BTS Cuddling/Showing Affection (HCs)
In honor of Yoongi’s birthday, here is my first writing project for BTS! Massive thank you to @yoongisshadow for being my partner in crime, editor/proofreader, and providing some of the gifs!! Go follow her if you’re not already--she’s amazing!
Genre: Tooth-rotting fluff, rated PG
Word Count: ~1800
Tumblr media
Jin
If he’s chilling on the couch, he likes when you put your head on his shoulder
That way he can rest his head against yours
Has definitely fallen asleep in this position (more than once)
He tends to sleep with his hands resting on his stomach
If you’re there, he’ll fold one of your hands under his, smiling serenely when you rub your fingers in circles over his tummy
If you’re laying in bed, he prefers to lay against your side, with a single arm thrown over your midsection
Will immediately wake up if you move
He enjoys other forms of cuddling as well
Like letting you rest with your head in his lap
“So you can look up and see my handsome face.”
He also loves hugs a ridiculous amount (have you seen those shoulders?? perfect for Hug!!)
Jin will find any excuse to hug you, and wraps his arms around you until he can literally feel you relax into him
Acts of service are his love language
So you best bet he’s gonna cook for you
If Jin doesn’t bring you food (and feed it to you himself) at least once a day, you get worried
You’re his go-to taste tester, and you get stupidly happy upon hearing Jin call to you from the kitchen, “Honey, come taste this for me.”
He owns a Kiss the Cook apron, and he will definitely enforce it
Tumblr media
Yoongi
Yoongi shows affection by giving you nice gifts
Sometimes it’s a coffee, made just the way you like it
Sometimes it’s a $1300 Chanel necklace
There’s no telling lol
Whether it’s a four-dollar coffee or something extravagant, the gift is always presented with a shrug and a nonchalant expression
But when you kiss him and whisper your thanks, he’s all gums
“Bad Boy” doesn’t do PDA, at all. However-
He is known to fall asleep at random, and you usually happen to be sitting next to him when he does
Taehyung has an album on his phone just for pictures of Yoongi snoozing on your shoulder, his mouth open
Tae never posts them for fear of his own life, but he’s sent you a couple
One of them is your lockscreen
When it’s just the two of you, he relaxes a little more
It’s a subtle, quiet vulnerability, but you’ve learned to pick up on it
When he gives you a gummy smile after you’ve had a bad day, you know it means “I care about you”
When he brushes his fingers across your back, you know he’s saying “I love you”
When he asks, “are you cold?”, you know it’s an invitation to curl up into his side
His arm around your shoulder is enough to feel how much he enjoys your presence
You toss and turn in the night, but Yoongi is in the exact same place when you wake
“Of course he’ll be a rock in his next life,” you think to yourself. “He already sleeps like one.”
Tumblr media
Hobi
Bangtan’s resident Aquarius isn’t always the best at showing his emotions via physical affection
So Hobi doesn’t do any mushy-gushy affection in public
Mostly, it’s just him always trying to make you laugh
Goofy dances, dumb jokes, and silly faces. Anything to see his girl smile :’)
Every once in a while, he’ll give you a colored drawing he made, giggling a cute amount when he sees you’re excited about it
When he’s really, really tired, Hobi gets cuddly
He loves laying on his back between your legs, with his arms resting on them
If he leans his head back against your chest, he can hear the soft thrum of your heartbeat
This sound lulls him to sleep without fail, and it’s the sole reason he gets enough rest sometimes
When you come home from a rough day at work, he holds his arms open to you and squeezes you tight
For a man who’s an actual wordsmith, he can get mighty tongue-tied around you
So he puts his most intimate confessions in his raps
No one will ever hear them, but he utters them quietly to you when he thinks you’re asleep
He goes beet red one night when you open your eyes and gaze up at him with more love than you thought you could ever feel
“You wrote that for me?”
He can only sputter and chuckle nervously in response, but you kiss him and say, “I love it.”
“I love you,” is his answer, accompanied by his brilliant smile
Tumblr media
Namjoon
A very loving and sweet boyfriend, as we all can guess
Even being the leader of one of the biggest bands in the world, Joon manages to be a pillar of emotional support for you
He’s always sure to check in with you between practices and recording sessions, or when he’s away on tour
Has never forgotten a birthday or anniversary, treating you to a lovely dinner and flowers every time
He’s never afraid to show his affection for you wherever you happen to be
Sometimes it’s the weight of an arm slung over your shoulders, and a soft kiss pressed to the side of your head
The boys don’t even make fun of him for being affectionate, partly out of fear and partly out of respect because they can tell he loves you so much
When you’re out and about, it’s hand holding
One of your favorite memories is walking down the street downtown, window shopping and judging people together
You’re not sure how Joon makes hand-holding look and feel so cool, but he does
His love language is definitely words of affirmation, but he still likes getting you little gifts here and there, especially while he’s abroad
He knows better than to buy you anything breakable, for fear that it might not get to you in one piece lol
No matter what, they’re always thoughtful
Insists on being the big spoon all the time
So he can kiss the top of your head and wrap his arms around you to make you feel safe
Joon usually wakes up before you and makes breakfast, but on the rare occasion you get up first, he always comes looking for you
Just imagine a sleepy Namjoon waking up and calling out, “Baby?” when you get up before him :(
Tumblr media
Jimin
This boy is constantly kissing you, holding your face with both hands and giggling
And he WILL pout if you’re not constantly kissing him too
Always has his arms around you, hugging you from the back with his chin resting on your shoulder
His favorite thing to do, to make you smile every time, is sweeping you along with him for a dance
Even if you’re not coordinated, he twirls you around the room, singing loudly until he sees you smile
“You’re doing great, baby!”
Jimin showers you with compliments every chance he gets
From your outfit to your hair, to your talents to your glowing personality, he’s got a smooth compliment for it
When you’re relaxing in the evenings together, and Jimin is extra snuggly, he’ll push you over onto the couch and lay on top of you
He thrives on skin-to-skin contact and doesn’t care who sees
Because Jimin is babie, and better yet, he’s YOUR baby
He can fall asleep in any position, as long as you’re snuggled up with him
Hands holding, arms around each other, whatever--it’s all good to Mochi
He prefers to be woken up by you, instead of any of the members, because he can get kisses from you with just a second of puppy dog eyes
Will shamelessly flirt with you regardless of setting, and has definitely made eyes at you while he’s on stage or interviewing
Lots of people have one or two love languages, but Park Jimin has all five
He brings you gifts after every trip, and at this point you have more stuffed animals than you can count
Tumblr media
Taehyung
Also constantly kissing your face
Highkey loves it when you play with his hair (the man is basically a golden retriever)
He’s known to nuzzle his face into your neck, especially if he’s sleepy
Physical affection (giving and receiving) is the recipe for his happiness
Arms? Around you. Hands? Holding yours. Happy Tae? Check.
Tae is especially fond of giving you his clothes and accessories
If you look a bit chilly, Taehyung will immediately take off his coat and drape it around your shoulders
He’ll take off his hat or scarf and carefully place it on you, even sometimes giving you his necklaces and earrings
Loves doing activities together, whether it be cooking, video games, or being outside
As long as you’re nearby, Taehyung is having a blast
He’s particularly enthusiastic when it comes to supporting you in your career and passions
When you burst through the door yelling that you’ve gotten a promotion, Tae is all shrieking noises and throwing shoes
If you start a new hobby, Tae has pictures of whatever it is and has definitely shown them to everyone who will look
“Isn’t she great?”
When you’re alone together, he always serenades you
No matter the music you’re jamming to, Taehyung is dancing around you and singing it to you at full volume
When he’s sleepy or feeling down, Tae’s favorite way to snuggle is the two of you laying down facing each other
That way you can run your hands through his hair and he can whisper sweet nothings to you
Tumblr media
Jungkook
Enjoys receiving affection more than giving, unless you’re completely alone
If it’s just the two of you, Koo will make grabby hands for you to come sit on his lap while he’s at his computer
He’ll pick up takeout and pat the seat next to him, asking you join him for dinner
His hands are literally always in your hair
Brushing, twirling, stroking
Sings to you ALL. THE. TIME.
Sometimes absentmindedly, but other times he’ll show you a song idea and sing it to you shyly
He laughs and blushes a little when you praise him for it
Koo loves drawing on your arms, if you’ll let him, because it reminds you of him
When you’re around others, he isn’t as lovey-dovey, but you notice a slight pout in his lips if you aren’t giving him enough attention
This can be quickly relieved by bumping your nose into his neck, or squeezing his arm gently
But the best part of Jungkook’s affection for you? The way you know he REALLY cares about you?
Homeboy actually responds to your texts.
I know, I can’t believe it either
Koo has been seen many times pulling his phone out during a break in practice and smiling to himself as he replies to your memes and check-ins
The rest of the guys clown the shit out of him for being so babie with you, but he takes it like a champ
Because you’re his girl, and he loves you so much

what kind of future.
Anon requested on 201221: "Would you do a Hoseok one shot of his significant other's 4 year old nephew crashing their bed during the night he sleeps over because of a nightmare and Hoseok is super soft with the reader about this being their future?"
Pairing: Jung Hoseok x gender neutral reader
Genre: very fluffy, established relationship.
2.84k words
Warnings: mentions of a (toddler's) nightmare (aka no warnings).
You and your boyfriend are in charge of looking after your brother's son overnight, and the act makes him consider how he'd like to spend the rest of his life with you. Alternatively, there are many things you admire about Hoseok—one being the tender way he does so well with kids, and one not being the way he seems to possess zero Mario Kart skills.
A/N: Here is the second babysitting-themed request I got. Thank you, anon, for requesting Hobi! I have so much adoration for this beautiful boy ;-; Additionally, this fic is not to be confused with Lee Jihoon's heartbreakingly beautiful ballad of the same title. I definitely recommend listening to it if you haven’t already; it’s full of incredible emotion that blows me away and brings me to tears every time I listen.
Tumblr media
•• You were surprised when Hoseok, your boyfriend of five years, hadn't hesitated to agree when earlier today you mentioned how you're scheduled to babysit your older brother's son tonight.
