The art of Procrastination

Chongyun/Xingqiu

a/n: These two are adorable, I wanted to try and write for them. I need more practice, but I hope you enjoy anyway! 💚

Under the shade of a gently swaying tree within Bishui Plain, Xingqiu’s sword gleamed in the dappled sunlight as he gracefully practiced his blade techniques.

Chongyun sat nearby, watching his friend’s fluid motions with a mixture of admiration and concern. He loved seeing how passionate Xingqiu was when it came to the Guhua Clan's arts, but this was not what the writer was supposed to be doing with his time.

“Xingqiu,” Chongyun’s voice pulled Xingqiu out of his concentration. “Don’t you think it’s time to start practicing your calligraphy? You know, the thing we’re out here for to begin with. You’re going to end up running out of time again.”

“Nonsense, my dear Chongyun. The sun is still high in the sky, we have plenty of time.” Xingqiu gave one more practiced flick of his sword, preparing to summon some hydro before Chongyun’s voice interrupted him again.

“Xingqiu, you asked me to accompany you to make sure you don’t waste time again. What good is it if you’re just going to ignore me?”

“Oh, silly. I could never ignore you,” Xingqiu chuckled before sheathing his sword. “But you’re right. I should listen to you, so I’ll stop for now.”

“Thank you.” Chongyun watched as Xingqiu took a seat on the soft grass beside him.

“Could you pass me that book, please?” Xingqiu pointed to the stack of books that sat on the other side of Chongyun and smiled gratefully when he passed the book requested to him. “Thank you.”

“That doesn’t look like your notebook.”

“It’s not, this is the new novel I started reading last night. A wholesome yet courageous tale of love and chivalry.”

“Xingqiu!” Chongyun scolded, his mouth gaped. “What did we just say?”

“But this tale is simply too enticing to put down! Just one chapter?”

“You always say that, then it leads to another chapter and then another, and then you’re reading something else! You can read it when you’ve finished practicing.”

“Oh, alright,” Xingqiu pouted, but was still looking at the pages. Chongyun waited patiently for him to give the book back, his hand held outright to take it. After a minute had passed and the book had still not been handed back, Chongyun snapped.

“Stop reading!”

“Just one more paragraph,” Xingqiu lowered his head closer to the book in his urgency, as if that would make him read any quicker. Chongyun pouted in exasperation and reached out to take the book himself.

However, Xingqiu was faster and held the novel up out of his reach, laughing at the sudden act as Chongyun scrambled and chased after the offending book.

“Come on, Xingqiu!”

Xingqiu kept laughing as he held the novel up, amused by Chongyun’s endearing determination but also unaware of the opening he had given Chongyun. The exorcist narrowed his eyes and lunged forward, his fingers pinching onto Xingqiu’s ribs and tickled mercilessly.

The squeal that left Xingqiu’s lips was undoubtedly the most hilarious sound Chongyun has ever heard come from him and laughed along with him as he squirmed around.

“Nohoho! Noho tickling! Thahat’s nohohot fahair!”

 Xingqiu lowered his arm to protect his ribs but kept the book close to his body, his arms wrapped tightly around it, which only encouraged the exorcist to continue his relentless tickle attack.

“Stahahap! I give, I gihihihve!”

“Not until you give up the book!”

“Nohohoho!”

Chongyun’s fingers travelled from his ribs and sides down across to Xingqiu’s belly, sending him into a fit of hysterical giggles. One arm broke away from the book to try and defend against the merciless tickles against his tummy, which gave Chongyun an opening to have a hold on the book.

“Ah ha! Now, let go.”

“Nehehever!”

Xingqiu’s head shook left and right as he giggled with mirth, but Chongyun still couldn’t get him to release the novel. Time for his secret weapon.

There was one spot that Chongyun knew was Xingqiu’s worst and that happened to be the start of his knees, right where the thigh ends. He brought his fingers down and began to squeeze with vigor.

“NAHAHAHA!” Xingqiu wailed his arms flying down to Chongyun’s wrists to try and stop him. “NAHAHAT THEHEHERE! YOHOHOU WIN!”

Mission accomplished. Chongyun stopped his tickles and grabbed the novel away from Xingqiu, who laid down in the grass gasping for breath from his giggles.

“So … cruel … to me, Chongyun.”

“I’m not cruel to you,” the exorcist pouted. “I told you to so many times to put the book down.”

“But using my weakness like that against me,” Xingqiu threw himself against Chongyun, so that he had to hold them both up. “I thought you were my dearest friend.”

“I am!” Chongyun almost began to panic, worried that he may have genuinely upset his friend. “I had to use extreme measures because you weren’t listening to me!”

Xingqiu laughed, ending his façade and used a hand to cup his friend’s face. “Worry not, my dear Chongyun, I simply jest. I’ll start my practicing now, if you’re still willing to help me?”

Chongyun smiled. “Of course.”

TickleTober2024/Day 01 - "Ready?"

Genshin Impact - Chongyun x Gaming

“G-Gahahaming!” Chongyun laughed, desperately tugging at Gaming’s wrists in a vain attempt to push them away from his sides, to stop those nimble fingers from tickling his unprepared body. “S-stohohop! Ahahah, I wahah- ahaha, w-wasn’t reheheady!”

