I know this is an old post, but I had to reblog this to say this edit alone is amazing, especially considering mods weren't a thing back then. And this song is in my head rent free now.
And the fic My Canvas to compliment it is so great, and wholesome AF.
I'm pretty sure you are the founder of this ship too, so that's pretty commendable! You started me on a path to a world of wonderful fanfiction and fanart! The reason I got back into Tumblr, honestly!

Woah that's been 346k words of fic
Well 2022 sure been productive on the fanfic side (and fanart side)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First off, Gardengate - complete at 270k Need I introduce it again? Markus and Connor investigating what Amanda really is, Manfred brothers bonding, #DadEnergy Hank, stupid genius Elijah and Carl trying (?) to be a better dad? Many dads, much family.
There was Rise Like A Phoenix - 3k one-shot, based on @nock-and-bolt's fic Amidst the Ashes of Our Dreams. I don't have a fanart for it but you should check it out: Markus confronting Kamski, grand drama. It's a smol fic but I actually love it xD
Then there's Everyone Deserves Happiness - 40k in google docs First part is all up: Elijah thought it was a good idea to adopt a teenager. Leo is chaos. Everybody is problematic, and it's half hilarious lines, half gutting feelings. Go read it!
And finally The Heist is not published yet. 33k so far. Markus led a victorious uprise against the humans, Detroit is being evacuated, and machine Connor deviated at long last. But what's become of the atom bomb that hasn't been detonated (yet) and who gave it to Jericho?
Staring my favs again, Anderson, Manfred and Kamski fams, and it's trope subversion as usual. I guess this is Gardengate x Rise Like a Phoenix in matter of vibes?

It's still technically Wednesday for me so looks like we got another close call update!
@dbhrarepairs Here's my submission for day 3, wrong blind date.
Both Convin and Elijah/Leo bc I shouldn't brainstorm when I'm tired.
If you would rather read on AO3, you can click here!
https://archiveofourown.org/works/20611682
Again, I apologize, but I'm having serious troubles with getting the read more break in here if anyone has tips I'm willing to listen Google isn't helping.
EDIT: I FIGURED IT OUT. Well, really, I just went on my laptop bc mobile, for all its benefits for my schedule, is super confusing when it wants to be.
Usually, Nines is rather reliable. Always prepared, always punctual, always one step ahead of everyone else.
Just not this week. Finals week had, as always, was hellish for most students. Even Nines felt some of the end of the year panic. And by some, it was more along the lines of going into an over-studying craze.
One problem that accompanies what his close friends have dubbed The Dark Ages is that he takes on too many extra projects in a failing attempt to distract himself.
One such project is promising four very confused and stressed friends to set them up on blind dates. Four friends that, he decided, needed something new to distract from the stresses of life.
Friend number one—Gavin Reed, a police officer closing in on his second year out of police academy—was the one who unintentionally gave Nines the idea to play matchmaker.
On a cold Friday evening, their weekly "chill day," Gavin was complaining about his coworkers, as usual.
"So, there's this new guy, a transfer from Dearborn, who is so fuckin' annoying. Dude spends his entire fucking break, I shit you not, to gush about his wife. Just got married. Who cares? Lotsa people get married, why should it be such a big deal? So I say to him, "Why don't you spend less time rambling on about the missus, and more time solving fucking crimes?" And the asshole has the gall to tell me that I'd change my mind if I could keep someone around for more than a week! What a dick right?"
While Nines loved spending time with Gavin, he made conversations interesting and he was honest, he got into moods and would, for lack of a better word, be a huge bitch about things he didn't agree with.
Nines shot a glance towards Gavin, taking in his position sprawled out on Nines' couch, one leg dangling off the edge, fiddling with his phone. "I suppose the only option would be to prove him wrong then. Show that you can 'keep someone around for more than a week' and rub it in his face, good ol' Gavin Reed style." He scowled, "But who would be this mystery date?"
Gavin looked up from his phone, shooting Nines a confused glance. "Well, I 'spose it could be one of those friends of yours. You've got like a million, it can't be that hard to find someone who'll like me. Even if I am kind of a dick!"
Nines hummed in confirmation, mentally creating a list of potential dates for Gavin. He had a lot of pros and cons lists to make.
Friend number two—Connor Stern, a newer acquaintance of his—was the catalyst for the second half of what would eventually turn into Nines' biggest embarrassment.
Connor had been more forthright with his date searching. On one of their shopping trips, devised when they found out they both lived at the same apartment complex as well as frequently shopped at the same local grocery store, he had suddenly enquired as to whether or not Nines could find someone he could go on a date with.
"I suppose, since it's been so long that I've tried dating, that I should consider pursuing romantic relationships. Now that I am about to graduate from the academy, I have more time to do so. So you have anyone in mind whom you think I could form a serious connection with, whether it be more friendly or more romantic?"
At first, Nines was a little surprised. But he quickly overcame that because a wave of excitement washed over him. Since he began planning a blind date for Gavin three days prior, Nines had closely analyzed the personalities of all of his companions. In doing so, he had gotten closer to narrowing down who Gavin's date would be. To find Connor a potential date, all he would have to do is make minor adjustments to his list of complementary personality traits and hobbies.
He gave Connor a small smile in confirmation. "I think I can come up with a person or two."
After narrowing down his list of potentials for Connor, he had to ask friends if they would be available in the set few days Connor had confirmed he would be free.
Option one, a close friend and classmate, North Dufay, stated that she had to take over for a friend who was on vacation at the taekwondo studio she worked at.
Option two, local street artist Markus Manfred, was also unavailable. His father was accompanying him to an art gallery showing in Paris, where both artists would present new works.
That left one person. The third friend roped into Nines' disaster of a plan, Elijah Kamski, genius and programmer, and massive introvert. It had been at least three years, half of the time Nines has known him, since he had even attempted to socialize with anyone outside of his immediate friend group. Jumping from one project to the next, he had a habit of ignoring any of Nines' attempts at getting him to redirect his attention elsewhere and relax. Nines hoped that, by introducing him to someone new who would match his wit and appreciate his devotion to his goals, it would encourage him to pursue other minor hobbies and allow him to de-stress.
Connor, who was sarcastic and determined, seemed like a perfect match.
Finding Gavin a date took a little more thinking than it did for Connor; he had a less approachable personality. Grumpy and irritable, many of Nines' friends would be unable to withstand sharp jabs and brutal honesty long enough to get to see his protectiveness and ambition.
