leona and jamil’s interactions in 6-67 and their growth

book 6 threw me in for a wringer with leona and jamil’s relationship, and it's funny because i never realized how similar they are until leona was pointing out all of jamil's negative thoughts about himself, as if he knew these thoughts like the back of his hand. tell me i'm not the only one seeing parallels between them:

jamil as a kid was told he was never going to be equal to kalim, because he's supposed to be kalim's servant; having to concede to him at every turn in private and in public.

leona as a kid hearing whispers about how he was so different from the bright falena, and how he wouldn't ever get the throne; all his achievements a mere shadow to anything falena did.

jamil who tried to create an elaborate scheme to pit everyone against kalim, and to subtly kick kalim from his "throne", only for it all to backfire, and for him to be so scorned by having everyone find out that he overblotted.

leona who created a plot in order to secretly reduce competition in the magift tournaments, and tried to severely injure malleus draconia to keep him from playing, only for his plot to be revealed, and for him to give up on trying, thus leading to his overblot.

and then when you think about it, leona probably sees the younger version himself in jamil. jamil’s lust for power is something that leona’s been through more than once, and he knows how being arrogant can lead someone down a bad path.

the rut that he was stuck in was the fact that he thought he was more suitable than falena. but was leona right for the throne ? or did he just want the throne to prove all the people who slighted him wrong ? and again, with magift, he knew that he didn't have the magic power to beat malleus, but he still wanted to win, so bad that he played dirty tricks.

sounds familiar ? it’s basically what jamil did to try and rip the housewarden seat from kalim. jamil thinks himself more suitable and worthy than kalim but is that because he IS more suitable, or is it because he wants to publicly be better than kalim at something for once ?

that’s why leona wants jamil to move on past that. he needs to throw away the arrogance that he’s the 'best', and that 'others just don’t see his brilliance', because…he has a long way to go. leona recognizes his potential. he learned the lesson that jamil is going through the hard way, that’s why he’s trying to help him.

jamil kept insisting that he could protect leona, because he’s convinced that he is more capable at protecting him, relying on his perception of who he thought leona was, rather than acknowledging his prowess. leona knows that he’s more skillful, and he, in the end, succeeds in getting him to accept that.

when jamil can accept that he doesn’t know all that there is, and that he’s at the bottom of the pecking order…that’s exactly when he can start moving up. that’s when he can start working on his skills for the future rather than lamenting the fact that others don’t see his potential.

and that’s exactly the lesson that leona wants him to learn.

Potionology Tutoring

SUMMARY: How would it be if they were assigned by Professor Crewel to help you with your potionology lessons?

CHARACTERS: OB Students (Riddle, Leona, Azul, Jamil, Vil, Idia & Malleus)

COMMENTS: People seem to like mine Broom Flying Tutoring post, so I decided to do the same with Potions. I hope you enjoy this one as well. ;)

CONTEXT: It is normal and very useful for first year students to be helped by their older peers from the same dorm. Unfortunately you're not that lucky since you're the only student in your dorm.

Professor Crewel can see that you are a hard-working pup, but not having magic also makes you need to work harder than others. So he decided to give you a little treat. He will assign someone to help you. But not one of your troublemaker friends. Someone that could actually help you.

Professor Crewel choose Riddle for two reasons: first because he is one, if not the best student in the class. And second: you told him that Riddle had already offered to help you other times.

As with any other school work, Riddle is a strict tutor. But he's more patience to you than he is to his Heartslabyul students. He understands that not having magic hinders your learning. And the more he sees that you're making an effort, the nicer he'll be with you.

He will warn you before you make a mistake when making a potion. And then he'll tell you to pay more attention.

If you say that potions are like cooking, he will disagree. But if thinking like this helps you in potionology, then he will encourage you to think differently from him on that point.

If the potion requires you to do something like mix it in a specific way, he will stand behind you and guide your hand with his. He will start by doing this because he thinks it will help you, and only halfway through the process will he realize what he is doing. he'll try to put it out of his mind so as not to spoil the lesson.

If you fail to make the potion, he will not be irritated, unless it failed due to your inattention. He'll be more disappointed. But he will tell you that he can continue to tutor you if you want to improve. But he also warns you that the longer it takes for you to get better, the stricter he will be to you.

If you end up making the potion successfully, he will smile proudly at you and congratulate you. He will tell you that it is very rewarding to have a student like you. He is genuinely happy for you. And he'll offer to continue tutoring you, as seeing you succeed made him feel so good.

Professor Crewel choose Leona for two reasons: first because he is one, if not the best student in the class. But second: being good at potions isn't enough to pass his class. So, he's going to force Leona to do this to make up for his absences.

Leona is the best worst teacher ever. He's the best because he's really good at potions, but he's the worst for the way he "tries to teach you". He will constantly remind you that he's only doing it because he has to. But still he will teach you correctly.

He will not warn you before you make a mistake when making a potion. He'll enjoy watching the potion get all over your face. If he is in a good mood he can still say: Are you sure about that, herbivore?

If the potion requires you to do something like mix it in a specific way, he’ll stand behind you and guide your hand with his. And he will know perfectly well what he is doing with you. If he feels bold maybe will whisper in your ear. If he has to be there, at least he'll have some fun messing with his herbivore.

If you fail to make the potion, he’ll be annoyed. You're giving him so much work. But if you look also upset with yourself. “*Sigh* Oi, don’t be like that. Nobody learns the first try. And you don't even have magic. We’ll do it like this, I keep teaching you until you achieve the minimum, but I will need to be rewarded.” He smirks.

If you end up making the potion successfully, he'll smile at you and say you were better than he expected from a herbivore. He’ll "thank" you for not giving him to much work.

