Since I got this.... hehehe I'll be writing a sequel now.
The villain strikes again! With backup...
King of the court or any sort of nickname doesn't bother him like it used to. Tobio Kageyama finds it rather a nonchalant aspect in his daily volleyball routine.
His passion to make it arouse this sense of happiness brought him to a rather obnoxious orange little guy who would annoy him to dust.
Now he just needs to set to him to they both are satisfied.
"You better concentrate, Kageyama... or the captain has something planned for you," Hinata's words brought a chill down his spine, recollecting the dares they've been doing, but specifically the captain permitting for round two.
Wearily, he began to set as many as he could to all the spikers.
None of them had forgotten Tsukishima's attack on him. Many looked like they were anticipating him to make a mistake to get his punishment.
Oh, that won't happen, never... he can't relive that again... nuh uh
He shivered now, taking a break by drinking some water. Kageyama's vision was clouded from exhaustion, particularly because he overdid his training, unlike the others... part of that was to be blamed on Tsukishima for tickling him to death.
He leaned back, now feeling his sweat beginning to bead.
"Kageyama~, you shouldn't let your guard down!" It was a sneaky voice from Nishinoya who had snuck up behind him fingers itching to get him. He straightened up and glared at the upperclassmen "Oi, Noya-san you can't do anything to me yet... its still practice..."
"Someone's dying for a play fight." Tanaka and Noya duo laughed at that, and this earned a blush, to be completely honest... he didn't mind, but he also dreaded the fact that this was against all of them and himself.
He hopes Daichi has some sort of empathy towards him... to stop them.
How was he wrong? Because he ended up digging his grave.
Constant pressure in mind made him give Hinata a set too high. In the end, the ball plopped down on the court with a silent echoing tone in depth. Reminding something sinister.
He heard cracking of knuckles and it was to his pure horror, Daichi, then the other responsible senpai-tachi (plural of senpais). They all had the looks of 'we'll teach a slow and painful lesson' and that was something terrifying.
In the end, he was at the receiving end, where Tanaka and Noya each grabbed a knee, squeezing them with pure merciless desires. Then Hinata is impatient to get the sweet death spot on his ribs. Ennoshita and Sugawara had the audacity to tease his ears and neck.
They were all on him, except Tsukishima (thankfully for Kageyama), Yameguchi, the managers and Daichi.
"Man messing with you is so fun!" Tanaka laughed getting the sensitive part of his calf muscles. This was bad... really bad, thought Kageyama, not only were they destroying they were teasing him like crazy... he wanted to crawl into a rock right this instant!
His cheeks were blossoming a colour of pink, almost from embarrassment. His giggles reached several octaves now. "Gahahaha nohoho Ihihihihi hahaha hate thihihis!"
Tsukishkma clicked his tongue "Ah... I can't watch, your doing it wrong..."
"Huh -whoa!" Hinata yelped when he was pushed to the side, the tall guy was now giving directions... Kageyama gawked with horror "Thehehehe hehehell yohohohou agahahahain scrahahahahwny bahahastard?"
"I wouldn't use that tone king, I'm really motivated unlike last time"
Last time he wasn't? Kageyama wanted to argue but a new painfully ticklish sensation passed through his nerves, he just felt like a wave of electric current pass down his limbs now curling as he freed his arms.
"I recently discovered the ribs also have a new switch... the bottom ribs give him an extra sensitivity... try it Hinata"
He was gladly gone but only with passing down his knowledge to his successor in overthrowing the king.
"AHAHAHA NOHOHO! AHAHAHAHAHA MEHEHEHERCY PLEHEHEHEASE! IHIHIHI GIVE! BOHOHOKE!
"Wow, you weren't lying... he got way louder than before..." it seems Daichi sees the limit in Kageyama and grabs the orange haired kid away from him."He pouted. "Aw I wasn't finished"
"Well... I suppose he needed a laugh or two... but i think it's a bit unfair to let him take the torment" Daichi said as he turned to Sugawara who was uneasy "W-why are you looking at me?"
Another tickle war broke and Kageyama could just stay away with his breath easing up to a normal pace. Tanaka was attacking Noya, Hinata enjoyed tormenting Yameguchi along with Tsukishima giving advice. Sugawara's childlike laughter was the spotlight while Ennoshita helped...
This was something no one could stop. Kageyama smiled...

I Do Adore (Ler!Sugawara, Lee!Reader)
Prompt: “could I request ler!sugawara and lee!reader?”
hey y’all! I know it’s been a bit since I’ve written anything but I’ve been getting back into it! This is a fic I’ve been wanting to write for a while and it’s a bit self indulgent but, I think it turned out okay. Hope you enjoy!
Warnings: small panic, not full blown; this is a tickle fic!
word count: 1.7k
~~~~
It had already been a month into your relationship with Suga, the mother crow setter of the Karasuno volleyball team. You had started going to their matches with a friend who was crushing on Ennoshita, but found yourself drawn to another member of the team before long.
He became accustomed to seeing you in the stands after a while, eventually going up to visit you when he saw a handmade sign with badly cropped photos of him that you had pawned off of Tanaka and Noya (best wingmen ever).
The two of you became fast friends and started dating soon after, enjoying the comfort and light of each other’s company. Today you two had scheduled a study date to catch up on the school he had missed because of volleyball tournaments. You also had a load of homework due to devoting your weekends to cheering him on. So you two decided to meet at your house, sitting against the couch with the coffee table pulled up. Papers were strewn across the table and floor, Suga chugging away at some math while you did your language arts.
“Hey, Suga, could you help me with this sentence here? It just doesn’t sound right to me,” you muttered, putting a hand to your chin and leaning back against the couch. He looked up from his textbook and grabbed onto the laptop you pushed his way, pulling it onto his lap. He swiped across the screen to clear some dust, humming as he pulled up the page. A slight smile graced his features as his eyes scanned the screen, reaching down to make edits every so often, his long fingers gliding across the keyboard. As he reached the end, he let out a huff of laughter and cooed. “Awh, that was really cute, (Y/N)! I made a few small grammar edits, but it was really well written, I couldn’t find the sentence you were talking about,” he looked back up at you and scratched the back of his neck.
Cute???? Your essay on the War of 1812 was cute? He must be messing with you, he-
Oh no.
Oh no, oh no, oh no!
You snatched your laptop back from him in a flash, only to find the draft of one of your fic WIPs pulled up. One of your tickle fics, you might add. You had been a writer in the community for a while now, but you kept this part of your life private. It made you feel loved, safe, and happy ever since you could remember. This little quirk of yours led to many friendships, relieved that others felt the same way that you did about the playful affection. Your passion for writing mixed with your love of tickles and you started to write for your favorite fandoms. But this wasn’t something even your closest friends knew about, let alone your boyfriend.
A furious blush ran up your neck and you hugged your laptop close to your chest, both embarrassed and afraid. He wasn’t supposed to find out like this. Suga’s expression morphed from light to concerned, placing a questioning hand on your shoulder.
“Hey, is everything okay?” he asked gingerly, stroking up and down your arm. The gentle touch pulled you out of your head and your eyes flitted to his own warm and inviting ones. You sighed and put your laptop on the coffee table, letting your head fall against the couch as you curled in on yourself, arms wrapping around your shoulders. “Well, you weren’t really meant to see that,” you admitted under your breath. But this was Suga, and he wouldn’t make you feel bad or embarrassed for something so obviously important to you.
You took his hand in yours and held it in your lap, “I write a lot, you know that.” He nodded and squeezed your hand, prodding you to continue. “So, uh-, I-I,” you stammered, not knowing how to continue. “Sorry, it’s just really difficult to explain it, I haven’t really had the chance to before now,” you said quietly, feeling a bit better now that you had calmed down.
Suga hummed, nodding in understanding. “Well, maybe I can help? For what it’s worth, I thought that your story was adorable and I think I might know what’s going on in that beautiful mind of yours.” He tapped your nose affectionately, and moved it down to your side. “Now, I may be wrong, but do you like tickles, (Y/N)?”
Your eyes went wide and you looked up at him, a blush creeping up your face. “How did you-”
He rubbed up and down your side gently once his suspicions were confirmed. “I have good intuition,” he winked, “but also, the character in your story did too.” You recounted the most recent of your works and shrinked in on yourself because he was right. You managed to look him in the eyes, confidence swelling in your heart. “You don’t think it’s weird?”
His eyes softened, squeezing the hand he held in your lap. “Of course not, it matters to you, and for the record I think its absolutely adorable,” he took a pause to squeeze lightly at your side, making you jolt into him with a squeak. “Plus, it's fun, so I see where you're coming from. You know, you are sitting with the resident tickle monster of the Karasuno volleyball team,” he crowed, the familiar mischievous glint in his eyes matching his playful fingers that were now drumming on your sides. You buried your face in his shoulder, a wobbly smile on your lips and blood rushing to your cheeks. “Suhuga…”
“Hmm? What is it?” He leaned his cheek on the top of your head and began tapping his fingertips up to your ribs, but not with enough pressure to tickle. “You knohow! Stop being mean!” You whined, poking him in the ribs. Suga yelped and his brows furrowed, a playful grin flashing at you. “Ohoho, you’re getting it now, (Y/N),” He lifted under your thighs and pushed you up so you were sitting on the couch before he tackled you, trapping your head with his hands on either side. Suga scanned your face for any indication to stop, but your smiling eyes and held back giggles ensured him that you were more than fine. Fingers scuttled at your lowest ribs, making you squirm into his hands at either side. Shimmying your hips from left to right made him laugh, “You’re dancing! Show me another move!” He laughed, traveling upwards and digging into the spaces between the bones. Bright peals of laughter spilled out as you clamped your arms down to your sides, balling your hands up in light fists that rested on your chest.