You know he's good with kids. Hobi has the perfect amount of energy and positivity to get along with them; it's one of the many traits you admire about him. Even though the two of you have been dating since the beginning of your college years, you and Hoseok have never really discussed your future, including marriage and having children. Although you don't doubt he would be a good father one day.
Your brother, Seokjin, was in desperate need of a date night out with his partner and had asked if you wouldn't mind looking after Jisung for the evening until tomorrow morning. You agreed instantly. You aren't ready to have kids of your own anytime soon, but you thoroughly enjoy spending time with your nephew.
"Thanks again for this, (Y/N). I owe you one."
Your brother arrived at your apartment at precisely 5 pm like he said he would, with Jisung already running to your living room and flopping on the couch upon opening the door.
"It's no problem. Jisung's fun to hang out with, and Hoseok likes him too," you could feel your heart soar at mentioning your boyfriend. "He should be here in about an hour once he gets off work. Hopefully, I'll be able to entertain Jwi until then."
"You're better with kids than you think, don't worry too much," Jin playfully ruffles your hair before saying his farewells to his son (who is already preoccupied with your couch cushions).
You wave goodbye to your brother and encourage your nephew to do the same (although the boy is adamant about creating a pillow fort in your living room; Seokjin apparently doesn't often let him in his house).
"Do you have more pillows, Auntie? And maybe blankets too!" Your couch is already naked of cushions, with Jisung sitting on the floor surrounded by the pile he’s accumulated.
You comply with his request and manage to find some spare blankets in the linen closet, along with a couple more pillows.
You follow your nephew's orders of where to place the soft additions on the floor. "What are you planning on doing once we finish this fort, Jwi?"
The boy murmurs, "I was hoping we could play Mario Kart."
You should have expected that answer; it’s one of his favourite things to do on the few occasions he's come over.
Soon enough, your small living room houses a busy arrangement of scattered couch cushions and duvets to make a comfy fort. The four-year-old is nothing less than thrilled about the finished product.
"Auntie, I'm hungry."
You almost forget that you are babysitting, and therefore responsible for feeding the boy.
"Let's go see what food we have in the kitchen," you stand and hold out your hand, which Jisung eagerly takes as the two of you wander into the kitchen. "Has your favourite food changed? Or do you still like pancakes?"
The boy squeezes your hand as he thinks. "I still like pancakes. I also like pizza." He hums in deep consideration, "Maybe I like circle-shaped foods."
You think he's adorable.
"There are a lot of tasty circle-shaped foods, that's a good answer," your eyes scan the interior of your fridge, moving to your cupboards shortly after when you can't find what you are looking for. "I'm sorry, buddy, but it doesn't look like I have the right ingredients for pancakes tonight, though."
Jisung audibly expresses his disappointment.
"Here, let me see if I can call Hobi. Maybe he hasn't left work yet and could kindly pick up some mix on his way." You trek back to the living room to retrieve your phone and find Hoseok's contact.
The line rings once, twice, and a few more times until it goes to voicemail.
It’s unlike Hoseok to not answer his phone, so you try once more.
"Auntie! There's someone at the door."
You must have missed the knocking as you focussed on the dial tone.
Hoseok finally picks up on the line as you make your way to answer the door.
"Special delivery," you hear through the phone and in front of you as you open the door.
You break out into a smile, which only becomes wider as you spot a couple of pizza boxes Hoseok carefully holds with one hand, his other one keeping his phone to his ear.
"Have I ever told you how much I love you?" You help him with the boxes as you usher him inside your apartment. "Because you always seem to know what I'm going to ask you before I even say anything."
"It's just one of my superpowers, don't you know I can read your mind, (Y/N)-ie?" He makes some silly sound effects as he displays how he can 'read your mind.'
"Pizza!" Jisung calls out upon seeing the cardboard boxes on the counter. "Oh, hi, Hobi!"
"Yeah, you better say hi to me," your boyfriend sweeps your nephew up in a hug and lightly spins around with him. "I'm not just your pizza boy; I'm your favourite uncle too, right?"
Jisung laughs as they spin. "I think you're my only uncle, Hobi."
"Exactly. So I must be your favourite by default then, hm?"
"Ah, stop teasing and go wash your hands. Both of you!"
"Yes, Auntie," both Jisung and Hoseok say, the latter mostly to keep teasing you despite your request.
Dinner is louder than what you are used to. The times where you would eat alone when Hoseok would be working late or simply not over seem like a distant memory as you’re sat between the two boys at the small table, seemingly alternating between bites of pizza and bubbly laughter. Jisung had asked if you all could eat in the living room fort, but you could already picture the tomato sauce stains and spilled crumbs decorating your furniture, so you denied his request and were met with a pout in return. But his pout didn't last for very long once he took a bite of the cheese-adorned food.
Seeing how Hoseok gets along so well with your nephew does something to your heartstrings; how he would listen to Jisung with the utmost attention and not hesitate to give the most perfect response in return. Your boyfriend is clearly gifted with children; you can't contain the smile on your face as you listen to him discuss something about dinosaurs with the toddler.
"I want to be Bowser when we play Mario Kart, Auntie," the boy tugs on your sleeve to pull you from your thoughts. "He's a dinosaur, right, Uncle?"
"Actually, I think he's a turtle," Hoseok considers, "but he does look kind of like a dinosaur, doesn't he?"
Jisung agrees without a second thought, now practically vibrating in his seat from the excitement and anticipation of playing the game. It helps that his tummy is now full of pizza, courtesy of your amazing boyfriend.
It isn't yet 7 o'clock, so you figure the three of you could play for a bit before your nephew has to go to bed. With fingers free from pizza grease, you all pick up the small switch controllers and choose your characters for the Kart racing game. Jisung chooses Bowser like he said he would, while Hoseok opts for Yoshi, and you with a Shy Guy in your favourite colour.
You are aware that Seokjin also has this game at his house—your brother was ecstatic when he learned his son also likes to play video games—but you couldn't have expected Jisung to be that well-practiced for a four-year-old. You knew you could beat Hobi at the game, you have many times before, and this evening was no different, but your nephew is unexpectedly your biggest competition.
An hour and a half quickly passes by with the sounds of competitive shouts and the in-game noises of Hoseok's character falling off the map too many times to count. You love Hobi, but certainly not for his Mario Kart skills. Sure enough, it is time to get Jisung ready for bed. You collect the overnight bag your brother left at the door, moving to the bathroom to help the boy get changed into his pyjamas and brush his teeth (in the other room, you hear Hoseok start another race so he could practice by himself).
After only minimal fussing, you manage to get Jisung tucked in the bed residing in the small room doubling as your office and a guest bedroom. Even though it’s only a twin-sized bed, the boy has plenty of room to be comfortable during the night.
"You know where to find us if you need anything, okay, Jwi?" You are now by the door saying your final goodnights to your nephew with Hoseok beside you after shutting the game off. "I'll also leave a nightlight in the hallway so it won't be completely dark."
"Thank you, Auntie (Y/N), goodnight. Goodnight, Hobi." Jisung waves at the two of you after yawning with a wide mouth.
You and your boyfriend wish a final goodnight before you close the door until it is only slightly propped open.
Hoseok takes your hand as you leave the short hallway and find yourselves back in the living room. You are finally pulled into a warm hug.
"Should we clean this up tonight?" Hobi whispers into your hair as he embraces you.
You relax in his hold, also keeping your voice low when you say, "No, Jwi will probably want to sit in his fort again tomorrow morning before Jin picks him up."
You feel a gentle kiss on the top of your head.
"Okay," Hoseok begins playing with the ends of your hair. "Why am I so tired too? It's only 8:30."
"There's nothing wrong with going to bed early." You turn your head so you can see Hobi's pretty face, "Who knows what time that kid will wake us up in the morning. Jin said he's still an early riser."
That is all the motivation Hoseok needs to take your hand once more and lead you to the bathroom so you could also get ready to go to sleep.
"Hey, Hoseok?" you whisper in the darkened room, feeling for his hand beneath the covers.
"Yeah?" he hums back.
"How did you get to be so good with children?"
There is silence as your boyfriend thinks, then claims, "It's funny that you say that because I don't think I'm particularly good with kids." He stops once more, thumbing the back of your hand. "All I do is make sure I listen to them properly and treat them well. I don't think it's anything special."
You move closer to Hoseok, finding a safe place in his side. "I think it's special. I've seen you before with other kids too, not just with Jisung, and it's the same thing. They just seem to like you." You run your fingers upwards on his arm until you reach the side of his face. "You're very likeable, Hobi."
With your thumb grazing over Hoseok's cheek, you lean in to give him a kiss against his soft lips. He tastes of peppermint from your toothpaste but smells familiar, like home.
"You're very lovable, (Y/N)," he replies, mirroring a hand on the back of your head. Although you can't see his face in the darkness, you can hear the smile in his voice. "I love you."
"I love you too."
You and Hoseok unexpectedly succeed at falling asleep at around 9 pm. Yet, you aren't sure for how long you manage to sleep as you are awoken by Jisung, who has appeared on your side of the bed.
"Auntie?"
Jisung's voice is quiet. He feels bad for waking you up, but he keeps your sentiment in his mind about coming to you if he needs anything during the night.
Hoseok is the first to wake at the sound of sniffles. He reaches over to turn on the dim table lamp, only to find the toddler with tear-stained cheeks and tightly clutching his favourite stuffed whale plushie.
You stir from the sudden introduction of light and sit up, becoming immediately concerned at Jisung next to you.
"Hey, come here," you coo, helping the boy get situated between you and your boyfriend in your bed. "What's wrong, Jwi?"
The boy sniffles a few more times before saying, "I h-had a bad dream."
Hoseok had already moved around him, now taking a tissue to help dry his face before rubbing soothing circles on his back. Jisung moves to sit slightly closer to Hobi, leaning into his touch.
"Do you want to talk about it?" your boyfriend asks, his voice is nothing but gentle.
Jisung nods, "There were monsters. Big monsters with spikes. They looked scary." He squeezes the plush whale, "They were chasing me, but I wasn't fast enough."
Hoseok nods as he listens carefully, gently swaying as he rocks the boy to calm him down.
"Would you feel safer if you stayed here?" you offer. "I promise you no monsters can get in this room."