Professor Crewel didn't choose Azul. He volunteered himself. Crewel didn't bother asking how the hell he knew about that and just accepted it because he was an excellent student and saved him work.

And you knew that wasn't a good sign! You are absolutely sure that he will want something in return! You know him. And you were right. The problem is that, after several failed attempts to convince you that he was doing it out of the kindness of his heart, he ends up saying that he still doesn't know what he wants from you. He was just hoping to make you owe him one.

He will be extremely friendly with you, just as he is with his other "clients". But if you have a crush on each other, you can take advantage of it to tease him. He can be very good with business, but in terms of making someone blush you have the upper hand on him.

If the potion requires you to do something like mix it in a specific way, he’ll stand behind you and guide your hand with his. But not without his heart starting to beat slightly faster. Only you to do this to him. But he is confident in his skills and therefore knows that he is showing you his best side.

If you fail to make the potion, he’ll be in an even better mood. Because the more you need him the biggest the favour he can ask of you. Be worried and careful.

If you end up making the potion successfully, he'll congratulate you and say how proud he is of you. What a wonderful student you are. And, of course, if you still need tutoring he'll be more than glad to help you... Now, the subject of payment...

Professor Crewel was thinking of Housewarden. But Asim? Absolutely not! The Vice Housewarden of Scarabia on the other hand was a great candidate. But he had to assure Jamil that he would get someone to look after Kalim in the meantime.

He is indeed an excellent teacher. He is patient, explains things well, gives useful tips, etc. If you notice that he's even enjoying it and you ask about it, he can tell that is for a mix of things. First: you're a good student and much easier and more rewarding to teach than certain someones. Which in turn lets him get some rest and he is extremely grateful to you for that.

If the potion requires you to do something like mix it in a specific way, he’ll stand behind you and guide your hand with his. And if we mix him being in a good mood with having a crush on you, he is able to say some sweet things in your ear.

If you fail to make the potion, he will not be mad or annoyed. After all he tutors Kalim a lot of times. And he would choose to help you over him anytime. In fact, come to think of it, if that means he has to be with you more often and get more rest from Kalim, this is the best case scenario for him.

If you end up making the potion successfully, he'll congratulate you and praise you for being such a good student. And thinking of the same reasons as above, he will offer to continue tutoring you whenever you want or need to.

Professor Crewel choose Vil because he is one, if not the best student in the class. After all, to become the Housewarden of Pomefiore a student must be able to make the deadliest poison out of all their peers.

He’s a strict teacher, no surprises there. Actually, he's really similar to Crewel. with you don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. The problem is that in addition to criticizing your technique for making potions, he will also criticize your lab coat and probably other clothing and stuff. But will also give you tips to improve on both.

The fact that he's so good at potions and, worse, knowing it, makes him more cocky than usual.

If the potion requires you to do something like mix it in a specific way, he will verbally explain how to do it and you will have to be able to do it yourself. If you pout a little while you're wiggling and he notices, he'll wait until you succeed on your own, and while you're distracted by being proud of yourself, you'll be caught off guard by a kiss on your cheek. “Isn't it better to succeed all by yourself?”

If you fail to make the potion, he’ll be disappointed. He's pretty sure the potion failed because you weren't paying close enough attention. That's why Professor Crewel has given you a tutor. But, like him, Vil also sees potential in you, so he offers to continue tutoring you. But you have to pay more attention!

If you end up making the potion successfully, he'll smile and congratulate you. Probably will give you another "well done" kiss on the cheek. And will say if you ever need a tutor again to talk to him. But only after you've tried it yourself and are really struggling.

Professor Crewel choose Idia for two reasons: first because he is one of the best student in the class. And second: he always has problems getting Idia into group work, maybe it could be different with you and he can finally evaluate this parameter of his.

He is very relaxed about potionology itself. This is child's play for him. Which also triggers his cockiness. But unlike with other Housewordens, this doesn't intimidate you. In fact he is more intimidated by you when he sees you mad at him for talking to you like your a loser. “Fine, fine, I'll stop... D-don't look at me like that...”

If the potion requires you to do something like mix it in a specific way, he’ll verbally explain how to do it. And if you still can't do it (or pretend you can't to see what he does) he'll be like "Here, I'll show you." and will stand behind you and guide your hand with his. Only to realize what he just did and walk away from you with the tips of his hair pink.

If you fail to make the potion, he will laugh at you and then regret it when he sees your face. “He he he. Sorry, sorry. I don't remember the last time I've teach a noob. It's kinda funny.” you keep glaring at him sullenly. “O-okay, w-what about we keep trying on other day? But you have to convince Grim-shi to let me pet him, and then you can unlock a better Idia-sensei mode.

If you end up making the potion successfully, he'll look glad and relieved. If you ask “You really didn't want to do this, did you?” he'll be like “Meh, it's not so bad. You're not like those annoying extroverts. So, I don't mind be with you.” if you smile at him, pink hair tips “B-but if you ever need to do it again, let me know with like 24 hours notice or something.”

Professor Crewel choose Malleus because he knows how you two get along (everyone at school knows). And it's hard to evaluate him in group projects when almost everyone is intimidated by him. Maybe you can solve this.

He cannot, nor does he try, to hide how happy he is to be working with you. He could teach you well, if he weren't more interested in seeing how you learn and the mistakes you make.

The first time you make a mistake he will scold you in a stern, frightening way. Only to later say he was joking and you have nothing to worry about. “Don't scare me like that, Tsunotarou!” and he will laugh.

If the potion requires you to do something like mix it in a specific way, he'll watch you, amused, until you realize you're doing it incorrectly. And only when you ask him to show you how it's done he’ll stand behind you and guide your hand with his. You can feel that he is careful in holding and guiding your hand. Humans are fragile to him and you are both fragile and dear to him. he must be careful with his strength.