“Wahahaihait, SugahAHAHAH-” You squealed as he got to your highest ribs, using his thumbs to dig in and the rest of his fingers to scribble at your shoulderblades. “Hmm? Dihid I find a bad spot?” He snickered at your reaction and wormed his hands into your armpits, making you buck wildly from under him. “Aw, (Y/N)! You trapped my hands, can you lift your arms up?” The teasing lilt in his voice and the quirk of his eyebrows made you giggle nervously as he slowed his fingers to a stop, his fingers still twitching ever so slightly. You could feel your face heat up as you reluctantly lifted your arms above your head, gripping the arm of the couch. “Aw, how considerate, thank you,” he leaned down to pepper your blushing cheeks in kitten kisses, making you squeak and melt at the puppy love. “Mhmhmhm! Youhou’re wehehelcohohome,” you replied, bringing your hands up to rest on his shoulders instead. He giggled into your cheek as light fingers resumed their attack on your armpits, quick and soft pinches to the centers leaving you in stitches. You squealed and shook your head, “Ihi wahahaAhAs sOHoho nIHIhice and this ihis the tHahAnks I gehet?”
Suga laughed as he moved his goosing further down to your sides, relishing in the happy laughter next to his ear. “You are absolutely precious, you know that? Look at you! You’re squirming right into my hands, you really do enjoy this, don’t you?” He nuzzled into your neck, humming as he spidered both his hands over your tummy in quick succession. “NahahOahOho! ShUhUhut uhUhUHUP!” You cried out and sucked in your tummy, his blunt nails scratching just under your button and that one horrible spot where your sides meet your stomach. He gasped and came out of your neck to look at you with an incredulous pout, “Oh, (Y/N), if you thought I was mean before, you haven’t seen anything yet!”
He dove back into your neck, starting to gently nibble at the skin, scraping his teeth alone the crook where your shoulder connected making you let out a flurry of squeals and “nonononono!”. Your hands fisted in his shirt, desperately trying to ground yourself in the soft fabric while he moved from your tummy to your hips. At first, his light scratching around the bones wasn’t that bad, but as he chuckled evilly into your shoulder and started to dig circles just under your pantline, you floudered like a fish out of water. “WAIHAIT PLEAHEHASE NAHAHT THEHEHERE!” He laughed at your reactions, opting to squeeze the tops of your thighs and worm his fingers into the crevice where your torso ended and your legs began. You buried your face in his shoulder, trying to muffle the cackles that erupted from your lungs. “PLEeAHAH- IHIHI CAHAHAN’T!”
Suga calmed his fingers to light traces around your tummy, giving you one last ticklish kiss to your neck and kissing your nose. “Sorry if I went a little overboard, gigglebug, you were just so cute,” he whispered fondly from on top of you.
As you came down from your tickle high you melted into the hand that came up to cup your cheek, small huffs of laughter creeping out from the hand that was lazily exploring your adorable tum. “Ihit’s okay, Sugar. That was fun, thank you,” you mumbled, a giddy smile on your lips as he peppered light pecks along your forehead and cheeks, continuing onto your shoulders which made you squeak.
“I’m so glad you shared this with me, (Y/N). Anytime you need a little pick me up, I’ll be happy to indulge you.” He moved to your side, scooping an arm under you and wrapped he other one around your back, making you feel safe and secure in his arms. He touched his forehead lightly to yours and you two drifted off into a sweet slumber.
Haikyuu!! Sentence Starters #1-10
A collection of the Haikyuu sentence starters I've done, compiled for the sake of ease. These are all stand-alone stories.
~~~
1) Lee Noya, Ler Hinata
“Not such a tough little libero now, huh?”
The tease slipped out of Hinata’s mouth with ease as he grinned down at his friend, who was curled up in a giggling ball on the floor.
“S-Shuhuhuhut up, Hinata!” Noya protested, his face bright pink as he tried to hold back the flood that threatened to burst at any moment.
“I think you’re even more ticklish than me, Noya, and that’s saying something!” Hinata giggled along with his upperclassman, easily able to keep up with his squirmy movements. This was way easier than trying to tickle Kageyama. At least in this situation, he had a whole inch of height to his advantage!
Noya squealed and arched his back when the redhead found his lower ribs, crawling up from his sides. “N-Nohohohoho, nononono – Hinata, stahahahahap!”
Hinata beamed. “Why? I like seeing you smile and laugh like this!”
“T-Tickles – it f-frihihihihihicking tickles, Hinatahahahahaha!”
“Oh, really?” Hinata started dragging his fingers up and down the libero’s ribs, thrilled when Noya couldn’t hold back anymore and started squealing with high-pitched laughter. “I would never have guessed.”
“Hinata!” Noya managed before giving up the fight and laying back to take it, shockwave after shockwave of ticklish sensations lighting up his nervous system and making him laugh and squirm involuntarily. But – if he was honest with himself – he really didn’t mind the distraction.
*
2) Lee Noya, Ler Kageyama
“What’s wrong?” Kageyama smirked, holding Noya’s feet in his lap and trailing his fingers lazily up and down the soles. “I thought touch was your love language.”
Noya blushed furiously. “Y-Yeah, but not that kind of touch. Jeez…”
Kageyama replied by scratching his fingernail in the center of the libero’s left sole. “No? Really?”
“S-Stohohohop,” Noya giggled, covering his face with his hands and tugging at his feet half-heartedly.
In the spirit of keeping up the playfulness, Kageyama wrapped one arm around both of Noya’s ankles and held him tighter, scribbling his free hand over both feet at once.
Noya bucked his hips and tried to roll over but quickly wound up on his back again, too weak with laughter to do anything more than protest. “Nohohohohohoho!”
“I don’t know, Yuu, you do seem to be loving this just as much as if I were kissing you.”
“I ahahahahahaham not!”
“You are.” Kageyama grabbed his toes and dug in fiercely. “You should be punished for lying to my face like that.”
Noya tossed his head back and finally started laughing, gripping his stomach as if it would save him somehow. Through screechy giggles he pleaded, “Stohohohohohohop, that s-seheheheheriously tihihihihickles, Kageyama!”
The setter merely chuckled. “I know it does.”
*
3) Lee Hinata, Ler Suga
“No, I’m not giggling!”
Suga grinned. “You sure? It sounds like you are.”
“Well, I’m not!” Hinata insisted indignantly, trying desperately to reach the beetle that was crawling on his lower back, exactly where he couldn’t reach it. Another chuckle escaped him, making him blush. “Get it off of me, Suga! Why are you just standing there?”
“Because it’s cute that a bug is tickling you and you’re giggling,” Suga replied, taking out his phone. “I’ve got to show the guys.”
“H-Hey! Wait!” Hinata whirled to stop him, but his sudden movement caused the beetle to skitter a little further up his back, even more where he couldn’t reach it, and he arched his body and definitely, absolutely giggled. “S-Stohohop! Get it off of mehehehe!”
Suga laughed, holding his phone steady for the sake of his video. “Oh my god, just when I thought you couldn’t get any more fun to be around, Hinata. You’re getting tickled by a beetle.”
“Shut up, Suga!” Hinata felt the heat of his embarrassment on his cheeks, pouting as he crossed his arms, struggling to stay still as the bug crawled up towards his shoulder blades. “P-Please just get it off. Please?”
“All right, all right.” Suga stopped his recording, pocketed his phone, and went to shoo the beetle away. It flew off, unbothered, having no idea the cute scene it had just caused. “There. It’s gone.”
“You’re so mean. Are you really going to show that video?”
“Of course I am.” The silver-haired setter smirked, scribbling his fingers up and down Hinata’s spine quickly, making the redhead shriek and jolt away from him. “How can I resist?”
*
4) Lee Daichi, Ler Suga
“I told you, you didn’t have to try that,” Suga said in exasperation. “Now your arms are all red.”
“But Noya made it look so cool; I wanted to give it a go.” Daichi gave him a look. “You can’t seriously tell me you’ve never wanted to do rolling thunder before.”
Suga pressed his lips together. “Well, since you didn’t want to hear my warning, you’ll have to learn a lesson for not listening to me.”
“Isn’t nearly breaking my arms enough of a lesson learned?” The captain retorted, eyes widening when he saw wiggling fingers approaching him. He took a step back. “Suga, you wouldn’t.”
“I would.”
The setter lunged after his friend, and the two ran around the gym together, sprinting at top speeds to try and catch up to and evade each other. Eventually Suga tricked Daichi into going around the net while he ducked under it, and that finally closed the gap between them.
“No, nohohohoho, wait!” Daichi burst into giggles the instant the silver-haired setter grabbed his sides. “Dohohohohon’t do thahahahat!”
“You deserve it,” Suga shot back, grinning, “for failing to heed my oh-so-sage advice, captain. If you really want to learn rolling thunder, I’m sure Noya would be willing to teach you.”
“G-Gehehehet – get ohohohohoff! Suga!” Daichi twisted and writhed in the setter’s surprisingly strong grip, but he wasn’t going anywhere. “Stohohohohohop!”