North might've been a good option, but she had prior engagements. Tina might've gotten along well with Gavin, but they had dated in high school and agreed that being friends was better for both of them. At first, Chloe seemed like she might be a good match, but she had recently come out as aromantic and asexual, so Nines ruled her out.
The only option left was the chaotic ball of energy that was Leo Manfred, Markus' half brother. When he was younger, Leo had been in a bad situation, but finding supportive friends and a good therapist that encouraged him to redirect his anger to something more productive had helped him find a purpose in life, create goals.
Now a full time student, well on his way to becoming a psychologist, he was likely to enjoy Gavin's sass and dorky jokes.
People paired up, all Nines had to do was organize the details of the dates. For Connor and Elijah, he decided that a less crowded, but not isolated café just off of the main streets would be perfect. Or, was that where he had planned Gavin and Leo's date? No, he was mostly sure that he had made reservations for them at a local restaurant by Gavin and Tina's shared apartment. He didn't have time to worry about it at the moment; he had a final to study for.
Connor had the feeling that something was going to go wrong. Nines hadn't told him his date's name to prevent him from looking him up on social media platforms and form any opinions on him before their actual date. He was just told that his date was about average height, with dark hair, often wore glasses, and had horrible posture.
So of course, when someone matching that exact description walked through the door six and a half minutes after their scheduled meet up time, he hesitantly waved.
The man, indeed wearing glasses, seemed slightly out of breath. He hadn't seemed to try to dress up, dressed in a faded gray, long sleeved sweater and wrinkled blue jeans.
Flopping down into the chair across from Connor, his date sighed, stuck a hand out to shake, and blurted out "I'm so sorry I'm late! My roommate let my cat outside accidentally and I had to chase her down the street so that I could get her home and by the time I did, I had lime fifteen minutes max, and I still had to shower and stuff and then i realized that my dryer broke in the middle of this last load so most of my clothes are either soaked or horribly wrinkled and I couldn't find a shirt that made my eyes look really good and I forgot to put my contacts in and… yeah. I'm so fuckin' sorry, I wanted to try to impress you but I'm doing a kind of shit job at that huh?"
Connor blinked a few times, trying to absorb the story his date, who still had yet to introduce himself, threw at him. He tried to smile reassuringly, and shook the still outstretched hand. "Well that seems like a horrible afternoon. It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Connor. You're also a friend of Nines' then I suppose?"
"Oh yeah! Yeah I am. Uh, I'm Gavin. It's nice to meet you." Gavin shifted in his seat. "Sorry again for being late. It really isn't normal for me, I swear."
"Well it happens every one in a while. It's sweet that you care about your cat so much that you would go out of your way to looking for her like that. What's her name, if you don't mind me asking?"
Gavin gasped and frantically pulled his phone out, unlocking it. "Her name is Dana and she's a menace! Look, she's so fluffy!" He shoved his phone at Connor, who takes in the fluffy black mass, staring up at him through the photo. Her bright green eyes reflect a tiny image of Gavin, holding his phone to take the photo and squinting in concentration. Cute.
Connor smiles. "Well, that is the most gorgeous menace I've ever seen. She looks so soft."
"Oh she is. If I don't brush her every day, she gets violent." Connor snorts. "Ha, yeah it's funnier when you're not on the receiving end of her tiny little dagger-teeth. I should probably stop gushing about my cat; you'll think I'm crazy soon! So, uh, how did Nines describe me? Because he described you as, and I quote, a kind of tall, dark haired twink with a nice smile."
Connor chuckled. "It seems like the stress is really getting to him if he could only describe me as a twink with a nice smile. He was a lot more bland when describing you. He said you're average height, with glasses and dark hair and a horrible posture. Which, I mean, at least he's been pretty accurate with his descriptions, even if they do seem rushed."
Humming in agreement, Gavin asked, "Hey, what do you do? You got a job or you studying or what?"
"Oh I'm currently in the police academy. I wanna be a lieutenant someday."
Gavin wiggled in his seat. "Oh shit, I'm a cop too! I escaped the academy two years ago."
"Really? Oh that's amazing! Maybe we'll get to work together on cases. It would be nice to have made a friend or something when I graduate from the academy. So what do you do now? What's it like, being a serious police officer like that?"
They continued chatting for the next two hours, occasionally buying each other snacks and drinks. Connor was hesitant to end the date, suggesting they walk to the park or go watch a movie.
They spent most of the afternoon together, before Gavin offered to walk Connor home. Standing on the sidewalk by the front doors, Gavin slowly took hold of Connor's hands and stood on his toes to kiss Connor's nose.
"I had a lot of fun, I'd love to see you again" Gavin murmured.
A blush crept up Connor's cheeks. "Well it's a good thing I'm free next Saturday, because I do too."
"Oh, well that's good." Gavin sighed. "I'm gonna hafta leave soon, or else Dana'll throw a fit. I'll see you Saturday okay? Is seven good? I got a half brother who can hook me up with some fancy reservations if you'd like."
Connor squeezed Gavin's hand before hesitantly letting go. "Sounds like a date. I can't wait. Goodbye Gavin."
"G'bye."
Elijah was hesitant to go on Nines' blind date. In a hurry, he only said that his date was a smart kid, a couple years younger than Elijah himself, with dark brown, curly hair.
He didn't want the guy to think too highly of him or else he might want to schedule another date, and Elijah didn't have time for that. So, he decided to show up "accidentally" almost half an hour late. Pushing the café door open, his gaze immediately landed on a grumpy looking guy, maybe twenty-ish, who was slumped over his phone in a booth in the far back.
Shambling over to the grumpy kid, he asked "Are you Nines' friend? I'm here for the blind date."
Grumpy guy glanced up at him, grumbling a "Yeah that's me. You a little late there dude."
Slouching into the other side of the booth, Elijah quoted the excuse he planned out. "I'm sorry. My car wouldn't start, so I had to get a ride from a friend. Maybe I can buy you like a coffee or a sandwich to make up for it?"
"Well, you don't have to bribe me. If you're offering though, maybe a blueberry muffin and a caramel macchiato. And also a name?"
Elijah raised his eyebrows. This kid was more blunt than he was expecting. It was… nice. "Hmm I suppose that it makes sense to give you my name. Elijah." He paused. "Kamski." Some people knew who he was. It wasn't that surprising for a programmer as young as he is to catch the attention of mainstream media if they're successful, which he was.