Jisung accepts with a quiet "Please," and begins to settle beneath the covers.
It doesn't take much for the toddler to relax; Hoseok is humming some tune barely audible to you as you stroke the top of his head softly.
Hobi becomes silent when the sound of Jisung's breathing steadies out, and his grip on the whale loosens.
Despite your tiredness from your interrupted sleep, you remain in that position watching your nephew as his chest rises and falls. His small nostrils on his round nose flaring every once in a while.
And as you watch the boy, Hoseok watches you.
He admires your beauty—an obvious quality, but something to admire nonetheless—and the way your touches are so delicate. You have expressed your doubts about being good with children in the past, but all Hoseok can see now is how caring you are as you make sure Jisung is properly asleep and feeling better.
"Hey, (Y/N)?" Hoseok whispers, "What kind of future do you think we'll have?"
You direct your gaze to your boyfriend and nearly melt at the way he is looking at you so fondly.
"What kind of future do you think we'll have?" you smile and repeat the question to him, suspecting that he already has an answer.
Hobi beams. "I can picture us in a similar situation down the road, except maybe it's our own child between us." He carefully fixes the blanket ever-so-slightly so that Jisung is fully covered. "I can picture us in our own house one day after we're married. It'll have a nice kitchen with plenty of room for slow dances at midnight and a big bathtub in the ensuite that I know you'll use plenty." He gently tucks some hair behind the toddler's ear. "I can picture us growing old together." His gaze once again meets yours. "That's the kind of future I want to have. Anything is optional, except for you. You're the only requirement I ask for, my love."
You want to squish into Hoseok's embrace once more, but you refrain yourself from moving at the dispense of Jisung's newfound peace.
Instead, you whisper back with glassy eyes, "The only kind of future I want is with you, Hobi."
Your boyfriend glows at your words and warms your heart with his dimple-clad smile.
Down the road, you would, in fact, end up engaged to Hoseok one day, and soon after to be married as well. Your house wouldn't have a bathtub in the ensuite, but the kitchen would have plenty of room, and your husband would ensure that he twirls you around like the royalty he sees you as.
One day, you would find yourself with a daughter of your own and catching Hoseok brushing her hair as she gets ready for her first day of kindergarten. She would be so happy with the little ribbon he tied in her hair and would run to your arms to show you.
One day, you would find yourself going grey with Hoseok still next to you; the same Hoseok who would kiss you silly to wake you up on the morning of your birthday, the same Hoseok who would insist on paying for your dinner every time he'd request a date night.
The same Hoseok who would tell you "I love you" in the most gentle tone of voice, never failing to make your heart soar at his words.
One day.
But now, you remain here, in your small apartment with no ensuite nor a large kitchen. You're here, laying next to your beautiful boyfriend with your nephew between your bodies. Both boys are fast asleep, yet you remain awake and thinking about what kind of future you'll have.
What kind of future will you have?
You're open to anything as long as it contains Hoseok.
Yes, one day. ••

Jimin Reaction| You and Hoseok try to make him jealous so he’ll confess to you
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were having a get together at the dorms with all of the guys. They had invited you over to play video games and watch movies with them all, just a chill night for the 7 of you. Hoseok had noticed the way you were pining over Jimin the entire night. You seemed to be hanging onto every word he said, you insisted on sitting in the middle of the couch so you could sit by Hoseok and Jimin, although you would never admit it. And every time Jimin smiled or laughed you looked at him with such fondness in your eyes he honestly wanted to squish your heads together so you could just kiss already.
Hoseok also notice the way Jimin was looking at you too. Whenever you spoke, his attention was only on you. The way his lips tugged up into a smile whenever you would talk to him, how he looked away shyly when you smiled at him. And how he had squished himself on the small love seat that was only meant for 2 people just so he could sit next to you. About an hour into the night, Hoseok was tired of watching you two pine after each other so he decided to ask you into the kitchen with him to help grab drinks for everyone. Once you two were alone in the kitchen he ambushed you.
“How long have you had a crush on our dear Jiminie?”
“What are you talking about I don’t-“
“Ahh don’t you dare lie to me y/n. I am your best friend and I know these things.” You sigh and look into the living to make sure Jimin was still there. He saw you looking at him and smiled and waved at you, only for you to do the same.
“I guess since always? I don’t know. I don’t think there was really an exact moment where I was like oh hey I think I have a crush on Jimin. It just was always there?”
“Oh my gosh you two are so cute! So are you going to confess tonight?”
“Um.. absolutely not.”
“Why?!”
“Because he doesn’t like me?”
“Are you blind? That man looks at you like the sun shines out your ass.”
“Hobi!” You smack his arm.
“What? I’m serious. He’s absolutely smitten for you.”
“No he’s not Hoseok. Now can we please just get the drinks for everyone and head back there?”
“So you can be close to the love of your life?”
“Hobi you better shush before I shove this can of soda into your mouth and make you shut up.” He laughs at your threat, knowing that there is no bite behind it.
“What if I prove it to you?” You ponder his words for a moment.
“And how do you plan on doing that?”
“We make him jealous of course. If he thinks that I am going to be making a move on you, then maybe he will be pushed to confess to you sooner.”
“Hobi, I don’t want to pressure Jimin into doing anything he’s not ready for. And besides he doesn’t like me!”
“Well if he doesn’t like you then he won’t be pressured to confess then right? If you’re so sure he doesn’t like you then this won’t even be an issue?” You look back over at Jimin and see him laughing at Taehyung shouting at the game him and Jin are playing.
“Alright fine. You’re on.”
“Just follow my lead then.” You walk back into the living room with a bunch of soda cans in your arms. You feel Hoseok slip his arm around your waist as you two walk back into the living room. Jimin immediately notices and makes a frown, turning away from the two of you quickly and turning his attention back to the TV. You set the drinks down on the table and go to sit back down on the couch, only to have Hoseok sit on the couch on the other side of the room and tug you down to sit next to him. He makes sure to have you close as he rests his arm around your shoulders. Jimin is openly staring at the two of you now and he doesn’t look happy. He starts to squirm uncomfortably in his seat.
“Hobi I can’t do this look at Jimin he looks so sad.”
“Does that mean you believe me that he likes you then?” You two are talking in hushed voices so he doesn’t hear and Hoseok’s lips are almost pressed against your hear as he’s talking quietly to you. Suddenly Jimin stands up from the couch and walks into his bedroom, loudly slamming the door behind him. All of the members look around in confusion until Namjoon’s eyes settle on you and Hoseok.
“Really you guys? Hoseok you knew Jimin had a crush on y/n why are you being so cuddly with her?”
“Because she didn’t think Jimin liked her. I thought maybe if he thought I was making a move on y/n then he’d get jealous and finally confess to her but.. I think my plan backfired I didn’t mean to make him sad..I should go talk to him.”
“No.. I’ll go. It would better if I went. You all just stay here okay?” You stand up and begin walking towards his room, knocking softly on the door.
“Go away.”
“Jimin, it’s me. Open the door please?”  It takes a few moments but he finally gets up and opens the door. His hair is looking a little unkempt and his eyes are puffy. You never wanted to make him this upset and you feel horrible. “Jimin.. I’m sorry.” He steps aside and lets you into the room, closing it behind you. He walks over and settles back onto the bed, holding a pillow tightly to his chest as he stares at the ceiling.
“Why should you be sorry? For being happy? I’m.. glad Hobi hyung has you. You guys look good together and I think he’d be really happy with you.” You can tell how hard it was for him to get those words out and it makes your chest hurt.
“But I don’t want to be with Hoseok.”
“You don’t have to say that just to spare my feelings y/n. It’s just a silly crush I’ll get over it.. maybe… eventually.” You approach the bed and stand next to him.
“Can I lay down with you?” He nods and scoots over. You lay down next to him and pry his hand way from the pillow, lacing your fingers together. Jimin looks down with a look of surprise on his face.
“Y/n.. what are you doing?”
“I’m not dating Hobi. I don’t even like him like that he’s just my friend.”
“Then why would you..?”
“Because I was trying to make you jealous.”
“Jealous? Wait a minute do you like me too?”
“Of course. I like you a lot Jimin. I’m really sorry for making you sad that was never my intention I promise.” He turns on his side and rests his palm on your cheek.
“I’m not mad. I was just really hurt for a little bit there but.. I’m okay now I promise.” He leans in and pecks your forehead leaving you flushed and smiling. You both hear a quiet knock and turn towards the door.
“Come in.” Jimin says. The door slowly opens to reveal and sheepish looking Hoseok.
“Hey, Jimin. I just wanted to say I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay hyung. We got everything sorted out now right, angel?” You blush at the pet name.
“Y-yeah. Everything is good now.”
“You want to come back out here with the rest of us?”
“Sure. You ready love?” You aren’t sure if you’re going to get used to all of these pet names Jimin is calling you.
“Okay.” Hoseok leaves the room and you go to stand up but Jimin immediately tugs you back down into his lap and kisses you firmly on the lips. He pulls away and sees your shocked expression and apologizes.
“Sorry. I’ve just been wanting to do that for a while now.”
“Don’t apologize for that. Ever.” You lean in for another kiss but Jimin stops you.
“We should probably go back out there. Or I’m not going to want to stop kissing you.”
“What’s the problem with that?”
“The problem is that all of the guys are out in the living room and will probably hear everything or be suspicious of what we’re doing. Wait until after they all go to sleep. Then I promise I’ll give you as many kisses as you like. Deal?” You smile and stand up.
“Deal.”

Honey Tea
Tumblr media
; Hoseok x Reader
; Genre: Fluff
; Word Count: 2.2k
; Synopsis: A bad day is always made better by something soothing and warm, which is exactly what you get in the form of Jung Hoseok.
; A/N: Just something I wrote as I was feeling a bit down and wanted to be cheered up with Peppermint Hobi <3 just like honey tea, he’s soothing and calming. Obviously this is part of the Peppermint world. It’s unedited but whatever.
-
Today had been a crap day. A really, terrible day that had made you just wish that you could go home, go to sleep and get to tomorrow already. You didn’t even really have an exact reason to blame to justify why it had been a bad day. It was just one of those where everything went wrong.