Gaming sighed softly, tilting his head as he stared into Chongyun’s laughing face. Was it really tickling that bad or was he just… overreacting? “Come on, I’m not even doing it that hard, Yunyun,” he cooed and pouted slightly. “Didn’t you say I could tickle you?”

Chongyun shook his head left and right, pressing his eyes shut while his cheeks slowly turned pink. “B-but- ahAHAha, w-wahahait, plehehease!” He giggled, his feet kicking behind the other and even hitting Gaming with his heels - by accident, of course. Chongyun could feel each tickle, each poke and each prod against his sides, ribs and tummy. He could also feel how bad they tickled.

Despite his cool and chill nature, Gaming couldn’t help but start to feel a little annoyed. This was their fourth attempt, after all. Just a little bit of tickling, how hard could it be? 

Very, it seemed, as he would barely wiggle his fingers against Chongyun’s sides or trace his ribs and the exorcist would already be yielding, asking for a break or for Gaming to stop because “it tickled too much”. Just how sensitive could he be, Gaming wondered.

While it was cute and amusing during the first tries, this whole situation started to take a toll on Gaming’s nerves. Now, back to their current try, he had Chongyun begging as if his life was on the line. “Plehehehease!” He pleaded while scrunching up his shoulders, as if he was about to sink on his own body.

“It can’t be all that bad, Yunyun,” Gaming cooed, poking random spots around Chongyun’s navel, watching his stomach and body tremble as he laughed, “I doubt you’re even this sensitive.”

“B-but I wahahasn’t reahahady!! Gahahaming, plehehease,” he whined through laughter in a way that made Gaming’s heart skip a beat. Damn it. He really couldn’t go against that.

Sighing, Gaming ended up obliging to Chongyun’s pleas, his fingers slowly coming to a halt until finally stopping. Gaming rested his hands flat against Chongyun’s sides, nearly cupping his waist in his hands. “You’re making this so difficult,” he pouted.

“S-sohohorry,” Chongyun mumbled, his body loosing up and relaxing after another round of tickling - even if it was a short-lived one. As annoying as those breaks could be, Gaming couldn’t deny that seeing Chongyun smile so freely was worth the trouble in the end. “I-I’ll try harder, I swehear.”

“Will you? Really?” Gaming teased, pinching Chongyun’s waist and making him jolt, letting out a high-pitched squeak. Gaming laughed, “alright, let’s do it again.”

Chongyun felt the heat spreading down his neck and up to the tip of his ears. If he began to think too much about how he looked, he would probably overheat and pass out. The exorcist shook his head and took a deep breath. “O-okay,” he nodded, slowly moving his hands up until they were high above his head.

Tugging at the first thing he could reach, Chongyun bit his inner and gathered courage to look at Gaming in his eyes.

“Ready?” Gaming asked with a smirk, holding his hands inches above Chongyun’s body. As the exorcist nodded, Gaming jumped into action, filling the room - once again - with that bright, joyful laughter that he loved to hear.

A/N: Aaaand we are finally starting it!!! I decided to start off with a pairing I wanted to write before, but didn't have the chance to. XingYun fans please spare me

Day 8: Phantom (Tickles)

Lee!Chongyun x Ler!Xingqiu

“Chongyun, over there!” Xinqiu yelled, pointing to an abandoned house.

The two boys were on Wuwang Hill, investigating yet another ghost sighting that was reported to the Adventurers Guild just a few days ago. Xingqiu had decided to tag along with the other boy, hoping to not only spend time with him, but mess with him a little, too.

He was well aware Chongyun most likely wouldn’t find the ghost, or any evil spirits, thanks to his abundance of yang energy, scaring off the ghosts way before he could get to them. He didn’t want the other to be disappointed, though, so perhaps some good old-fashioned pranking wouldn’t hurt.

Chongyun rushed to the house, holding up his lantern to inspect the abandoned furniture and rotting walls, looking for any sign of ghostly activity before feeling something trail along his side. “YaHahA-! D-Did you feel that?!” He asked the Guhua practitioner.

Xingqiu quickly stepped to the other side of his blue-haired friend, looking innocent as ever. “Feel what, Yunyun? I didn’t feel anything…”

“W-what? Really? It felt like something touched my- GAHaHAhA!” He yelped again, feeling something pinch the backs of his sides, quickly flinching away and turning around to see…nothing?

“What in Teyvat are you talking about, Chongyun? And why do you keep laughing?” His friend asked, trying to hide his mischievous smirk as he followed the exorcist out of the house.

“I…I guess it was nothing.” He waved off to his friend, continuing to look around the abandoned houses for any sign of what just touched him. “You erally didn’t feel thaHAHA-! Xingqiuhuhahaha!”

“What is it, my liege? Do you need my protection?” The boy teased with a smile, knowing he had been caught. He grabbed Chongyun’s hips from behind, kneading his fingers into the bone, following every one of his movements as he attempted to escape his playful friend’s grasp.

“Yehehehes, frohom yohohou!” He giggled, trying to pry the hands from his hips, doubling over in laughter as he did so, trying to wench himself free.\

“Me?” He asked, appalled at the idea that his dearest Chongyun would ever need protection from him, continuing his antics with a giggle. “Why would you ever need protection from me? I’m here to protect you, dear Chongyun.”

