Hi friends,

A few months ago, I noticed that I was having a hard time keeping track of all of the challenges and projects that folks were organising and making fanworks for.

It made me wish there were a central place where I could go to find them again and because I'm a bit of a nerd for metadata and information organisation, I decided to do something!

The PPCU Fandom Projects Database is now online.

There are listings for both current/upcoming projects as well as masterlists of past projects in the fandom. I’ve put together a little guide here.

More info below the cut. I'm also tagging project organisers so they know they're listed and can decide whether they want to be or not. 💕

What is it?

This is a Notion site where I’ve gathered project information and masterlist links. It also makes different bits of information (such as deadlines and submission types) more readily filterable and searchable than when in the tumblr post format.

What gets listed?

I'm defining a ‘project’ as any type of fandom activity in which someone (the ‘organiser’) issues a call out to the fandom to create, submit, or otherwise participate in something that they are putting together. This is separate from individual rec lists that people have created that are their personal reading activity — the key concept is that multiple people have been invited to contribute information and/or fanworks and/or are engaging in other activities that make the project possible.

If you have a past, current, or upcoming project that you would be interested in seeing listed, feel free to tag or DM me, or you can use the tag #PPCUfandomproject and I will add it as soon as I can. I will also endeavour to add projects as I see them.

It's not on tumblr?!

I recognise that taking this information out of tumblr might not be to everyone's comfort level, so please if your project is listed and you don't want it on there, let me know and I will remove it ASAP. Projects that have been included thus far have been tagged below and I will continue to tag folks when things are added so that there is never an instance where something will be on the website without the project creator being informed about it. If it helps to know, the site is not being search engine indexed.

Inspiration.

Paradigm Shift 3

Summary: you get transferred to a new position but it’s hardly a breath of fresh air. (plus!reader)

💼Part of the Bad Bosses AU💼

Dark roast, black. You're tempted to order one for yourself but the extra dose of caffeine might unhinge you after the morning you've had. Transfer, no desk, a firing, a stolen desk, and two painfully aloof bosses.  

You go back up to the office, the short reprieve offering some clarity but not solutions. There has to be some way to get more than a grunt and a closed door from these men. Geez, if you wanted to work with children you would've done so. 

You knock on Mr. Barnes' door. The one next to it opens first. Laufeyson considers you from head to toe and Barnes appears not a second after. He takes his cup without a thanks. 

"Mm, and where is mine then?" Laufeyson challenges. 

You blink, long and hard. Of course. Of course! You let out a slow breath, "what would you like, Mr. Laufeyson?" 

You don't miss the quiet snort from the other door and it closes before you can glance Barnes' expression. You have a suspicion he expected this. It's like your first job when you worked with a bunch of men in stocks. Their numbers were as bloated as their egos. 

“Matcha.” 

The door shuts in your face. Again. You bite down and stretch your fingers wide. It’s fine. It’s fine. Growing pains. 

Matcha... what? Iced? Latte? Hot tea? Smoothie? Wonderful, a guessing game. 

You will be getting yourself another coffee for the trouble. Another trip to Roasters and you settle on the simplest option; just tea. You’re certain if you’re wrong, he’ll let you know.  

You stand at the two office doors and contemplate your life decisions. Is this worth it? Can you beg Odinson to take you back? To send down another poor soul? You almost feel bad doing that to someone else. You’re about to give when that innate stubborn ticks in your jaw. It’s only been a few hours. You don’t just give up that easy. 

Knock, knock. There’s a delay before Laufeyson answers. You’re not put off by it. You know the tactic. It won’t work on you. If his tea is cold, it won’t be your fault. 

“Matcha, sir,” you hold out the cup. 

He accepts it and reads the sticker on the side. He narrows his green eyes and looks at you, “note for next time, I prefer Garcon’s to Roasters.” 

Click. Another shut door. You’re really starting to get angry. You laugh out the flurry of agitation and turn away. What else can you do but think of it as a joke? It has to be. It’s just that absurd. 

You sit at the desk and open your laptop. You get it hooked up to the monitor and refinagle the cords. That’s an accomplishment at least. A tiny morsel of victory. You glance around and frown. It’s like the waiting room in Beetlejuice; everyone looks miserable. Well, can you blame them? 

Your phone buzzes and you check the messages. Girl nights hangs like bait at the end of your day, keeping you swimming through dark waters. It’s a bit ridiculous. Your friends are all like you in one way but all vastly different in many other ways. You all spend your days taking care of men who couldn’t give a shit about any of you. 

You can already taste the Paloma; bitter grapefruit with the burn of tequila. You are dying to drink away this day. You look at the clock and nearly whimper. It’s not even one o’clock. Ugh. 

You plug away at your desk. You get the daily agendas templated then spend time scouring the web. You have something in mind. You’re pretty sure you can make it work. As long as those grumps can do the simplest of tasks. 

You customize the survey and send the link. You doubt you’ll get a response today or even at all. It’s a hail mary, really. Barnes’ door opens, then Laufeysons. Your chest fills with dread. Great. 

“Hello, sir and... sir,” you sit up as they approach. 

“What is the meaning of that quiz?” Laufeyson demands. 

“It’s not-- 

“Asking a lot, aren’t you?” Barnes crosses his arms. 

“No, I just--” 

“What business do you have about my dry cleaning?” Laufeyson hisses. 

“I have lunch when I have lunch. I'm not a child at grade school,” Barnes sneers.

“Okay, woah,” you put your palms out, “first, there’s an n/a column, you can choose not to disclose the information. Two, I need to know what to do. What do you want from me?” 

Both men frown and look at each other, then back to you. 

“I can think of one,” Laufeyson raises a finger, “don’t treat us as children who need you to put our socks on.” 

“Good one,” Barnes scoffs, “also, you could stop with calendar reminders.” 

“Those are automatic,” you mutter. 

“And the arguing,” Laufeyson points at you. 

You sputter, dizzy at their onslaught of criticism. They can tell you exactly what they don’t want but they can’t give you a clear answer as to why you are there. You calm yourself with a breath and sip of coffee. 