You’d struggled to write an article that Taehyung had suggested to you this morning when you’d found yourself at a complete writer’s block. It had only been after you’d managed to slog through half of the article that your computer had promptly died and it hadn’t bothered to autosave for some god forsaken reason.
And then the deli down the street messed up your order and gave you cucumber for some god forsaken reason. In the whole time you’ve worked at Poppin’ Culture, you have never asked for cucumber. For good reason! The very smell of it makes you gag, so you’d been just delighted to have to almost throw away $5 worth of food because cucumber is an insidious food which infects anything it touches with its taste.
Jimin had been highly amused by your disgust and had traded you his lunch instead, happily eating your tuna salad with cucumber while you got stuck eating a sad cup ramen that didn’t even taste good.
Then you’d discovered that there was no peppermint tea left in the kitchen to make the drink that calmed you down the most, leaving you furious for the rest of the afternoon. To top it all off, Hoseok hadn’t been at work all day due to being at a gaming convention with the games team to help record videos there.
All you really wanted right now, was to curl up with your boyfriend on his couch and watch him play one of those RPG games he adores so much while you munch down on the delicious pizza he can get delivered from that place near him.
Instead, you’re stuck on your own couch wrapped up in a blanket in some ratty old pyjamas that look terrible but are comfy. And your food option is going to be mediocre Chinese from the restaurant down the block that you can never quite tell if you like or not. But you can’t be bothered to cook, because all you want to do is slob on the couch and watch a box set of something.
Not Breaking Bad, because you really just can’t get into it despite all the critical acclaim and Hoseok begging you to just watch it.
Instead, you’ve clicked onto Sabrina on Netflix and begin rewatching the series from the start. Neither you nor Hoseok had quite known what to expect once you’d started watching it, yet you’d both been pleasantly surprised with what you’d seen and had devoured the second season when it had arrived.
You only get five minutes into the first episode when your doorbell rings, causing you to pause Netflix and scowl at the door. Who the hell is coming by your apartment at this time and why are they interrupting your brooding time?
Groaning quietly, you stand and shuffle over to the door while wondering if maybe you’d ordered something. You normally get your stuff delivered to Hoseok’s lately as you’re there more often than not and his neighbour is nicer than yours.
Yours just likes to bitch at you and moan because they’d taken a parcel, as if you’d asked them to defend the nation or some bullshit. So it was just easier as Hoseok’s neighbour liked you and constantly tried to feed you cookies every time you went over. It was honestly to the point that Hoseok pouted a little at the attention you got, leading to you giving him half of the cookie every time.
Unlocking the door, you pull it open just enough to peer through with a moody face before you practically light up with happiness. Swinging the door open, you let out an excited noise before rushing forward to wrap your arms around your boyfriend, who laughs and holds the pizza box he’s holding in the air to prevent you from knocking it to the floor.
The boyfriend who should not be here but instead hundreds of miles away.
“Hobi! What are you doing here?! You’re supposed to still be at the convention!” You rush out, looking up at him with a grin as your chin rests on his chest. Already you feel better, just feeling his solid warmth in your arms and the comforting scent of him.
“Well...they decided that they weren’t going to film tomorrow as it was the last day. So there was no need for me to be there and I got the earliest flight I could.” He’s shuffling you into your apartment slowly, a strange little dance that involves him trying to keep you upright as you seem to be refusing to let go of him.
It’s only when he gives you an exasperated look, his eyes wide behind his glasses while he presses his lips together to try and hold in a laugh that you finally let go, hands moving off him hesitantly before you stand back with a pout.
“But you love those conventions, and that means you could have just spent tomorrow looking at all the cool games and playing them. Didn’t you say that erm...what’s it called is going to be there and you really wanted to play it? Err...Last of Us?” You could barely remember what he got excited over as he got excited over a lot of stuff, but this was a game you didn’t understand why he liked it. It was horror, and he didn’t do well with horror.
Yet he still loved it and went on about it constantly to you.
Hoseok moves past you after kicking off his shoes and heads into your tiny living room, shrugging off his backpack onto the floor before sitting on your couch. His apartment is bigger than yours, and you miss it intensely as he sits there. There’s something oddly comforting about all the nerd memorabilia of his place, making it look far more lived in than your place.
“It’s there, yeah. But I wanted to come home to you. Jimin messaged me this morning and said you’re not in a good mood so...yeah.” Your earlier bad mood seems like a distant memory now and you want to just sit on his lap and kiss him silly, the shy happiness at him voluntarily giving up something he was excited for to come home to you almost threatening to overwhelm you.
How anyone could dislike this sweet man was beyond you.
Sitting next to him, you accept the slice of pizza with a tiny thanks before you find yourself leaning against his shoulder and sighing heavily. He doesn’t say anything, just takes a bite of his own pizza and lets you stew for a few minutes before you take a bite of your own.
It’s from the place near him, the one that you’d been craving about and suddenly you’re feeling a little bit overwhelmed. The days emotions and stresses finally crack and you sniff pathetically, tears rising as you look down at your pizza slice as if it might have all the answers.
“What’s wrong sweetheart?” Hoseok asks softly, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you tightly into him as he puts his slice back down before putting yours down too. Soft lips press to your forehead and he’s shifting you till you’re as close to him as you can get, legs laid over his lap. “Did something bad happen? You didn’t say anything in your texts?”
Shaking your head, you burrow your head into his neck and inhale him deeply. His innate sense of calm that he always carries with him is soothing right now, his hand making long and relaxing strokes along your back and you feel safe.
“It’s dumb, it’s just...I’m just being stupid. I just...everything felt like it went wrong today and I got super upset and stressed over it all. I’m just...overreacting.” You say pathetically, trying to reassure him that it was just you being silly over it all. Thinking back on it, you certainly felt like you’d over-reacted and felt a little embarrassed that Jimin had even messaged him about it.
Hoseok doesn’t say anything for a moment, just holding you close before he lets out a quiet and rests his cheek against your head. You let your fingers trail over his Pokémon shirt, long since used to his pop culture related fashion.
“Don’t say that, and don’t think that. If you were feeling stressed and upset, then you were feeling stressed and upset. You don’t have to justify it to me or even yourself, okay? Sometimes you just have bad mental health days, and that’s okay. I’m not going to laugh at you, you know I’m the last person who would do that. Obviously things have just piled up for you and today is the day you’d had enough. Are you still upset?” Lips pouting almost childishly slightly, you shake your head as best you can with it jammed between his shoulder and jaw.
“Good, do you want to talk about it?” He lets the question hang in the air and you ponder for a moment, wondering if you actually want to talk about anything or not. Eventually, you shake your head once more before leaning back till you can look at him.
Up this close, you can see almost every pore on his face from the tiny red dot that’s evidently a spot forming to the slightest bit of stubble on his upper lip. He has a ridiculously slow hair growth on everywhere except his damn head, where it grows like lightning and he has to get it cut at least once a month. But facial hair? The man can go days with only the slightest growth.
And he’s quite evidently been lax at the convention, leading to you running your finger over it with a teasing smile. “No, I’m okay. Honestly. Nothing to talk about, just...me getting a bit stressed and I think I missed you more than I realised. I feel okay now, I swear.”
He shifts his head away from you with the slightest scowl, his black rimmed glasses sliding down the elegant slope of his nose a bit more at the movement while his dark hair falls into his eyes, causing him to shake his head once more. Just as you’d said, he needed to get it cut already.
“Okay...but if you want to talk-” You cut him off by reaching up to cup his cheeks, running your fingers along the still smooth skin of his cheeks and squeezing until his lips purse out in a pout. He’s giving you a rather unimpressed look with his eyes, but you know he’s amusing you to make sure that you’re okay.
“No, I’m fine. I just want to eat pizza and cuddle with you. This, us, it’s what I needed. Thank you for coming back early.” Whispering by the end, you let one hand drop while the other plays with the collar of his shirt, running along the edge until you reach his black hoodie.
He sighs before kissing your head again and taking your hand, interlinking your fingers and playing with it carefully. “You’re welcome. I’d rather be here with you than in a room full of people I don’t know. I don’t like going to them without you, it’s just too much noise and people and...yeah.”
Smirking at him, you lean up to kiss at his jaw teasingly. “That’s sweet. I hope you were okay while there too. And I’m guessing the fact that you can get sex here has nothing to do with coming back either right?”
Hoseok is sputtering, his cheeks turning a bright red that rivals when he’s drunk as he looks all around the room and his free hand running through his hair nervously. “W-wha-what, no?! That’s not w-why I c-came back! I love you, that’s why! The s-s-sex is...a bonus.”
“I’m kidding, I doubt you even thought of that. But I will say that I love you, and thank you for thinking of me. It means a lot.” You lean forward and grab both pizza slices before feeding one of them to him, not even sure which slice was who’s anymore.
He watches you warily for a moment before accepting and nodding slowly. “I’m always thinking of you so, no need to thank me. And I love you more.”
“Are you wanting sex or are you trying to butter me up to let you play that game I don’t like again?” You eye him, narrowing your gaze on him as he steadfastly refuses to look in your direction even as you can see him trying to press his lips together.
“Sex?”
“Oh, you so want to play it don’t you? I hate it! Why can’t you play it when I’m not there?”
“Because I like playing games with you! And I like it!”
“Fine, but only because you brought me this pizza.”
“I love you.”

Chapter 9 - The Flu Hits Home
As you stood beside the counter, running a hand through your hair, you could faintly hear Hoseok reading to the girls. Hearing his high-pitched voice as he read the story, it really made you smile. You were so glad that Hoseok had no problem reading to them. Curiosity got the better of you after a few more minutes, you walked towards the bedroom. The door was opened slightly, allowing you to get a glimpse of Min Ja’s bed.
Hoseok was sitting with his back against the wall, book in his hands. Min Ja was sitting beside him, snug under her pink covers. Grinning, she watched as he turned the pages. Hyo Bin was on the other side of him, her eyes mostly closed. She was probably very close to falling asleep as she rested on his chest. Hoseok was beaming as he read the story, Min Ja copying all his wild noises and voices.