“Nohohoho! G-gehehet ohohoff-” The exorcist yelled, finally freeing himself of the tickly hands, turning around to glare at his guilty friend. “I-is there even actually a ghost here? Was that just you?” He asked, deflated at the thought that, yet again, there were no ghosts.

“I’m sorry, Chongyun,” Xingqiu began, a sorry expression on his face as he tried to comfort the other. “I’m afraid your yang energy scared them off before we ever got here…”

“Oh…” He sighed, a downcast expression clouding his face as he visibly deflated like a balloon.

“It’s okay! I’m sure you’ll find a ghost to evacuate from this plane eventuall- ugh, w-what…?” The practitioner tried to lift his friend’s spirits, until he began to stumble on his feet, leaning against a pole of a destroyed home.

“X-Xingqiu? Are you alright?!” He asked, panicked at his friend’s loss of balance, quickly hooking an arm around his shoulders to keep him upright.

“I-I think I’m being possessed…” He said weakly, his body shaking against Chongyun’s.

���What?!”

“I think it’s taken over! There’s no stopping it!” Xingqiu smirked, suddenly grabbing his friend’s sides again. “There’s no stopping it! I’m sorry, Chongyun, I can’t control my body!”

“W-what!? Xingqiu, nohoho! Lehehet gohoho!” The exorcist laughed, grasping at his wrists as the tickle attack began anew.

“I can’t! The demon has my body! Only you can get rid of it, Chongyun!” He giggled, continuing to tickle his friend until the ‘demon’ was well and truly ‘exorcized’.

Xingqiu’s menacing actions against his “beloved” Chongyun were getting old quickly. The exorcist had had it up to here with “accidentally” getting slipped jueyun chilis in his popsicles or food, or getting so scared that his yang energy spikes and he gets so panicky and overheated.

The boy was supposed to be his friend? Morax be damned, it sure didn’t feel that way. He watched with a stoic face as Xingqiu explained the reasons as to why it was imperative that Chongyun accompany him.

“You don’t understand, dear Chongyun; there will be a high presence of spirits and violence! I need someone to protect me… someone strong…someone like you!”

“Xingqiu…” the pale-blue haired boy was a bit cross, “nine times out of ten- no- not even! No times out of ten have your claims of the presence of spirits been true! You drag me along with you for an adventure in the mountains and then I’m made a fool!”

The other gaped at him.

Oh… he felt this way?

“No pranks this time, I really did hear and see some strange occurrences last time I was there! Now, they may not be actual spirits, but it would mean a lot if you were there to protect me.”

The exorcist sighed, “Fine, I will never deny you protection if you request it.”

The two boys ventured into the mountains with Xingqiu gripping Chongyun’s sleeve in a worried manner.

The taller boy pondered for a bit, ‘is he actually worried? He must be toying with me again…’ “Everything okay, Xingqiu?” His other hand came up to rest atop of the one clinging to his arm for dear life.

“Mhm… yeah. Just uh, thought I heard something.”

Xingqiu had indeed heard something, for the wind whistled harshly and the bush before them rattled. Chongyun pushed the latter behind him, drawing his sword and splaying his arms out protectively.

The shorter male blinked as his face flushed, not used to the feral protectiveness of his best friend. “Be careful, Chongyun!”

Shaking fingers tightened around the hilt of his claymore. “I always am… Watch our flank, and tell me immediately if there’s any danger.”

Drawing his weapon, the dark-bluenette nodded. He summoned his rain swords and watched diligently. The boys stood in silence, danger senses heightened like crazy.

After a second, Chongyun’s eyes darted to a tree to their left. He swung his sword, and, without warning, slammed it into the tree. He groaned as a mora ferret scampered away, exhaling to level his energy. He whipped his head around in an intense concern.

The two’s eyes met, the pale-blue haired boy’s still burning with that icy intensity. Xingqiu’s face burned in response, a small squeak escaping his lips.

“Xingqiu.”

“Y-Yeah?”

“You’re awfully red…” Abandoning his claymore, which was stuck in the tree above him, he rushed to his best friend’s side and kneeled down. “Are you alright? Did something get you? Let me see your face-“

Two cold hands cooled his burning cheeks as the exorcist examined his upper body for any nicks or scratches.

“I-I’m okay, ‘Y-Yun,” the swordsman managed to choke, “I’m j-just um… oh gods…” His amber eyes widened and blinked a few times as Chongyun draped his jacket around his shoulders.

The exorcist smiled patiently as he ran his hand along his best friend’s face, cupping his cheek and rubbing his thumb against it. “Take a second and cool off; my jacket is insulated.”

The dark-blue haired boy nodded wordlessly, hiding his mouth with his thumb and forefinger. He watched as Chongyun went back to the tree, attempting to grab the claymore. He was a claymore user, so it’s no secret that he would have a strong physique.

But Morax above… Xingqiu wasn’t expecting how built his best friend was. Biceps pulsed as his arms pulled on the hilt of the stuck weapon. His shoulders and back tightened as he yanked at the large sword.

“L-Let me help,” Xingqiu murmured, placing a shaky hand on the center of the exorcist’s shoulders. ‘Dear gods…’ his hand came up to hide his blush again. “I’ll hang onto it, and you pull me.”