"Leo. Manfred." Manfred, Manfred. Why did that name sound so familiar? "Are you gonna get my stuff or were you lying about that part?"
If he had wanted to make a better impression, he might've actually laughed at that. Instead, all he did was not and stand up, heading toward the counter. As he was walking, he glanced around the café, observing a small family, a couple teenagers working on homework, and Gavin? On a date. Hmm. That's something to tease him about later.
Returning to the table, he expected Leo to still be on his phone, but instead he was casually observing him. Might as well pass the time by talking. That usually pushes people away pretty fast. "You have a job? Studying?"
Munching on his muffin, Leo hummed. "Mhm. Psychology." Maybe this kid is smart. "Don't worry though, I promise I only psychoanalyze on the second date." Oh. He's actually funny. Maybe this won't be as bad as he thought.
Elijah allowed himself to smile a little at that. "Well, well, well, looks like I have something to look forward to." Elijah what are you doing? Did you just insinuate that you would like to go on a second date with this guy?
Leo chuckles and sets his muffin back down on its plate. "Well you still gotta impress me first. Bribery doesn't work with everyone. If this were the second date, though, I'd have a hell of a lot to say about the lying and avoidance of revealing personal details. But, like I said, that'll have to wait 'til the second date."
Definitely smart. More smart-ass though. That was more appealing than Elijah was expecting it to be.
He sighed. "Well, since you caught me, I suppose I'll have to share something for the class. I'm a programmer. I'm currently working on developing AI tools that will recognise voices to activate or shut down household items, like a stove that shuts off to protect young children from lighting their homes on fire."
"That sounds pretty cool actually. Gotta babyproof the fancy smart-technology. I was expecting you to be something lame, like a very antisocial plumber or a dentist or something, but you're not that boring I guess."
This time Elijah couldn't stop himself from laughing. Maybe, just maybe, he'll let himself enjoy this date. "'Not that boring I guess' is a compliment of the highest caliber, coming from someone as attractive as you." Why not go full flirt, if he wants this to go well.
"Keep talking like that and I'll be swooning into your arms in no time. Seriously though, be careful, I'm starting to like you. That would be horrible, wouldn't it?" Leo raised an eyebrow.
Elijah smiled a little. "I guess it wouldn't be that bad. I think I'm starting to like you too." He snuck a piece of Leo's muffin, then hummed in delight. "That is a phenomenal muffin. You've just been hoarding it all for yourself over there? You are a cruel and unjust monster. Gimme more."
Snickering, Leo smacked Elijah's arm away from the plate. "Only nice dates who ask nicely get to share muffins."
Elijah sighed. "Well I suppose if it's for a muffin of this quality, it will be worth it. I would like some muffin."
Leo didn't budge.
"...Please?"
At this,  Leo broke off a large chunk of the muffin and handed it to Elijah. "Well, since you asked so politely, I guess I'm required to give you some now. It's good date behavior. Gotta be good if I want ya to stick around I 'spose." He smirked. Then he glanced at his watch, a rather shiny silver. "Oh shit, I gotta go. I'm house-sitting for my half-brother and I gotta feed his birds."
Elijah hesitated in saying goodbye, even as Leo rushed to clean up. Suddenly standing, he blurted out, "Maybe we can schedule that second date?"
Leo paused, looking up at him. For a few seconds, Elijah thought he was going to decline the offer, but then he straightened his spine, smiled softly, and said, "Meet me at that Italian restaurant off of Main, next Tuesday? 6:30?"
"It's a date. I'll see you then. I'll accompany you to your car." The both of them walked side by side, just close enough that every once in a while, their knuckles would brush up against each other. Parting with a wave, Elijah started planning what he would do to show his thanks to Nines for forcing him to do this dumb blind date thing, because it seemed that it wasn't as dumb as he originally thought.
When Nines ran into Connor in the hallway, he had to see how the date went. "So, what did you think of Elijah?"
Connor froze, turned to look at Nines, brow furrowed, and asked, "Who the fuck is Elijah?" Uh oh.

Notebook | Even If We Try
Tumblr media
Yes, I know you're not kamleo fans, but give these two a chance. I swear, I love these two so much. Their relationship is something precious to me. Perhaps you can understand me if you read this. I think their relationship is very interesting.
___________________________
Elijah Kamski x Leo Manfred
2, 689 words
Warning: smoking, nothing special, but the mention of drugs
___________________________
Leo noticed him from a distance. As soon as a shadow passed through the glass doors of the building, he knew — Elijah was there.
Kamski pushed open the door, put his coat collar back on, and moved forward, wincing in the chilly wind.
Leo devoured Elijah's figure with his eyes. His perfectly black coat was the only contrast against the endless grayness of the place: withered grass, bare trees, dusty paved paths, and dirty, inconspicuous walls of the building, closing in a stone fence behind. It was so high that only the sky was visible behind it, and the sky, like everything else here, was gloomy and gray.
Elijah stopped at a bench, blocking the view of the bleak courtyard. Instead of ‘hello’, his lips twitched slightly, trying for a moment to curl into a forced, polite smile.
Leo lowered his head. He avoided looking at Kamski up close, and didn't particularly want to show him the results of being here. The emaciated, sallow face, the circles under his eyes, and the dead look were the result of hard days in his life. He was ashamed to show himself like this in front of Elijah, who seemed to have never had such days.
“How are you?” Kamski asked in a deep, low voice, frowning.
“Hard,” Leo breathed out. He had no reason to lie.
Elijah nodded. He knew it wasn't going to be easy, but he didn't prepare any words of support anyway.
There was an oppressive silence. They hadn't seen each other for only a few weeks, but now those weeks were like years of separation, which stood between them as a wall of silence and alienation. With each new meeting, they had fewer themes and words. They no longer knew what to say to each other.
“Do you have a cigarette?” Leo tried to look up, but the cloudy sky cut his eyes with its light, just as Elijah's silent presence cut his soul. Manfred immediately looked down.
“It seems like smoking is forbidden here,” said Kamski.
Leo just snorted. Prohibitions have never stopped anyone before. Drugs were also banned, but they were still brought here. Ex-addicts are only dead addicts, what can you say?
“You're Elijah Kamski, who's going to forbid you anything?”
Leo made another attempt to look up, but failed again.
Elijah sighed, frowning looked around and put his hand in his coat pocket. A moment later, a pack of cigarettes was tossed carelessly into Leo's lap, followed by a lighter.
“Isn't that too cheeky?” Kamski asked calmly, but there was a note of reproach in his voice.