“Mr. Laufeyson, Mr. Barnes--” 

“Why him first? My name’s first alphabetically,” Barnes says. 

“I--” you stop yourself and take another taste of your coffee, “if my presence is getting in the way of your work, I will go back upstairs and talk to Mr. Odinson--” 

“Mr. Odinson? Thor?” Laufeyson says, “no, you won’t do that. In fact, that is another item for your list, no talking to my brother. Especially of me.” 

You could tear your hair out. You could hit your head on the wall. You could gauge your eyes out and drown yourself in your coffee. Instead, you smile. 

“Got it,” you say, “well, sirs, good luck with your meeting this afternoon.” 

“Yes, thank you,” Laufeyson intones. 

“Mm, sure,” Barnes says and they both turn on their heels then stop at once. They face you in sync with each other. 

“Meeting?” They ask. 

“Mmhm,” you nod, “it’s in your calendars.” 

They stare at you. 

“If that’s something you’d like me to brief you on,” you say tritely, “you can submit that in the survey.” 

Laufeyson hums dryly and Barnes growls. Neither says anything further as they retreat. You keep your eyes on the screen as your heartbeat races. You can’t believe you said that.

Summary | You just found out you're having a baby, but since Loki is away on a long undercover mission you can't tell him about it just yet. Instead, you turn to your best friend, Natasha, to come up with the perfect way to tell Loki you're expecting. Once everything is in place and Loki is back home, you can't wait to reveal the news and see his reaction to your growing family.

You're sitting on the bathtub's edge with your head in your hands, waiting impatiently for the timer to go off. The box clearly said to wait five minutes for the results, but these same five minutes feel like absolute torture.

And to top it all off, you're currently going through this moment alone because your fiancé, Loki, is on an undercover mission with no way to reach him. The universe's timing couldn't possibly have been worse.

When the alarm finally goes off, you practically launch forward, grabbing the test and looking at the result. Your suspicions are immediately confirmed when the test shows two prominent red lines: you're pregnant.

You can't help but let a sob escape from your chest because while you're thrilled, you're also sad that you can't share this moment with the person you're dying to share this with.

The topic of children hasn't come up too often in your relationship, though the few times it did, you two always came to the same conclusion: as long as you're still Avenging, you won't bring a child into this world.

But this plan has a significant shift, and you might step away from the Avengers sooner than anticipated. It's not that you haven't thought about it, but now that you're officially pregnant, that idea might become a reality.

First things first, though, you'll find Natasha so you can talk things through with her. To make this task easier on yourself, ask the AI for help.

''FRIDAY? Please tell me where Ms. Romanoff is at this moment. I need to talk to her.''

''It appears that Ms. Romanoff is currently in the living room with Captain Rogers and Sergeant Barnes. Do you want me to notify her of your arrival?''

''No, thank you,'' you tell the AI before changing into comfortable clothes; you can't exactly go out there in your underwear.

You left the test in your bathroom for now, and you head towards the living room to find Steve and Bucky cuddling on one end of the couch and Nat sitting on the other side, her body turned to them.

They're in the middle of a discussion about the next movie night since it's Steve's turn to pick the movie. He always chooses the same film, and Nat tries to convince him to pick something else, but she might be losing this discussion.

''She'll agree with me, won't you?'' Nat asks as you walk into the living room, and your eyebrows instantly shoot up, seeing how you didn't know what was happening.

''I'm sure I will, but that's not what I'm here for. I'm here to borrow you for a while,'' you say as you point towards Natasha, who gladly gets up to come with you.

''So, what's up?'' she asks when you lead her to your bedroom, where the test is still lying. The closer you get, the more nervous you get, but if there's anyone you trust with this news, it's Nat.

''Well... I- I have some news to share with you,'' you tell her, unsure where to start. She stops you in the hallway and forces you to look at her.

''Are you and Loki doing okay? Did something happen between you two?'' she asks, her brows furrowed in concern, but you quickly assure her that's not the case.

''No, god no! We're okay, we're doing great, actually,'' you say with a big smile, which Nat immediately reciprocates. All her worries instantly melt away, and how she feels about you and Loki is visible.

''But... there will be something changing between us though, and I want to show you exactly what,'' you say, and before you know it, you're in your bedroom, showing her the still very positive pregnancy test.

''Oh my god, I'm going to be an Auntie?! I can't believe it!'' she asks, and you nod your head before he flings herself around your neck, squealing in pure excitement.

When the first excitement finally ebbed away for a bit, you sat down on your bed with the pregnancy test still in your hand, and then the realization came flooding back that you must also tell your fiancé.

''How should I tell him the good news? Because I don't just want to spring this onto him, it's our first baby, so I want to make it special; I want to make it something he will never forget,'' you say, and an idea instantly sparks in Nat's head.

''I have the perfect idea, and you don't need many things for it!'' she says, and that's how the idea of how you're going to tell Loki you're pregnant is formed.

Exactly one week later, Loki returned from his mission, and after his shower, he changed into something comfortable. Now you're cuddling on your shared bed, making up for lost time.

''I love you so much, you know that? I can't believe I had to miss my beautiful wife-to-be for nearly two months...'' he tells you as he places a soft kiss in your hair.

''I missed you too, but I have a little present for you now that you're back,'' you tell him, and you wiggle out of his grasp, ready to grab the gift box you've prepared with Nat over the last week.

You grab an emerald green box with a silver bow around it and hand it to your future husband as you sit cross-legged in front of him. You watch intently as he unwraps it, lifting the lid, and he watches the sides of the box fall open.

Inside are the positive pregnancy test, baby shoes, and your small letter. Loki picks up the pregnancy test, and you can see tears form at his waterline.

''Loki? Is everything-'' ''I'm going to be a Dad?'' he asks in a small voice, accidentally interrupting you mid-sentence.

''Well, how about you read the letter?'' you tell him, and he grabs it, folding it open.

Dear future husband,

When you read this, you already know I am officially three months pregnant with your baby. Our little River will be born around Easter, and I cannot wait to meet them.