If you fail to make the potion, he’ll seem completely indifferent to it. After all, you were already having difficulties, he didn't think you could overcome them so soon. And he will happily offer to continue tutoring you.

If you end up making the potion successfully, he’ll look shocked at first. You managed to make this potion with just that tutoring time? And without magic? What an amazing human you are! You've never seen anyone look at you with so much pride. Please invite him to join you more often and watch you improve.

Twisted boys worst to best, GO!!

I'll make it my fav to my meh if thats fine with you. I fear I would spend hours on a detailed analysis for what I consider to be perfect chara design and motivations otherwise.

-Azul (perfect, 12/10, makes my autism go brr, I still need to do that full analysis for him because I love him too much and have too many thoughts, must pull)

-Jamil (perfect, 11/10, someone please give this man freedom and his weight in cookies, must pull)

-Rook (perfect, 10/10, makes my autism go brr, perfect world view ideology, rewired my brain chemistry, pull if possible)

I was wondering if it's ever mentioned about Rook disliking anyone, because I don't remember ever getting that impression. I can pretty easily think of someone anyone else dislikes so it felt odd lol

Hello hello!! I think you may be right!

Rook himself might be one of the more disliked characters, with Floyd calling him annoying, Leona calling him a pest and a weirdo and Malleus saying he seems like a boorish fool.

Trey says, “Rook tends to blurt out everything that crosses his mind, positive OR negative,” but I have not been able to find him speaking disparagingly of any other person.

Trey gives the example of Rook saying that an assignment from their Science Club advisor was boring and, while happening off-screen, that might be one of the most negative things that Rook has ever said. When commenting on his most disliked food (garlic) he says it is “not so much a distaste as it is a…professional aversion.”

Even when discussing Idia (possibly the character who earns more in-game vitriol than any other) he is gentle with his wording, saying, “We all sparkle in different ways. The Roi de sa Chambre shines when conversing with his own heart. He is not one for forming friendships with scads of people.” (Riddle clarifies that, “In other words, he’s a shut-in.”)

And even during the first Halloween event when Magicam monsters harass Vil with constant, unwanted photography, he never speaks poorly of them.

Trey says that he has never seen Rook in a bad mood. Vil says Rook is “affable and honest. Honest to a fault sometimes, and utterly devoid of tact,” insinuating that if Rook had a problem with someone, Vil believes that he would let it be known.

As we learned in Book 5, however, Rook is wholly capable of keeping his opinions secret for years even from Vil, so I’m not sure there is any way we can really know for sure.

What might be the harshest thing Rook has ever said was a line invented for the EN server: he calls Leona an “idiote” (the feminine form of the word) in a vignette, but he has not actually ever name-called anyone (and he is very much a fan of Leona).

There might be another question here of, "Do any of the three light-magic users (Rook, Kalim, Silver) dislike anyone?," and the answer might be no!

Much like Rook, Kalim is also infamously positive ("When everybody else is happy, I'm happy, too!") and the closest we see Silver come to having an issue with someone is during Spectral Soiree, when he tells Jamil, "It's wrong to take other people's things."

But he soon decides that Jamil is trying to teach him a life lesson about making hard decisions for the greater good and spends the rest of the event complimenting Jamil on his foresight, even presenting him to Lilia as the reason he was able to reach their goal.

Silver does not seem to have a problem with Leona either, and when Rollo's plot is revealed during Glorious Masquerade his first reaction is wondering what must have happened to him to result in Rollo making such choices.

So this may not be a quirk that is unique to Rook, but possibly something shared by all three light-magic users! :>

hi... how about head cannons about the dorm leaders with a magical girl mc from either the puella magi magica madoka, magical girl site, magical girl raising project or princess tutu universe please?

I'll be doing Magical Girl Raising Project for this one! I’ll be using the abilities found in the anime since I’m not creative enough to think of any myself. The personalities of the characters themselves have nothing to do with the abilities I chose, they’re their own person! This is written as platonic! I hope this is alright!

As an extra note, this was a really interesting topic to write about. I enjoyed it! I actually just binge watched this anime for this request! It was quite good, I might pick up the light novels!

Dorm leaders reacting to a Magical Girl Mc

A new game has been released! Customize your own Magical Girl and work hard to defeat monsters!

Granted a 1-in-10,000 chance to be a real-life Magical Girl, the unfortunate souls who agree to the contract are unknowingly pulled into a world of bloodshed. All Magical Girls are expected to collect Magical candies through acts of helpfulness. Whomever is at the bottom of the ranking list by the end of the week is greeted by death. That is, if they can even make it that far.

Magic: Swimming through objects as if they were water - the objects do not affect the user as they pass through them.

He’s never heard of an ability quite like yours! It isn’t teleportation--it’s literally going through objects, ignoring any kind of barrier. It sounds impossible. Understandably, he doesn’t believe you until you show him.

Please refrain from popping out of random places in an attempt to scare him. He doesn’t want to be on edge everyday, the stress he has now is more than enough.

He’s curious about the whole situation. Just how and why did these “people” wrap you (and others) into such a terrible contract? How is it possible to grant these special abilities onto otherwise magicless people? Unfortunately, you most likely don’t have answers for those questions.

Sadly, Riddle doesn’t know of a way to help you out of this. The library may have some information, but the chances are slim nonetheless. He can offer assistance in candy collecting instead!

Something always seems to be going on at his dorm, it would help him greatly if you were to keep an eye on everything and everyone. He knows it isn’t much, but every little bit counts. You have his full support.

Magic: Entering the dreams of others - the ability to pass through the Dream World, granting access to the dreams of those who are currently sleeping.