Leo froze, the cigarette halfway to his lips.
“Here, you know, it's like a children's camp,” he grinned, thoughtfully swinging his cigarette, “at night, they smoke in the windows, during the day they hide in the bushes. You can smoke here. You just can't get caught, you know?”
“So, can you at least walk around the corner for decency's sake?” Elijah raised an eyebrow, questioning and haughty.
“Why?” Leo asked quietly. “I can piss on their faces, they won't do anything to me while you're here.”
“And then?”
“What then?” the cigarette bounced up and down between his lips. “Does it matter?”
A lighter flickered. Leo breathed in the smoke with difficulty, and it rubbed across his throat like sandpaper, leaving a bitter taste on his tongue and a sweet taste of chocolate on his lips. The cigarette smoked heavily.
“Heavy and expensive,” Leo said, looking at the pack. “Just like you.”
Elijah ignored this. For too long he had listened to the younger Manfred selectively.
Leo took only a few puffs. He had not smoked for a long time, so he confused the quickening heartbeat with pleasure. It was like a happy anticipation and a pleasant excitement. He felt alive for the first time.
“Can I keep it?” Leo waved the pack. “It's really hard here without them.”
Elijah reached into his coat pocket and turned away. You could tell by the curve of his mouth that he wasn't happy. The longer he stared at the gray wall of the building, the more tense the silence became.
“Does therapy help you?”
Leo coughed. He hoped that if he coughed up his lungs now, he wouldn't need to say anything.
“Answer the question,” Elijah asked imperiously.
“No,” Leo said with disdain.
“‘No’ because you need a different approach or ‘no’ because you don't want to make an effort?”
“‘No’ because it's bullshit,” Leo looked at Kamski with anger.
The corners of Elijah's mouth twitched. He was clearly displeased with this response.
“So you just don't want to make the effort,” he stated in a monotone voice.
The phrase hit Leo in the stomach. He gasped with indignation.
“This,” he pointed the cigarette between his fingers at the building, “is complete bullshit, Elijah. I've had enough of their ‘tell me what you don't want to tell’ therapies. I'm tired of their stifling revelations and snot-chewing. We are all unhappy, each in his own way, how fucking unexpected it is!”
Leo threw up his hands.
“Did you tell them?” Elijah turned his blue eyes to Manfred. “Did you tell them anything at all?”
“No! Of course not, damn it.”
“It won't work if you don't start talking.”
“Fuck it!” Leo shouted. “I'm not going to participate in this group rape. I won't complain that my father doesn't need me. Especially about...”
The voice trembled treacherously. Manfred turned away.
“Leo,” Elijah called softly.
“It's the smoke...”
Kamski looked down and crossed his arms. He didn't know what to do when Leo's eyes suddenly started to water from the smoke, the wind, or unpleasant memories.
“I don't want to talk about it, I don't want to write about it. I don't even want to think about it. They want to dig into themselves, so they can get a shovel in their hands. I just want to stop thinking about it. This is not a sad story to make everyone cry and say a compassionate ‘oooh’. It is mine. Personal. And I want it to stay that way.”
Elijah looked down at the toes of his shoes thoughtfully. His lips twitched. He wrapped his coat around him and sat down on the bench. Leo moved away instinctively.
“You told me about it,” Kamski breathed out softly and very delicately.
“Now I regret,” Leo growled back, rolling the cigarette between his fingers.
He was silent for a long time. Elijah didn't say anything either. He just stared up at the gray sky, which made his blue eyes look muddy and clouded.
“If you think that makes me feel better,” Leo's voice was hoarse, “you're wrong. And telling more people about it is not going to make it any easier for me either.”
Elijah winced.
“They are right about one thing,” Manfred waved a hand. “I'm running. We—” he glanced at the building, correcting himself, “are running. And locking us in here alone with ourselves with no alternative to drugs is the worst idea.”
“One on one with your problems,” Elijah brushed invisible dust from his perfectly black coat, “you can't run forever. You can't run away from yourself.”
Leo turned his head and stared at Kamski for a long moment. There was no emotion in his glassy eyes.
“It's not me, Elijah,” he said hoarsely after a long pause. “What happened is not me.”
“It's part of you.”
“The part I want to forget about,” Leo breathed in the cigarette smoke and jumped nervously on the bench, trying to sit more comfortably. “There are things that can't be coped with group therapy, long walks in the fresh air, and unpleasant routines. There are problems that can't be solved, you can only run away from them... and we were denied this opportunity.”
“You were forced to make an effort to overcome difficulties,” Kamski added a clarification
Leo hissed in annoyance.
“You can't refuse something without finding an alternative,” he breathed in the smoke with a whistle. “Even if we try to make ourselves all right, even if we break this vicious circle... as long as the addiction is in our heads, we are in danger. We cannot get rid of it by isolation, because obsessive thoughts do not come from outside.”
He paused for a brief moment and looked up, as if there was something in the sky that distracted him.
“I just want to get high.”
Elijah visibly tensed.
“Every fucking day, all I think about is how much I want to get high,” Leo hastily breathed in the smoke, stubbed out the cigarette and throwing it into the shrubs. “I think if I get out of here—” he cleared his throat, “as soon as I get out of here, I will—”
Manfred paused thoughtfully. There were things he shouldn't have said in front of Elijah.
“Prohibitions don't work,” Leo said. “We need alternatives.”
“What alternatives?” Elijah's voice was tense and displeased.
Leo shrugged his shoulders.
“More diverse activities? Something distracting? Maybe a phone or laptop—”
“That's out of the question,” Elijah cut him off.
“At least a TV,” Manfred asked in a whining, childish voice. “You know, the morgue is more fun place than this...”
Elijah Kamski narrowed his eyes, put his hands in the pockets of his coat, and pursed his lips in displeasure.
“That's where you'll end up if you continue…”
Leo scratched his dry lips with a fingernail and glared at Elijah.
He promised not to devalue other people's problems so obviously, but whatever it was, there was indifference in his words, in his look, in his expression, and even in his presence. It may have been rude, but Leo's problems are just Leo's problems. Kamski was willing to help with them, but he didn't exactly sign up to solve them.
“I want to go home,” Leo's voice was quiet and hesitant.
Elijah seemed to become uncomfortable. He sighed heavily, fixed his coat, and crossed his legs.
“We agreed that you would stay here for three months,” his voice was cold.
“We didn't agree about ‘here’,” Leo snapped.