I'm very grateful to see our family grow, and I am forever thankful that you have given me the wonderful gift of our bunny. Our family will officially be complete once they're here, and I hope they will be just like you. Perfect in every way.

I love you forever and always.

As he reads the letter, you can see a tear or two escaping, trickling down his pale white cheek onto the paper. He reads the letter three, four, maybe five times before putting it down and looking at you.

''I can't believe it, we're going to have a baby!'' he says excitedly, wiping the tears away with the back of his hand. He puts the present to the side so you can sit in his lap and cuddle him tightly.

That night, as you two are about to fall asleep, he pulls you with your back against his chest, and you let yourself melt into his touch. His large hand and long fingers are splayed over your belly, fiercely protecting it.

''I love you, hot mama,'' he tells you, and the new nickname has your cheeks heating up. And after exchanging a few more sweet nothings between you, you fall asleep in your future husband's arms.

You could not have wished for a better ending to this perfect day, and now all that's left to do is to wait for your little one to come into this world. But one thing is certain: River will be the perfect addition to your family.

Tarot Project - N°33

This is yet another tarot card- strangely, the first I drew for the MCU. Obviously, it was motivated by the ending of the last show I saw, which did not left me indifferent.

So here is Loki, burdened with glorious purposes, as The Magician.

(If you haven't see the season yet and are avoiding spoilers, don't look for the explanation under the cut!)

For starters, the Magician is said to be the conduit that converts energy into matter. He represents worldly experience and knowledge ; he has seen it all, experience it all, and acts at the gateway between spiritual and material realms- just like would be a God trapped in the roots of Yggdrasil, all seeing, all creating. He is the root of the whole tarot- having access to the symbols of each suits : Wands, Swords, Cups, Pentacles. The Magician has unlimited potential, is manifestation at its best : who else to embody that, than the God of Stories, the most powerful being in the universe? Timely was right- truly a magician.

But that's not all. Let's start with the meaning of the card, upright.

As the master manifestor, the Magician brings you -you, person living in any timelines ever- the ressources and energy you need to make your own choice. He's giving you a chance. Like him, you might be facing changes, new ideas that challenge who you were: it's now time to act on them. The skills (maybe time magic ?) and knowledges (perhaps your brand new sciency PhD) you have gathered along your life path have led you where you are now. You must have a clear vision of the goal you are trying to achieve. It is not enough to be motivated by ego, money, status or fame, by a throne. When you are clear about your "what", your "why"... your "who"... you will be able to take actions. You are powerful, you are a creative being: you can reach, now, your highest potential. Focus on the ONE thing that will truly motivate you. Be active. Be a tree.

Reversed, the card can indicate that are still uncertain. You know that you have to take action, but are uncertain of the course it must take. You are afraid of what you might loose, what path you need to choose; be patient, be attentive- the solution will manifest itself in time, when you'll be ready to accept it. If you are already acting on your goal, the Magician Reversed can be a sign that you are struggling to see progress and success (perhaps because of some annoying Avengers who refuse to accept your perfectly reasonnable demands ; perhaps you can't make yourself kill that one person to save the rest.) Maybe you are not clear on your desired outcome; maybe your effort are misdirected, unfocused. You may be lacking conviction. Perhaps the goal you're going after is not the one you actually need, or even want. Are you sure you want that throne ? Are you aware of the price coming with any glorious purpose ?

At its worst, the Magician Reversed signifies manipulation and trickery. You may be masterful at manifesting, but you are lost, and you may only do it for personal gain and at the expense of others. Does it feels off? Maybe. It might means you were made to work for the highest good, before you find yourself lost. Remember your "why", remember your "who". You have many skills, talents, capabilities, but your real potential is not being maximized. You have to ask yourself- what needs to change for you to reach your full potential? What do you crave the most? You can't lie to yourself: you have to be honest, as painful as it might be. You have to be ready to do what it takes to reach your most important goal.

If, in the end, it matters most to see your friends having a shot at life, at happiness, than it matters to not be alone- then, you know what you have to do.

(God) has been in love with the reader, time passed it turned as a obsession. When (God) learned that the reader will do volundr with their respective human fighter, which is also the reader's lover, it angered (God). I will leave you what will be the ending.

The gods are Thor, Poseidon, Heracles, Hades, Hermes, Odin, Loki.

The human fighter can be the God's original rival in the rounds of the ror series. Thanks a lot.

-He only had himself to blame, seeing you with another man, a human of all things. Had he not procrastinated, just choosing to watch you from afar, then maybe he would have been the one you’re smiling up at.

-His affection for you started long ago, many years, he admired you for your strength but also your kindness.

-As a Valkyrie, you were a warrior and a skilled one at that, but he also saw you with children, allowing them to hold your hands and pull you along after them, giving them such soft smiles.

-He wanted to approach you, to speak with you, but was content watching you from afar.

-Now he was there, watching you hugging another man from behind, pressing a soft kiss into his cheek, in love with another.

-You were unaware of (God’s) affection for you, as you had never spoken to him that wasn’t just a formal greeting, showing them respect, so he couldn’t blame you.

-He could, however, blame the human, fully prepared to get rid of this human and appear in your time of need, to comfort you.

-That is, until he learned you were going to be partnering with your lover as a Völundr in Ragnarok, the battle for humanity’s salvation.

-(God) knew, if you lost, if he won against your lover, you would be lost with him, you would crumble to dust, never to be seen again.

-Thor- It was hard for him to put his personal feelings aside, as he didn’t want to hurt you. However, he was able to get a momentary distraction with Lu Bu, who had proved himself as a worthy opponent, and dare he say it, Thor considered him a friend. The two were all smiles, fighting against one another, getting the challenge they both so desperately wanted. In the end, Thor proved himself to be the better warrior; his eyes couldn’t tear from your body, broken and bleeding, now fading away. He not only lost the love of his life, but also the only person who managed to go toe-to-toe with him, even if you did love Lu Bu rather than him. Thor refused to fight again.

