i’m a new formula one this year what is lestappengate?

Lestappen Gate is a conspiracy theory that happened during the 2023 triple header (COTA, Mexico, Brazil) mainly peddled by myself, @tsarinablogs and @thearchercore which concerned the fact that Max and Charles became publicly very close during that time period when Charles’ contract negotiations were still in the air and Red Bull were known to be pursuing him. Basically, it’s a Charles to RBR theory, but with extra steps. If you go through the #Lestappen Gate 2023 on my blog or just the general tag on tumblr you’ll see the full delusion. So Lestappen Gate 2024 is the resurrection of Lestappen Gate (ironically, also when we’re in the middle of a triple header).

I know triple headers are unbelievably hard on the teams and their personnel... but I can't help but think that if triple headers always give us this kind of deranged Lestappen content, I only want triple headers. Nothing else. We are treated so well.