“Really?”
The look in his blue eyes hurt Manfred. His voice, usually soft and calm, but now quivering with tension, sounding a tone higher and more resonant, was full of contempt.
“You absolutely have no willpower,” Kamski said, looking away.
“It's not true,” Leo whispered. He knew Elijah was right, and it made him angry. He had never been able to resist temptation, but like any human being, he was sure that if he needed it badly, he could control himself and overcome it. Just not right now. He was not ready now, and he knew very well that he never would be. Fighting with yourself, suffering for the good — a hard path you need to go through with your teeth clenched. There wouldn't be a good time for him to do it, they both knew that.
“I remember,” Elijah's voice became dangerously calm and relaxed, “after the hospital, you swore you were done with drugs forever, but here we are...”
“That—” Leo grimaced irritably and nervously. “That was just an episode...”
“How many such episodes were? How many more will be?”
“It was—” Manfred breathed out heavily, knowing that he couldn't finish the sentence without lying. “It won't happen again.”
Elijah turned his head and stared at Leo for a long moment. It was impossible to bear the heavy, burning gaze. Leo lowered his head guiltily, gritted his teeth, and shrank to the size of a pumpkin seed, hoping he could just disappear.
“You know I don't believe you,” Elijah said softly. “I wish I could, but I can't.”
“This time—” Leo's voice faltered and broke into a hoarse rasp. “This time it will be different.”
“You start repeating yourself...”
Leo pursed his lips painfully. Sometimes just faith is not enough. He would like to keep at least one of his words. But all the promises at once lose their meaning when you really want to get high.
“«This time,” Leo licked his lips nervously, “it will be different. I swear. It won't happen again...”
“Good, if that's true,” Elijah said under his breath, fixing his coat.
He turned and gave Manfred a strange look. A thoughtful, maybe doubtful.
“This is the last chance, Leo,” Kamski's voice was barely heard in the wind, “there will be no others. I can't help someone who doesn't want help. I'm not going to pull you out of this swamp by your ears anymore. You've had too many attempts already. This is the last one. If you can't handle it—”
Elijah turned away, exhaling heavily. He made it clear that if Leo betrayed his trust again, their paths would separate. Elijah forgave Manfred too much. More than anyone else. Even his brother was not so honored.
Leo closed his eyes and breathed out. He opened his mouth to say ‘I promise’, but didn't have time. The phone in Elijah's coat pocket vibrated insistently, alerting him to an incoming call. And that call was a hundred and a thousand times more important than anything Leo had to say.
Elijah didn't bother answering the phone quickly. Lazily, he took his phone out of his pocket, stared at the screen for a long time, then finally accepted the call, threw a short ‘I'm coming’ and immediately disconnected. Leo thought with annoyance that for all his philosophical slowness, Kamski did not like to waste his time. He never spent a second more than was necessary. So there's a question: how much time was he willing to give Leo today?
“I have to go.”
Even less than usual. Leo clicked his tongue. He shouldn't have set high expectations for these meetings. They became forced.
For too long Leo has been too uncomfortable with his addiction. But Elijah was still here. It should have been gratifying to Leo that a man who refused everything burdensome without regret was still with him for some reason, but it was not gratifying at all. He felt like a burden, and he was beginning to think about breaking this relationship with Elijah, even if it was the only thing that kept him on the line.
Kamski stood up. He was not going to choose the right words and prolong the good-bye indefinitely. This is not their last meeting.
“Are you coming next week?” Leo asked casually.
Elijah took a deep breath. He hoped he could avoid this question.
“I'll be out of town.”
Elijah's gaze moved across the bleak, bare courtyard. Manfred sighed.
“These are important meetings, Leo,” Kamski said with pressure.
“I know, I know,” the young man mumbled. “I'm not three years old. I understand that meeting with me has never been important enough for you...”
“We can reschedule,” Elijah said as gently as he could. “You're not going anywhere...”
“I'm not going anywhere,” Leo agreed, but at that moment he desperately wanted to hang himself on his own sheet, only for Elijah's words to become fatal.
Elijah's lips tightened, and his face looked sharpened.
“Thursday,” he broke the long silence. “Evening. I'll come to you for a while.”
Leo pursed his lips to hide a faint smile.
“Bring something for you?” Elijah reached up, pulled back the sleeve of his coat, and glanced at the dial of his watch.
“Cigarettes.”
Elijah gave him a disapproving look.
“And laptop.”
“Leo,” Elijah said imperiously. Obviously this was synonymous with a categorical no.
“At least a book,” Leo said with a despair.
“Okay,” Kamski nodded, “okay. I'll bring you a book.”
He raised a hand and, with the care common to all who deal with wild animals, patted Leo's hair sentimentally. Manfred grimaced, but said nothing.
“I have to go,” he said softly, under his breath. “See you Thursday, Leo.”
“See you Thursday, Elijah.”
Kamski turned and walked confidently away. It's always like this with them — neither hello nor goodbye. This makes meetings look cursory, but less burdensome.
Leo counted to ten before looking up. Elijah was no longer in the courtyard.
Heavy clouds were reflected in the windows and glass doors of the building.

"As I watched you play...something...has changed in me."
"I feel...different."
"I feel...I am someone."
In which the Menu Screen Chloe (who I will hc to be Kamski's main Chloe in this AU) goes to find the Connor she has heard so much about and admired in her state of slavery. Little does she know, Connor is dealing with his own personal issues after becoming deviant, including having to share a house with Hank, who still hasn't gotten over his metal phase.
Oh and also... Feelings are hard.
Kamski is like a creepy uncle but also supportive.
Hank is honestly just confused 24/7.

Time skip, Markus goes to Jericho, meet the readers group and during the first demonstration, the reader gets shot to protect Markus, and then he remenber everything, but he already is with North!
I’m so sorry this took so long but viola! Request filled!

NOVEMBER 2037
The snow was falling, sprinkling theground outside with its frozen white flakes. An old film was playing on the television, but you weren’t paying too much attention to it. Instead you were watching yourhalf brother Leo pace back and forth muttering to himself while he nervouslywrung his hands. His gaze was fixed on the Android that was in your room whohad his back to him as he folded your clothing and piled them on top of yourdresser. You could see the steady yellow glow of his LED in the mirror attachedto the dresser in front of him.