-Poseidon- His mind was calculating the whole time during his match, trying to figure out if there was a way to get you and Kojiro to come apart, to break the bond. That way he could kill the lowly human that took you from him, and you would be safe and with Poseidon. These calculations, however, turned to Poseidon’s downfall, he was distracted and Kojiro was fighting for a non-selfish reason and Kojiro ran him through, slicing his body into several large chunks. As Poseidon fell, he glared at Kojiro but his eyes softened, seeing you appear beside the samurai and he kept his eyes on you until he vanished.

-Hercules- He didn’t want to hurt you, he didn’t want to fight you, but seeing you with a serial killer of all people, set his blood ablaze with fury. He had to rescue you, thinking Jack had tainted you, there was no way a Valkyrie like you was with a serial killer willingly. Jack could see his hesitance in fighting, like he didn’t want to hurt Jack, but was soon able to realize, Hercules didn’t want to hurt you. When you appeared, radiantly glowing, Jack could see the adoration Hercules had for you, as well as feelings of regret. When Hercules hugged Jack close, he was also hugging you, allowing himself to be killed, to keep you safe, to keep humanity safe.

-Hades- Not happy that you were bonded to his opponent, he didn’t want to hurt you; Hades was now faced with a dilemma, he could win the fight for the gods, but lose you, or let Qin Shi Huang and you win, and lose his life in the process. Despite being the king of the underworld, death was something Hades had never even thought about before, but knowing that you Valkyries were giving the humans an edge to fight on equal terms, Hades had to face reality sooner or later. Hades decided to go all out, not willing to pull any punches and if you and this human managed to beat him, then he could die peacefully with the knowledge he had a hard fight. As he vanished, he gave you a small, mysterious smile, one that confused you, as Hades gave a small nod to Qin Shi Huang, recognizing him as the true winner.

-Hermes- Your opponent was overconfident, cocky even, thinking Hermes could only play the violin, but Hermes had to admit, he didn’t look like a fighter, looking more like a butler. Knowing you were bonded to this man, this human, brought him so much anger and sorrow and he refused to hold back. (Human) was struggling, that was apparent, but he managed to land some harsh blows on the god, putting up a fight. Hermes managed to disarm (Human), throwing the blade away, as he knew that blade was you before he grabbed it, using you against (Human), against your lover. You broke the Volundr, not wanting to hurt your love any longer and with that, Hermes charged, running your love through, killing him instantly. You wept over your fallen love, watching him disappear and Hermes felt regret, making you cry, but hopefully now, he would have a chance to approach you.

-Odin- This magic was unusual for him, despite knowing many types of magic and knowing how they work, Volundr was one that was new for the All Father. Odin learned how it works, and what it could do, but now, facing (Human), with you as his Valkyrie, he needed to learn how to break it, to save you from your lover’s fate. Odin had no qualms fighting against your lover, the human who had managed to get you before he could, but did his best to not damage you, as you had taken the form of a sword. He would defend against you, but did his best to not cause any damage, at least until he could figure out the magic. At the end of the fight, Odin was the loser, fading slowly away, focusing too much on getting you, rather than paying attention to his opponent. Odin regretted losing you twice, both due to his own fault.

-Loki- Furious and violent, charged at (Human) with no hesitation, blaming him for taking you away, and now Loki was determined to take you back, one way or another. His fury blinded him, while it made him stronger, it made him reckless, and (Human) took advantage of that, beating Loki back. You had known Loki for years and you had never seen him in such a rage, not like this, it honestly frightened you, and you were one of the bravest Valkyries. When (Human) blocked another blow, he was easily able to tell that Loki wasn’t looking at him, it was like Loki was looking into him, looking at you, something you were quick to realize as well. You steeled your nerves, which (Human) felt and he charged, running Loki through. Loki refused to back down, even as he was crumbling away, Loki kept attacking, shouting out your name before he was dust. You held (Human) tightly once the bond broke, shaking in fear and he held you close, soothing you.

This image bothers me so much.

I wrote 2 long posts on speculation of a time loop occurring, where I think Mobius and Sylvie are in the narrative, and what may happen next if Loki, Mobius, and Sylvie are indeed the 3 original timekeepers.

I haven't discussed where Loki's positioned on the narrative in-depth. We know that his growth, very much influenced by his relationship with Mobius, has led him to:

1. Trust others

2. Believe in others

3. Care for others

4. Self-Reflect

5. Compassion for self

6. Compassion for others

7. Rely on others

NOTE: I don't think Loki ever lacked these capabilities. They were just pummeled by trauma. Mobius knew this, which is why he emotionally invested in him.

There are three plot points Loki needs to meet:

1. Convince Sylvie to join his side by passing on how he's transformed from Mobius's compassion to her.

2. Communicate, in no uncertain terms, how much Mobius means to him.

3. Discover the timeloop and break it to free the timestream they're all in.

Point #7, under his growth, is what makes me dislike the above screen capture. It suggests a self-sacrificial move to either fix or remove the Loom on his own. The implication would be that he's grown to the point of sacrificing himself for others, but we've already seen him do this in Avengers: Endgame. And honestly, he's died and suffered enough times that this feels exhaustingly rote.

On top of this, Loki may additionally be challenged to reverse his stance on TVA recruitment and/or allow Mobius (John?), B-15, and Casey (and OB?) to return to their lives with no memory of him. In other words, out of love for these people, he will sacrifice his friendships with them and choose to be alone (with the potential exception of Sylvie). Doing all of these things may break the timeloop, and it would certainly not be something HWR would expect (as he believes Loki is selfish).

Regardless, I hate this possibility. HATE IT. Yes, the self-sacrifice would show how far Loki's come, but I don't think heroism must always have such high costs. I would much rather have Mobius and Sylvie accompany Loki to the Loom, so that he will not have to make the sacrifice alone (proving that Loki ISN'T alone, but Mobius is not a god and wouldn't last 2 seconds at that level of temporal radiation.

My hope is the above screenshot was purposely used in the trailer as a mislead and that the true solution is something else.

My ideal outcome is for Loki to return everyone to their timelines with their memories intact. Everyone keeps in touch, stays friends, and can be called upon to reactivate the TVA as an emergency response team when needed. I would also love to see Mobius open his home to Loki (and Sylvie) if they need a place to stay and insist upon staying friends with regular visits (if not outright letting them live with him; besides he could use the childcare assistance). If the final shot is the entire team (B-15, Casey, OB, D-90...) sitting around Mobius's dinner table, sharing pie together, I will be so happy.