Suga only held him closer. “Nope. This is what you get.”
*
5) Lee Daichi, Ler Ennoshita
“Leave me be!” Daichi snapped, turning his back and striding away.
Ennoshita blinked, surprised. He’d been watching the captain a lot more as of late, knowing his fellow second-years were looking to make him Daichi’s replacement once he graduated. He’d of course noticed how hard his upperclassman worked to remain a levelheaded, fair leader to the team – something he wished to do as well. But in the midst of his observations he’d also noticed that Daichi worked himself almost too hard trying to be the perfect example, and when he’d decided to suggest that he take it easy, “leave me be!” was the response he got.
“You don’t have to be a jerk about it,” he muttered. “I’m just trying to help.”
Daichi paused, then let out a sigh and looked back at him. “You’re right. I’m sorry, Ennoshita.”
The second-year smiled and put a hand on his captain’s shoulder. “It’s all right. I know you’re stressed. But that’s exactly why you should take it easy.” Then, inspired by something he’d seen Hinata doing quite a lot lately, he reached out to grab Daichi’s side and squeeze. “To start, you could smile a little more, you know?”
“Ah! W-Whahahahahahat?” Daichi sputtered, helpless against the wide smile that took over his features. He tried to squirm away, but Ennoshita gripped his shoulder even tighter.
“There you go, just like that! Next, you can laugh.” The younger boy grabbed both of his sides then, digging in deep, and Daichi shrieked before doubling over, loud giggles pouring from his mouth.
“Ennoshihihihihihita!”
“That’s my name,” Ennoshita confirmed, grinning, and kept tickling his upperclassman.
*
6) Lee Hinata, Ler Tanaka
“Come on! I see that smile! Give me the smile!”
“Stohohohohohohop! Tanakahahahahahaha!” Hinata squealed, trying his best to double over and fall to the floor. Tanaka wasn’t having it, holding onto him firmly with one arm and digging into his side with the other.
“Come on, Hinata! Stop being so mopey. We all know you’re sad and depressed because Kageyama’s sick today—”
“I’m nohohohohoohohot sahahahahad and deprehehehessed!” Hinata protested, his cheeks flaming red as tomatoes at the callout.
“—but don’t you think he’d want you to be happy and smiling with us instead of pouting all day?”
“I’m nohohohohohohot pouting!”
“Well, not anymore, you’re not!” Tanaka grinned devilishly, scribbling up to Hinata’s underarm. “Tickle, tickle, little lovebird~”
“Stahahahahahahahap!”
“Daichi!” Tanaka turned his head to his upperclassman. “You getting this?”
“Already done,” replied the captain, storing his phone away.
And Kageyama – sick in bed – opened up the video sent to him via text message and smiled, seeing his boyfriend giggling hysterically and already feeling leagues better for it.
*
7) Lee Yamaguchi, Ler Tsukishima
“Stop laughing, this is serious!”
Tsukishima’s harsh words only made Yamaguchi laugh even harder, gripping his stomach as he doubled over. “I-I cahahahahan’t hehelp it…t-thehehehehehey’re r-right – pfffhahahahaha!”
Tsukki growled in irritation. He could barely see Tadashi, having lost his sports glasses and his normal ones stowed away in his duffel bag. “They’re right where? If you see them then tell me where they are! I’m getting impatient.”
Yamaguchi finally regained enough breath to manage, “T-They’re…right there, Tsukki. Around your neck. They just fell, that’s all.”
Blinking, Tsukki looked down and felt around his neck for his spectacles, and sure enough, that’s exactly what had happened. He let out a sigh and put them back on, adjusting them so he could see his friend’s face, pink from laughing and with a wide smile still in place.
“You think this is funny?” Tsukki sauntered up to him. “I’ll give you something to laugh about.”
“Huh? W-Wait!” Tadashi tried getting away, but his blonde friend was taller and stronger and way more intimidating, and it wasn’t long at all before he felt fingers in his ribs, tickling deeply, precisely, drawing out unintentional giggles and squeaks. “Nohohohohoho! I’m sohohohohorry – plehehehehehehease! Tsukkiehehehehehehehe!”
*
8) Lee Tanaka, Ler Daichi
“Dude, you’re way too soft on them,” Daichi said, shaking his head as he watched their two wild first-years sprint out of the gym, no doubt racing to the lockers as though their lives depended on it.
Tanaka shrugged. “Eh, so they’re a little nuts. So was I, when I first started. You were easy on me then.”
“I wasn’t the captain then.”
“And I’m not their captain now. Hopefully ever, dear god.” Tanaka laughed, clapping Daichi on the shoulder. “Relax, dude, they’ll turn out fine. I did, didn’t I?”
Daichi looked at him, and his expression softened. “Yeah, I suppose you did. Still…” He reached for his underclassman’s sides, digging in deep and enjoying the surprised yell he got in return. “I think you could use a lesson yourself, knucklehead.”
“Ack! N-No, ha-hahahahang on a second, I d-dohohon’t need – god, Daichi! Stahahahahap!” Tanaka sputtered and finally broke down into giggles, trying to worm his way out of the older boy’s grip. “Cahahahan’t you lehehehet me d-defehehehend myself for f-fihihihihive seheheheconds?!”
“Mmm…no,” Daichi decided, grinning, tickling even harder. Tanaka finally began to laugh, doubling over and trying to bat the captain’s hands away. “No, I don’t think I can, my friend.”
*
9) Lee Suga, Ler Daichi
“Okay but look, guys – it’s so deep!” Daichi exclaimed, drilling his finger even deeper into Suga’s navel.
Suga was lying on the floor, back arched, head tossed back with throes of laughter, hands pushing weakly at Daichi’s while the captain straddled him, pinning him in place for this ticklish torture.
“STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!” Suga screamed, laughing louder and harder than anyone on the team had ever heard before. He kicked his legs uselessly, face turning red. “PLEHEHEHEHEASE!!”
“Holy crap, dude,” Tanaka laughed, kneeling down a few paces away to get a better look while the others simply stared on from behind him. “Are you kidding me with that laugh? You sound like a hyena!”
“I DOHOHOHOHOHOHO NOHOHOHOHOHOHOT!!” Suga cried, but he knew he did. He let out a loud squeal, then a snort, and his laughter turned so hysterical it was practically wild.
The others started laughing with him, catching his infectious giggles.
Daichi finally let up after another few moments, scribbling over his belly lightly to bring him gently back down from his tickle-high, and then at last easing up completely. “Your hyena laugh is the best, Suga.”
The silver-haired setter gasped for breath and let out a few residual giggles. “I’m glad you like it, you bully,” he groaned, but he was smiling.
*
10) Lee Tanaka, Ler Hinata
“Don’t poke me!”
Hinata grinned, proceeding to poke Tanaka again anyway. “Why? Does it tickle?”
“You little—!” Tanaka tried to grab him and tickle him first, but Hinata had always had speed on his side, and the redhead had scrambled behind his upperclassman and latched onto him, drilling into his ribs and sides. The second-year let out a yelp, trying to keep from laughing. “Gah! Get off! Hinata, this isn’t funny!”
“I think it’s funny,” Hinata replied, giggling as though to prove his point. He reached up even further into Tanaka’s underarm, and that’s when the upperclassman finally broke and started cackling.
“Nohohohohohoho! You lihihihihihittle jeheheheheheherk!”
“Aw, you’re ticklish, Tanaka!”
“I knohohohohow that! You dohohohohon’t need to tehehehehehell me!”
The redhead beamed, tickling under both arms now. “Tickle, tickle, tickle!”
“Stahahahahap it, you fihihihihihirst-year brahahahahat!”
Hinata laughed. “You sound like Tsukki.”
“I sohohohohohohound nothing lihihihihike that stuck-up – ahahahahahahaha nohohohohoho!” Tanaka tried to wiggle away from Hinata’s fingers along his neck and shoulders but found he was attached quite firmly and couldn’t be shaken off. “Hinata, stahahahahahap already!”
“Okay, fine…” Hinata relented, finally letting him go, grinning. But when Tanaka whirled on him, evil smirk in place, the redhead knew he’d made a mistake in conceding so quickly. He turned on his heel and ran.

Summary: Daichi’s feeling down after his teams loss against Aoba Johsai, he feels as if he let his team down. When the rest of his friends pick up on his down demeanor, they decide to try and cheer him up.
Word Count: 2k (under the cut)
Daichi sighed, looking down at his hands. They were calloused and red from all of his practicing with his team, but it still wasn’t enough.
He clenched his hands into fist as frustration took over him. He felt useless, he felt weak. He was the captain of Karasuno and he couldn’t even keep his act together for one important game. He felt defeated, he had let his team down and there was no way he could make it up to them.
Maybe I should just quit.
Daichi shocked himself with that thought, but he slowly began to consider it. He wasn’t contributing much to the team, all he felt that he did was get them pumped up for games. He felt like he was a mediocre player compared to the star first years, he could never even begin to compare to them.
He grinded his teeth together in frustration, clenching his fists harder until his knuckles were white.
“Daichi! Earth to Daichi!”
Daichi finally snapped out of his trance, looking up to see Sugawara standing right in front of him. He had his hands on his hips, pouting his lip slightly as Daichi stood there, staring at him mindlessly.
“I’ve been trying to get your attention! Coach Ukai wants us to do some more practice sessions and - hey, are you okay?”