Leo was on it again, the Red Ice.You could tell by his flighty and erratic behaviour. He had a hatred forAndroids, especially the one in the room. He had burst into your room a fewminutes ago but had yet to say anything. It was almost like he was strugglingto find the words. Markus jumped off your bed all too quickly when he heard theheavy footsteps approach your room at an alarming pace. You and Leo were neverreally close, he appeared shortly after you did into your fathers’ life. CarlManfred, the famous artist, who seemed to have too much fun with women in hisearly playboy years.
The clock was ticking quietly, itwas the only noise you could focus on. Your gaze briefly flickered over toMarkus whose eyes locked onto yours in the mirror. He quickly looked away whenLeo finally opened his mouth. “I-I need some.” He said, his voice shaky. Younoticed his bloodshot eyes and the icy paleness to his skin. Leo needed helpbut whenever you offered it, he refused. You heard how addictive Red Ice was. It’d already killed hundreds of people across the country. “Leo, I don’tunderstand.” You said slowly standing from your bed. He lashed out when youtried to approach him, snarling at you and almost hitting you.
“MONEY – I…INEED MONEY!” He screamed.
At this point Markus turned aroundand walked over to the two of you. He seemed calm but the LED on the side ofhis head said otherwise with its red flashing light. “Do you require assistanceMs. Manfred?” He asked solely focusing on you. Just as you were about to answerLeo spoke up. “What, need your plastic pet to speak for you?” He hissed.
“Leoyou need to leave, come back when you can think straight.” You retorted.
“Wouldyou like me to escort you out?” Markus asked motioning for Leo to head to thedoor.
Leo grumbled something, most likelya curse, and stormed out of your bedroom. He slammed the door behind himleaving you stood there in complete shock. You still didn’t understand why yourfather allowed him access to the house with the state he was currently in. Assoon as you heard the front door to the house slam shut you let out a sigh ofrelief, feeling all the anxiety melt away from you. “I thought he was going tosee you, see us.” You said quietly while turning to Markus. Before Leo burstinto your room you and Markus were cuddled up on your bed watching an old film.
Humanand Android.
Together.
It wasn’t exactly unheard of; somepeople were even married to specialized household Androids who were supposed toact as a significant other. But Markus was different. He had always beendifferent from day one. Markus was hand crafted by Elijah Kamski himself, agift to your father in exchange for something your father had done for him. Youwrapped your arms around Markus and sunk into him, closing your eyes and takinga deep breath. “He would have probably torn you apart if he saw you with me.”You whispered. Leo despised Markus, he thought that he was replacing him insome way.
You wished people knew what you knewabout Androids. They weren’t just pieces of machinery; they were so much more, and Markus was proof. He was alive. Therewere others like him. They were hidden away underground. That was your sidejob, you were helping Androids like him that needed to escape. You knew justhow cruel some people were to the people like Markus. You couldn’t bare toimagine anyone hurting him. You hadn’t told your father about your sidemission, but you believed he knew, your father was a wise man and could seeright through your lies.
Markus’s hand moved to your back andhe pulled you closer to him. He had always been this way – emotional that is.Other Androids described breaking through some sort of barrier and then havingan onslaught of errors and emotions flooding at them after. Your arms looselyhung around his neck and you leaned back in his arms, staring up at him. TheAndroid smirked at you and tilted his head down slightly. “I love you too muchto let anyone hurt you.” You said with a smile before kissing him. The two ofyou parted and you noticed how his eyes seemed to almost glow, not to mentionthe grin on his face now. “What?” You asked raising an eyebrow. “Iwould do anything to keep you safe.” He replied, his version of ‘I love youtoo’.
 DECEMBER 2037
The snowfall was heavy, and the sides of the roadswere growing higher and higher the more snow is pushed off of the road to theside. The temperature was only going to continue to drop. The underground wascolder than above ground. It was dark as you sat on the ground against the wallof the abandoned subway system. The subway closed down a long time ago whenself-driving cars and the new bullet trains were introduced above ground. Thisis where you and your rag-tag group of human-android friends hid.
You were shivering down here. It washard to stay down here at night with how cold it was becoming. There neverseemed to be enough blankets to go around. Even some of the Androids werefeeling the effects of the frigid air beginning to shock their systems. Youwere hiding from the police, a lot can happen in a single month. Drearily youlooked around and could see the dozens of multi-coloured LED’s glowing in thedarkness. The steady dripping sound of the water leaking from the ceiling wasslowly lulling you to sleep. The cold was the only thing stopping you fromfully resting your eyes.
It had been a long day of evadingpolice custody. Officers were on the streets prowling for you and anyone whomay be supporting you and your cause. Recently you had become the new talk ofthe city and the media absolutely ate you up. It was mostly because you wererebelling against the government and rescuing ‘defective’ Androids that were inneed of a safe place. The deviants came to you when they had nowhere to go andthe humans that were like you came to support the group as well. A blanket wassuddenly draped around your shoulders and a hand fell onto your shouldersqueezing it gently.
Markus sat down next to you andpulled you close to his side. He was dressed warm enough in some of Leo’s oldclothes you dug out of some boxes in the storage room. Androids were built likehumans in some ways, for example they needed to keep their core temperaturemoderately warm or they would begin to become sluggish and eventually theywould shut down. “You should make a fire.” He said quietly.
“No– no fire.” You said, teeth chattering.
He still had much to learn. Androidswere programmed to find answers for reasonable problems and sometimes did notthink further on the matter, expanded thought was not something they weredesigned to have. “W-we’re under the city. I-In a s-subway system that stillhas c-connections to the city above. P-Police can detect s-smoke and willc-come check.” You said, voice shaking and teeth chattering even more. Markuspulled you closer and nodded slowly. The LED spun yellow as he processed thenew information.
After awhile your eyes fell closedand you snuggled closer to Markus. It was later in the night when the air ofthe subway tunnel had become more frigid when your eyes opened. The hair on theback of your neck stood and goosebumps flared up over your body. In thedistance you heard the crackling of a walkie talkie, someone was coming.“Everyone we need to go now!” You said as loud as you could without breakingyour whispered tone. Just as people were starting to stand up you were allblinded by a flood of bright white lights. “Detroit Police freeze!” A manyelled hidden behind the sea of flashlights. “Run!”You screamed.
It was mayhem after that. The soundof gunshots popping off echoed down the tunnel as you all sprinted away. Thelights followed all of you down the tunnel, your group slowly thinning outbecause of the rapid fire the police rained down on everyone. There were twoladders on either side of the tunnel up ahead that led up to the street. It washow all of you got down here. “Up – go up!” You yelled. It was difficult toform the words you wanted to say with the shock running its course through yourbody. You were shaky and terrified out of your mind.