Chongyun had peeked over his shoulder. He cocked an eyebrow with a cheeky grin, noticing his best friend’s hand over his lips, plus the presence of the blush creeping to his ears. ‘Ah, so that’s what’s going on?’ “Sure. Arms up. I’ll hoist you up to grab it.”

“M’not that short,” Xingqiu murmured. He lifted his arms, prepping to grab the weapon. He squeaked when he felt cold hands grabbing his lithe hips.

“Oh, right. Forgot how ticklish you are… so adorable…” Chongyun teased, knowing fully well why his best friend had reacted that way.

Xingqiu closed his eyes to calm himself as his fingers wrapped around the sword. He yanked and yanked, but it did not budge. “Not working.”

The exorcist hummed. “Just don’t let go. Keep trying to pull it off. Whatever you do…” there was a rare tinge of playfulness lacing his tone, “don’t let go.”

“C-Chohohohongyuhuhun!” Xingqiu squealed as he felt fingers poke into his hips, “Dohohohohont!”

“Don’t let go! I can’t protect us without my sword,” the pale-blue haired boy chirped with a grin. He massaged his thumbs into the bones, cooing silently as the boy in his grasp started to kick his legs a bit.

“C-Chohohohongyuhuhun! Dohohohont drohohohop mehehehe!” the bookworm whined as his knuckles became white. “M-My grihihihihip ihihihits slihihihippihihing!”

“Aww, you poor thing. You just have to hang on, and get my claymore unstuck, and then it’ll be over.”

Xingqiu whined as he curled up onto the weapon, laying his arms and chest atop of it. His grip tightened and he pulled hard, the sword slipping a tiny bit. “Ihihihim gehehehettihihihing ihihit! Ihihit’s cohohomihihi-IHIHING NAHAHAHAHOHOHO!”

Chongyun wormed his fingers up under the boy’s arms, causing his grip to falter entirely, sending them both crashing down. The exorcist sat atop of the bookworm’s hips, a hand pinning both of his arms. Xingqiu’s face lit on fire once more as he looked away.

“KYEAHAHAHA! CH-CHOHOHOHONGYUHUHUHUN! PLEHEHEHEASE!”

“Oh you are just the cutest thing! This is payback for all of the times you’ve tickled me or pranked me. An eye for an eye-“ his hands moved to the dark-blue haired boy’s ribs, tweaking at the hyper-ticklish bones below, “or a tickle for a tickle.”

Xingqiu squealed and laughed loudly, tucking his flushed face and ears into his shoulder in an attempt to hide in the jacket. “P-PLEHEHEHEHEASE! IHIHIHITS EMBAHAHAHARRASSIHIHIHING!”

“Oh? Is it embarrassing because I’m tickling you?” he leaned closer with a smug smile, ceasing his ticklish attack, “or maybe it’s because I’m tickling you?”

“I-I don’t like th-the look you’re giving me,” Xingqiu squeaked in a high-pitched whisper.

“Oh my dearest, oh Xingqiu…” his fingers continued their attack on the bookworm’s ribs. “For someone who reads so many stories, you are not very attentive.”

Legs kicked as the shorter male’s face fell into the jacket again. “Y-YUHUHUHUN! YOHOHOHOURE SOHOHOHO MEHEHEHEAN!”

“And you’re so adorable.”

“OKAHAHAHAY! OKAHAHAY! IHIHIHIM TOHOHOHOO HOHOHOHOT! NOHOHOHO MOHOHOHORE!”

The attack stopped, leaving a panting Xingqiu. His eyes were pricked with gentle tears, his face was red as a tomato, his hair was disheveled. After a few seconds, he sat up, now face-to-face with his best friend.

“Y-You had that- *pant* you were p-planning that, weren’t you?”

“Nope, it just kind of happened in the spur of the moment. Are you okay?” Chongyun replied with a bashful smile, dismounting and standing up, offering a hand.

“F-Fine,” he puffed, taking the outstretched hand and shakily getting on his feet. “Spur of the moment my behind. You’ve been plotting, admit it!”

“Fine! You want spur of the moment?” the pale-blue haired boy yelped, “here!”

The world slowed down for Xingqiu as the boy he’d loved for so long kissed him with a soft intensity. His hands found the exorcist’s shoulders and rested there, melting into the moment he’d imagined thousands of times in the past.

The two broke apart after a second. It was quiet before Chongyun spoke with a warm smile, cupping the boy’s cheek. “I can’t believe you never noticed. Did you not realize how easily I gave in to coming with you today?”

Xingqiu chuckled bashfully, resting his head on the other’s shoulder. “Let me be… I was a bit distracted... By the way, your claymore is still in the tree.”

The pale-blue haired boy rolled his eyes with a grin. He rolled the sleeves of his undershirt, walking over to the tree. “Take a popsicle from the inside pocket of the jacket; cool yourself off. I’m a bit worried I teased you too much.”

Xingqiu only hummed as he obliged, watching Chongyun’s struggle with the sword once more.

“Enjoying the view?” the exorcist teased with a small grunt of effort.

“S-Shut up.”

Xingqiu stuck a popsicle in his mouth as the familiar blush crept back to his face and ears.

Tickletober day #10: Ghost

Today I did all endings to Chongyun's event and I'm absolutely SMITTEN with him 💖💖

"Let's go, Aether. There might be a spirit here" replied the usually calm popsicle lover.