Daichi quickly straightened his back and nodded, Sugawara’s words going in one ear and out the other. Sugawara frowned, placing a hand on Daichi’s shoulder and leaning closer to him.
“Listen, I know that was a hard loss, but you can’t let it get to you, okay? None of us were at fault there,” Sugawara said softly, rubbing his hand back and forth on Daichi’s shoulder as he nodded slowly. Sugawara smiled softly, about to say something more before Nishinoya yelled from the middle of the gym at them.
“Oi! We’re staring now, hurry up!”
Sugawara gripped Daichi’s shoulder tightly and looked him in the eyes, determination shining in them.
“We’re gonna beat them next time, we’ve just got to get stronger! Come on, let’s go practice now,” Sugawara said confidently, letting go of Daichi’s shoulder and trotting over to the center of the gym, standing next to Asahi.
Daichi stood there, Sugawara’s words barely registering with him. They could beat them again, but definitely not with Daichi as captain. All he did was bring them down…
He walked over to the center of the gym, taking his position next to Sugawara who nudged him. Daichi turned his attention to Sugawara, who winked. Daichi forced a small smile and turned his attention back to his teammates on the other side of the net.
They played a few rounds, serving, spiking, and saving. Everyone was working as hard as they could, all of them fueled by their loss with Aoba Johsai. They played and played, balls hitting the ground as their fingers stung from the sheer pressure they were hitting them with. By the end of their practice matches they were all exhausted, barely able to stand.
“Alright, I think that’s enough for today. Get cleaned up everyone!” Ukai yelled from the sidelines, Kiyoko taking a few more notes from what she observed and handing them to Ukai, who quickly reviewed them.
“Daichi, can you come here for a moment?”
Daichi handed the volleyball he was holding to Yamaguchi, walking over to Ukai who was staring down at the notes with a frown on his face.
“Do you need something, sir?”
Ukai looked at Daichi and sighed.
“Look, I know you’re upset about that last game, everyone is. But you can’t let it affect you too much… You’re the captain, everyone looks up to you and you need to set an example.”
Daichi frowned but nodded, about to walk away before Ukai stopped him, quickly placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Can you send Sugawara over? I need to talk to him as well.”
Daichi nodded again and walked over to Sugawara, informing him to go talk to the coach. He nodded and quickly trotted over, standing in front of Coach Ukai as Daichi watched from the gym.
He looked around. All his teammates looked… fine. He knew they were upset, but they seemed to still be acting as if nothing happened. Hinata and Kageyama bickered as they took down the net, Yamaguchi was talking with Tsukishima about this and that, Tanaka and Nishinoya were playing hot potato with a volleyball as Asahi tried to get them to stop…
Daichi sighed. Why could he not get over it?
“Daichi!” Sugawara called, throwing himself on Daichi’s shoulders, making him gasp.
“S-Suga!” He said, fully surprised. Sugawara chuckled.
“Finally, some emotion! Hey everyone!”
The team turned their attention to Sugawara and Daichi, Sugawara letting go of Daichi’s shoulders and hooking his arms underneath Daichi’s, holding him up.
“What are you-”
“It seems our lovely captain is feeling a little bit down, what do you guys say we cheer him up?”
Daichi’s stomach dropped. He remembered the last time Sugawara was in charge of cheering someone up, and he quickly started to squirm as he realized exactly what situation he was in.
“Hinata! You remember last time right~?”
Hinata put his hand on his chin and pondered, but quickly perked up as he realized what Sugawara had meant.
“I remember!”
“Would you care to do the honors?”
Hinata nodded eagerly and the rest of the team watched as he skipped over to Daichi, standing in front of him as Daichi looked at the orange-haired first year in fear.
“Hinata, don’t!”
Hinata didn’t listen, and he quickly dug his fingers into Daichi’s sides. Daichi gasped and bit his lip, the rest of the team catching on to what Sugawara was up to. Hinata continued to messily scribble his fingers up and down Daichi’s sides and waist as he huffed, giggles starting to pour from his lips.
“Oh, I get it!” Nishinoya said, running over and immediately poking Daichi’s tummy, making him squeak.
“N-Nishinohoya!”
The rest of the team walked over as Hinata and Nishinoya continued to poke and prod at Daichi’s torso, making him giggle softly. Sugawara grinned, Daichi kicking his legs as Nishinoya latched onto his hips, giving them a firm squeeze as he laughed.
“Stahahap! Suga, let me gohoho!”
“Okay! Asahi, Tanaka, can you get his arms for me?” Sugawara asked, lowering Daichi down and letting go, Daichi immediately going to push Hinata and Nishinoya off of him as the followed him down, still tickling him.
Asahi hesitated for a moment, but Tanaka immediately grabbed one of Daichi’s arms and pinned it next to his head. Daichi tried to push Tanaka’s hands off of his own so he would stop pinning him down.
“Been a while since we last tickled you, huh Cap’?”
“D-Dohohon’t - hehe - Don’t call me that!”
Asahi grabbed the hand that was currently hitting Tanaka’s and pinned it above Daichi’s head.
“Ahahasahi! Traitor!”
“Sorry…” He said quietly, though there was an amused grin on his face as he watched Daichi flop around, Hinata and Nishinoya on either side of him as they scribbled up and down his sides and poked at his belly.
Daichi shook his head back and forth, already overwhelmed by the light sensations on his torso. He kicked his legs around, almost hitting Hinata as Tsukishima, Ennoshita, Yamaguchi and Kageyama watched from the side.
“This is stupid,” Tsukishima said, crossing his arms and looking away. Yamaguchi smiled, poking Tsukishima, who jumped.
“You only think that because I used to do it to you,” He teased, and Tsukishima flushed.
“Should we help?” Ennoshita asked, playing with his hands shyly as he watched Sugawara command Hinata and Nishinoya to get Daichi’s feet, despite him screaming “No!”.
“Help who?” Kageyama said, a small grin of amusement on his face as he watched the scene unfold. Ennoshita shrugged and just continued to watch, Kageyama walking over and sitting down next to Hinata, who was struggling to get Daichi’s shoe off.
Sugawara, meanwhile, straddled Daichi and cracked his knuckles, grinning evilly at him. Daichi laughed nervously now as Sugawara slowly lowered his hands, stroking gently up and down Daichi’s ribcage, making him squirm.
“Not thehehere!”
“Why not? It’s my favorite spot of yours, you know,” Sugawara teased, suddenly digging his fingers in, making Daichi practically scream before intense laughter poured from his lips.
“GAhaha! Wahahait! Suga, nohoho!”
“Suga yes!”
Sugawara continued to poke between each rib, up and down, paying special attention to Daichi’s upper ribs as his face went red from laughing, eyes squeezed shut. He shook his head back and forth, cackling as Sugawara chuckled.
“Mind if I count your ribs?”
“Yehehehes!”
“Too bad, I’m doing it anyway,” Sugawara said with a grin. Sugawara lifted his hands and Daichi suddenly shrieked loudly, cackling harder than before. Sugawara glanced behind him and saw Nishinoya squeezing Daichi’s thigh, eyes lighting up.
“He’s ticklish everywhere!”
Sugawara laughed.
“He’s been ticklish like this since our first year, isn’t it cute?”
“I’m not cuteeee! GYAahahaha! Nishinoyahahaha, not there!”
Daichi kicked his legs around as Kageyama noticed what Nishinoya was doing.
“Hinata, I’ll hold his legs, you get his thigh,” Kageyama commanded, and Hinata pouted.
“Don’t boss me around!” He said as he did it anyway, squeezing Daichi’s lower thigh like Nishinoya was doing.
“PLEHEHEehease! Hinahahata, Nishinoya, anywhere but thehehehere!”
“We’re just trying to cheer you up, Daichi!” Hinata said, smiling. Nishinoya nodded, looking over at Daichi who was now a laughing, red mess.
“We’ll keep going until you’re happy again!”
“Stahahahahap! Plehehease, AUGH!! Sugahahaha!”
While Daichi was focused on Nishinoya and Hinata, Sugawara had started counting his ribs.
“One, two, stop squirming! Oh shoot, I lost count, time to start again!”
Daichi threw his head back and arched his back, hysterical laughter spilling out of his throat as he could do nothing except weakly squirm. He wriggled around as his worst spots were easily attacked by Sugawara, Hinata, and Nishinoya, making him laugh helplessly.
Though he had to admit, he was feeling a little bit better by this point. He had forgotten why he was upset in the first place, probably because the tickling was blocking out any thoughts he had in general. Sugawara always seemed to know what to do…
Daichi suddenly hollered, throwing his head back and cackling as Sugawara leaned down and gave him a big raspberry on his tummy. Everyone looked up after Daichi had yelled like that, it was a noise they had never really heard before and never expected to come from their captain.
Nishinoya and Hinata paused, along with Asahi and Tanaka as they simply stared at Sugawara who continued to dig into Daichi’s ribs as he blew raspberries all over his tummy.
“Pffbt!”
“GAHAHAhahahad! Kohohohoshi! Stahahahap, pleaseee!”
Sugawara paused at the use of his first name, looking up at Daichi with a sweet smile on his face.
“Are you feeling cheered up now?”
“Y-Yes! Stop!”
“Okay! The captain’s back everyone!” Sugawara called happily, standing up and stretching above Daichi. Hinata, Kageyama and Nishinoya got up as well, Tanaka and Asahi letting go of Daichi’s arms as he immediately curled up on himself, rubbing his tummy to try and get rid of the lingering ticklish sensations. The team laughed playfully at him, Sugawara reaching down and helping Daichi up.