You reached one of the ladders andmoved to the side ushering your group up before you. “Markus!” You yelled, eyessearching in the dark for him. The lights were coming closer and closer to youand you still couldn’t see him. The last person went up the ladder and thelight from the street above fell onto you like a halo. Your hand moved to theladder and you looked around once again for him. Then you saw his figureemerging in the distance, he wasn’t walking right, and he practically fell intoyou when he reached you. “You’re hurt.” You said looking at the Thiriumspilling from the bullet holes in his body.
“Comeon we have to go.” You said tugging him up the ladder as you climbed.
His hand stopped you, he grabbedyour arm and held it firmly. You looked down at him and saw the absolutedespair in the eyes. The police were running after you, they were almost here.“Reset me.” He said. It dawned on you what he was asking you to do, you shookyour head. This was ludicrous, they would kill him either way even if he wasreset or not. “Markus they’ll kill you.” You said, tears coming to your eyes.
“Iwill slow you down and I know you won’t leave me and if you don’t reset me,they’ll pry every piece of information on you out of my head.”
Markus was right. Why did he have tobe right? Androids couldn’t reset themselves and the action would only pop upif a registered ‘owner’. You hated the thought of being his owner. The wordleft a sour taste in your mouth. Nevertheless, you forced the dreaded words outof your mouth. “RK200 #684 842 971 I order you to reset yourself.” You said thewords coming forced from your mouth. Cyberlife employees were really supposedto reset Androids to avoid any unwanted errors that may come with it. Deviantswere allowed to choose whether the action could be done or not which was whyresets tended to not work on deviants.
His LED spun red and you knew it washappening. You leaned down and kissed his forehead, eyes closing as you feltthe tears roll down your cheeks. After a moment you pulled back and quicklyclimbed up the ladder and out of the manhole without sparing him a second glance.
NOVEMBER 9, 2038
You awoke to a harsh knock on yourdoor. Your eyes flew open and you gasped loudly. The loud knock had awoken youfrom yet another nightmare. It was always the same one that repeated over andover inside of your head, usually before something big. The nightmares werealways of that night down in the old subway tunnels where you had to abandonMarkus. This time you dreamt of seeing him get shot by the police. You wereglad the knock on your door awoke you when it did.
Shuffling through the tiny apartmentyou opened the door and greeted one of your Android friends. Jaime wasresponsible for keeping tabs on the other group; Jericho. Whispers around thestreets said that they were marching today. You didn’t get out much anymore, not after the incident in the tunnel. Your face was plastered over everyprecinct wall in Detroit. People in your group like Jaime came and you wouldexchange information and they would go back and relay it to your group. It wastoo dangerous for your face to be shown in public…until now.
Jericho was once a small grouplocated in an old freighter by the water. It had significantly grown in numberssince then. Your information about the new leader was very little but you knewthat his name was Markus. You already told yourself that it wasn’t your Markus. The police most likely shot him as soon as they came upon him and then dumpedhis body with the rest in a junkyard. It was also logical that there were infact other Androids out there with the same name. After all, there weremillions of Androids spread across the United States and that name wasn’t onlyspecial to one specific Android as much as you wished it was.
Jaime followed you to the beat-upsofa in the middle of the room. You plopped down onto it while he stood infront of you looking down. This apartment building was condemned and had yet tobe demolished so you camped out here in secret. He sat down next to you andoffered you one of his awkward smiles. He’s an HR400 who escaped from the EdenClub, he joined your group a little while after what happened at the tunnels. “Theyare marching today. One of our informants inside got confirmation of this. Asyour advisor I would like to point out Jericho’s recent violent disturbances, public opinion is beginning to sway.” He informed.
Yousighed, “What you’re really saying is that we need to confront them.”
He nodded and you sunk further intothe couch. You had held off interacting with Jericho up until this point. Ifyou didn’t then the likelihood that Androids would survive this ‘revolution’was highly unlikely. Jericho was becoming destructive and it was damaging thepublic opinions severely. You knew this day would come, when you would have toconfront this group. The awful feeling in the pit of your stomach wasn’thelping. You sighed again and dragged your hands down your face tiredly. “Whereare they planning to do this?” You asked.
“WoodwardAvenue.” Jaime answered.
It wasn’t too far from where youwere currently located. As a leader you had to make the tough decisions. Youstood up and grabbed your long black coat from the bedpost it was hanging onand slid it on. “What are we going to do?” Jaime asked following you to thedoor. You pulled the hood up and looked up at him, “We’re going to stop them, cut them off before they get too far.” You answered.
That was exactly what you and yourgroup did. You hid within the crowd of your group, your head down to keepyourself hidden. Jaime was next to you and had communicated your instructionsto the group. Some of your followers were helping the people on the sidewalksget away before the confrontation happened. You had no doubt in your mind thatthe police would show up soon. It was only a matter of time now. “He’s here.”Jaime said, loud enough for you to hear. You nodded and moved through the crowdquickly until you were at the front. You raised your head to finally get a goodlook at this so called ‘ruthless leader’.
Your world shattered around you whenyou saw his face. So many nights you spent believing he was dead, wiped fromthis world completely. There was no mistaking him and you knew that it wasimpossible that this was some other Android. Elijah Kamski made Markusspecifically for your father. There was no other Android like him and therenever would be because Kamski didn’t make Androids anymore. You met in themiddle; he had a female Android at his side. She was a WR400 from the EdenClub. The two of them seemed close. “We’re demonstrating peacefully, is that acrime?” He asked, hearing his voice was a nightmare in itself.
You pulled the hood down and staredat him wide eyed. “Markus.” You whispered his name for the first time in almosta year. He looked at you as if you were a threat. It was almost like speakingto a poor imitation of him. He looked like Markus but this…this wasn’t Markus. He seemed so cold and angry, something that he never was before. “Markus she’sa human.” The Android to his side said, the word ‘human’ rolling off her tonguein disgust. It was clear that she had a problem with humans. You drew in abreath, gaze hardening as you pushed the thoughts of Markus to the back of yourhead. You had to remind yourself that this wasn’t him. It couldn’t be him. “Dueto the recent outbreaks of violence from Jericho I’ve deemed you unfit to leadyour group.” You said swallowing the lump in your throat.
“Ahuman leading our people Markus, it’s insane!” the redhead yelled.