Aether had somehow been dragged along in another one of Chongyu's exorcist expeditions, or so he thought. The information the blue haired boy got wasn't always the most reliable, to say the least.

So now here they both were, in the middle of a dark forest at the North of Liyue. Once they arrived at their location, they couldn't find anything of interest.

Chongyun let out a disappointed sigh "Looks like I was wrong again, let's go...".

As they turned to leave, Aether noticed a leaf fall down, brushing against Chongyun's ear. He watched in amusement as the boy shivered slightly, and that's when a bright idea came to Aether's mind.

"Hold up! I think I see something!" he suddenly shouted out, causing the exorcist to quickly turn.

"Really?! Where?!" Chongyun tried to hide his excitement as he looked around. "Are you sure? I don't see anything pointing to there being a spirit.

Aether quickly nodded, playing along. "That's because it's a special spirit, a tickle spirit!"

"A tickle spirit...? I've never heard of such thing" the blue haired boy furrowed his brows, as he tried thinking back if he ever learned of such a thing. Unaware of his friend's playful antics.

"Oh trust me! It's real, alright. And the only way to ward it off is with... laughter!~" with that, Aether approached the unsuspecting victim, wiggling his fingers playfully. Before Chongyun could process what was happenning, he felt the traveller's fingers tweak at his side, causing him to gasp on the spot.

"Ah! A-aetheher...!" he let out a quiet giggle, instantly reaching out to grab at the blonde's wrists.

"Stay still, I gotta tickle you to ward off the ghost!" Aether couldn't help but chuckle at his own sillyness as his fingers kept softly tapping along Chongyun's sides and ribs, playing them gently like the notes on a keyboard.

"Pfftehehehe! T-that really tihickles! Is this reheally necessaREEHEHEHE?!" Chongyun let out a high pitched squeal when he felt a finger playfully poke at his navel. Before ten wiggling fingers descended all over his tummy.

"AHAHAHA! AETHER, PLEHEHEASE! I THINK IT'S GOHOHONE NOW!" the poor exorcist tried pleading as his knees gave out, causing him to crash down onto the soft grass. Aether quickly followed without relenting. He knew Chongyun wasn't used to having fun, so he definitely wanted to prolongue this as much as he could.

"Hmmm... I don't know, I think we need one final laugh~" the traveller had a teasing grin on his face as he slowly lifted up the blue boy's shirt. Chongyun wasn't sure what he was up to, looking up at the blonde with a curious gaze. That didn't last long as Aether sucked in a puff of air and lowered his head against his target. He blew a soft, yet sharp raspberry right over Chongyun's navel.

"eeEHEHEEK! AETHER NAHAHAHA! WHAHAHA! S-STOAHAHAHAHA!" poor Chongyun's brain had been scrambled over, he couldn't form a proper sentence to save his life. All he could do was throw his head back in uncontrollable laughter, an unfamiliar feeling for the exorcist, but a welcomed one nonetheless. His cheeks were so red and his smile so wide, he didn't think he could produce such reactions.

"Alright, it's finally gone" Aether softly smiled down at his friend as he stopped his ticklish assault, watching the exorcist trying to compose himself. That bright smile still adorning his lips. Summary: Gaming tags along with Aether on his trip back to Natlan to meet one of his newest friends, Kinich. Though Gaming thinks the raven despises him and asks Aether advice on how to make him smile.

Gaming hums behind Aether and Paimon as they stroll around the grassy terrain of Natlan. Aether was visiting a friend of his and happened to run into Gaming who had nothing better to do but tag along.

“Tell me about your new friend, Aether!” The brunette exclaims.

“He’s scary.” Paimon answers and Aether laughs shaking his head.

“He’s not scary, Paimon.” The blonde shrugs off the girl. “He’s just quiet.”

“That’s okay. Chongyun and Xiao are pretty quiet too, if he’s like them I can handle it.” Gaming says thinking of his friends back in Liyue.

“And he has that awful disease of a companion with him too!” Paimon frowns. “What’s his name? Axel or something?”

“His name is Ajaw.” Aether corrects. “He may be a pain but he’s a part of Kinich so we gotta be nice to him too.”

“He better not cause any problems.” Paimon huffed.

“Wow this new friend sounds like fun! I can’t wait to meet him.” Gaming’s eyes lit up at the thought of meeting someone new.

The bi color haired boy is known for his extroverted tendencies befriending anyone he crosses paths with.

“There he is!” Aether spots Kinich standing near his tribe camp.

Ajaw is flying next to the raven scolding him about something.

Gaming is star struck by the raven’s emerald lizard like eyes and tan skin that glistens in the sunlight. He had to be his friend!

“Hey Kinich! I hope it’s okay that we brought a friend along with us.” Aether bows his head to the raven.

“It’s fine.” Is all Kinich says giving Gaming a look before turning his attention back to the fire.

“My name is Gaming and I’m from Liyue. It’s so nice to meet you!” Gaming holds out his hand towards the raven who just looks at it.

“Yeah nice to meet you.” The raven doesn’t return the handshake continuing to roast the fish over the fire.

“Remember I don’t like mine too crispy!” Ajaw orders to the raven.

“You will get yours how I cook it.” Kinich shoos him away.