5 Easy ways to get into cosplaying

Welcome to my first official post! To start off this blog let's explore how to even get started in cosplaying.

Things you should know off the bat about the world of cosplay:

~ Anyone can cosplay no matter their race, gender, or disability, everyone should be able to get into cosplay

~ Under no circumstance should you change your race for a cosplay

~You should not feel pressured to be the "ideal" weight or body type of a character, unless you're cosplaying a monster or an alien you shouldn't feel like you need to drastically change yourself to be "perfect" in fact every cosplay is perfect! ^^

Now that we have established rules, let's learn how to cosplay!

Pick a character

Now this is easier said than done, believe me, but the best way to pick a character is to find a show, movie, or game that you completely love and find a character that you like or resonate with a lot, also dont feel like you can't cosplay a character because you feel like you can't do them justice or you dont look like them, were all here to have fun! for example when I first cosplayed Loki, I felt like i couldn't do them justice because I was short, chubby, and just didn't look like them at all, but when I did cosplay them, everyone loved it and I felt so confident in myself, so lesson of the day, cosplay whoever you want if it makes you happy.

2. Buy or Make

so you picked your character, awesome! Now you need to know whether to buy or make your cosplay, now there's kind of a debate on whether you should buy or make your cosplay and I'm here to say:

it doesn't matter! unless you are going into the masquerade or cosplay contest, buying is not the worst thing you can do, believe me, buying or making your cosplay is completely up to you, whether you don't know how to sew or you need a cosplay ASAP, buying is fine, or if you like the challenge or your character is niche sewing is the way to go.

3. Improve your makeup skills

If you want to cosplay for fun or your cosplays don't need makeup you can skip this part. Still, suppose you want a professional look or want to cosplay a character that doesn't have a normal skin tone you should listen, now depending on your character and where they're from. In that case, your makeup should make sense for them, for example, if your character is girly do a girly makeup look with soft features and pastels for the eyes and lips, if your character is edgy do. Edgy look with dark colors for the lips and eyes, you can even add accessories that you think your character would like, with makeup you can even transform your face, for example, I usually cosplay men. Still, I'm afab and have a naturally soft face, to fix this I do hard contour on my cheeks, I can do a more in-depth post about cosplay makeup if anyone requests it.

4. Prop making

Most characters whether theyre from an anime or game, most likely have a prop with them, whether its something small like a Tesseract for Loki or something huge like a Keyblade for Sora, now like with buying or making your cosplay this applies to your props too, if you want to buy a prop that's fine and if you want to make it that's fine too, it all depends on your character and your skill level, I will say personally that you should have some skills in prop making because depending on how niche your character is a prop for them will most likely be hard to come by, this also applies to the whole cosplay as well.

5. Having fun!

Now this is the most important thing you can do as a cosplayer, having fun and being a good sport, when you first cosplay you'll see people whose cosplay looks great, but it might make you feel small, but the thing is that they most likely started out like you, ill be honest, your first cosplay will not be your greatest one, but having a great cosplay doesn't equal to happiness, what does though is the fact that your cosplaying your favorite character and making friends who also are cosplaying their favorite character, with cosplay comes community and making friends and just connecting over the things we all love is the most important thing you can do

My writing has been a bit off. Darker with angst and triggering themes. I'm trying to find any sort of fluff or levity. It's not happening mostly. I've almost finished a sort of fluffy Joel/Celeste drabble that could have been fluffier but is not. I dunno why. I'm actually in a pretty good mood. I was working on my April Showers challenge and...we'll need more work on it. I wanted to be happy. Anyway, preview time! 😆

“Just fine little brother. Where ya comin’ from? I haven’t done much today, ‘cept be somewhere at the wrong time.” Joel shrugged his shoulders and gave his brother a quick hug. Tommy patted Celeste’s head and she swatted at his arm. 

“Ugh…Millers. You headed home Tommy?” Smoothing down her hair, she shook her head and looked toward the school again. Looked like he was right, and school was not letting out. She was considering heading home as well. “Tell Maria to make some tea for Joel when you get in.” She smirks and steps away, but Joel grabs the sleeve of her jacket.

You lied right to your friend’s face and told him that you like her, she seemed very sweet, that you three should go out for drinks and that she’s beautiful. The last one wasn’t a lie, she was stunning. The rest of it you’re still unsure how you made it all drop from your mouth so easily. His eyes light up and Javier says something that is as sweet as it is a stab, “I’m glad you like her. I was worried you might not and then I’d have to wonder if she’s really right for me. You’re the best ángel.” You think you smiled and gave him a hug before going back to dealing with the ambassador issue. It’s a blur. Getting back to your office and stopping yourself from yelling took priority over before getting back on the phone.

I'm also trying work on my Ezra, Dieter and Javi G stories. One of these I'll make progress on I think. Maybe even my Lucian mini-series though that one is angsty.

I think that since I started writing on this platform, I have made it clear and evident like many other creators, that it is more than obvious that Din never lost his prominence within The Mandalorian, on the contrary… In the finale of this season we will see a more dynamic, more active Din, happy to have resumed his creed, his planet, the circles and the new people he surrounded himself with, like Bo Katan, all his advances and above all, he look satisfied. When we are within a group of people, it is inevitable to interact and here we can see their growth. Since Grogu decided and stayed with Din, his way of thinking definitely changed and the value of protecting, not only his tribe, now the boy, his new friends, his ally Bo Katan and with him grew. that now to his people and everything that surrounds him (the galaxy in general) Thanks to the fact that Bo directed him to "have a greater purpose" that you can hear how Loki's speech (I loved the series) actually makes sense . The character needed a new direction, a great character with charisma, despite his somewhat closed and introverted attitudes, he needs that breath of fresh air and to have a more appropriate path than just being a bounty hunter or a mercenary (look at Boba Fett, technically he was already pigeonholed in that because the same fandom no longer allowed him to leave there)

Din has shown that he not only takes risks in battle or in a physical fight, this season he decided to challenge luck and start giving opportunities and showing confidence (Bo katan) to see how far he could go and what could be achieved, a character that From the beginning, he appeared cold, indoctrinated, inaccessible, erratic, foolish and above all a wall showing feelings and emotions supported by his helmet and armor. It was obvious that the one who would start pulling down that wall would be Grogu, until each stone began to fall and revealed the real Din.