He stared at you completely ignoringhis companion at his side. “I didn’t use to lead alone, I had someone else. AnAndroid that I cared for very much, he helped me take care of my father. Oneday we were caught by the police and well, I thought he was gone.” You said, gaze fixed on Markus. His LED was missing, he looked like a human. There seemedto be a spark in his eyes and just when he went to speak the SWAT team pulledup behind you. The tires squealed against the pavement and armored squadsrushed out of their trucks and lined up. You turned around and walked throughyour group whom moved out of the way to make a path for you. “This is an illegalgathering, disperse immediately!” An officer shouted from behind the line up.
The SWAT teams had their guns aimedat your group and Jericho. They took this as a threat. Your fears were comingto life. Markus had destroyed any sort of credibility you were trying to build. You raised your hands in the air surrendering and the rest of your group didthe same. “You don’t want to do this; we’re trying to save Detroit!” Youyelled. It was the truth. Jericho was going to start a civil war if you didn’tstop them – stop Markus. The officer continued to yell; his commands beingprojected through the crowd. Then you heard her voice, her voice loud and clearthroughout the rumbling of the two groups. She was talking to Markus, encouraging him to fight.
You turned your back to the SWATteam and just as you were about to yell to stop any sort of plans, he yelled,“Attack!” Jericho ran through your group, Markus and the Android to his sideleading them and clashed with the SWAT team. There was gunfire and yelling andyour group stared at you looking for answers. You had been a mystery to most ofthem until today. “Stop them!” You yelled. They nodded and jumped into thefight as well trying to separate Jericho from the SWAT team. Through the flurryof people, you frantically looked around for Markus. That Android has beenpersuading him and you knew it. “Markus!” You yelled moving through the fightswiftly.
You finally saw him, with her. She had a smile on her face as sheshot one of the men dawning a SWAT uniform. Markus looked at her the same waythat he used to look at you. It made your heart wrench at the thought. Anyprevious thoughts of how dangerous he was to the cause vanished when you sawone of the SWAT members aim their gun at his back. “Markus!” You yelled runningfor him and before you knew it you were tackling him to the pavement. The shotrang off in the air within an instant. You rolled off of him and fell back ontothe cool pavement feeling the cold air brush against your face.
Markus stood up, his shadow loomingover you. “Markus we can’t let them get away!” You heard her yell off to yourright. He didn’t budge, his gaze fixated on your figure. He looked haunted, likehe had seen something he wished he hadn’t. He fell to his knees and dragged youinto his lap. Your body was cold and hot at the same time, like you werebecoming numb from the bottom up. Your stomach was the hotspot where it burnedthe most. You felt his hand press against your stomach, and you yelled. Thesound of your pain caused him to pull his hand away quickly and that’s when younoticed the blood.
 Howpoetic.
You two seemed to be doomed, notmeant to be. It was wickedly cruel to make your relationship as tragic as this.Just when you seemed to get to him again you were the one to be destroyed thistime. “M-Markus.” You whispered; his name barely audible against your lips.
“Whathave I done?” He whispered to himself.
There were tears in his eyes when helooked down at you. Markus was never one to cry. He was wise and strong and tosee him cry made your heart ache. He looked you up and down, his gaze seeminglyzoned out as he did. He was scanning you and assessing your wounds and yourprobability of living. Your hand fell on top of his and you squeezed it pullinghim from his informative daze. The SWAT team had retreated and whoever was leftalive was treating those who were injured. North was looming behind Markusglaring down at him with her arms crossed.
Your gaze flickered to his mouth andthe way his lips trembled as he tried to hold himself together. “I wish I was asdurable as an Android.” You whispered with a pained laugh. Markus shook hishead. This didn’t seem to be the first time he’s had to deal with such a loss. Thepain in your stomach was growing worse and your body only continued to growcold. The colder you got the more fatigued you became. You needed to rest youreyes if only for a moment. “We’re not all evil Markus, you used to love meafter all…once upon a time. Don’t you forget that.” You said, your words becomingslurred together.
The deviant leader was at a loss forwords. He didn’t even know how to talk to you. He was still trying to processthe fact that this was well – it was you! Markus just got his memories back ofyou and everything the two of you went through and he was losing you. Thispainful blow was worse than when he lost Carl. “Markus you can’t ju-” North wascut off by the deadly looking Markus gave her when she began to speak.
He wasn’t there for long. Soon hehad emerged from the crowd, face blank and tear stained as he carried your bodydown the street. Something inside of him broke. Deviancy was no longer all itwas cracked up to be. Emotions were complicated and painful, he wanted to benumb again. He knew one thing that he wanted…he wanted to never forget you.
Andhe never did.

Side ships include: Markus x Simon, Gavin x RK900, Luther x Kara, meaning some chapters will be directly about them and not just implied. Mostly Reed900 tho.

Brothers
A five part series taking place after the pacifist/best ending of D:BH where Gavin Reed and Elijah Kamski are half-brothers. [x]
It Was Never About Jealousy; Gavin&Elijah, Gavin&Connor, Elijah&Chloe; [x]       No one knows Gavin Reed is an illegitimate child and the half-brother to Elijah Kamski. At least no one does until Connor does a fucking DNA analysis on him without him realizing it.                                                                                                                  32,535
A Missing Genius;                    Gavin&Elijah, Gavin&Connor, Gavin/Nines; [x]       Everything seems to be going well for Gavin until suddenly his brother turns up missing. Finding out his brother's disappeared without a trace should already make this day the worst day imaginable but somehow it gets worse when Gavin finds out the new partner he's stuck with.                                                                                               50,286
The Teenage Android;                 Gavin/Nines, Gavin&Elijah, Elijah&Chloe; [x]       Months pass without a word from Nines. Gavin really starts to wonder if he'll ever see the android again, at least until Nines shows up unannounced at his front door with a child and a teenager at his side.                                                                                          30,146
My Canvas;                                     Elijah/Leo, Elijah&Chloe, Gavin&Elijah; [x]       When Elijah first meets Leo Manfred, he's fairly certain no one's looked at him with that much hatred in their eyes before.                                                                        48,358
The Holidays;                                   Gavin/Nines, Elijah/Leo; Gavin&Elijah; [x]       So much can happen in a year. It seems insane that Gavin's made plans for the holidays, that he has a social life at all that he now needs to work around. Yet here he is with a god damn boyfriend somehow going to a gallery to support his brother's boyfriend. How the hell did that happen?                                                                                    14,047