“Whats that thing? He’s kinda cute.” Gaming widens his eyes at Ajaw.

“My nightmare, my headaches and my back pain.” Kinich answers glaring at the pixel creature.

“Hey! I’m not cute! Get that through your thick skull!” Ajaw snaps at the bi color haired boy.

“But you’re so small.” Gaming continues to tease the creature.

Aether and Paimon get started on the picnic laying out the quilt along as passing around plates and utensils.

During dinner Gaming tries to make conversation with Kinich but the raven would only give him one word answers. Though whenever Aether would tell a story at the picnic, he had Kinich’s undivided attention. Did the raven not like him somehow? It couldn’t be! Gaming was the most likable person on this earth. From what he recalled, he’s never had any enemies.

Gaming also decides to compliment the raven’s looks such as his headband and his boots. The raven only says a brief thanks not even bothering to look him in the face. Hmm, he’s never had anyone treat him like this before.

“Hey, does your friend not like me?” Gaming couldn’t help but ask Aether on their way back to their hotel room after parting ways with Kinich and Ajaw.

“What do you mean?” Aether raises an eyebrow tilting his head to the side.

“Well, he barely talked to me as if I didn’t exist plus he never makes eye contact with me. Did I do something wrong?” A pout forms on Gaming’s face.

A laugh escapes from Aether’s lips. “Kinich is just very introverted, don’t take it personally. If you think he has a problem with you, you can talk to him in the morning before we leave.”

“Oh I see.” Gaming hums tapping his chin. “I just never seen him smile so I don’t know if he’s happy most of the time.”

“He definitely smiles. It may not be big but it’s there.” Aether remarked. “If you want to see him smile, he’s quite ticklish.”

“Really?” A smug smile forms on Gaming’s face.

“Yep! Aether pinned him down one time in a tickle fight, it was fun to watch!” Paimon expresses.

“Oh shoot!” Gaming checks his pockets realizing he left his watch at Kinich’s camp. “I think I left my watch. I’ll have to go back and get it.”

“Do you want us to accompany you?” Aether questions and Gaming shakes his head.

“I remember where the camp is! Plus I’ll take your advice on making Kinich smile.” Gaming sends him a wave before storming out of the hotel room.

Gaming spots the familiar camp with Kinich’s tribe members a few feet away. The bi color haired boy asks the members if they seen a particular wrist watch and they shake their heads.

“What’re you doing back here?” He hears Kinich’s voice behind him and Gaming literally jumps three feet in the air.

“Oh uh I lost my watch and I was asking around if anyone’s seen it.” He anxiously rubs the back of his neck.

“You left it in the picnic basket.” Kinich hands the bi color haired boy’s watch which is unusually warm.

“Thanks so much!”

“Yeah, you should leave now.” Kinich gestures towards the pathway leading to the city.

“Is there a problem between us?” Gaming blurts out.

“Excuse me?” Kinich raises an eyebrow.

“Well you’re always so short with me as if you don’t want to be friends. Do you hate me or something?”

The raven pinches the bridge of his nose. “I don’t hate you. I barely even know you. So for you to make assumptions like that is unfair, don’t you think?”

“Hmm you’re right. You’re just so quiet around me but with Aether you talk to him a lot.”

“Because I know him.” Kinich states.

“And you never smile either.” Gaming squints his eyes at him.

“Sometimes there’s no need to smile.” The Raven nonchalantly shrugs his shoulders.

“ Aether told me something interesting about you. I hope it’s okay that I try it out to make sure he wasn’t lying.” Without another word, Gaming tackles Kinich to the ground catching the raven off guard.

“Hey! What’re you doing?” Kinich raises his voice at the bi color haired boy who has the raven’s arms pinned above his head.

“Making you smile.” Gaming smirks digging his fingers into the other’s armpits.

A soft chuckle is heard from the raven who bites his lips. Jackpot.

“So you are indeed ticklish.” The bi color haired boy ponders poking and prodding at the raven’s upper ribs.

“You proved your point, can you stop now?” Kinich tries to push him away with a tiny smile on his face.

“Get his sides.” Ajaw whispers into Gaming’s ears.

Kinich almost gasps at the betrayal and Gaming is on top of the raven straddling him as he squeezes at his sides.

The raven bursts out into bubbly laughter attempting to push Gaming’s hands away. The bi color haired boy’s heart stirs a beat getting a good look at Kinich’s smile. The smile could literally kill someone by how wholesome and sweet it is.

“What about here?” Gaming teases the other slightly lifting up his shirt to scratch at his tummy.

“Hah, no.” A small squeak erupts from the raven as he flinches from the other’s touch.

“Sounds pretty ticklish to me.” The bi color haired boy snickers continuing to assault his abdomen even wiggling a finger inside his navel earning a squeal from the raven.

Kinich is writhing underneath Gaming, his hair splayed out in all directions, and his eyes closed shut. This is getting dangerous.

Gaming also playfully experiments with the other’s hips as he squeezes the fleshy skin. Kinich literally spasms trying to curl himself into a ball. When that didn’t work, Kinich attempts to tickle Gaming himself poking at his sides.

Though the bi color haired boy’s will to make him smile was stronger as he blows a raspberry against his side. Kinich cutely giggles and squirms at the sensation clutching his abdomen.

“Wow you really can smile.” Gaming decides that the raven has had enough releasing him from his grasp.