“And then, the little girl ran alllllll the way through the forest with the magic jewel.” Hoseok beamed, pointing to the little girl on one page. “See? Look…. weeeee.” He traced his finger along the trail, and Min Ja stuck her finger out to do the same, giggling as they both made the noise together, quiet enough to not wake Hyo Bin up. “Where’s she going?”
“She’s going to the castle.” Min Ja pointed out. “But I can’t tell you why because you have to read it.”
“Oh, okay.” Hoseok chuckled a bit, turning the page. Resting against the door frame, you watched Hoseok finish the story about a princess who saved the world. Min Ja was getting sleepier and sleepier with every turning page, rubbing her eyes and yawning as she rested against Hoseok to listen to him read it. When he noticed she was getting sleepier, his voices toned down just a bit. “Wow, that was good, huh?” He asked, closing the finished storybook.
“Mhm…” Min Ja nodded, rubbing her eyes.
           “Are you tired now?”
“No. You have to read another one.” You murmured. Hoseok chuckled.
“Min Ja, it’s time to go to sleep. Mr. Hobi read you a story already…” You finally cut in, walking towards the bed. You took Hyo Bin into your arms, not waking her up as she curled into your touch.
“Mr. Hobi?” Min Ja began, yawning as she watched Hoseok get up off the bed. “Can you read more stories soon?”
“Of course, I can.” He said cheerfully, watching you set Hyo Bin into her bed and tucking her under the covers. “But it’s time to sleep now, alright?”
“Kay…” she pouted, nuzzling under her covers. You walked over, fixing her blankets before planting a small kiss on her forehead. Min Ja’s big eyes closed after a few moments, and it wasn’t long before the room was filled with only the sounds of faint snoring. Turning to Hoseok, you motioned for him to quietly exit the room, closing the door behind you.
“I appreciate that…” you said softly as the two of you returned to the living room.
“It was fun.” He said happily. “But it’s been a long day, I’m exhausted.” He admitted, letting out an exhausted sighed. “Taking care of two girls for a whole day is crazy.”
“Please, tell me more about it.” You teased sarcastically, crossing your arms. Hoseok grinned a bit as you led him to the door. He slid on his shoes, grabbed his belongings, and turned to you.
“I hope you had a good time today.” He said sweetly.
“I had a lot of fun. I appreciate you taking us out like this.”
“Of course. Like I said, I wanted to help de-stress you guys. Did it work?”
“Well, my back still hurts, I’m starting to see double, and I really want a drink. So, not much has changed.” You replied, a grin forming on your face. “But I did get that amazing video of you being terrified by that snake.”
“Aaaaaaah…” Hoseok groaned. “I cannot believe you got that on video. You do realize how long that thing was, right?”
“Yeah. That made it even funnier. I think it was trying to play with you.”
“Well, I wasn’t interested.” Hoseok huffed. You laughed again as the memory flashed through your mind. As you stopped yourself from laughing, you glanced up at Hoseok again. You felt so calm, which was what Hoseok was trying to have happened. Sure, any day dragging around two children under five would leave any sane person exhausted, but internally, you felt so calm and so relieved that you got to spend a day just enjoying yourself instead of stressing out over the thought of Weong-Bin and his idiocy. When was the last time you felt that way? You had no idea. Without thinking, you took a step closer to Hoseok, and he blinked. “Hm?”
“Hey…weird request…but can I have a hug?” Without hesitation, Hoseok grinned and opened up his arms.
“Of course.” He said, practically beaming. Almost immediately, you latched yourself onto him, your hands wrapping around his torso. He was so warm, and you couldn’t help but nuzzle your head into his chest. You could hear him chuckle as his arms wrapped around you. “Not that I mind, but any particular reason?”
“Your hugs always made me feel better, that’s all.”
“So, I could have saved a whole days’ worth of won today if I had just given you a hug?” He teased. You both let out a small laugh, and you only hugged him tighter. “I’m kidding.”
“I know.” You said. “Thank you for today.”
“Ahh, don’t mention it.” He repeated again. “I like spending time with you.”
“I hope we get to do more stuff like this.”
“Just let me know when you’re free and we can work it out.” He said simply. You sighed, closing your eyes as you just allowed this tight hug to envelop your entire body. “…Is there anything else bothering you?” He asked curiously.
“Other then the ex-husband stuff? No.” you admitted. “Everything that comes and goes in my mind kind of falls back onto that.”
“Ah…”
You were silent for a moment. There was a wave of emotions hitting you right now, some that were good, and others that you would rather go away and never come back. After that moment passed, you let out a deep, almost frustrated sigh. “Damn you’re so comfy.” You pouted. Hoseok chuckled a bit, resting his chin on top of your head.
“Thank you.” He said softly. “I’ll wait here for a few more minutes until you’re ready to let go.” You nodded, your hands gripping onto the back of his shirt. At this moment, you felt that if you let him go now, you may never get him back. It felt silly to think such a thing, that much you knew, but still. Being in this moment made you feel safe and content, and you didn’t want that moment to leave you.
“Okay…” you said softly, finally pulling back from the hug. “I’ll let you get going.” Hoseok nodded, stuffing his hands into his pockets, allowing only the thumbs to poke out. “Get home safe.”
“I will.” He said happily. Nodding, you waved him off as he headed towards the elevator. Slowly closing and locking the door, you took a deep breath of air into your lungs, held it for a moment, and exhaled it out into the air. You always knew deep down, even when you were married, that the way you felt for Hoseok had never truly left you. It wasn’t something you ever spoke about, but you knew it was true. Maybe that was why Weong-Bin didn’t even like the guy. You knew him in college, and he was well aware of your relationship with Hoseok from beginning to end. Feeling your mind begin to race with different thoughts and feelings, you knew it was time to go to bed.
---
Sunday was a good day too, another one that you had off. You spent the time with the girls in the apartment, giving the family a chance to sleep in before getting up and spending as much time as you could coloring, watching TV, or just playing some games. Time to just have a lazy day with the girls did not come around often, but you were so happy when it did. The three of you were sitting around the kitchen table, just after lunch, coloring. Min Ja was drawing pictures of the zoo to show to her daycare friends the next day, and Hyo Bin was scribbling. Well, sort of. She had woken up crankier than usual, but you assumed she was still lethargic from the day prior and needed more time to sleep. However, she was absolutely refusing to be put down for a nap. You were unsure why, you could see that she was tired, but every time you tried to put her into bed, she would kick and scream and cry, begging to be picked up again. It was odd, but you tried to push it off as a rough day, one that would balance itself out as the hours passed.
It didn’t though. Instead, it only got worse. As Sunday turned to Monday, you found Hyo Bin only getting fussier and more difficult with every passing hour. It got to the point where she refused to eat. Anything that was put near her the mouth was quickly rejected and met with a fit of whimpers and sobs instead. You had no idea what to do. Trying to think of something quick, you gave her some children’s medicine, one that induced some drowsiness, and put her to bed early.
“Mommy, what’s wrong with Hyo Bin?” Min Ja asked curiously as she watched you exit your daughter’s room. You sighed.
“I don’t know. Maybe she’s getting sick.” You admitted.
           “Oh…” She nodded.
“Yeah. So how about you sleep in my bed with me tonight? Just so we don’t get sick too.” Min Ja’s eyes sparkled, and she nodded eagerly.
“Okay!” She said happily. You helped her get ready for bed, and the two of you spent the next little while snuggled under your covers with the TV on. Nothing much for kids was on at this hour, just a few different cartoons and game shows that kept Min Ja giggling at chatting for an extra hour. It wasn’t too much longer before the sound of the TV lulled Min Ja to sleep, and you turned it off. Hoping that whatever was bothering Hyo Bin would pass, you found yourself unable to sleep, anticipating the worst.
Unfortunately for you, just as you were about to go to sleep, your mind trying to assure itself that Hyo Bin was most likely getting a little cold and would be fine, you heard a noise coming from the girl’s bedroom off the baby monitor. The sound of whimpering, the sound of sobbing, the sound of gagging. Quickly, you shot up in your bed, the sudden shift waking Min Ja up from her slumber as you got out of bed and hurried into the bedroom.
“Hyo Bin?” you called out, turning the light on and hurrying over to the crib. Leaning in, you got a good look at your daughter. She was pale as a ghost, her eyes heavy as if she hasn’t slept since you put her into bed. You quickly scooped her up into your arms and pressed a hand to her forehead. “Oh my God, you’re burning up.” You gasped, rubbing her back. “Okay…okay…” Hyo Bin weakly gripped onto your nightshirt, sniffling as you tried to calm her down. She was coughing and wheezing as if she was struggling to catch her breath. “Ooooh baby, okay. Let’s go take your temperature.” Heading out of the room and towards the bathroom, you passed Min Ja, who was standing at the door watching.
“Mommy?” she called out in curiosity. When she saw you enter the bathroom, she quickly followed. “Mommy, what’s wrong?” you could hear in her voice that she was starting to get scared.
“Nothing, Min. Go back to Mommy’s bed. Hyo Bin just isn’t feeling well.”
“Noo…” she whimpered, eyes watering as she hid behind the bathroom door. You sighed, deciding arguing would only make things worse. You sat on the toilet, Hyo Bin in your lap as you put the thermometer in her ear. She tried to squirm a bit, but you managed to get a temperature.
“…Oh God, 103 degrees. You sighed, holding Hyo Bin close as she continued to cough. It was deep, and you could hear the phlegm in her chest as she coughed, making her whine. “Okay…” standing up, you headed into the kitchen and attempted to find an ice pack or cooling rag to use. When you did, you placed the cold rag around her neck and heard her let out a deep sigh. “There you go, better, huh?” you smiled softly, rubbing her back.
“Mamaaaa…” she sobbed, sniffling. You tried to soothe her as you thought about how you needed to take off work for god knows how long, and somehow get Min Ja to go to daycare without causing too much of a fuss.
“I know, sweetie. We’re going to go see Doctor Park tomorrow, yeah?” You hummed softly, kissing her forehead. You continued trying to soother her back to sleep, but there was no way it was going to happen. Checking the time, you saw it was 1 that next morning, and you needed to get Min Ja to sleep so she wouldn’t be tired the next day. “Come on, let’s go to bed.” You led the girls back inside, having Min Ja get into bed with the promise that you would stay in there with Hyo Bin. You made sure to keep your distance, grabbing a mask from the bathroom and using it to cover Hyo Bin’s mouth in case she coughed anymore. “Min Ja, you need to go to bed.” You said softly, watching your daughter toss and turn in her sleep.
