Povratak legende: Nedeljko Bilkić promovisao album i pokazao da je i u devetoj deceniji u punoj snazi

Već punih šest decenija Nedeljko Bilkić važi za jednog od najcenjenijih pevača na prostoru Balkana, za nekog ko je u bogatoj karijeri ostavio pregršt hitova za sva vremena, ali i za nekoga ko se uvek trudi da pomera granice. Jednu od njih upravo je pomerio sinoć kada je promovisao svoj album “Hvala bogu” i tako postao najstariji diskografski aktivni pevač na svetu.

No, to što je u devetoj deceniji života nikako nije znak da je izgubio bilo šta od magije u glasu. Naprotiv, legendarni pevač je u novim pesmama, koje će zasigurno naći mesto uz njegove stare hitove koji su ušli u istoriju muzike, pokazao da je muzički i vokalno i dalje u punoj snazi, i da mladi i dalje imaju na koga da se ugledaju.

Čitav događaj okupio je izvođače i autore svih generacija domaće estradne scene pa su među onima koji su došli da premijerno čuju album bili i Leo Martin, Slavko Banjac, Radiša Urošević, Miša Mijatović, Jasna Kočijašević, Damir Handanović (sa suprugom, ministarkom Đedović), Aleksandar Tirnanić, Neda Nikolić, Čeda Marković, Dejan Nedić Tejovac, Slavko Stefanović Slavkoni, Zoran Jagodić Rule, Acko Nezirović, Nenad Manojlović, i mnogi drugi, a najveću pažnju medija privukla je supruga domaćina večeri - Dušica Bilkić. Legendarna pevačica, naime, već više od decenije važi za nekoga ko se povukao iz javnosti, te je ovo bila jedinstvena prilika da je predstavnici medija vide, a opšti zaključak je da i njoj kao i Nedeljku godine predstavljaju samo broj.

- Naravno da sam tu uz svog supruga kao što sam oduvek i bila. Čula sam album i srećna sam što i dalje postoje autori koji forsiraju kvalitet a ne samo trendove - rekla je vidno srećna Dušica.

U zvaničnom delu programa koji je vodila Dragana Katić, Bilkić se zahvalio svima koji su došli da ga podrže.

- Drago mi je što ovde vidim mnogo ljudi koje i poslovno i privatno cenim. Hvala i medijima na ovolikoj pažnji, mi smo pesmama dali svu ljubav i posvetili smo se svakoj kao da je singl. Naša želja je i da publika to prepozna i da zavoli ove, kao što je zavolela pesme “Krčma u planini”, “Tebi, majko, misli lete”, “Most do moga zavičaja” i mnoge druge - rekao je Bilkić da bi potom i uživo zapevao nove pesme ali i stare hitove u pratnji istaknutog umetnika Aleksandra Sofronijevića, koji stoji kao producent i aranžer iza pesama, a čija kuća “AS studioton” je objavila album.

- Naša čast je da nam poverenje daju legende poput gospodina Bilkića. Mi smo još mala kuća, ali imamo velike želje i ambiciju da vratimo kvalitet na muzičku scenu i to upravo pokazujemo kroz ovaj ali i sve druge projekte koje smo radili ili pripremamo - rekao je Sofronijević koji je sa Bilkićem, uz podršku orkestra, razgalio sve pristune.

was recently reminded about the fact that tim worked in publishing for a few years before going to the magnus institute (thanks jay!). i think he maybe met sasha there. maybe he bumped into her while getting coffee. maybe she was visiting a friend. either way they hit it off, and though tim was cold and closed off, she brought him out of his shell.

he was still broken when he started at the institute, but he was thawed enough to create a personality out of the scraps of danny and the pop culture that were laying in his brain. it's instinctive to him to crack a joke to ease tension; it was easy enough to glue the cracks with flirtatiousness and charisma.

he didn't reach out to anyone, is the thing. he was well-liked enough except for when he wasn't, avoided everyone except sasha and a select few others, and threw himself into his work. and then jon joined, of course, and tim saw too much of the shattered pieces in jon's face and he was still refusing to grieve so he decided to try to be to jon what sasha was to him.

jon refused, but he gave in enough that he formed a tentative friendship with tim that eventually turned into something a little more real.

and then the promotion, and sasha and tim and jon down in the archives, the only two people tim really willingly spends time with nowadays, and he's forced to get close to martin because if he doesn't work will be even more insufferable than it already is. he smoothes over what he can with jokes and probing questions and attempts to get jon to lighten up but he's wary of martin, of this man he doesn't know and doesn't trust.

they're forced together, obviously, but tim is still hesitant. and this is getting too long and getting away from me too much so i'll stop here.

Ahhh the Kenzie interlude. Fuck.

You get stuck in a situation where you're forced to play at being a family. The mom cooks and everyone's grateful and if you're not acting grateful then you're a horrible daughter and you need to be broken into your role. Everyone knows how a family is supposed to be, now act the part or there'll be fucking consequences. And she ends up flipping it on them, forcing them to play at being a loving mother and father for her in the same way they forced her to act like the daughter they wanted. And she sits there, eating dinner with people who try to poison her given a moments chance, and she can't be happy! She's tasted what this is supposed to be like, what its like to have parents who love you! But they're being great parents to some other kids instead because you fucked it up! So instead she complements her mother's cooking and eats her dinner while trying not to think about her face getting smashed into a dinner plate. "That's family." Christ.

God, thinking of it as an camera-based power is focusing on the wrong thing. She makes projections. She makes things that appear realistic but don't have substance and fall away at a touch. She's been wearing a projection to hide her scar the whole time we've known her. Her whole life is making masks to try and get people to like her, and she got a power that lets her make better masks.