A noble, determined, brave, honorable, shared, humble, sincere man, of few words and a lot of action, reserved but attentive, observant, diplomatic and above all, a great companion. These qualities began to emerge little by little and to show themselves a lot in this season and especially next to Grogu and Bo katan. And they tell me that Din didn't grow and that he lost prominence?? Let me tell you in big letters a resounding, No… you are very wrong.

Summary: You’ve been friends with the Odinsons since childhood. After years of separation, you reunite on Midgard after the destruction of Asgard, but find yourself caught between your old and new lives.

Midgard is different. Everything is simpler but in such a quaint way. You ease into it like a warm bed. The surging traffic, the rush of pedestrians, and even the steaming manholes are intriguing to you. Much unlike the ambient and soft-skied place you grew up. 

What’s better is that you have friends close. Old and new. You’ve learned to cherish them more than count them. You never know when they’ll leave you. So fortunate you’ve been that ones you lost have returned to you. 

You walk into the tower with the big bold letters across the top; Stark. The man whose name it wears is amusingly small considering the immense peak of the building. And he always has some quip ready on his tongue. Not all find his words so funny. 

You approach the elevator and tilt your chin as you sense the shift in the air. The green flash scatters in your vision just as you predict. You shake your head Loki presses the button before you. 

“You said you would not come,” you chide as he lets you on the pulleyed-booth before him. 

“Did I?” He wonders. 

You look at him as he turns to stand parallel with you. 

“Perhaps I was mistaken. You do mumble at times,” you shrug. 

His eyes roll upward. You know it is not his choice. His is bound to his brother, whether he likes it or not. You all are. You Asgardians. A glorious people now lost. 

“These midgardians,” he grumbles. 

“Charming,” you say. 

“Do you think?” He scoffs. 

“Well, you always do try so hard not to be impressed,” you say. “After all we’ve been through, why should you care so much to be above it all?” 

“All we’ve been through?” He challenges. 

“It isn’t I who left, Loki Odinson,” you tut. 

He crosses his arms, “I said I would go.” 

“Not where.” 

“But I said.” 

“Or when.” 

“I left many people behind. My mother and father, not least of all, and now they are gone.” 

“As are mine,” you say without malice. They’ve been gone so long, it is merely a statement of fact. 

“Mm, yes,” he grows quiet. 

“You needn’t feel bad for it. My father picked up that sword and mantle, he faced the battle, he lost. My mother was ever too loyal for her own good,” you sigh. 

“I don’t feel bad. Wasn’t my doing, was it?” 

“Suppose the son cannot atone for the father,” you agree. 

“Perhaps if he’d ever treated me as son,” he gripes. “I tire of speaking of the past.” 

“Then let us focus on now,” the doors open and you strut out. “The rain has cleared and I smell coffee.” 

He follows despite his irritation. He always was so gloomy. Once you bonded over that shared malignance but you grew out of yours. He is older than you, he should have as well. 

“You shouldn’t imbibe it. It is garbage water.” 

“I enjoy it,” you insist. 

“It makes you...” he slithers. “Never mind.” 

“It makes me what?” You wonder as you slow to let him catch pace with you. 

“It makes you... too much. You speak too fast.”

“Your brother is contagious,” you grin and turn into the kitchen. “And you are correct, the coffee is infectious.” 

As you enter, another figure stands by the coffee maker. He stands stiffly by it, head angled as if he’s listening. You know it’s that sense he has of things. The way he feels the rain coming. 

“Light roast,” Peter turns with a triumphant smile, “I heard you coming.” 

“Pfft,” Loki scoffs at you side. 

“You didn’t,” you chime as you meet Peter halfway. 

“Of course! Aren’t you excited? Your first mission.” Peter beams up at you. He is funny. Such a small man but powerful. 

“I must admit I am more anxious than excited, but if I can help your people, I will do my best,” you avow. 

“Always so helpful,” Loki intones. 

“Oh, is he coming? I didn’t think he was included.” 

“Even if I were, I wouldn’t bother fighting your puny battles. I daresay my brother only enjoys the opportunity to boast,” Loki sneers. 

“Do not be so sour,” you gird Loki. “I will do my best and hope it is enough. I cannot claim to be as mighty as the princes.” 

“Oh, aren’t you a princess?” Peter wonders. 

“A princess? How silly. No, no,” you chuckle and pause to taste the coffee. “Mm, you’ve made it perfect, dor-dígull.” 

“Dord....er, what does that mean?” Peter asks. 

“It means ‘little spider’,” Loki spits, “fitting.” 

“I do not mean any harm,” you shoo Loki with your fingers. “But I will not call you such if you do not wish, Lord Parker.” 

“I prefer it to Lord,” Peter laughs. “So, if you’re not a princess, how do you know Thor and Loki?” 

“Hm, we met as children. The prince,” you gesture to Loki, “put a snake in my pillow case so I kept it and named it Jörmungandr. Though he never got so big as to swallow the world. And the other prince, now king, screamed when I showed him said snake and would not stop telling it to turn back into his brother...” 

You laugh heartily at the memory. 

“You... went to school together?” Peter asks. 

“Not exactly. They had lessons and I would dispose of the used parchment and empty inkwells.” 

“So you were a servant?” 

“I was a ward of the crown,” you explain. 

“He needn’t know so much,” Loki harrumphs as he watches from the doorway. 

“What harm is there in it? All there is to know is only words now,” you say. 

Loki grumbles something unintelligible. 

“I wish I could’ve seen it,” Peter says, “I’m sorry that it’s gone now.” 