“I don’t wanna.” She pouted. “I wanna stay with you and Hyo Bin.”
“If you don’t rest, you’ll get sick too.” You pleaded. “I promise, I’ll be right here.” Hyo Bin let out a few more coughs into her mask and you rubbed her back. “Please, Min….” Min Ja pouted, nuzzling her head into the pillow as she pulled the blanket over herself. You watched her eyes stare at you for what felt like forever, but the darkness of the room and the silence caused exhaustion to overcome her, and she was soon fast asleep. With that settled, you walked back out into the kitchen and sat on one of the chairs, Hyo Bin in your arms as you tried to get her to sleep next. She was much more of a challenge, sobbing and fussing the entire time. Every moment that she seemed she would be falling asleep; a deep cough would hit and startle her back awake. You knew that there was no way you were getting any sleep.
The next morning, you woke up to the sound of your alarm blaring from your bedroom. You had fallen asleep on the couch with Hyo Bin on your chest only an hour ago, but it felt like five minutes. Groaning, you got up, carrying Hyo Bin in your arms. She was still sleeping soundly, and you took her to her room, placing her in her crib so that you could go get Min Ja ready.
“I don’t wanna go to daycare, I wanna stay home!” Min Ja begged, trying to stop you from getting her dressed.
“Sweetie, please.” You begged. “I need to take Hyo Bin to the doctor and if you’re to close, then you’ll get sick too. I can’t have two sick babies, now can I?” You asked. Min Ja felt her eyes start to water, and she quickly hugged you. “Min Ja…” you sighed softly, holding her close to you. “Hyo Bin will be okay.” You said. “I promise. I’ll pick you up early. I just need to take her to the doctor…”
           “Okay…” she sniffled.
“Besides, don’t you want to tell the kids all about the zoo?” you asked curiously. Min Ja nodded. “I’ll send Miss Yun Yun the pictures while we wait for the doctor, I promise.” Min Ja sniffled, wiping her eyes dry. “Okay, good. Now, to call out of work.”
When you called, you got Jungkook on the phone. Explaining the situation, he said that today looked like it was going to be slow, since not that many appointments were scheduled. It almost made him laugh when you asked to make an appointment for Hyo Bin as early as possible, and he managed to get you in first. Relief washed over you knowing that the staff insisted you take as much time as needed. With everything settled and prepared, you threw on a pair of stretch pants and a tee-shirt before whisking your kids out the door.
After dropping Min Ja off at the daycare, and having another mini battle wither about going, you were on the next train to the doctor’s office. Hyo Bin had woken up by now and still had a deep cough, making you keep your distance from everyone else on the train. While you were glad that she began to show symptoms earlier rather than later, you knew that by the severity of the symptoms that you were going to be out of work for a few more days.
---
“Alright, come on in.” Dr. Park called, smiling as you entered the waiting room. “Much different seeing you here without scrubs on.” He teased, making you chuckle.
“I know, I’m sorry it was so last minute.”
“Oh please, kid’s getting the flu is always last minute.” Once you got into the room, he began an examination of Hyo Bin. He knew all of her shots and records because he was the one to administer them to her since birth. Hyo Bin was squirming, not wanting to be touched, but being a professional, Dr. Park was able to complete the examination anyway. “Yeah, it definitely looks like the flu. She’ll be out of commission for a year the next four days.”
“Christ, I don’t have anyone to babysit her.”
“Don’t worry.” He assured. “You’ve racked up a lot of time off. Use it, stay with her.”
           “But who will you get?”
“Actually, Seokjin was asking about taking a few hours here and there for some extra cash. I’ll call him and see if he can take over your shift at all.” You sighed in relief, though finding this out was new information. “I’ll go make that call and write her a prescription. You’ll be out of here in no time.”
“Thanks.” You said softly, smiling as you watched him walk out. Moments later, there was a knock at the door again, and Jungkook stepped in.
“Hey.” He smiled. “How is she?”
“Flu.” You sighed. “I won’t be here for a while. Dr. Park said Seokjin might be able to take my hours for the next few days.” Jungkook grinned. He had always liked Seokjin, since Seokjin trained him when he first got hired. Jungkook saw Hyo Bin resting against your chest, hiding her face as she coughed into her little mask. When Dr. Park returned with the prescription and also confirming that Seokjin would be working those hours, you hummed and left with a thank you.
On the train ride back home, you called in the prescription and then phoned Seokjin. It rang for a moment, but then he answered.
“Heeeello~? World Wide Handsome speaking.” You heard him say. It’s been a while since you really got to speak to him.
“Hey.” You hummed. “Dr. Park told me you’re taking hours again at the office. Is work not going well?”
“Hm? Oh no. Work is going wonderful! But you would know if you came to see me.” He huffed playfully, and you chuckled. “But I only work four days a week at night. I need more money, so I called and asked if I could work a few hours here and there at the office in the mornings.” He explained. “And my first day back, I’m taking over for you? Lucky meeeee.” You chuckled a bit. You could hear him set you on speakerphone, most likely to get himself ready to hop on the next train to the office.
“Well I’ll let you go get ready.” You hummed. “I’m going home to sleep, I’m exhausted.”
“You sound it.” Seokjin teased, laughing a bit. “But I hope Hyo Bin gets better.”
“Thanks.” You said your goodbyes and hung up the phone. Hyo Bin was sound asleep the entire train ride home, thank god. You made sure to stop and pick up her medicine, along with a few home remedies from the local pharmacy, before taking Hyo Bin home. She slept soundly in her bed, the medicine coursing through her little body, and you collapsed on the couch not long after her. You were exhausted, only running on about 3 hours of sleep, if even that. It wasn’t long before sleep overtook you as well, and the apartment was silent.
You slept for what felt like forever, but it was only for a few hours, before Hyo Bin stirred from her sleep and began coughing. Forcing yourself out of your seat, you headed into the bedroom. It had been almost 12 hours since your daughter had really eaten anything of substance, so that was the next thing to accomplish on your list.
Hyo Bin was a lot easier to feed than she has been over the past few days. She took some scrambled eggs and juice without much fuss, and you could see how relaxed and calmer she looked now that she was eating. It calmed you down too, and though her coughing was still horribly deep, and she was still warm, you were glad she was eating again.
“Feel better?” you hummed, smiling as Hyo Bin nodded. “Let’s go inside…” You found yourself sitting on the couch, your muscles relaxing as you turned on the TV. Hyo Bin lied on the couch, and you put a blanket over her before turning to her favorite channel. Time passed idly, the noise from the TV keeping Hyo Bin occupied as she drifted in and out of sleep. You took this newfound time to do some house cleaning. Dishes were finally removed from the dishwasher, you got to clean the counters, clean up the girl’s rooms, and do some laundry. It was exhausting, but if you didn’t do it now, it would never get done. You made sure to watch Hyo Bin closely, checking up on here every once in a while, as she slept on the couch. Once the bedroom was cleaned, you transferred your sleeping toddler into bed, turning on some soft music in hopes of keeping her to sleep with the gentle noise. It was just as you were heading inside to get some lunch for yourself when your phone began to ring. “Hm?”
Pulling your phone from your back pocket, you saw that Hobi was calling you. You had changed his contact photo to a picture of him with the girls that you had taken at the zoo. He was sitting beside Min Ja with Hyo Bin on his lap, the selfie angled up to get all three of them in it. Min Ja was throwing up a peace sign with Hoseok, and Hyo Bin was holding her bag of popcorn in her hands. It was a cute picture. Smiling, you quickly answered.
           “Hey.” You said happily.
“Hey.” He hummed happily. “I hope I’m not bothering you. Are you at work?”
“No, not today.” You sighed. “Hyo Bin must have gotten sick at the zoo. She’s got a massive fever and hasn’t really been eating too much all day.” Hoseok let out a deep, sympathetic sigh.
“Aww, man. That’s rough. I hope she gets better soon.”
“Thank you. She’s sleeping now. Hopefully, the medicine will break the fever in a few days…” you let out a deep sigh. “Are you working today?”
“Sort of. Jimin and I have started some auditions for the upcoming year. We start in about 20 minutes, so I thought I would just call and see how you were doing.” You couldn’t help but smile at the idea that you were first on Hoseok’s mind more and more with each passing day.
“I hope that goes well.” You said. “Are you still just focusing on the studio's hip hop class?”
“Yeah. Jimin said depending on who auditions, we might expand and add a few more classes for a few different ages.”
“That’s wonderful.” You said happily. “I told you it would happen.” Hoseok chuckled. “Well, I’ll let you go. Let me know how auditions go, okay?”
“I will.” He said. “And tell Hyo Bin to get better soon.”
           “Will do.”
“Mostly because as soon as she’s better, I was hoping that you and I can get dinner again.” Hearing that made another smile grace your lips. “I know it’s something we’ve been talking about for a while.”
“Yeah. That actually sounds really nice.” You said happily. “A friend of mine has been pestering me for months to come to see him at the restaurant he works at.” Hoseok chuckled a bit.
“That sounds perfect. We’ll start making plans once Hyo Bin is feeling better again.”
“Alright, sounds good.” You hummed. “I should get going, though.”
“Absolutely. I’ll let you go.” Hoseok said. “Bye~.”
“Bye.” You hung up and set your phone back in your pocket, biting your lip at the thought of going out to dinner with Hoseok again. It had been a while since both of you had alone time with one another, and it was something you were missing. So, you were hoping that Hyo Bin would get better as soon as possible, for both your sakes.
Hyo Bin slept soundly until you had to go get Min Ja from daycare. You felt bad that you had promised to pick her up early, but after cleaning the house and trying to get things ready, you realized that more time had passed than you wanted to. Luckily, Min Ja didn’t really seem to notice. You had sent over the pictures of the zoo, and Min Ja spent the entire day talking about her experiences petting the alpacas, seeing the bears, and even tried to tell the story about the giant snake that terrified Hoseok and Hyo Bin. She even showed her red panda stuffed animal to her friends, which you brought with you upon picking her up.