He’s extremely annoyed. He doesn’t understand what’s happening. He’s only seen you a couple times before, so why do you seem to plague all of his dreams?

In his dreams, you move so vividly and in-character, it baffles him. Dream versions of people can be accurate, but never to such an extent each time. He’ll confront you about it soon enough. He has no evidence of what you’re doing, however vivid memories of dream-you push him to demand answers anyways.

Highly uncomfortable to know his dreams, his usual safe place, can be invaded by a person. He demands that you stop. You can go bother someone else, he doesn’t need that kind of help. If he sees you in there one more time, he may have to resort to other methods to get you to stop.

In regards to earning candies, unless you ask him specifically for help, there isn’t much he can do. You can always help Ruggie out with chores around Savanaclaw and you’ll be set. It’s a good deal for both sides, you can earn some candies and Leona can finally sleep comfortably again.

He finds the system you’re stuck in deplorable. Unfortunately, he can’t get you out of it, but if you ever need extra help he can always have Ruggie find one or two ways to get you those extra candies you need.

Magic: Hearing the thoughts of those in need - with enough training, the user can pinpoint the location of a person. Additionally, they can hear thoughts apart from cries for help.

Your special magic interests him greatly. He already has a good pool of information of all the students, but being able to hear their most inner thoughts is something truly amazing. No amount of research could easily give him those kinds of details.

He has the twins watch over you for a bit, gathering as much information as they can about your situation and what you go about doing.

Given the circumstances, he doubts he can rob this ability of yours through a contract. This does however present an amazing opportunity.

This could blossom into a wonderful partnership. You need to collect candies, and he’s always willing to accept requests from those “poor” souls who need help. By helping him, you can meet your quota! The rules never did mention what kind of help you were limited to offer after all.

He pities you, nothing can be done about your situation at the moment. You can rest assured though, you’ll never be at the bottom of the leaderboard with him around!

When time allows it, Floyd and Jade will be busy poking their noses where they don’t belong. The mascot that appears when you’re around seems to come from that phone you use. If they can see it, then that means these beings have made a mistake somehow. Is it possible to find a way to free you from this through that?

Magic: Transforming into any biologically living being - the size and shape of the creature do not matter, anything is fair game.

When he first discovers your special magic, he’ll be amazed! Transformation magic isn’t exactly easy, so being able to turn into whatever creature you want sounds like a lot of fun!

He’ll be begging you to turn into a wide variety of animals. Can you please turn into a tiger? How about an elephant? Maybe an alpaca? This could go on for hours if you don’t stop him.

Upon learning the darker side of the Magical Girl world, he starts to cry. He knows the world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but this is too cruel. You didn’t know you would suffer this way. They should have at least given you all the information beforehand. Better yet, they shouldn’t be doing something so awful in the first place.

Because he finds it hard to keep secrets from Jamil, he ends up telling him about you. He then needs to convince Jamil that you aren’t trying to get him killed.

He goes around asking if people need help. He wants to do everything he can to ensure you survive. Money can’t get you out of this game, he’s tried to use it but that mascot that follows you around always refuses it.

Kalim doesn’t want you to die. Just thinking about it makes his head spin and worry bubble. It wouldn’t be his fault if you died in the first place, but the guilt would consume him entirely.

Magic: Freely manipulating sound - the user can generate sound from anywhere and even recreate the voices of others. As an added result of this ability, the user has enhanced hearing.

Vil won’t forgive you if you decide to mimic Epel’s voice so he can escape. He may be evading his lessons for now, but Vil will find a way to drill them into him later on.

He never would have thought such a thing was possible. This terrible fate you’ve had forced onto you makes no sense. The beautiful power you’ve been given is nothing compared to the price. He doesn’t blame you, he blames whatever is doing this. 

If such a game exists in the world of Twisted Wonderland, he’ll use his influence to dissuade people from playing. Vil will do this behind the scenes of course, his public image has to remain intact.

He actively requests your assistance. For example, helping his dorm improve their instrument playing--your impressive hearing can detect small mistakes they need to work on. Apart from this, he regrettably can’t offer more help.

Hone your abilities and work with what you have. He knows you can prevail. Please take care of yourself as you move forward.

Magic: Receiving one futuristic tool a day - the ability to randomly pick one useful tool out of 444,444,444. The tool breaks down and is no longer of use after a day passes.

Forget living in a world where magic is common, Magical Girls are on a different level entirely! Curiosity gnaws at him, but given how shy he is he won’t approach you with questions himself. Ortho is more than happy to ask any questions for him in his place though!

Once he finds out you’re one of those Magical Girls, he feels a tad sympathetic. You really got the short end of the stick in life didn’t you? He knew the possibility was there, that trope is not uncommon, but a small piece of him wished it wasn���t the case.

He supposes your special magic can be compared to gacha luck. You never really know what you’re going to get. Unfortunately, in your case you can’t even calculate rates for good rolls.

If you’re willing to let him, he’ll happily take apart the tools and gadgets you get from your daily pull. One of those future items should help him create even better machines than he can now! And even they can’t, disassembling and reassembling objects he’s never seen is a thrill in and of itself

If you happen to hear a small tip from Ortho or someone else about an issue occurring around campus, it may or may not have been Idia. He has eyes all around the school, spotting problems is quite easy.

He’ll be rooting for you from the sidelines. You’re a protagonist in this story, he hopes you can make it through to the end.

Magic: Extreme regeneration - being able to recover from any wound so long as a portion of the user’s body is left.

Mortified when he finds your body all mangled and bruised after a rough “accident.” Malleus is ready to destroy whoever or whatever did this to you. He cares about you greatly, the very thought of seeing you in such a state makes his stomach churn and pure rage wash over him.

