And you both were trying to get pregnant for a few months before you actually fell pregnant. You kept it between the two of you for the first two months, just enjoying having a little secret, as you could just share the excitement like you were in your own little bubble. You started to tell people when the scan was healthy, everyone was so excited for you both. Everyone commented at how much you glowed. Leroy was so supported always making sure you were comfortable, he woke up at stupid o clock and brought you food that you were craving, giving you back and feet massages when you were aching. He held you at night when you woke up after a horrible nightmare and comforted you when you cried about something stupid. When he had days off he was decorating the nursery, and making the crib and putting a lot of City things inside it.

When you were in labour he was right by your side encouraging you to keep pushing as you cried and become exhaust. After a couple of hours of mixed emotions your baby was born, the midwife handed your little bundle to Leroy as he sat on the bed beside you as you both gushed at how beautiful they were. Realising how perfect they were, taking in their features what they got from each of you. Leroy kissed you telling you how proud he is of you, as you both cried at your little family.

You suddenly heard something smash in the next room along with Leroy swear in German, you jumped up and rushed into the kitchen where you found him stood with his crutches with everything smashed around him. Your gaze goes up and see tears fill his eyes which you start panicking that he is hurt, you step over the mess and hold onto him. ‘Are you hurt?’ You ask shakily. He shook as he began to silently cry, he wrapped his arms around your waist as he rested his head on your shoulder, you started to play with his curls as he had a meltdown. ‘Baby, it’s alright. I didn’t like the plates anyway’ you joked. You pulled away from him and held onto his face. ‘I can’t fucking do anything, I can’t walk, I can’t do anything myself’ he huffed. Your heart broke for him, you knew that this injury was going to be tough for him. ‘Hey I’ve got you, you’re not doing this alone and I promise you that you will get through this, you’ll get back on the pitch and you’ll be stronger than ever’ you smiled softly at him.