“Everyone said they liked my pictures, Mommy.” Min Ja beamed happily as you brought her back into the house.
“That’s great, sweetie.” You said happily. “I told you everyone would enjoy it.”
“Is Hyo Bin feeling better?” she asked curiously, looking up to see her sleeping sister in your arms.
“She’s doing better.” You said happily. “But she needs to take medicine. Her shot didn’t work and she got the flu.”
           “Oh…” Min Ja said softly.
Upon entering the house, you got Hyo Bin into bed and put the TV on for Min Ja before starting on dinner. Surprisingly, when you served the simple meal to your daughters, Hyo Bin was taking the food down without issue again. You were glad to see that she was eating, and hoping that it was a sign of her quick recovery.
The girls went to bed early that night, you gave them a quick bath and managed to read one story before the girls were out like a light. With a kiss to their foreheads and a firm tuck into bed, you headed into your room and threw on a pair of freshly cleaned pajamas.
“God, what a day…” you mumbled, curling up in bed and putting a pillow over your face. You tried to take solace in the idea that once Hyo Bin was feeling better, you would be getting yourself ready for another dinner date with Hoseok. That made you excited, and it made you motivated. Thoughts of that day helped you relax enough to fall asleep.
You had slept for about 3 hours, before the sound of feet rushing into your room startled you awake. Sitting up, you saw Min Ja standing at the end of your bed. Turning on the light, you saw Min Ja looked frantic, eyes wide.
“Min Ja? What’s wrong?!” You gasped.
“Hyo Bin is coughing super loud, Mommy…I think she’s throwing up.” Min Ja said. Almost immediately, you jumped up and hurried into the bedroom, the sound of your daughter gagging, coughing and sobbing just as she was the previous night. Upon entering the room, you saw Hyo Bin standing up in her bed, face pale as she was covering her mouth.
“Hyo Bin.” You hummed, scooping her up in your arms. She clung to you as you led her into the bathroom, giving her a toilet to continue any throwing up she had to do. You sighed, rubbing her back as you tried to calm her down. Min Ja was once again standing by the door, peeking her little head in as she watched her sister sob into your arms. “It’s okay, baby. It’s okay. Your tummy is just not ready to eat the food right now. It’s okay.” As Hyo Bin finally calmed down, her body shaking as she coughed, you let out a deep and frustrated groan.
The flu was a bastard of an illness, and you just wished you could take the burden of this pain from her, and get rid of it faster.

34- Don’t pretend that wasn’t on purpose...come here.
50- Finally alone
82- You’re so good at taking orders. I wonder what else you’re good at.
92- How do you expect me to focus when you’re practically begging for me to come over there and show you who you belong to??
Leggo!! (Screw you all who tell me to get rid of this, it’s staying and that’s that)
...
“Wow, thanks for saving me a seat guys.” You mumbled sarcastically. You stared at all your friends who had gathered around the living room. “So thoughtful.” you crossed your arms.
All the couches were taken up and no way in hell were you gonna sit on the floor. “OH well.” you walked around the couch to where Hoseok was sitting.
“Oh I’m sorry Y/N, I don’t think there will be room for me to move over.” Hoseok looked up at you.
“I didn’t say move over.” you shrugged, taking a seat right on his lap, you rested your legs across his lap, getting comfortable. “There, problem solved.” you shrugged. “Now pass me the spicy rice.”
“As you wish.” Hoseok chuckled.
Namjoon, Jimin, Seokjin, Yoongi, Jungkook and Taehyung all glared at Hoseok. Damn how did HE score someone like you? You had been everything anyone could ever want. Hoseok was one lucky man. If only Hoseok knew that you had been trying to grab his attention for the past four days. His oblivious attitude had really started getting on your nerves.
You casually relaxed in Hoseok’s lap, looking bored. He had been joking and laughing with the other’s and barley paying any sort for attention to you. The entire night consisted of you trying to grab his attention long enough for him to even look at you for more than 3 seconds.
So that meant it was time to demand it.
“Hey Hobi!” you put your hands on his shoulder. “I’m bored.”
“That’s nice.” he said quickly, still continuing his conversation. Okay, you’d had enough.
“Hey Taehyung!” You got up and hopped over to the singer. You sat on his lap, making sure Hoseok noticed. Taehyung looked surprised as you perch on his thigh. “You’re hair is sooo soft.” you giggled, running your hands through his lush hair. “I love to touch it.”
“Y/N?” he looked pretty confused. “What are you doing?” he chuckled.
“I can’t play with your hair?” You tilted your head to the side. “It’s so nice and shiny.” you wrapped your arms around his neck. “Like that cute face of yours.”
“Really? T-thanks.” he blushed a bright pink. You looked back at Hoseok and saw him with his eyebrows narrowed at you. You shrugged innocently. “You’re so adorable.” you kissed his cheek.
“Y/N...” you turned around and saw Hoseok with an eyebrow raised.
“Sup Hobi. Hey Yoongi, have I ever told you you had beautiful skin?”
Yoongi, who had been sitting next to Taehyung turned red.”Uh...no?”
“It’s....so cute.” you reached out your hand to caress his cheek. “I love to touch it.”
“Y/N.” Hoseok said lowly.
“What? I’m only stating the obvious.” you shrugged. “Can’t help being truthful.” You got comfy in Taehyung’s lap. “Taehyungie doesn’t mind, right?”
“N-no! Not at all!” he looked more confused over anything else. Your phone suddenly buzzed.
I don’t know what your doing but if you don’t stop, I’ll go crazy- Hoseok
You raised an eyebrow, staring down at your phone. With an eye roll, you replied.
It’s spelled “you’re”. Dimwit. Anyway’s I do what I want. Focus on yourself
Hoseok must have seen your reply because he shifted very uncomfortable in his seat.
How do you expect me to focus when you’re practically begging for me to come over there and show you who you belong too.- Hoseok
You didn’t reply, you only set your phone down, face down as you continued talking to Taehyung. This made him mad.
...
The boy left after finally decided the festivities were over. You stretched your hands over your head.
“Finally alone.” you yawned, stretching your arms over your head. “Well that was fun wasn’t it?” You smirked at a fuming Hoseok. “It’s great to see our friends every once in a while.”
“You wanna tell me what that was?” He looked mad. Good. Serves him right.
“Funny how when I get the attention of someone else, now you wanna pay attention to little ol’ me.” you playfully rolled your eyes. “How flattering Hobi.” you said. “But tell me, what’s wrong?”
“Don’t pretend what you did wasn’t on purpose...Come here.” he motioned you over with his fingers, making you walk across the floor, with your arms crossed.
“I never said it wasn’t on purpose. It very much was.” You stared up at Hoseok. “My question is what are you gonna do about it?”
“Hm, since you seem to be so good at taking orders, I wonder what else you’re good at.” He replied, wrapping his arms around your waist. “Come here.” he leaned down and kissed you. “You did a real silly thing.”
“Oh whatever.” you wrapped your arms around his neck. “About time you paid some attention to me.” you pouted.
“Oh so you did all this to get my attention?” he asked, hooking his arms around your legs to lift you up. You wrapped your legs around his torso, keeping yourself up.
“Yes, yes I did! How’d I do?” you stared up at him, biting your lip.
“Hm, wouldn’t you like to know.”
(So bad news fam, I have a cold. So I am on strict bed rest so I don’t know when I’ll be able to post consistently again but please don’t let that stop you from requesting. I’ll be fine in a few days but for now I’m just gonna be posting like out of nowhere.
I wanted to post something because I felt bad for being MIA for two days.)

Bts Reaction-Spending Time With Their Newborn Baby
Request: Could you do a bts reaction where he spending time with his newborn baby? Thank you so much 😊
Hii!!! This is so cute, I will have fun writing it...hopeyou enjoy it! I made it like short scenarios but they still contain some sort pf reaction(?
———
Kim Namjoon (RM)
Tumblr media
“I’m going to work”-you announced grabbing your apartment keys and opening the entrance door hurriedly-“Be safe!”
And with a final sound of the door clicking shut, Namjoom was finally alone with his little son. The tiny boy was wiggling his chubby hands in the air, giggling at something Namjoon could not quite comprehend yet.
Loved filled the young man’s eyes.
His baby was so healthy and beautiful he could cry with that single thought. He was so lucky and, even if they were just a few minutes he could spend with his baby, he would appreciate every second of all the moments he could share with his precious family.
“Do you want to hear a story?”-he asked while searching for the children’s book he had bought for these occasions. The baby giggled even louder and Namjoon supposed that he had been pleased with the idea-“Okay so let’s start with this one...”
Kim Seokjin (Jin)
Tumblr media
“Why won’t you love me?”
Seokjin threw himself dramatically on the couch, clasping his salmon shirt in horror. The baby plunged in various pillows let out a tiny screech filled with joy, clearly enjoying his father’s acting skills-“Now you’re laughing at me?”-he questioned while sitting up and facing his kid’s tiny bright smile-“I can’t believe this! Did Jungkook-ah raise you?”
The baby clapped and Jin gasped in shock. However, when his child did not stop giggling, he slid his hands around his fragile ribs and took him off into the air. The baby exploded with laughter once more as his father imitated a huge airplane flying through the vast ocean.
Jin loved when he could spend time with his child for they would be filled with a lot of fun and happiness.
Min Yoongi (Suga)
Tumblr media
“Don’t touch that, you will get hurt”
Yoongi had brought his newborn baby to his secret studio in order to look after him. You were extremely busy today so you had asked him if he could take care of his child for a while. Min Yoongi had to admit that he was a soft boy for you and your baby, consequently, he accepted.
The baby, currenly resting on his lap, scanned the entire room with his slanted eyes, forearms moving frantically to reach what interested him. Yoongi needed to control him or only god knew what could happen to his kid. There were too many harmful objects around the place, Yoongi had to be cautious-“If his my child, then...”
The man browsed through his playlist for a soft tune. Meanwhile, he turned off the brightest light and cuddled his baby even closer to him. When the song started playing, Yoongi begun rocking his child side to side, which eventually got him to relax.
However, when the melody ended not only the child was sleeping but his father too.