“You sure you’re feeling better?” Sugawara asked, his tone now slightly concerned as Daichi nodded.
“Yeah, I’m fine… No, I’m not going for another round of that hell, don’t even think about it,” Daichi said threateningly as Sugawara creeped his hand back up Daichi’s side. He smiled and retracted his hand. Daichi turned to the rest of the team, rubbing the back of his head shyly as he looked down.
“Thank you guys that… that helped.”
Nishinoya ran at Daichi and hugged him, almost knocking him over. Hinata cheered and ran at him as well, Sugawara laughing as he joined in.
Soon, the whole team was laughing and hugging Daichi, all of them feeling cheered up from their previous match. They would be stronger for the next one, and they’d definitely win!

For the tickletober thing I saw death spot was opened and since you wanted Haikyuu can you maybe do Lee!Kageyama and ler!Hinata? I love them so much lol.
Day 8: Death Spot
Lers!Hinata,Ennoshita/Lee!Kageyama
"C'mon Kageyama-kun~", just say you'll play Monopoly with us already and I'll let you go!"
Hinata teased, watching in delight as the first hesitant giggles started to slip from his best friend's lips whether he wanted them to or not.
"N-N-Nehehehever you idiot, I'm nohohohot playing sohohohome silly board gahahahames with yohohou!!" Kageyama growled through his evergrowing laughter, remaining stubborn despite how badly he wanted to surrender and make the redhead stop tickling him.
In all honesty, he wouldn't really mind playing with the rest of them all that much. Heck, even Tsukishima was playing, albeit only because he was the only first year who was really qualified to play the banker, and because Yamaguchi had asked him to.
Really, there was only one reason why he was still refusing at this point; He just simply didn't want to let Hinata win.
And so, he stayed strong.
Ughhh! Alright that's it!" Hinata snapped, throwing his hands up in frustration while Kageyama immediately took the break for what it was and rolled over onto his side to catch his breath, "Ok, can someone come hold his arms for me? I've got one more idea..."
Wait, what did he-
Oh.
"Oh nooo..." Kageyama groaned, curling himself up even further as nervous giggles started bubbling in his throat once more...
"Oh yesss..." Hinata responded back teasingly, wiggling a single finger into his side just to mess with him while he waited for someone to come assist, and he took great pride in the way the other boy twitched and started to laugh at the contact.
Kageyama couldn't help but whine when he suddenly felt someone grabbing onto his wrists just as the redhead had asked, and he looked up to see just who had decided to betray him, only to be completely caught off guard when he saw who it was. Hinata seemed just as surprised.
"Ennoshita-san?!" They both blurted out at the same time, blinking in bewilderment at their future captain as he carefully tugged the youngest first years arms above his head, Kageyama barely even bothering to fight it as he tried to process the unexpected betrayal. Tanaka or Noya he could see, maybe even Tsukishima if he was feeling particularly mean, but Ennoshita?!
"What? We've been waiting for you two to start for a long while now. I'm just helping to speed things up is all." He said, a small mischievous smile tugging at his lips, "Well Hinata? Are you gonna get him or not?"
"O-Oh right! Here I come Bakageyama!!" The little redhead declared, seemingly shaken out of his moment of confusion as he lunged at the setter and started clawing at his knees.
The reaction was almost instant.
"EEEEEYAHAHAHA!! NO!! NOOO HINATAHAHAAAAA WAIT!! NOHOHOT THEHEHEHEEERE!!" He cackled, trying and failing to rip his way out of Ennoshita's grip as he tried to kick the smaller guy off, but Hinata was nothing if not persistent, and it seemed that without the use of his arms, he had no hope of escaping until he admitted defeat.
Things only got worse from there when Ennoshita decided to switch both his hands into one and used the other free one to pinch at his shoulders, switching from one side to the other whenever he tried to scrunch up and block him out.
"OKAY! OKAYOKAHAHAY FINE!! YOU WIHIHIHIHIN!! I'LL PLAHAHAHAY YOUR DUHUHUMB BOARD GAHAHAHAMES YOU IDIOT!! NOHOHOHOW STOHOHOHOHOP!!" He relented, and immediately they released him, sitting back a little to let him breathe. "E-Ehehehe... You guhuhuys suhuhuck..."
"There. Now was that so hard?" Hinata laughed smugly a few minutes later as he reached out to hand his exhausted teammate his waterbottle, only to yelp when the ravenette suddenly grabbed his wrist instead with a vengeful look in his eyes.
"Hey, Ennoshita-san, if you help me hold him down, I promise I won't come after you too later." Kageyama said with a grin, and Hinata gulped when he saw the older teen nod and start crawling over towards them again.
Look's like monopoly was going to have to wait a little longer afterall...

Hello there! Can I have tickletober number 12 or 10 with lee Kageyama from haikyuu? The lers probably just his teammates from karasuno XD
Ok. So uh. This was actually a request that I got last tickletober, but unfortunately I never got to fill it due to lack of time. However, I still liked the idea I had for this prompt a lot, so I kept it! I'm truly sorry for how ridiculously late this is, but here it is regardless! Almost an entire year late!^^` I sincerely hope this somewhat makes up for the ridiculous amount of time it took me to get to it haha!
Hoodwinked
Lers: Karasuno Teammates
Lee: Kageyama
"Ugh! Stop laughing and get me out of this already!"
Kageyama growled in frustrated embarrassment at his teammates' hysterical laughter, cheeks burning as he continued to struggle around uselessly in the much to small sweater.
He wasn't really sure how he'd ended up accidentally grabbing Hinata's hoodie instead of his, but regardless of how it happened, he was really regretting it now, with his arms flailing about awkwardly over his head and his cheeks burning with embarrassment as he tried to pull it off without much luck.
"Aww come on Kageyama, don't be like that! Don't you think you should try to be a little nicer to the people you're asking for help from? Hmm~?" Tanaka teased as he made his way over to his irritated kouhai, giving his exposed side a little poke for emphasis, and he barked out a surprised laugh when the action caused the younger to jump away from him with a surprised yelp.
Feeling both inspired and a little mischievous by the grumpy setter's reaction, the older player continued to pepper his underclassman's torso in teasing pokes and scribbles, causing the poor first year to fall into a fit of barely stifled giggles as he blindly tried to stumble away from his devious upperclassman, only for Noya to soon bounce over with a giggle and join in not a minute later, leaving him trapped with no way to properly defend himself against their antics.
"AH! N-Noya?! Mmph! Ehehehe-mhmphehe!! No! G-Gehehehet offa me you jeheherks!! Lehehet go!" Kageyama demanded, trying his best to sound angry, but not really doing a very good job of it through his barely muffled giggling.
Tanaka and Noya both shared a look with eachother. He wasn't fooling anyone. Everyone in the club knew by now that despite his cold looks and stubborn personality, Kageyama really did enjoy fun moments like this. He would just sooner die than admit it, and it didn't take long before the duo had the poor setter sinking to the floor in ticklish defeat, giggling happily despite his earlier protests.
"Should we help him?" Asahi asked, an amused, if slightly concerned look on his face as he observed their underclassmens' antics. Daichi couldn't help but chuckle a little at the funny scene himself. "Hm... Nah. Let's give them a minute. The kid seemed kinda tense today anyway. They won't push it to far." He decided, sealing the poor first year's fate as he turned away to continue changing.
Upon hearing Daichi give the closest thing to his seal of approval for such chaos you could get, a few others soon joined in, Kinoshita and Narita taking it upon themselves to gently pin the younger players kicking legs down to avoid any unintentional injuries and Ennoshita doing the same with his flailing arms, helping to undo the already halfway off hoodie while he was at it.
Hinata had practically sprung at the chance to mess with his best friend, a bright smile on his face despite the fact that it was his own hoodie that had undoubtedly just been stretched out.
"Hehehe~! Tickle Tickle Bakageyama!!" He teased as he kneeled down to start scribbling underneath his knees, and he laughed when this action caused the ravenette to spasm, his giggling finally turning into pure, unfiltered peals of laughter.
"NYAH!! NAHAHAHASTAHAAP!!" Kageyama squealed, eyes squeezed shut and body squirming as much as he could manage with them pinning him the way they were, which unfortunately for him, wasn't a lot. "TH-THIHIHIS IHIHISN'T FAHAHAIR!!"
"Are you gonna stop being such a grump then?" Ennoshita asked, sounding an awful lot like their traitorous captain, who was for some reason uknown to Kageyama, allowing them to proceed with their chaos.
"BUHUT I WASN'T EVEN BEHEING A GRU- YAAAHAAH NO!! OKAY! OKAY OKAHAHAY I WILL! JUHUHUST LEMME GOHOHO ALREHEADY!!" He pleaded, giving in, and Ennoshita finally waved the others off of him, ruffling his kouhai's hair with an amused smile before standing up.
"Hehe- Ehehehehe! Th-Thahahat was sohoho uncahalled for..." The setter complained through excess giggles, muttering a bashful word of thanks when Tanaka helped him to sit up and handed him his water bottle, which he chugged gratefully.
"Oh come off it Kageyama, you know you were having just as much fun as the rest of us. You're just to stubborn and embarrassed to admit it. Isn't that right kouhai? Hey! I see you smiling! Don't hide from me!" The second year teased, giving his flustered underclassman's side a friendly tweak when he tried to cover up his blushing face from the callout.