“Yes, well, it’s as our king says, you are fortunate if you have loss for it means you had something to cherish,” you smile, bittersweet tug in your cheeks. “Well, I suppose we should go to this mission.” You raise your cup but stop yourself from drinking it as you find Loki glaring at you. No, not you, but Peter. “My prince, are you sure you wouldn’t like to come along? I’m certain another set of hands is not unwelcome.” 

“With Stark, I’m always unwelcome,” Loki sneers and another green flash wipes you vision. He’s gone and you’re left with only Peter. 

“I can’t believe he’s Thor’s brother,” he snorts. “They’re nothing alike.”

Ok, ok, ok, Loki: moral of the story.

I slept, I rewatched, I'm trying to be coherent.

So Sylvie. I know people love to hate her, but she's obviously integral to the plot, or they would have kept her at McD's in the second ep. Now what does she do?

She challenges Loki's viewpoint. There's a constant push and pull about what's right and wrong between them. And in 2x5 we've established that Loki simply just does not want to be alone.

But what about people's choices?

The only constant about the tva the narrative has established is pruning=bad.

Everyone was on branched time lines in 2x5, so when the tva took them before the branch could develop, everything around them would be reset.

So what about Mobius' kids? The show really invested some time in that. Mobius is trying, but struggling. He is in constant sale mode, desperate (even trying to sell to B15 later on). So he's short on cash.

And his kids need guidance. They call him at work and left to their own devices, they set shit on fire.

Mobius looks exhausted (the stubble etc). He's very sceptical and even afraid, when Loki shows up and finally agrees to come with him, because Loki says his boys are in danger.

If that Mobius stays at the tva, what about his boys? Why create such a huge emotional scene for nothing?

Also, if the time line hadn't branched (original version, where Mobius got taken at the nexus event), his boys would be erased.

Now from a Rick Sanchez pov that shit doesn't matter, but narrativly, there has to be something to it.

Sylvie challenges Loki by pointing out the branched timelines are what should have happened in the first place hadn't the tva not interfered.

They go back and forth about choices.

Point is, the choices were already made and lead to nexus events and branches and then the tva took those choices away. So Loki dragging everyone back cannot be good, right?

Sylvie wont interfere, even if she gets Loki on an emotional level, because it's not her place.

And Loki realizes that when he says everyone should go home after Sylvie didn't come with him.

Sylvie does interfere, when the branches are threatened, they dissolve, so she helps. She is very much about free will, but she is not careless. She always helped when needed.

BUT SHE DOES NOT WANT TO CONTROL.

Loki does!

So where will that lead? Loki will have to jump back and stabelize all the branches.

Victor probs wont succeed and Loki will do it himself.

But what then?

The morally correct thing would be to let all branches exist with the variants on them. (Especially if we take the soundbits into account when Loki is deliberatly slipping, B15 saying she was happy where she was, Mobius wanting to get back to his boys...)

If Loki gets powerful enough to safe and control time lines (the green lines in the trailer) he doesn't need the tva. He can keep an eye on Kang himself.

But he wants to keep his friends for selfish reasons.

So what will it be?

Also the end will be exactly what HWR predicted. Plus the tva has a fail safe (shown on the screen before spaghettification).

So does the tva have to keep existing? If so, to what extend?

Narrativly Loki would have to put everyone on their respective lines and sit his arse down at the citadel, making sure shit doesn't go sideways. Powerwise that would be cool, he would also be a true hero, but isolated again, after he just acknowledged he needs connections.

Side note: notice how Sylvie makes those connections? Everyone knows her by name. She's a regular at the bar and the record shop. She built herself a life, wrote her own story and encourages Loki to do the same.

So the 'happy ending' would be him saving everyone, and then building himself a life outside of tve tva (since that's an artificial place and his 'friends' there aren't themselves).

But that still leaves the treat of Kangs.

So how do we solve that moral dilemma?

A/N: Part 2 to this AU for my popular AU. Basically a “What If…?” scenario where Steve and Odinsdottir break up because he stayed in 1945. However, he returns sooner than what we saw in Endgame. And not alone…

Also decided to do a variation of Loki where he might've come back but is still part of the TVA.

Y/N gave small bites of the bread Thor was sweet enough to bring her. He needn't bother since she wasn't all that hungry. She wasn't really feeling all that well actually. It's why she couldn't see her friends off that morning. She'll miss them dearly and told Thor and Val to offer everyone her best wishes, especially the newly betrothed couple.

She wanted everyone to be happy for Steve. He and Thor always got along so well, and that shouldn't change just because he was with someone else.

Y/N, meanwhile, had been on her own for the last year and a half. It was already a time of many challenges related to processing everything that happened with Thanos, but then Thor left with the Guardians. She and Valkyrie took over the ruling of New Asgard which involved a lot of paperwork, many officials to speak to, and hosting numerous ceremonies. There was no time to dwell on emotions.

She had no right to be angry with Steve, anyway, since it was a mutual decision for him to leave to not only return the stones but also himself to his proper time. Even though they were in love, he had the opportunity to be with his first love.

She didn't want to be selfish, even though she very much wanted him to stay. After everything, she wanted the simplicity they promised to have with each other. The normalcy they could never properly have except through stolen moments with one another.

But no, she let him go. He deserved happiness after all he sacrificed. If that happiness couldn't be shared with her, then so be it.

However, he showed back up without alerting anyone of his return. Not only that, but he brought her. He brought back his one true love he regretted leaving in 1945 to a world she could be better appreciated in. He was always doing what he could to make those he cared for feel loved.

On a similar note, Y/N wanted to do her best to be happy for Steve. Though if Y/N was being more honest, she knew it was for the best after observing the journeys each of her friends and family had endured regarding love. Wanda, Pepper, Valkyrie, and Strange -- Y/N knew each of their love stories ended in heartbreak somehow. She didn't wish to be part of all that.

Her brothers themselves found love during the unique situations they were in.

First, there was Thor and the Midgardian scientist Jane Foster. They were both different, but somehow they made it work. They taught each other their contrasting ways of life and demonstrated a shared level of respect and understanding for one another. Time went on, and their bond grew as they connected in an uplifting and meaningful way.