Once you explain your situation, he can grasp enough to understand the major gist of it. He doesn’t quite know what a “Magical Girl” is but obviously it isn’t something good. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be in such a terrible situation.

To know that you can take care of yourself in the face of danger, makes him relieved. Although he doesn’t like the idea of you getting hurt at all, a healing ability is always wonderful to possess.

While you earn candies, Malleus will be working on a way to free you.

Even if these beings who granted you this ability are “all-powerful,” his magical capabilities are among the top in all the world. Perhaps, he can start by politely asking for answers from the leader of this group. If that seems to fail, killing off that mascot seems like a good place to start instead.

It’s Time We Go Home (Ft. Grim, Ace and Deuce)

I saw this picture, (not my artwork, I literally cannot draw a circle :) ) and I had a scenario going on in my head. So, I took a break from writing requests to write this instead.

Slight warning, this won’t be your normal chaotic scenario. It’s just something that I had in my mind and I wrote everything down.

“I’ve finally found a way for you to get back home!!”

Those words rang in your head for 2 days now. Your friends would often find you staring into nothingness while you remembered what the principal had said to you 2 days earlier. When they asked you about it you would simply reply nothing and walked away.

But you thought to yourself, you’ve finally found a way home!

But…

What was home?

You honestly can’t remember.

You parents? Nope, you can’t remember what they looked and acted like.

Your siblings? Did you have any to begin with? You couldn’t remember either.

Do you want to go back? Truth be told, you didn’t know.

Because to you, Night Raven College was already home. You felt like you were supposed to be here. And after months of spending time with your friends and seniors, they treated you like their own.

And you did too.

So, why is it so hard for you to choose between going back to your original reality instead staying in this one?

Maybe it’s because of all the times you stopped Grim and Ace’s fights in the cafeteria.

Maybe it’s because of all the times you tried to get your friends to work together instead of butting heads.

Maybe it’s because of all the times you helped a dorm leader overcome his overblotting alongside your friends.

Maybe,

It’s because of all the times,

You had genuinely smiled with and to your friends.

However, your mind was telling you to go home. It was telling you that you didn’t belong here. This was a mistake. You shouldn’t be here in the first place. You can’t use magic, you’re not normal.

Go. Home.

You had to make a decision. So there you were, staring at the moon, deep in thought.

To stay? Or to leave? That was the question and the decision.

You looked back at Grim, sleeping peacefully in your lap. Your mind, tainted with words that told you to go back.

And after a few minutes, you listened to your mind. Why?

Because to you, it felt as if it was the right thing to do.

With that, you’ve made your choice.

You set Grim back down onto the bed, gave him a kiss on his forehead and muttered a goodbye.

You didn’t even bother to pack your clothes because those weren’t yours. Nothing was. Nothing except the ghost camera and that was the only thing you took with you.

“As a momento.” You said to yourself and left your beloved Ramshackle Dorm.

You headed straight to the principal’s office. Not saying a word to anybody, not your friends, not your seniors and not to the dorm leaders. You knew that they wouldn’t let you go through with this and you didn’t want them to know because it would break the bond you had with them.

You… You couldn’t bear to see the looks on their faces if you told them. You knew it would be too hurtful to you.

So there you were, standing in front of the headmaster’s office. With a gentle knock, you went in.

“Pardon me for intruding.” You said to the man at the desk. He looked up from his papers to see you standing in front of him.

“Ah, (Y/N), good to see you. So, have you made your decision?” The masked man asked you and you nodded.

“Very well, have you told anyone about your departure?” He asked again and you shook your head no.

“Alright, if that is your wish to do so, I will not force you to do anything you do not want to do.” The principal said and readied his pen. “Are you ready to go?”

You sighed and closed your eyes for a moment, mentally saying goodbye to Grim and everyone. After doing so, you nodded to the principal. He let out a small smile and his magical pen glowed bright and you were blinded by the light.

It has been a week since you arrived home.

7 days of tiredness.

7 days of favoritism.

7 days of entitledness.

You couldn’t take it anymore.

Your parents only saw you as a maid. Sure, they were happy when you first came home. But after 5 minutes of hugging and crying, they had asked you to cook for them. All because you mentioned you learned how to cook. Courtesy to Trey and Jamil for giving you advice on making wonderful and tasty dishes.

You obliged to your parents, because, what child would disobey their parents, right? So you cooked for them.

For 7 whole days straight.

You also cleaned and did their laundry. You would be asked to do every single chore in the house while your parents just sat there, drinking wine and ordering you around with disgusting smirks plastered on their faces.

Yet, you still obliged.

Your siblings were no better. They would often mess up the house, forcing you to do more work. They would also get in your way while doing the chores so that you wouldn’t get to finish in time and resulting you in getting scolded by your parents.

However, on the third day, you accidentally hurt your sibling while you were mopping the floor.

Technically, it wasn’t your fault, but the parents thought you had hurt your sibling intentionally. They gave you an earfull on how you were selfish and jealous of your sibling and you were at fault for hurting them. They also said that you made the floor wet intentionally just so you could watch your sibling slip and fall and hurt himself.

When in reality, what really happened was you were recently done mopping the floor, the floor wasn’t entirely dried when your sibling decided it was a great idea to run across your small apartment home. Everything had happened so fast, one second your sibling was running and the next was your sibling crying out loud for your parents and putting the blame on you.

Yet, you still obliged to them and you apologized.

After you had cooked dinner for them, you excused yourself back to your room. You locked the door and sat down on the bed.

A few beads of tears had escaped your eyes.

Wiping them away, you looked at the ghost camera you had brought back with you.

You remembered all your memories at Night Raven College.

You remembered your friends, Grim, Ace, Deuce, Epel, Jack and Sebek.

You remembered your seniors, Trey, Cater, Ruggie, Jade, Floyd, Jamil, Rook, Silver, Lilia.