"Ah! Ok ok fihihine! It was... It wahahas... It was kinda fun ok? Cuhuhut it out, hehehe.." The setter finally admitted in a giggly whisper, ears reddening as he nervously looked around to make sure none of their other teammates had heard him. Thankfully, the majority of them had already turned away to start changing and digging through their bags again, and the setter chuckled a little when he spotted Hinata whining about his, now stretched out, sweatshirt. Served the little jerk right for joining their senpai in destroying him.
He grumbled a little under his breath when Tanaka merely laughed at his embarrassed state and ruffled his hair as he stood up, offering him a hand up as well.
"Whatever you say Kageyama. Come on, I'll buy you a meatbun at Coach's store since I'm the one who started this anyway. Think that'll be enough for me to convince you not to get revenge on me?" He joked, smiling as he pulled him to his feet.
"Hmm. Maybe... Throw in a milk carton and you've got a deal."
"Haha! You got it kouhai!"

Heya! I saw this post by @intheticklecloset and really got inspired by the idea, so I decided to write something up for it real quick! I really love how it turned out so I Hope you all like it!^^
Miss Mochi
Lers: Hinata and Kageyama (Brief)
Lees: Kageyama and Hinata (Brief)
Summary: Kageyama makes a grave mistake and faces Hinata's wrath.
"GIHIHIVE UP BOHOHOHOKE!!"
"NEVER BA-BAKAHAHAGEYAMAHA!!"
The two first years had been going at this for about ten minutes now and neither were showing any signs of giving in as they both rolled around on the floor and fought for the upperhand.
The others stood nearby, observing the scene with a mixture of exasperation and amusement, and aside from a few timid inquiries from Asahi as to whether they should break them up, no one had actually made a move to interfere just yet.
After all, this particular kind of fighting was much preferred to their usual swatting and kicking at each other, and besides that, it was hilarious to watch, especially since they didn't really have anything else to do while they waited for the roads to clear up.
They were actually supposed to be heading home from an away game right now, but a sudden snowstorm had forced them to stay at the facility another night since the roads were iced over. Everyone had actually been pretty bored up until now, when Hinata and Kageyama had suddenly gotten into one of the most ruthless tickle fights any of them had ever witnessed.
They really had to hand it to Tanaka on this one. Telling the two of them to just tickle each other as an alternative way to 'work through their disagreements' as he put it, rather than hurt and yell at eachother, was a genius idea, even if it was originally suggested with the purpose of causing more chaos a few weeks ago, when the two had been fighting over a mop of all things.
They didn't actually know what they were squabbling about this time, but knowing those two, it was probably- no, it was definitely something ridiculous.
"So? Which one of them do you think is gonna give in first?" Ennoshita asked with a chuckle. "My moneys on Kageyama. Hinata has way more stamina than the rest of us, and I doubt even Kageyama's stubborn butt can actually compete with that."
"What?! No way! Short stack is way more ticklish than he is! Hinata may have more energy, but give our little setter some credit! He can take him!" Tanaka retorted with a cackle.
As the other members of Karasuno dissolved into their own friendly bickering over who they thought would win, Hinata and Kageyama were both desperately still trying to overpower each other. They were actually pretty evenly matched for the most part. That is, until Hinata happened to find an extra sensitive spot just behind Kageyama's ribcage that made the other screech out in surprised, pitchy laughter as he let go of Hinata's sides in favor of latching onto his wrists instead.
Complete silence fell over the gym for a moment as everyone refocused on the two boys, surprised by the odd and frankly hilarious noise that the setter had let out.
Kageyama stared up wide eyed at Hinata from where he lay panting on the floor, and Hinata stared right back at him, completely dumbfounded and looking as if he'd just discovered something absolutely incredible. Slowly, that stunned expression melted into something absolutely devious.
"Hihi-Hinata hohohold on- GAAAAHEEEKGH!!!"
Hinata, in fact, did not hold on, and instead focused on honing in on that spot again, this time on both sides and with more purpose than before.
"Ohohoho my Gohod! Thahahat was hilarious! Almost as funny as Suga's hyena laugh!"
That earned him a muffled, "Hey!" from the sidelines, but he hardly payed any attention to it as Kageyama fell into that same fit of weird high-pitched cackles again, not even trying to retaliate so much as just trying to squirm out of the others grip and book it.
"ACKKKIIEEHEHE!! HI- HINATAAAHAA!! STAHAHAHHAP IHHIT!! ALRIGIHIHIGHT YOU WIHIHIN!!" Kageyama cried out through his laughter, but this wasn't enough for Hinata. Nope. He'd had a goal at the start of this after all and there was no way he was going to give Kageyama the chance to get the upperhand now that he had him down like this.
"No way! You know what you have to say!" He demanded, grinning at the other as he shouted to be heard over his laughter.
"HAHAHA?! WHAT AHAHARE YOU- WAHAHAIT NO!!! I'M N-NOHOHOHOT -EEEEHEHE!!! ALRIGHTALRIGHTALRIHIHIGHT!! I'LL DO IT JUHUHUST HOLD ON A SEHEHECOND! STOHOOOP!!"
Hinata did stop, though kept one of his hands poised over that spot just in case as he carefully reached over to pull something out of his open duffel bag nearby. He waited a few moments for the other's laughter to die down before he set what looked to be a faded pink cat plushie of all things in front of Kageyama's face.
The heck?
"Apologize to Miss Mochi."
"Buhuhut.."
"Do. It." These words were accompanied by a threatening squeeze, and Kageyama yelped before averting his gaze. Everyone waited on bated breath until...
"Ok, fine! I'm sohohorry Miss... Mochi.." He mumbled, turning bright red when he heard a few snickers from nearby. God, he was so gonna get teased for this.
"For?"
"Ugh. For calling you dumb.."
"And?.."
"For saying it was silly for Hinata to bring you to games for good luck..." Kageyama glanced away from the cat plush and back at Hinata before continuing, "It was rude of me to do that, and.. I'm sorry."
Hinata seemed a bit taken aback from the sudden sincerity in his voice at the end, but quickly recovered and beamed down at his best friend as he picked the cat up again and teasingly pretended to make it hug him. Kageyama scowled but didn't say anything against it since Hinata still technically had him at his mercy with his hand still placed in that dreaded spot.
"That's ok! Just be happy I'm not telling Natsu what you said about me! I'm her favorite after all!" He said in a squeaky obnoxious voice, which everyone assumed was supposed to be the cat talking.
Hinata laughed at the way Kageyama flushed with embarrassment before quickly putting the cat back in his duffel and sprinting off with a cackle before Kageyama could retaliate.
Kageyama vowed right then and there to never make a mockery out of Miss Mochi ever again.

Haikyuu!! Sentence Starters #51-60
A collection of the Haikyuu sentence starters I’ve done, compiled for the sake of ease. These are all stand-alone stories.
~~~
51) Lee Yachi, Ler Kageyama
“Are you…scared of me?” Kageyama asked, staring at Yachi, who appeared to be trembling under his intense gaze. He tried to soften his look. “I won’t hurt you. You know that, right?”
Yachi nodded. “I know. It’s just…y-you’re so tall, and…and I did watch you fight with Hinata that one time, and…”
“I’m still sorry about that.”
“I know.” Yachi brushed some hair behind her ear. “I’m sorry. I’m not afraid of you, really.”
Kageyama considered a moment. “Is there anything I can do to help you not be so intimidated?” When she only shrugged in reply, he got down on one knee and looked up at her. “There. Now you’re taller than me. Does that help?”
Yachi blinked at him, then giggled quietly. “You’re silly. But it is nice to be taller for once.”
Kageyama felt his heart skip a beat at her smile. Without really thinking about it, he reached forward and gently squeezed her sides, grinning when she yelped and immediately began squirming. He tightened his hold instinctively, something in him rising up at her cute squeaks and giggles. Suddenly, he just wanted to be playful with her. Surely that would help her feel more at ease, right?
“K-Kahahageyama,” she whined through her giggles, curling up into a ball so that even standing up she seemed smaller than him again. “Dohohohohohon’t!”
“I didn’t know you were ticklish,” he mused, keeping a playful lilt to his voice as he pulled her closer. He got back to his feet and wrapped her in a hug from behind, still tickling gently, trying not to scare her even as he trapped her against him and pulled the sweetest laughter from her. “You’re really cute, you know?”
“I ahahaham?” she sputtered, sounding even more flustered now.
Kageyama cursed his big mouth. Did he say that out loud? Well, no going back at this point. “Yeah. Yeah, you are.”
*
52) Lee Tsukishima, Ler Tanaka
“What are we, five years old now?” Tsukki snapped as he struggled – surprisingly – to wrestle Tanaka to the floor of the gym. “Knock it off. This is stupid.”
“You stared it, you big idiot,” Tanaka shot back. What he lacked in height he made up for in strength, and soon he was pushing the taller blonde to his knees. Tsukki looked furious, which only made his victory that much sweeter.
“Get off of me!”
“No way! You’re the one who picked a fight with me!”
Tsukki’s balance wobbled and he fell even further so he was sitting on the floor. Tanaka saw an opportunity and struck, lunging for his torso with wiggling fingers. He thought he’d seen it all with this guy, but when the blonde actually shrieked and started giggling uncontrollably, the second-year realized there was much more he had yet to learn about this annoying underclassman. He grinned wickedly. “Ticklish, huh?”
