What they drop in the shape of leaves is soon to be reabsorbed and reassimilated as nutrient as the seasons pass. If you wish to continue to grow when your surroundings get harsh, go inwards. There’s something to be hold about nature and its beauty. I always find myself more at peace when I surrender to its teachings. - This beauty captivated me on Cabbage Beach, Nassau, Bahamas. I thought to myself at first gaze, why would this luscious green leaves bloom here on these dry cracked roots of a middy tree? Why am I drawn to it? So many questions while I start looking like a weird woman on a beach starring at this debris, creeping thoughts I imagined by most bystanders — As I continue to stare other thoughts started to form — I saw bravery I saw confidence I saw strength I saw the lessons I saw a reminder that it’s okay to stand out It’s perfectly fine to bloom your way To bloom alone It’s okay to be different, different is beautiful — As beings, we often have this urge to understand everything or box things for them to make sense rapidly.
