Hear me out: no one on god's green earth has ever overcompensated for her undiagnosed ADHD as hard as Leslie Knope. The aggressive systems of color-coded binders are a coping mechanism. She hyperfixates on the new Problem/Topic of the Week like it's her job (it usually is but sometimes definitely is not). The rejection-sensitive dysphoria she gets every time someone vaguely does not like her? Plot of multiple entire episodes. High energy with occasional DRAMATIC crashes. Definitely impulsive. The entire inciting incident of the show is "I have never heard of this problem (the pit) before, but I suddenly have an exciting idea related to my hyperfixation (build a park), and I will immediately commit myself to doing so." Hello?????