“No! I’m – I’m n-nohohohot!” Tsukki growled through his snickers, betraying himself even as he lied. “Get off of mehehehe!”
Tanaka laughed, using his newfound advantage to shove Tsukki fully to the floor. Then he straddled his waist and dug into his ribs and belly mercilessly. “Oho no, I don’t think so, Tsukki-poo.”
“Dohohohohon’t call me thahahahat!”
“What are you gonna do about it, huh?” Tanaka teased, enjoying himself far too much. “Stop me? I dare you to try, giggles!”
Tsukki snorted. Color flooded his cheeks. “Okay, okahahahay, you wihihin! I gihihive up!”
“Ah, music to my ears~” Tanaka said as he continued tickling. “But I’m afraid that’s not good enough. You’ll have to beg me for mercy, my tall, annoying friend.”
Tsukishima groaned. This was going to be a very, very long day.
53) Lee Ennoshita, Ler Tanaka
“Put the book down and pay attention to me!” Tanaka threw a volleyball in Ennoshita’s direction, startling his classmate into finally looking up at him. “You don’t need to read some dumb playbook when I’m standing right here showing you how to do it!”
Ennoshita blinked. “I’m sure you know what you’re doing, but it’s always good to get a second opinion.”
Tanaka growled, lunging for him. “Give it here!”
“No!” Ennoshita held the book up above his head. Having just a couple of inches on Tanaka sure came in handy sometimes. “You’ll rip it up, and I still need it.”
“Give me the book, or I swear I’ll—”
“You’ll what?” Ennoshita frowned, his patience wearing thin at this point. “Tanaka, you’re acting like a child. Knock it off.”
“A child, huh?” Tanaka grumbled, then he smirked and reached for Ennoshita’s open sides, scribbling wildly. “Then put the book down and pay attention to me, smart-aleck.”
“Hey!” Ennoshita yelped, immediately curling up in a ball of giggles, but even once he let the playbook drop to his feet, Tanaka didn’t let up. “Stohohohohop! I puhuhuhuhut it dohohohown!”
“Too late for that, bud.” Tanaka grinned, having way too much fun digging into the soft flesh of his friend’s sides, making him squeal and squirm and giggle. “You’ve got me addicted to your laughter now.”
Ennoshita’s ears went pink. “S-Shut up! Yohohohohou cahahahan’t just sahahay that so casually!”
“I can, and I did.” Tanaka went for his ribs next, enjoying the loud cry of ticklish distress he pulled from the future captain. “Deal with it, nerd.”
*
54) Lee Daichi, Ler Kuroo
“You’re totally asking for it,” Kuroo growled, pinning Daichi to the floor of the Nekoma gym, wrists crossed above his head.
Daichi smirked. “I’m not, but I’ll let you think that if it makes you feel better.”
Kuroo gripped the Karasuno captain tighter, heart pounding in his chest. Dang, if this annoying rival of his didn’t make him flustered! Well, two could play at that game. He continued to hold Daichi firmly while using his free hand to poke up and down his side.
Daichi’s smug look vanished instantly, replaced by a wide smile and eyes that looked surprised and worried all at once. “Hehehey! K-Kuroo, dohohohon’t!”
“What’s the matter, oh great captain of the ‘superior’ team?” Kuroo teased, switching from poking to pinching. “Ticklish?”
“Gahahahahaha!” Daichi squirmed on the ground, trying and failing to pull his arms down. “Stohohohohop it!”
“You didn’t answer my question.”
“Yehehehehes, I’m tihihihicklish, gehehehenius! Stohohohohohop!”
Kuroo couldn’t help but smile at the brunette, admiring the way he beamed uncontrollably, giggled quietly, squirmed helplessly. So much for making him flustered. Just watching Daichi was making Kuroo even more incoherent. He swallowed, settling himself on Daichi’s hips and using both hands to tickle his sides.
Daichi shot his arms down and tried to push him away, but was weakened by his own cackling. “Nohohohohohoho! I’m sohohohohorry, okahahahay? Lehehehet me go!”
Kuroo knew he was blushing, but he didn’t care. “No can do, Dai. You were asking for it, after all.”
*
55) Lee Hinata, Ler Kenma
“I do not blush,” Kenma muttered, eyes on his game. “Take that back.”
“But you were!” Hinata insisted, watching him closely. “You got all red as soon as I called out your crush on Kur—”
Kenma’s hand flew up to cover Hinata’s mouth. “Don’t say it.”
Hinata waved his arms and mumbled behind his gag. Kenma knew he was saying, but it’s true!
The second-year setter sighed. “I didn’t want to have to do this, Shoyo, but if you’re not going to let it go, I’ll have to make you.” That said, he pushed Hinata down onto the floor, straddling him and digging into his ribs. “Promise you’ll never say that again.”
“GAHAHAHAHA!! KENMAHAHAHAHA!!” Hinata squealed, his laughter sounding far too happy for a situation that was supposed to be in Kenma’s favor. “IT’S TRUHUHUHUHUHUE!!”
“Shut up, Shoyo!” Kenma tickled harder, determined to force his friend into silence. “Don’t say it! I don’t care if it’s true, I just don’t want you to say it!”
“BUHUHUHUHUT YOU SHOHOHOHOHOULD TEHEHEHELL HIM!! I’M SURE HE LIHIHIHIKES YOU, TOO – NAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!” Hinata tossed his head back as screams of laughter were ripped from his throat, his palm slapping the floor in surrender. Kenma continued blowing raspberries on his ribs, ignoring his desperate pleading. “OKAY OKAHAHAHAHAHAY!! KENMAHAHAHAHA STAHAHAHAHAP!!”
“Promise you’ll shut up about it.”
“FIHIHIHIHINE, YOU BIG BAHAHAHAHABY!! I’LL LEHEHEHEHEHET IT GO!!”
Kenma paused, allowing Hinata to catch his breath and make eye contact just long enough to realize he’d screwed up. The redhead’s eyes widened.
“I’m a big baby, huh, Shoyo?” Kenma asked evenly.
“No! No, you’re – you’re just shy, that’s all! Nothing wrong with thaha-HAHAHAHAT!! NO, KENMA!!”
Kenma shook his head, a smirk tugging at his lips. “You don’t know when to quit, do you?”
*
56) Lee Sugawara, Ler Daichi
“Please! Your laugh is so contagious!” Noya laughed along with Sugawara, who was currently on the floor of the gym shrieking his head off. The libero held his arms above his head, while Hinata and Kageyama pinned his legs to the floor. Daichi was straddling his waist, digging a single finger into the older setter’s belly button, and the rest of the team was getting a kick out of watching one of their third-years absolutely lose his mind at the very simple touch.
“STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!! PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE, I CAN’T - *snort* - CAN’T TAHAHAHAHAKE IT!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!” Sugawara had his head thrown back with hysterical laughter, face and neck red, tears at the corners of his eyes. He gasped for breath, then let out another long string of his famous hyena laugh. Not being able to move at all only made it come out louder and more frantic than usual.
Daichi chuckled. “Ah, Suga. It’s so easy to take you down, isn’t it?”
“DAHAHAHAHAHAICHI STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!” Suga pleaded, on the verge of absolute madness. He shook his head to make up for his immobility everywhere else. “STOP TEHEHEHEHEASING ME!! LEHEHEHET ME GO I CAHAHAHAHAN’T HANDLE IT!!”
Finally the captain let up his assault, removing his finger from the setter’s navel and instead trailing it lightly around the area, helping his friend come down from his tickle high gently. “Breathe, Kou. Breathe.”
“You suck,” Suga gasped out, the first mirthful tear sliding down his cheek. “You suhuhuhuck so much. I hahahahate you. Ahahall of you.”
Noya, Hinata, Kageyama, and the rest of the team chuckled, knowing he didn’t mean it. The libero grinned wickedly. “Careful, Suga. You sound like you’re asking for a second round.”
“NO!!” Suga cried, finally wrenching himself free and shoving Daichi away from him. “Away from me, villains!”
Everyone laughed again.
*
57) Lee Hinata, Ler Oikawa
“You’re awfully cocky for someone who’s so ticklish.” Oikawa loomed over Hinata, a smirk on his features.
Hinata’s eyes widened. He scrambled back a step. “W-What? I’m not – who told you I was—?”
“Please, it’s not hard to figure out.” The setter waved his hand dismissively. “A great big bundle of energy who never slows down? You’re obviously going to be ticklish.”
“I – I am not!” Hinata retorted, but he knew he was already giving himself away with how jumpy he’d become. “Come at me, if you’re so sure! Come on! You don’t have the guts to lay a hand on me.”
Oikawa quirked a brow, annoyed. “No?”
“No!”
In a flash the setter had shoved Hinata up against the closest wall, grabbing his wrists and wrenching them above him so hard the redhead had to stand on his tiptoes. “Still think I don’t have the guts?”
Hinata stammered, “W-Well…m-maybe you do.”
“I’m going to tickle you until you cry,” Oikawa growled, latching his fingers onto the redhead’s hip and squeezing rapidly.
“W-Whahahahahahat?!”
“Did I stutter?”
“B-Buhuhuhuhut you cahahahahan’t—!”
“Did.” Oikawa gripped his wrists tighter. “I.” He leaned in close to Hinata’s face, forcing them to make eye contact even as the redhead giggled uncontrollably. “Stutter?”
