself!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "If we're doing surgery, we'll need to prep our instruments. You know, scalpels and forceps and stuff."
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Mrrph! Mmf! Mrrrmphh!"
Kirika Akatsuki: "The patient is making a run for it!"
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Oh no you don't!"
S.O.N.G. Agent: "Mrrrf?! Mwrfff..."
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Uh oh..."
Kirika Akatsuki: "...We may have overdone it a little."
Shirabe Tsukuyomi: "Well, it wasn't that bad a fever, so everything should be fine. Let's go find the real staff, Kiri-chan."
Kirika Akatsuki: "You got it!"