You remembered the dorm leaders, Riddle, Leona, Azul, Kalim, Vil, Idia, Malleus.

You even remembered little Ortho, little Cheka and Che’nya.

Tears filled your eyes again as you hugged the camera, wishing to go back to them, wishing that you had not left in the first place, wishing that you could get a second chance to go back and stay there instead. You cried silently, not wanting your family to hear you.

But then, you heard something. It almost sounded like someone was knocking on the glass door in your room that led to a small balcony.

You opened your eyes and looked at the glass door. You froze.

There, were 2 hooded figures outside on your balcony. Two broomsticks can be found leaning on the balcony wall. One of them was knocking gently on the door.

“Hey, you, could you come out a sec?” The knocking figure asked. You stood up and slowly went to the door. You opened it, stepped outside and closed it behind you.

You took a closer look as the two hooded figures took off their hoods to reveal themselves. As they did, you couldn’t believe your eyes!

It was Ace and Deuce!

What’re they doing here?

“Yo, (Y/N), it’s been awhile huh?” Ace asked you, wearing his smirk. Grim emerged from Ace’s behind and ran to you, hugging you. You welcomed him with open arms and enclosed him in them. You could already see tears forming in his eyes.

“Stupid, stupid human! Why didn’t you say anything?! You got me worried sick yanno?!” Grim said as he cried into your arms.

“Why didn’t you tell us that headmaster had found a way home for you?” Deuce asked you. You sighed and told him that you didn’t want them to know and to worry about you. You apologized for it too.

“Well, looks like you’ve been crying, are you okay?” Ace asked as he and Deuce had seen you cry a moment ago. Grim also looked up to see your wet eyes. You looked at the three of them and began to let your tears fall out again.

You told them how your ‘family’ treated you, how entitled they were and how you knew you were wrong to leave Night Raven College. You also told them how you wished you could go back.

When Ace and Deuce heard this, they comforted you. Although to be honest, internally, they felt like they needed to teach your ‘family’ a lesson.

But then, Ace spoke up.

“Wow, I never knew our mission would be completed so easily.”

You were confused. Mission? What mission? You asked your friends and Deuce explained to you.

“A few days ago, Headmaster told everyone that you had gone home. Everyone back at school misses you, especially us. So, we volunteered to try to talk you to coming back.” Your eyes widen at his words.

Everyone, missed you?

The one that was ridiculed at the entrance ceremony when the mirror of darkness couldn’t seat you in a dorm?

The one human that couldn’t use magic in a prestigious magic school?

The one human who was living in the Ramshackle Dorm with a creature?

You couldn’t help but smile while more tears flowed out of your eyes. Ace and Deuce then got on their brooms, Grim getting on Deuce’s broom and Ace was extending out a hand to you.

“Well? What’re you waiting for? Everyone’s waiting for you back at Ramshackle Dorm.” Ace said to you.

“It’s time we go home.”

That’s right, home.

Your ‘home’ was never really home. In fact, Night Raven College was. Your mind may have told you that the apartment you’re in was home, but your heart has and always will tell you that Night Raven College was where you belonged.

It was where you would consider home. And it was time to return to it. You couldn’t wait to see your true family.

You took a small glance back at the family who were enjoying themselves without you. You shook your head and looked ahead at the family who actually did and will always enjoy themselves with you. You smiled and took Ace’s hand, the ghost camera in your other hand. You got on his broom and the four of you flew off from your balcony and into the night sky.

Yeah, you were finally going home, and you will never leave it ever again.

Twst Ch 5 Thoughts

I have a problem with Rook: He speaks French. Rook, where did you learn French? Is there a France in Twisted Wonderland? How is French cuisine a commonly known thing in Pomefiore? And if so, where is this France? How can there be a place that speaks French or a Japan for Lilia to learn about natto if Crowley has never heard of our world in his 100 year career? How does this world work???? or maybe the problem lies with us/Yuu

Random Spacefiller Before the Cut: Leona living up to the phrase “cats hate collars”

Rest is under the cut to avoid spoilers (also it’s lengthy):

[Spoiler 5-10] Jamil: Kalim, it’s fine if you don’t (clean gym with ADeuce)……This line really stuck out to me because although we’ve seen Jamil be concerned over Kalim before, it’s the first time he’s showing signs of caring AFTER their incident in Ch 4 (AKA new relationship standing is: we are not friends) and it also invokes a different attitude.

Part of it is still probably out of habit, old-Jamil would say a master shouldn’t be doing the work of a servant. Another part I feel like is guilt. Having Kalim follow his orders (even though it wasn’t directed at him) might’ve triggered Jamil to how he treated Kalim in Ch 4. And his discomfort shows that he’s reflected on his actions and knows he was in the wrong. Grim comments the change in Jamil is extreme (duh Grim, his quick turnaround is thanks to his maturity, unlike some Overblotters…). The thing with Jamil is his growth will never by shown explicitly due to his nature, but the small snippets of focus on him give enough to read between the lines.

And throughout Ch 5 we see Jamil still keeping an eye on Kalim from afar, and his expressions are pensive. Kalim is showing signs of putting himself as an equal with Jamil by doing the same tasks as him and learning to put in effort at improving himself so that he may compete with Jamil on equal footings. And Jamil has to fight back old habits of giving in his victories to/coddling Kalim (thereby enabling his ignorant helplessness) and learn to let Kalim (and himself) go through the process so that they can both mature as their own person. And I think this growth between them will develop further in this chapter. Also I high key love Kalim’s reasoning for picking his favorite story. The boy believes in 2nd chances and redemption arcs.