“You say that as if I’m not a human.” The raven frowns at the other who puts his hands up in surrender.

“Never said you weren’t. Though you should smile more often, it looks good on you.” Gaming winks an eye at the raven.

“I’ll think about it.” A red hue forms on Kinich’s cheeks.

“See you tomorrow!” Gaming cheerfully waves at the raven before jogging towards the city.

Genshin Impact Headcanons

Hear Me Out Cake Event!

A/N: Ahh I got so excited during the submission stage because most of my party in genshin got requested heheh so I decided to do some headcanons of them!! I also included Nilou and Mualani because I love the hydro girlies theyre so prettyyyyy hehe I hope y'all enjoy! :D

(Hu Tao, Kokomi, Nilou, Venti, and Xiangling were all requested anonymously and Mualani was requested by @pingobuparts, so I hope y'all enjoy this hehe!!)

Hu Tao

omg i know she's mostly ler but she is such a cute little lee too listen listen LISTEN!!!

she's very tickly on her thighs and knees, but her tummy is also def a really good spot hehe

you can get her pretty much anywhere but those are some of her best spots

her tummy makes her squeal and her thighs and knees make her giggle and laugh really high pitched its so cute

she will try and kick tho when shes getting tickled so be careful

i think she and Xiangling are absolute besties and they get into tickle fights all the time... Xiangling loses mostly but shes gotten quite good at getting Hu Tao

she's also friends with Xingqiu and Chongyun and they def run away from her with tickles more often than not LOL

but if Xiangling is there as well Hu Tao is cooked she will be getting ganged up on as revenge for the previous ten times she tickled the three of them

shoving in my huxiaoven agenda but she and Xiao were really close and when she met Venti it became a super fun trio and they hang out all the time

I think Xiao was hesitant to let Venti and Hu Tao meet (they both tickle him to bits separately all the time) and they definitely got him together

but now Xiao and Venti sometimes gang up on Hu Tao! and sometimes Venti gets Hu Tao and Xiao sits on the side and is just watching with a stupid little grin on his face!

Hu Tao swears she will get him back but then Venti gets behind her knees and she dissolves into frantic giggles and squeals

also when I say huxiaoven i dont necessarily mean romantic if thats not your cup of tea lol i like them both platonic and romantic but i think they just have a fun little dynamic going and i love them to bits

OH OH Hu Tao is also besties with Ganyu and Keqing and whenever she pokes or tickles Ganyu she gets the full concentrated power of Keqing tickling the snot out of her LOL

I think Hu Tao knows pretty much everyone in Liyue tbh but she can be quite the troublemaker so she gets tickled quite a bit hehe

Kokomi

Kokomi the healing you do is insane i would literally not survive without you.

I think Kokomi isn't super duper ticklish but she can definitely get quite giggly if you get her good hehe

softer tickles work much better on her than squeezing or kneading also so she should get lots of tickly cuddles and soft tickly moments oughh

Kokomi is pretty ticklish on her tummy and her sides!

I think she would also have a ticklish neck and ears but those are more intimate spots for her and she would probably need to really trust whoever tickles her there

she doesn't get tickled very often and she's very busy working as the divine priestess of watatsumi, but sometimes if shes overworking herself you need to give her a few tickles just to convince her to take a break poor girl

I think that Gorou is really shy about tickling her but he'll occasionally poke her a little bit very gently to try and usher her away from her work

Kazuha is also pretty close with Kokomi and I think he is less shy lol so he'll very softly pinch at her sides until she shuffles away to bed hehe

I think that after the events of the archon quest she's very close with Kujou Sara, and the two of them actually get along really well!!

Sara realizes that giving Kokomi tickles sometimes convinces her to take breaks (Gorou def accidentally mentioned it in passing) but I think she's not used to tickling people LOL

so when she first tickles Kokomi it's a bit too rough for her and she tells Sara that. Sara then tries very gentle tickles which makes Kokomi immediately regret explaining how to tickle her hehe

Gorou and Kazuha are pretty gentle ticklers but they kinda just poke or pinch a little bit and then call it good

Sara? oh man. she tickled Kokomi until she was pink in the face and curling up on her lap aww

she's gotten better about just giving Kokomi a few tickles but Sara is pretty sure that Kokomi didn't totally hate when Sara tickled her that much hehe

Kokomi would never admit it but she really likes when Sara in particular gives her a few tickles... its very nice and gentle. she also is the one who discovered just how ticklish Kokomi's tummy was so yeah! bonus points there

Mualani

UGH!!! i dont know Mualani as well as these other characters but I still love her sm (i have a soft spot for hydro girlies i guess... orz)

she is so tickly even though shes such a silly and fun ler i dont make the rules. she might be this super silly ler that everyone fears bc shes teasy but if you get her with one poke she crumbles. her ler nature is a FACADE!!