Jung Hoseok (J-Hope)
Tumblr media
Hoseok would do anything to please his daughter, even though she couldn’t actually ask for anything yet.
“Hobi, is Y/D/N sleeping?”-you asked. Your arm rested on top of the cold threshold of your baby’s room. Hoseok, who was still wearing the clothes he had used for his dance practice, was holding your drowsy daughter as his own body felt the rythm blasting through the stereo located inside a wooden wardrobe.
He seemed happy beyond explanation. Your kid was his entire world, and he would make her joyful although his time with her wasn’t the most extended.
“I think she is”
Park Jimin (Jimin)
Tumblr media
“Why are you so cute?”
Jimin would jumped in delight as you emerged from the hallway and into the room the members had been located in. A green blanket was hanging down your forearm, a small head popping out from the plush mattress. As soon as the baby recognized his surroundings, he quickly devised Jimin standing in front of him. With a small peck on your lips, he tucked his son further to him and then proceeded to walk toward his members.
“Isn’t he beautiful?”
Kim Taehyung (V)
Tumblr media
“Ah~we definitely are buying that one!”
As he changed his baby’s clothes, Taehyung made silly noises and weird faces to make his kid laugh. He had to admit that his baby got a little fussy whenever he changed him countless times. Maybe it was because his kid’s head was still sensible or for the fact that the pieces of cloth had sparkles and some details that may have harmed his baby’s pale body, but Taehyung could not help himself. His baby was beyond stunning and he loved how his kid modeled with perfection every piece he chose (Gucci).
Besides, Taehyung would be the kind of father to spoil his kid senseless. He has a soft spot for kids but your kid was his devilish weakness.
Jeon Jungkook (Jungkook)
Tumblr media
When you claimed needing some junk food in your system in order to continue the movie, Jungkook had offer to go and buy them for you. Nevertheless, you told him you prefered him to stay with the baby while she was outside. He would not argue with you for such thing, so he agreed.
The time you spent inside the store, he took advantage of it and popped a video game on the television screen. His baby, who had been on his lap the whole time, had been entranced with the bright colours and moving characters. Jungkook smile down at him, being content with his kid’s early choice of hobby. The music blasted through the expensive speakers at the side of the screen, and the kid giggled in surprise. Afterwards, the child attempted to snatch the controller from Jungkook’s hand but he dodged it with ease. The baby did not give up and started fighting playfully with his father.
Jungkook loved how similar he was with his baby because it would make the time he spent with his kid even more delightful.

Possible Love Triangle? Vamp!Jimin x Reader X J-hope
Chapter one: Who’s That?
Tumblr media
@yourarmynoona @fyk-popparadise @cherrrrbbb @toplover12 @jennygisselle @breeeeh17 #depressiontx #littytitty #GroupChat #KakaoTalk
Work count: 1694                                                                                                     rating: Mature
Chapter 1:
A/N: This is a dedication to my SA BTS group chat #H4B I love my girls.
"Hobi! HOBBBIIIIII!!!!" You screamed but he still laid in bed asleep and you were getting annoyed so you had to try something else. "JHOOPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" You jumped on his bed then landed on him and finally he woke up with a 'ofph.'
"(y/n) what is wrong with you? That hurt." Hoseok cried out while wrapping his arms around my waist. You blushed at him. "Hobi what are you doing?" You try to move out of his arms but he wouldn't release you. "Just stay still for a little bit longer please." He whispered while cuddling into your back. You grumbled in protest. "Okay but just for 2 minutes."
After a good 4 minutes he let me go and went into the bathroom while you went to the kitchen and start making some Korean style breakfast. You whistled to one of his mixtape songs called 'daydream' while getting the kimchi from the fridge and put it on the table, you put the other side dishes on the table.
You were so busy with setting the table you didn't realize Hoseok entered the room. "Looks great." Hoseok said behind you making you jump in surprise. "Hobi you scared me." You hit his arm playful. "Your breakfast is ready your highness." You playful bowed holding in your giggle. "Don't call me that silly goose." You stood back up. "Alright fine." You said sitting across from him and started eating. "This is so good (Y/N)!" Hoseok hummed happily eating a spoonful of kimchi with rice. You could help but smile you and Hobi had been best friends since 1st grade. He has always been by your side through thick and thin.
You couldn't help but smile when you saw a piece of rice on the side of Hoseok's mouth. Leaning over and wiping it off with the napkin. When you look up Hoseok was making eye contact with you which made you blush. "Sorry it's a habitat because of my baby brother." You said in reference to your 6 year old brother. "It's alright, princess." He smirked kissing your hand. "I told you not to call me that Hobi." You moved your hand away and started eating again. "Why not, I love seeing you blush." You choked on some rice. "Oppa, you play too much." You drink some water to wash down the food.
"What would you like to do today?" Hoseok chimed picking up his dirty dishes to put in the sink and starting washing them. "Ummmm why not the movies? Or the mall?" I suggested. He looked up in thought then lit up like a Christmas tree. Uh oh.... "Why not the ice skating rink?" He smiled drying his hands and getting your dirty dishes. "But Hobi you know I am not good at skating." You whined. "Lies! You won so many medals." He boast. "That was only four medals. I got injured and that ruined it." You told him again for the thousandth time rolling your eyes.
"Oh come onnnnnn." He begged. "I want to see you skating, pleaassseeeee~" He said doing his aegyo. You couldn't resist so you had to give in and say yes. "Go get ready Hobi." In which he got excited and rushed to his room to get changed.
Thank god the ice skating rink wasn't that far from your house at all. You quickly parked your car in the shade since it was a 82 degree day. Hoseok got out quickly and ran over to my door to open it before you could. "Thanks Oppa." You got out and walked with him to the door which slide open, leading to the cash register where we buy our tickets.
"Welcome back Hobi oppa and (Y/N) noona." The lady at the counter. "Jennie!!~ Oh I missed you so much." She came from behind the counter to hug me. "Noona where have you been I missed you. And watching you skate." She smiled looking up at me. She was only 18 but for her age she was quite short. You were 23 and around 5"5 and Hoseok was 24 and around 5"10. "Anyways let's get you some skates Hobi and (Y/N) I have your special ones in the back. "Don't worry about paying, this one is one the house." She hands us two tickets to put on our legs so we can access the rink. "Thank you Jenny." You hugged her tightly and smiled getting your skate and heading to the benches to put them on.
Hoseok joined you and stood by the opening. Taking a deep breath you stepped onto the ice and moved towards the side. Hoseok skated to the middle happily. There wasn't anyone else there since it was really early in the morning. Deciding to test out hope good you still are you pushed off the wall and skated forward and turned around and did a axel jump. Hoseok cheered happily clapping. "Whoooopppp!!" You blushed at him and bowed then skated to him. You accidentally hit a small line from a skate and fell into Hoseok's arms.
Once you collected yourself you looked up and Hoseok was looking at you which causes your face to turn red. Hoseok smiled and picked you up. "Careful," Then he did a dramatic pause before continuing. "Don't fall too hard." You stood up and skated away from the flirtatious Hoseok. "What? Too much?" He chuckled moving towards you but it was no use you were too fast and skated towards the other end of the rink. You both were having so much fun but it was short lived because people started flooding into the rink and soon the place was too crowded for your liking. It's not super crowd but you like your space when it comes to skating.
"Hobi let's go please." You started moving towards the exit. "Too crowded?" He asked and you nod, he signed and skated to the exit as well. You both take off your skates and return them to Jennie. "Got too crowded?" She asked, Jennie has always been a close friend, we went to the same school and she was a transfer from America so she didn't have any friends. "Yeah sorry love." She smiled at me waving me off. "It's alright noona I know how you feel." You smiled back at her. "Do you want to join us when you go on your lunch break?" You asked and she nods excitedly. "Definitely! Do you want go to Insadong Geu Jib? They have great food. "Yeah we can go there."
Hoseok gives a thumbs up and says goodbye as we leave to your car. Once in you drive off back to Hoseok's place to play some video games before Jennie's lunch break. We were playing an intense game of COD warfare which you won about 3 times so Hoseok gave up and went up the his room to use the bathroom. You laid on the couch and checked your social media. Nothing interesting as usual.
Jennie texted you saying she's about to head on her break so you shouted for Hoseok to get his ass downstairs and let's go. After about 10 minutes we get there and find Jennie at a table close by the window. "Is it alright that I already ordered your food?" Both of us nodded at her since she probably ordered jajangmyeon. Our order came out 5 minutes later, we told the waitress thank you and began to eat our meals.
As we all ate we heard a big commotion outside and you see girls everywhere by the front door so we all looked up to see a guy walk in and all the girls going crazy over him almost killing themselves to take a picture of his beautiful physic. You made eye contact with the guy. "Who's that?" You asked Jennie as the tall mysterious male walked passed our table and into the back counter where someone else was waiting. "His name is Park Jimin, no one knows much about him because he mostly indoors." Then she leaned closer to you and whispered. "Some girls like to say he is a vampire." You made an 'Oh' shape with your mouth.
"(Y/N) you have some sauce on your face." Hoseok started cleaning off your mouth but you took it out of his hand and started cleaning it yourself. "Sorry got distracted." You blushed and turned to Jennie. "How long do you have till you have to go back to work?" She looked at her watch. "I have 5 minutes before I have to walk back." She said finishing her jajangmyeon. "We can drop you off at the door to give you more time." You suggested. "Yeah that'd be great thanks." You noticed Hoseok has been quiet since that guy came in, you wonder if he knew him or if he was jealous. The thing is Hoseok isn't the jealous type so you don't think that's what it is.
After dropping Jennie off at work and you started driving again you looked towards Hoseok for a few seconds then put your attention back on driving. "Hobi~ What's wrong?" You asked glancing at him. "What do you mean (Y/N)?" He asked playing dumb. "Seriously please tell me. What's the problem? You were being so quiet." You kept egging him on so he'd answer your question but you realize he was getting mad but he won't lash out at you so let's just leave it at that. Finally arriving at his house. "Sorry about earlier Hoseok, I shouldn't have angried you." You decided to apologise. "It's alright princess, get some rest I have to start working on my next song tonight." He said leaving the car. A little bit upset you drive home.