It’s a bit of a pity that Jamil’s frustration was directed towards Kalim instead of the social system of the Land of Hot Sands itself, because he clearly is grappling with himself on his opinion of Kalim (yesss Jamil, be friends. He’s a good guy and you know it). But then again, he’s a teenage boy so it’s understandable that he’s unable to see past the oppression in his immediate space to see the issue in light of the big political picture of it all. And it seems that our overblotters suffering from twisted oppression(s) of this world outside of their control seems to be a common theme.

[Spoiler 5-21] So at this rate, we’ve technically had a sleepover with Savanaclaw, and Octavinelle, and now with Heartslabyul/Scarabia/Pomefiore. Will we get to finish the set with Ignihyde and Diasomnia? Will Malleus finally get invited to something???

Thoughts on Vil so Far: Coincidentally, while playing through Ch5, I came across an article talking about how ultra-Independence is a trauma response and while reading it, a lot of it resonated with Vil from what we’ve observed of him so far. From what I gleaned, characteristics of ultra-independence is:

A survival mechanism stemming from a past trauma (neglect/abuse/bullying/grief/etc.)

Tend to be the rulers of the household (They run the show)

Take on all the responsibilities/decisions because they don’t trust others to make the correct decisions (micromanage)

Results in too much responsibility on one person –> Become overwhelmed/unable to cope with the pressure

Asking for help/Admitting they are not coping is terrifying

Tend to take on codependent relationships (allows them to fix others which gives them a sense of security/control rather than a person who tries to help them)

And in the same order, I’ll relate the observations and how it pertains to Vil:

He holds bitterness to his past/hometown for whatever he experienced there (humiliation?) and is disillusioned by the concept that hard work will bring good results (the falsity of which he is currently experiencing due to, despite all his efforts, Neige is still “#1″). In Deuce’s SR Lab Coat story and other instances, he always scolds those who ask for help without putting in their own effort first.

Uh…..Dorm lead. Fairy Gala/His movie club projects/This training camp also show how much he invests in directing to make sure everything is as perfect as can be

Same as above, the strictness of his lessons in Fairy Gala, the nitpickiness of the smoke color in his Lab Coat Story, his critiques during lessons as well as managing everyone’s diet and skincare

We’re seeing him slowly slip and act out of character like standing blankly in the middle of the hall (every time that ink blot drips yo). Also I could add in the way his severity towards Epel is becoming more and more unreasonable and more of living a projection of his own desires through someone else (tiger mom anyone?)

Rook knows what’s up. Despite others seeing Vil as a very strong and confident personality, Rook’s description of him suggests something fragile and needs to be looked after. More so especially if the person in distress is unable to ask for help himself

His interaction with Azul in Azul’s SR Ceremony Robe story and Jade in Jade’s SSR story shows he is another one of those who hates being indebted to others. He will not be a charity case. His general relationship with Rook is also very quid pro quo. And the whole nosiness of him constantly getting involved in improving others to reach their full potential (he wanted to continue Fairy Gala boys’s modeling career even when it was unnecessary).

Rook mentions how he and Vil are excited for the first years to break out of their shells and show their true beauty and tbh I hope that means one step closer to finding their Unique Magic. Let it happen dang it! Also, when Vil OBs, I see Rook reacting in 1 of 2 ways: him with his beauty optimism will still find OB Queen as Beauté! in its own way OR  he’ll call it out that Vil has strayed from his true beauty (AKA: for once, you no beauté!). But he’ll help get his Roi de Poison come back to his senses and back on track. Yah I’m leaning towards option 2.

Yeah that was an essay but I’m loving Ch 5 so far because! MORE SCARABIA BOYS SCREENTIME AND DEVELOPMENT. and also lots more info on Twst lore. Thanks for reading!!!!!

Headcanons please for If Lilia had a daughter from long before Malleus was born who was sucked into a portal after her mother was killed and ended up in another world like maybe fairy tale or magi (we can brainstorm about that), Lilia and company are sucked into a portal and get sent to the same world lilias daughter is in and lilia gets reunited with her and the boys meet there long unknown sister and they all meet her friends.

Sorry that this took so long! I had a hard time trying to figure out how to do this.

So, in a classic headcanon fashion, I've written out headcanons for all of the dorms. I hope that you like this, and again, I'm so sorry for taking so long

Lila's isekai'd daughter reader x dorms

Heartslabyul

• Are amazed at meeting Lilia's daughter

• Are quite confused about how his daughter suddenly comes to be in another world entirely

• Your mannerisms and habits will definitely perplex the poor boy

• Why are you acting like this?!

• Are quite amazed by your skills in this world that is foreign to him

• These boys will definitely look to you for guidance

• Be patient

• This bit of advice is meant for all of you

• You will have to explain the rules of your world to them

• Especially Riddle

• Riddle will have to learn that things are not going to always go his way in this world

• They are all very determined with his lessons from you about this strange world

• They each feel like you're a very familiar thing to latch onto

• You will have to deal with Ace and Deuce bickering... a lot!

• Cater will be recording the entire experience for Magicam when and if they get back to Twisted Wonderland

• Trey will be incredibly interested in the foods and pastries of your world

• All in all, a very interesting group to be around

Savanaclaw

• Are positively puzzled when they notice the resemblance between you and Lilia Vanrouge

• How the heck did you even get to this world?!

• While they have no obligation to Lilia, they will be very protective of you

• Even if you can take care of yourself

• Ruggie will definitely be the younger brother character to you

• Jack, while he may be the youngest of the three, will definitely be the protective older brother type

• Leona realizes that he can't be lazy in this world

• But he will definitely be intrigued by what this world has to offer

• Being as curious as he is, Leona will definitely ask questions about your world

• Be prepared for these three being absolutely RAVENOUS at the dinner table

• They are animals as well as men, so make sure to feed them a lot and well!!