Finally, Hinata realized defiance wasn’t going to help him here. He quickly flipped the switch and tried being submissive. “I’m sohohohohorry! Plehehehehease don’t! I dihihihidn’t mehehehean it!”
But it was far too late for that. Oikawa’s confident smirk was back now as he slid his hands further down to squeeze at his thigh. “Oh, I’m sure you did mean it, short stack. And now you’ll pay for it. Tickle, tickle~”
*
58) Lee Kageyama, Ler Atsumu
“I’m gonna tickle you until you cry.”
The words startled Kageyama, who took a step back, away from the smirking Atsumu. “Wait, what? Hold on – why?”
“Because you’re such a goody two-shoes and it drives me nuts.”
“That’s…” Kageyama turned on his heel and sprinted, hoping that he’d throw off the intimidating Miya twin just enough to make an escape. Surely he couldn’t be as fast as Hinata? Hinata caught him all the time, but that was just because he was an unnaturally speedy devil. There was no way Atsumu could—
“AGHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHOHO!!” Kageyama shrieked. Fingers pressed deep into his belly and vibrated, making his knees give out beneath him. He tried whirling around and pushing Atsumu away, but the blonde only shoved him to the floor and pulled his arms above his head, sitting on them and scribbling in his underarms. “Nahahahahahahaha! Plehehehehehehease, stop!”
Atsumu let out a contented sigh and smirked down at him. “Not until you laugh so hard you cry, little setter.”
Kageyama tried hard to resist, but by the time he’d finally managed to control his snickering somewhat in one spot, Atsumu would only move to another, drawing out a fresh round of hysterics. The Karasuno player was embarrassed as all get-out, but there wasn’t anything he could do except laugh and plead for mercy.
“Don’t you have a death spot somewhere?” Atsumu wondered aloud, moving down to his belly again, smirking when Kageyama snorted and burst into louder cackling. “Ah, there it is.”
“PLEHEHEHEHEASE STAHAHAHAHAP!! I GIHIHIHIHIHIVE!!”
“You’re not getting out of this that easily.” Atsumu laughed along with him, digging in deep. “Tickle, tickle, tickle, Tobio~”
Kageyama laughed for another few minutes before mirthful tears finally sprang to his eyes, at which point Atsumu kept to his word and stopped his playful assault, chuckling as he left the poor setter panting on the floor. Despite himself, Kageyama couldn’t stop smiling. It felt good to laugh like that.
*
59) Lee Daichi, Ler Ennoshita
“You need to loosen up more,” Ennoshita said calmly as he tickled Daichi into a hysterical giggling fit. They were in the gym after practice one morning before classes – a practice during which the Karasuno captain had been in a particularly bad mood and snapped at the others for simple mistakes. “The others are all looking to you to be a positive role model. You can’t be that if you’re grumpy and uptight all the time.”
“I know, I knohohohohow,” Daichi giggled pleadingly, trying to twist away. “Stohohohohop it, I juhuhuhust hahahad a bad mohohohorning—”
“Take it from the guy who is probably about to take your place next year.” Ennoshita kept tickling, squeezing up and down his sides, digging into the grooves of his ribcage. “You can’t let the bad stuff get to you. Just let it go. Laugh it off. Maybe you should have had me do this before practice.”
“I dihihihihihihihidn’t ask you tohohoho do this at ahahahahall!”
“You clearly needed it, though.” Ennoshita smirked. “Feeling better yet, captain?”
“Yehehehehes, yes, just stohohohohohop!”
“You suuuure?” He wiggled his fingers up into Daichi’s underarm, making him explode with laughter and begin fighting back in earnest now.
“YES I’M SUHUHUHURE!! STAHAHAHAHAP, ENNOSHITA!!”
“All right, then.” The future captain released the current one, smirking in triumph at the smile Daichi couldn’t seem to wipe off his face now. “That’s more like it.”
“Y-You’re a jerk.”
“Happy to help.”
*
60) Lee Hinata, Ler Kageyama
“I don’t think you realize the situation you’re in,” Kageyama said, looming over Hinata with a smirk. He kept his wrists pinned on either side of his head. “Do you, Shoyo?”
Hinata gulped. His heart was practically beating out of his chest. “Oh, I’m…I’m pretty sure I do.”
“You’ve been pushing my buttons all day.” Kageyama leaned in close to his face. “And you know what that means.”
Hinata whimpered.
The setter grinned evilly down at him. “It’s time to find out just how ticklish you are.”
“N-No, please…” The redhead was already smiling, the anticipation enough to give him jitters. “You already know how t-ticklish I am, Kageyama.”
“How many times do I have to tell you to call me Tobio?” Kageyama settled himself on Hinata’s hips, releasing his wrists to grab his ribs instead. “We’ve been together for a month now. You can use my given name.”
“O-Okay, T-T-Tohohohobio.” Hinata giggled when the setter began tickling gently. He clenched his hands into fists and struggled to keep them by his head, knowing it would get worse for him if he fought back. “I cahahahahan’t s-sahahahay it easily if y-yohohohou’re tihihickling me.”
Kageyama chuckled. “Oh, I’m pretty sure I can make you say my name while you’re screaming with laughter.” He pressed in a little harder. “Want me to prove it?”
Hinata’s giggles were practically laughter already, and they’d only just started. It was evidently going to be a long night anyway – why not go all out, right? “Y-Yeheheheheah. Mahahahahake me say it, B-Bahahahakageyama.”
“Oof.” Kageyama really went for it then, forcing Hinata to bring his arms down as he tossed his head back and squealed with laughter. “You’re going to regret that.”
Day 8: Death Spot
Lers!Hinata,Ennoshita/Lee!Kageyama
"C'mon Kageyama-kun~", just say you'll play Monopoly with us already and I'll let you go!"
Hinata teased, watching in delight as the first hesitant giggles started to slip from his best friend's lips whether he wanted them to or not.
"N-N-Nehehehever you idiot, I'm nohohohot playing sohohohome silly board gahahahames with yohohou!!" Kageyama growled through his evergrowing laughter, remaining stubborn despite how badly he wanted to surrender and make the redhead stop tickling him.
In all honesty, he wouldn't really mind playing with the rest of them all that much. Heck, even Tsukishima was playing, albeit only because he was the only first year who was really qualified to play the banker, and because Yamaguchi had asked him to.
Really, there was only one reason why he was still refusing at this point; He just simply didn't want to let Hinata win.
And so, he stayed strong.
Ughhh! Alright that's it!" Hinata snapped, throwing his hands up in frustration while Kageyama immediately took the break for what it was and rolled over onto his side to catch his breath, "Ok, can someone come hold his arms for me? I've got one more idea..."
Wait, what did he-
Oh.
"Oh nooo..." Kageyama groaned, curling himself up even further as nervous giggles started bubbling in his throat once more...
"Oh yesss..." Hinata responded back teasingly, wiggling a single finger into his side just to mess with him while he waited for someone to come assist, and he took great pride in the way the other boy twitched and started to laugh at the contact.
Kageyama couldn't help but whine when he suddenly felt someone grabbing onto his wrists just as the redhead had asked, and he looked up to see just who had decided to betray him, only to be completely caught off guard when he saw who it was. Hinata seemed just as surprised.
"Ennoshita-san?!" They both blurted out at the same time, blinking in bewilderment at their future captain as he carefully tugged the youngest first years arms above his head, Kageyama barely even bothering to fight it as he tried to process the unexpected betrayal. Tanaka or Noya he could see, maybe even Tsukishima if he was feeling particularly mean, but Ennoshita?!
"What? We've been waiting for you two to start for a long while now. I'm just helping to speed things up is all." He said, a small mischievous smile tugging at his lips, "Well Hinata? Are you gonna get him or not?"
"O-Oh right! Here I come Bakageyama!!" The little redhead declared, seemingly shaken out of his moment of confusion as he lunged at the setter and started clawing at his knees.
The reaction was almost instant.
"EEEEEYAHAHAHA!! NO!! NOOO HINATAHAHAAAAA WAIT!! NOHOHOT THEHEHEHEEERE!!" He cackled, trying and failing to rip his way out of Ennoshita's grip as he tried to kick the smaller guy off, but Hinata was nothing if not persistent, and it seemed that without the use of his arms, he had no hope of escaping until he admitted defeat.
Things only got worse from there when Ennoshita decided to switch both his hands into one and used the other free one to pinch at his shoulders, switching from one side to the other whenever he tried to scrunch up and block him out.
"OKAY! OKAYOKAHAHAY FINE!! YOU WIHIHIHIHIN!! I'LL PLAHAHAHAY YOUR DUHUHUMB BOARD GAHAHAHAMES YOU IDIOT!! NOHOHOHOW STOHOHOHOHOP!!" He relented, and immediately they released him, sitting back a little to let him breathe. "E-Ehehehe... You guhuhuys suhuhuck..."
"There. Now was that so hard?" Hinata laughed smugly a few minutes later as he reached out to hand his exhausted teammate his waterbottle, only to yelp when the ravenette suddenly grabbed his wrist instead with a vengeful look in his eyes.
"Hey, Ennoshita-san, if you help me hold him down, I promise I won't come after you too later." Kageyama said with a grin, and Hinata gulped when he saw the older teen nod and start crawling over towards them again.
Look's like monopoly was going to have to wait a little longer afterall...