It was a pleasure to see her big brother happy. She was there to hear him set his sights on a bright future with Jane that included a welcoming home and many mini versions of him and Jane residing in said home. Yet she noticed that the more he considered a future with Jane, his concerns about losing it all increased. That's when he began to build these walls around himself and kept busy with various tasks that took him to other realms. It was when both he and Jane grew too busy for each other that they chose to discuss the space that formed between them. It became too challenging for them to communicate their thoughts and better to end it all.

Just when it felt like they were ready to give their relationship another chance, Jane decided to give up whatever was left of her health to help save everyone from Gorr. It was a difficult but necessary move that led to Thor making a fresh new start with his adopted daughter, Love. Y/N loved her darling new niece, seeing more of Thor in her every time she visited the pair.

Then there was Loki. It was just like him to fall for a variation of himself. He and Sylvie, this woman variant he talked about, were deeply passionate about what they did and shared many other common traits and ideals, which helped them develop a strong bond. They were able to get along well because of their shared values.

It was a rocky start, but they quickly grew close. Then Sylvie double-crossed him in a way that made him feel betrayed and heartbroken, seeing as he believed he got through to her similarly to how she got through to him. Although it had been a devastating experience, he did not feel the need to hold her responsible. If anything, he understood why she did what she did.

All he does now is travel through space and time with his companion, Mobius, in the hopes that he will find her again and spend the rest of his days with her in whatever way she desires.

That's the way it always goes. The combination of vulnerability and passion will be a powerful force that allows beings to show their feelings, which can be terrifying yet exhilarating. Then the time comes when it's all over. It was a painful realization but required.

It's better to have to hold one's own hand sometimes to protect yourself from harm and ensure that you're doing everything correctly. Perhaps that was the way for the children of Odin. Regardless of how long a romantic relationship lasts, it'll eventually end.

According to Thor, it's better to feel terrible about losing someone's love than to never experience it. He called it "feeling shitty." She believed her brothers had developed such unrealistic expectations for love, especially after suffering the heartbreak of loss and rejection they did. Although she appreciated Thor's input and his words on "feeling shitty" being better than pushing people away and closing off your heart, she wasn't ready to embrace the idea. She had other priorities that were a better use of her time than reflecting on her failed relationship.

It didn't matter that there were still times when she'd feel lonely and sit and think about the time they spent together. Good times like sitting on the roof of the old Avengers compound and talking about everything that came to mind, Steve clinging onto her in the mornings when she'd dare try to get out of bed, or watching old movies together. It's hard to remember the memories they made together.

It's why she wanted to do her best to show how happy she was for him. She didn't want it to be the same every time. She wished to avoid all the pain that came from seeing him. The best solution she could think of for moving on from such an experience was to smile and keep saying she was happy.

A sudden knock at her door startled her out of her thoughts. She told the person to come in, thinking one of the handmaidens was going to enter and tell her that her friends had officially departed. She was hoping this would be the case since the news would help her further in continuing to move on from all of this. Unfortunately, this particular news brought a guest who made her heart stop.

"Captain Rogers, my lady,"

-You couldn’t go anywhere in Valhalla without making heads turn, male or female, and you were so friendly and warm to everyone that you met that everyone could help but like you.

-Many challenged you to fights, wanting to test your strength, and you smiled so warmly that it actually threw them off before you showed off your combat knowledge and strength, you were able to take on groups of warriors on your own with ease!

-Hercules- One of the first people you met in Valhalla was Hercules and you remember your friends telling you that he too was a hero, so of course you had to meet him! He originally thought you were just a fan of his, but you surprised him with your strength, greeting him as a fellow warrior. After learning you were actually an alien, he was stunned and when he saw you sparring with other warriors, he asked to fight you and you were happy to oblige! You started off with friends, sparring, having fun, and just spending time with each other. Neither of you are completely sure when you started dating, as you clung to his back, your arms around his neck, pecking his cheek in greeting and he would always return it, treating you so softly.

-Loki- You met Loki high up in the sky above Valhalla, flying through the clouds before you noticed you had a tail, an unknown man flying after you. You were easily able to lose him in the clouds, almost like you were playing tag with this man. He lost you, looking around, “Where did she go?” you lunged out of the clouds, your arms wrapping around his neck, “I win!” when he managed to turn, annoyed that you managed to best him, he was stunned by your beauty and open affections. His arms wound around your waist, giving you a warm grin, “You sure did!” your elation at his words made him smile so warmly as you spun around together in midair, having fun. Loki was quick to call dibs on you, and when you asked him what that meant he just grinned, telling you that he wanted to date you! You were shocked but were quick to tackle him to the ground to attack him with kisses, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

-Nikola- When he found out you were an alien, an actual real alien! He almost ran you over when he full power sprinted to come and find you. He was in awe, you looked nothing like how he thought you would look like, you mostly looked human, save a few features like your unique hair color and eyes. You were amazed to learn this enthusiastic man was a scientist, and you were elated to tell him all about your people and your powers. Nikola was quite shy when you picked him up princess style, holding him so easily, and flew around with him, but he did admit that it was fun! You allowed him to study the energy that you fired from your hands and eyes, letting him ramble about the radiation behind it without it being harmful to others unless if hit by one. Nikola was definitely just in it for the research, but when you started to hug him and cling to him, asking questions, it was pretty hard not to fall for you. When he gave you a flower, a rose, telling you that he liked you and wanted to date you, you fried his brain after attacking him with kisses, but he had a big smile on his face, so you knew he was fine.

-Chen Gong- How in heaven, hell, Valhalla, space, wherever- did Chen Gong manage to get your attention?! This was a question many asked themselves every single day! Yes, he was a respectable man, serving under the powerful Lu Bu, a great strategist, and had unwavering loyalty, but how did he get a babe like you?! You chose him because he was so sweet to you, treating you like you were the most precious thing in the universe to him, treating with you so much respect and adoration, never doubting your strength, and his loyalty and devotion to you is what drew you to him. You can’t remember exactly how you met him, all you can remember is how red his face gets when you hug him, hanging off his shoulders while you float behind him.