• Teaching them about your world will be like teaching dogs how to roll over

• Some may catch on while the others will definitely have to keep learning

• In this case...

• Jack and Ruggie have to keep Leona out of trouble

• The lion prince is curious, so of course he's going to wander around

Octavinelle

• Have no trouble seeing the resemblance between you and Lilia

• But they are increasingly curious as to how you got to be here in this world

• While they are not yet accustomed to the ways of your world, they'll absolutely treat you with respect

• Floyd will be hopping around like a little kid at all the wonders of your world

• Jade and Azul will definitely ask questions

• Certainly have your back

• While Azul will camouflage this as a way to gain a favor or two from Diasomnia, his main objective is how intriguing he finds you and your adaptability

• These three are probably the more gentlemanly of the groups that could find themselves in your world

• They're already quite adapted to your world and how things work

• The only reason that they want you to come with them everywhere is because they want to spend time with you

Scarabia

• Might as well be a kid and his babysitter on a field trip

• Kalim will be constantly in shock about you being Lilia's daughter

• Jamil, while at first shocked, is more interested in how you can to be in this world

• You and Jamil will exercise a great deal of patience in making sure Kalim stays out of trouble

• After some time, Jamil may confide in you about his feelings toward Kalim and may even ask for advice

• Your world has definitely given you a perspective on matters such as these

• So your insight is definitely helpful

• Kalim, of course having no clue, will be too distracted by such wonders of your world

• Kalim is a little kid in a candy store

• Being in this world is a learning experience for these two

• Jamil learns patience to a brilliant degree thanks to your guidance

• Kalim, though it's a process, learns that he needs to be cautious

• Kalim will need constant reminding, of course

• But nothing that you and Jamil can't handle

Pomefiore

• The proud founding members of the "All Women are Queens" squad

• Rook and Vil, being the romantics they are, will say that you capture all of the good aspects of Lilia

• Epel will probably be shy at first, but he will come to see you as someone he can look up to

• Be prepared for a shopping trip

• Vil and Rook want to know all about the fashion and cosmetics of your world

• While you may or may not be an expert on this, you do have fun with these three

• Vil is very interested in dressing you up in the items he finds

• Rook, at the most random of times, will verbally admire your beauty, and Vil will definitely agree

• Epel will shyly give his compliments here and there, but it will take a lot to get him out of his shell

• These three catch on to the ways of your world really quickly

• Vil and Rook, of course, soon become the fashion icons

• This leaves you and Epel a bit bewildered, but considering their looks, you two just shrug it off

• A. Lot. Of. Shopping

• You will end up having to give Vil and Rook an allowance

• Epel is seemingly the only responsible one

• These three, especially with their mannerisms, are quite a funny group to be around

Ignihyde

• Its 50/50 will Idia

• On one side, he's freaking out because he's frightened of being in this new world so suddenly

• On the other side, absolutely fanboys!!

• He's always loved reading manga about people who go from one world into another

• He's honored that he now joins the ranks of isekai'd heroes and heroines

• But at the same time it frightens the HELL out of him

• Ortho will probably be the most respectable and greet you like a human being

• He will be the one to mention to Idia about the likeness between you and Lilia

• Despite his shyness, Idia will definitely be intrigued to know more about your world

• You may have to be patient and guide him through when he gets frightened

• Ortho definitely takes the opportunity to make note of the differences and similarities of the two worlds

• He'll also be looking after his brother a bit considering how Idia can be sometimes

• Your world teaches Idia a lot about coming out of his shell, which astonishes Ortho

• Ortho is very glad to see his brother actually having fun and smiling

• Ortho learns how to let his brother try things on his own

• In Twisted Wonderland, Idia and Ortho are exceedingly close and that closeness sometimes hinders either from really learning anything new

• The two brothers are still very close, but they know that it's okay to try something new on their own every now and again

Diasomnia

• Much rejoicing on Lilia's part, especially tears of joy

• He gets to see his daughter again!!

• The other three will be in awe

• They had no idea that Lilia had a daughter

• Sebek.exe has stopped working...

• While Sebek is having a bit of a breakdown trying to come to terms with Lilia having a daughter, Malleus and Silver are actually quite curious

• Malleus himself is definitely curious about the girl who is his elder sister and wants to get to know her

• These four are DEFINITELY overprotective of you

• Even if you know the dangers of your world better than they do

• Lilia's actions are somewhat justified

• He is your father after all

• But it is very clear that Silver and Sebek are following the concerns Malleus has for your safety

• Oddly enough, you are the one to actually get them out of trouble

• Your world has A LOT to teach these four

• Malleus learns to be more open and will actually seek out opportunities to be with other people

• Silver and Sebek both learn that constant guarding and sheltering can be a bit detrimental to Malleus' social health

• So these two learn about letting things go

• This is also one of the many lessons for Lilia

• Lilia knows that you have your own life to live, but he wants to always be there for you

• This is his paternal instincts kicking in, even after so many years

• He's missed all of your childhood, and that makes him sad

• But, he couldn't be more proud of you

• He loves the strong and talented woman you've become

For all the dorms, when a way is found for all of them to go home, they want to bring you back with them. Whether you stay in this world or go back to your father's world, that decision is for you to make. And whatever you choose, these boys will respect that decision.

There we go! Sorry about that! As an isekai lover, I love thinking about all the possibilities, so that's why I did all the dorms.

Okay seriously - I need to stop making these headcanons it’s midnight at my house. I’ve spent probably close to 13 hours (give or take with a lot of breaks) writing these down and doing research on characters just so that my headcanons don’t seem completely out of the blue. Also, don’t be afraid to post your own headcanons, even if canon doesn’t always support them. That’s the thing about fictional characters - they’re open to interpretation!