Mualani has a veery ticklish tummy and shes also ticklish under her arms and on her hips!! GRAB HER HIPS AND SQUEEZE she will absolutely collapse into a puddle of giggles

her tummy is definitely her most ticklish spot but i think her hips make her crumble so bad she cannot fight back if you're getting her hips its so cute

I think she tickles Kachina quite often and Kinich as well but they also get her back!! they even gang up on her sometimes and she folds so fast hehe

"wait wait guys i was just kidding WAIT NOOO THIS ISNT FAIR" and Kinich and Kachina pounce on her and as soon as they get her hips its over for her

(i dont know any other natlan characters so i will be focusing on this trio i apologize)

I think Kinich is definitely the stoic type and acts like hes not having a fun time but he loves tickling Mualani cuz she has the sweetest giggles and snorts and squeals and yeah. he loves her laugh

so does Kachina!!! Kachina is much more shy with tickling but when Kinich is also there they can absolutely tickle the snot out of Mualani and she deserves it!!!

I think Kinich, Kachina, and Mualani all have super different teases and its actually hilarious how drastically different they are but they also all work on each other??? perfect trio ever

Mualani is super fun teasy, Kachina will just be a bit shy and tease every now and then but shes mostly like "aww" and "i gotcha!", and Kinich is pretty quiet aside from the occasional chuckle or he'll point out "oh, that must tickle, huh?"

Mualani's teases work best on Kachina, Kachina's teases work best on Kinich, and Kinich's teases work best on Mualani. the perfect amount of flustering is achieved by this wonderful trio. everyone applaud

anyways. yeah. they should have fun tickle fights and then have a dog pile cuddle yap session after and theyre just. besties. IM UNWELL!!!

Nilou

NILOUUUU the love of my life right here guys

ok omg i have to admit i am So rusty on the Sumeru story quest because i played through it so fast and was lowkey doing homework while i had the story stuff on autoplay so im sorry for any big errors

Nilou's best tickle spots are i think her ribs and under her arms! i think her knees would also be a lovely spot to try hehe

Nilou is besties with Dehya and Dunyarzad and I bet the three of them tickle each other a bit hehe

I think that Nilou definitely is more of a gentle teasy ler but she is the cutest little lee ever so i love her so much!

sometimes when she's practicing her dancing she gets very into it and doesnt notice everything else thats happening around her so sometimes Dehya will sneak up behind her and give her a little poke and make her jump and squeak

Lumine as the Traveler in particular I think tickles Nilou quite a bit, especially when they're dancing or when they're just lounging around and chilling out hehe

I don't know how lore accurate this is but I feel like Collei is also somehow friends with Nilou? they both just seem shy and sweet and i want them to be besties okay

Collei doesnt like being tickled herself, and it actually takes a lot of work for her to be physical with people in general (my baby sob sob...), but i think that she feels more comfortable with Nilou than most people because they have a similar temperament?? if that makes sense

so yeah. Collei will every now and then poke Nilou and make her jump and squeak

Tighnari thinks its super immature until one of them pokes him and suddenly hes INVOLVED and he gets competitive and Collei just sits on the side and cheers on Nilou to get them (Tighnari only feels slightly betrayed)

hes... so stupidly ticklish... but hes such a silly ler that most people assume nah theres no way he cant be ticklish...

WRONG!!!! get his knees and watch him kick like a baby. squeeze his hips and watch him fold in half like a lawn chair. shove your hands under his arms and watch him throw himself backward like hes getting suplexed. GET HIS ASS!!!

ok so yeah his knees and his hips are pretty good spots mhm...

he also whines a bunch when he's getting tickled because he never expects the tables to turn. even more reason to absolutely tickle the snot out of him!

his laugh is very Normal when hes not being tickled but as soon as you start wiggling your fingers at him it gets kind of squeaky and nervous

he has a very shrieky laugh i think. he also snorts because i said so.

Xiao normally will just lightly poke him to get him to behave when Hu Tao isnt there but when Hu Tao starts tickling Venti then Xiao normally will join in lolol

Xiao is normally the person getting the most tickles so Venti lets him get away with tickling him most of the time hehe

Hu Tao on the other hand? it is insane. they will be all over each other on the ground getting covered in dirt until one of them (almost always Hu Tao) ends up on top and is tickling the other one a bunch

Xiao just watches sometimes. get him some popcorn!!

i also think that back in mondstadt Venti gets his fair share of tickles. mhm... everyone knows that hes ticklish but they choose when to exploit it depending on the situation hehe

i feel like when he goes out drinking with Kaeya and Rosaria he ends up getting tickled every now and then hehe mostly by Kaeya

i think she is one of those people that spaces out so its easy to startle her hehe so she'll be daydreaming about a new dish she wants to try and someone will swipe a finger down her back and she gasps or squeals and almost always jumps

Xingqiu and Hu Tao are the biggest perpetrators of catching her off guard with tickles, but I think for the most part she doesnt mind unless she loses the thought (but she'll normally get them back for it somehow hehe)

OH WAIT GUOBA... he is so silly and will tickle her a bit every now and then but its so cute cuz he just nudge tickles her and she gets so giggly with it awww

i think he'll ask for uppies (UPPIES!!!) and Xiangling will hold him up scooped in her arm and then he'll start poking at her tummy until she puts him in air jail (AIR JAIL!!!)

Guoba is her bestie and i think they're so silly and they have a super funny dynamic hehe

Childe is surprisingly good with kids!! He plays with both Liyue and Inazuma kids and he's a resident tword monster!! They remind him of his own siblings...

As per the poll I held earlier this year on @august-anon, 2023's list is releasing in July this year! Hopefully this gives you guys some more time to plan and prepare for October!
